Question: Could these women at work be flirting with me? Posted: 17 Sep 2019 05:06 PM PDT This one coworker who's cute was walking through the empty conference room as I had my lunch. She said "hey (my name) sorry to interrupt!" And then she came back into the conference room about 5 minutes later and said "hey I'm sorry I'm doing it again!" And she smiled. I said oh no it's ok. It just so happened the conference room offered her a short cut to and from her office. But I loved how she smiled and said "sorry I'm doing it again!" as it was a pretty smile, it didn't look forced. She's engaged though. Also, one of the managers ordered me some nice mechanical pencils to help me perform my job. She was like "I wouldn't order these for anyone else besides you!" She smiled while saying it. A coworker and I had made a short list of supplies I needed so the manager ordered them. I don't think the manager is married. |
Question: Why are you even friends with Scott? Posted: 17 Sep 2019 05:02 PM PDT I dont get why you're friends with him |
Posted: 17 Sep 2019 04:44 PM PDT Let's say he used to say insensitive things such as "I bet his d*ck/semen stutters when he ejaculates" and other stuttering remarks behind his back. If he were to send the stutterer a friend request several years later, or if the stutter sent him a request, is the man who made fun of the stutterer, more grown up and compassionate. Keep in mind he was already grown (early 30s) when he said those mean things. I'm just wondering since people who are FB friends with classmates and/or co-workers they made fun of (unfortunately not just in teen years, but also adult years). So are they just being nosey as to what that person they made fun of, is doing nowadays according to Facebook, and that they are still insensitive? |
Question: Do you think something is probably wrong? Posted: 17 Sep 2019 04:26 PM PDT I had this friend who I used to talk to often. Pretty much everyday for 3 years. Now she talks to me a lot less. I don't really get it though, she still acts like she's my close friend. For example, she keeps me as one of the few friends on her friends list and she talks to me like I'm a close friend. I think she does this to a lot of people, not just me. |
Posted: 17 Sep 2019 03:37 PM PDT she also has another new best friend and I don't even understand how she tolerates her she is so annoying |
Question: Did i fall in love with her?????? Posted: 17 Sep 2019 02:57 PM PDT there was this girl who I knew for about 2 years, i began working with her in a retirement home. I thought she was really pretty and she had a great personality. her name was Amanda and we got along great from the start. deep down I felt like she liked me but she was married, I obviously respect her marriage that's why I never made a move on her but she obviously knew I liked her. Back in the beginning of February she quit and I never knew why. she even blocked me from her Facebook, I haven't seen her nor spoken to her since February but deep down I still miss her so much.. I think about her constantly and I've never in my life felt like this about any other girl in my life. Why is this happening to me????????? Can i have advice???? My friend showed me a picture that she posted on Facebook yesterday, and she looked extremely beautiful!!!! |

Posted: 17 Sep 2019 12:42 PM PDT I'm a college junior who's been in the same friend group since year 1. We all met in our dorm building, and it was really easy to relate back then - we were all freshman living together, didn't know anyone, exploring Philadelphia. After a year I moved into an apt. with 2 of them. Both good guys. When you spend over a year with the same people, you get to know them very well. I started realizing they had no intention of letting anyone else into our "group". I knew cool people outside of them, meeting them in class/on campus. But the group was not interested in hanging with these people, and if they were, it was only for a very short period of time. On weekends, we spend about 2 hours pre-gaming at our apartment, and eventually go to a party. From there, my friends will only talk to each other for about 1 hour, and then go back to our apartment for another 3 hours, smoking weed. Doing this for over a year has been a drag. I could be having an awesome time, and by 11:30-12:00, my friends are literally trying to drag me out of the party. I've stayed without them and met really cool people, but honestly I think my lack of multiple social groups has made me worse at making new, good friends. I've hung out with new people a couple times, and the worst part is my friends get weird when I do ("What about the group, dude?!?") Should I stick with them and just keep on trying to meet new people , or make it clear to them that I don't want to be confined by their insecurities anymore? |

Question: I feel unwanted and lonely? Posted: 17 Sep 2019 10:29 AM PDT I am in college and have friends but not many. Some of my friends just don't reply to some of my texts when I ask them to hang out, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what. I am a shy person and it takes energy for me to interact. I'm overwhelmed with school work and my job. I just feel a little off right now. No one ever if I'm okay, I try to present myself as fine on the outside. Can anyone point me in the right direction or offer some advice? |
Question: I AM BEING MADE FUN OF BECUZ OF MY NAME ! WHY DO PEOPLE CALL RICHARD DICK ? Posted: 17 Sep 2019 10:13 AM PDT My name is Richard. In my childhood my friends used to call me Richie or Richie Rich. It all was normal and made since. But since i have started going to college I have been bullied for my name. People call me d.i.c.k instead of Richard or richie. They say it is short for richard but it doesnt make any sense i dont even have a bloody K in my name how can it be dixk. Everyday everyone cracks penis or dick jokes around me. Some bullies stick out their penises everytime i pass by. I am being harassed all the time. Someone drew a dick on my locker and just yesterday someone pissed in my water bottle. When i get angry they simply say that since i am dixk i should be enjoying this. People are now asking me if i wanna see them jerk off. Oneday i was sick so i vommited in class instead of helping me out someone said that is the biggest *** shot they have ever seen and all the class started laughing and there i lay in my puke and tears. WHY ARE THEY CALLING ME DICK ??????? |

Question: Someone stole my entire pencil pouch. What should I do? Posted: 16 Sep 2019 09:52 PM PDT Someone stole me entire pencil pouch which I just bought that had around $20 in pens and pencils in it. I was working in groups and I just took my pencil with me. After we were done I went back to my seat and soon the class ends. I don't know how I didn't notice my pouch wasn't on my desk still, but I noticed once everyone in the class was basically gone. I couldn't really ask anyone at that point. I just don't get how someone just decides to steal someone's whole thing . To me since I just bought all that stuff it was like someone stole $25 from me which I didn't like. I don't have this class until later this week, so I'm deciding whether or not I want to confront the people who were around my desk and start asking questions. What should I do? The school year just started and I don't talk to anyone in there and people may talk about me since I'm starting a scene over a pencil pouch. But if it's not yours don't touch it . |
Question: My best friend replaced me? Posted: 16 Sep 2019 09:00 PM PDT So last week I was doing chores and had a lot of homework and my best friend messaged me asking if i wanted to hang out with him that day and i told him i couldn't because i was busy and now i see him with some one else in the halls at school and he's always with that person and i tried to come up to them to talk but he just ignores me or tells me he's found a new best friend and doesn't need me anymore and i'm really hurt |
Question: What’s difference between friends and teammates? Who has a closer relationship? Posted: 16 Sep 2019 08:39 PM PDT Teammates can be awesome but so can friends! So who has the classes relationship? |
Posted: 16 Sep 2019 08:05 PM PDT recently me and my one friend (who we can call Jane) went out and i happened to catch sight of an old high school friend named d. Jane had no idea who he was because she didn't know him. all three of us started hanging out, we hung out twice. Recently Jane is more interested in hanging out with D one on one, without me. they private message rather than talking on the group chat that we set up. Jane had told me that after work she would rather have me pick her up or rather have d do it. she asked me if I was okay and I had told her "no that he was my friend and we all should hang out together" and she simply said "you can't know a person just by hanging out with them for two days, and just texting" and i just it bothered me, I really feel like she's pushing me to the side. What do you think/how should I handle this? |
Question: Is this person really being a friend and what should I do? Posted: 16 Sep 2019 07:38 PM PDT to cut this story short I have this friend who I have known for almost two years and stuff and im always the one suggesting places to hang out and I feel its always me doing the planning and it always has to be around her schedule, she says stuff like "I have to see if im not busy" "I don't know as of now" or even "remind me again the day before" like that to me doesn't seem to be like she's really interested in hanging out with me as her friend. |
