Question: Teenagers make fun of the way I walk. Help? Posted: 26 Sep 2019 02:38 PM PDT I'm a 27 year old woman. I have moderate to severe scoliosis, as well as one leg shorter than the other, and I guess these problems are causing me to walk funny. I wasn't even aware of it until I was out walking my dog one day and these 2 teenage boys literally pointed and laughed at me, and they even yelled 'Why do you walk like that?'. They've done this twice to me while I was out walking. I ignored them both times and just kept walking, but it's stuck with me ever since and I hardly ever go on walks anymore. When I do go out, I feel extremely self-conscious and depressed. I've noticed other teenagers staring at me, too, it's not just these two boys. Like for intense, I was at Target not too long ago and some teenage girls were walking right behind me and were making fun of me. They were saying to each other how I was flat chested (I'm A cup) and I saw them trying to imitate my walk while saying ''she walks like this! LOL''. I pretended I didn't notice or hear them and just kept walking, but I did hear them because they were literally 5 feet behind me and it really hurt me emotionally. I'm an adult, so I know I shouldn't care of any teen thinks of me, but I sadly do... And I hardly ever leave my house anymore. I think some adults stare at me too, but they've never made fun of me (that I know of anyway). How can I stop caring so much and just live my life? Thanks for any advice, I highly appreciate it |
Question: People who have seen The Secret Life Of Pets 2 may answer (details)? Posted: 26 Sep 2019 08:53 AM PDT I have always been a little bit like Max and I would like to be more like Rooster. I want people to flinch when I speak to them. How can I be more like him? |

Posted: 25 Sep 2019 06:28 PM PDT Me and my friends have our own band we're doing a concert tomorrow afternoon we sing everything from 80's rock to 90's country we even have a few songs of our own. We're gonna be singing Go Rest High On The Mountain we're dedicating the song to one of our cousins who is dying. We're also doing a song we wrote for the victims of the Memorial Day tornadoes in Dayton also the shooting victims we wrote a song called Rise Up. We performed that song while opening up for our favorite band back in July after the tornado happened everyone loved it even the band was touched by it they said they couldn't have done a better song. We also got family in Dayton through out the Miami Valley it was a very emotional song for everyone. My brother in law tried not to cry he was singing it it's his song so he wrote it he sings it. I'm a little nervous because this is the first time we ever had this song compared with other sad songs we sing. Is it ok to cry ? |
Posted: 25 Sep 2019 06:22 PM PDT Since last December, my mother has allowed her youngest brother to live with her and my dad. He's 64 and will turn 65. He's lived with my folks before I was born and I guess for a while when I was still a baby. The first time he lived with my folks, he brought over a hooker and also brought over a lot of his friends back then. He once told my folks, "I can pay for the rent in this apartment all by myself." He's been divorced twice. He once told my mom, "My children don't need me," meaning not for money or to even see him. He doesn't care to see his 3 grown children (two of them, he denied being their father), he doesn't know their ages and he doesn't care to see 2 of his grandchildren. He NEVER works overtime because his logic is, "I've been in America for a longtime." For a guy who is about to turn 65 next month, he still drinks, smokes and gambles and he looks older than my folks because of his bad habits. He NEVER asked my dad if it would be okay to move in with him and my mom this second time around. According to my dad, he sleeps till like 9 or 10 am on his off days, when my folks are already awake and doing things. He doesn't pay my folks rent at all. I on the other hand, I just go to work, go to the gym, I go home and I babysit 2 of my nieces. I don't even drink or smoke. No criminal record on me. Despite how I am, my mom likes having this brother at her house and has more respect for him than me. |
