The more time goes by the more I can't stand him. He is a very good and empathetic person but there are some issues I have with him.. He constantly talks, constantly compliments me when I don't want to be complimented, (he's explained many times that he does not have romantic feelings for me) he's just not funny, he overreacts to everything, he's basically OBSESSED with me and will never take a damn hint of when to shut up and leave me alone. I was first convinced that these were the reasons for not liking him as my friend but I felt like there was more to it than just that. Then it hit me - the reason I find him so unlikeable is because he reminds me so much of myself. And i absolutely hate myself. His style of humor and overreacting I can relate to. (although i am socially awkward and barely talk, unlike him) And i find myself really gushing over certain people like he does, the only difference is i keep it to myself instead of expressing it and coming off as creepy. (and many more examples I wont get into.) So how do I solve this? Do I just need to be at peace with myself? Do I need to accept myself before accepting him as a person? Do I just need to end the friendship? He would be heartbroken if I did because i'm apparently "the only person who ever cared about him" and it would hurt me breaking someones heart like that... but what do you think?? |

Months go by without them talking to each other, and whenever the guy sees the girl, he'll either look down or walk in the opposite direction, however, he recently added/followed her on social media again. Any reason for why that is, even if he avoids her in person? |

Now before you say maybe it's the sex... we've literally done it hundreds of times. I've noticed the past couple of months he's become more affectionate... attentive... and available. Before the act, he was saying how much he appreciates me and cares about me a lot.. so the fact that he said I love you later in the evening didn't seem far fetched but it's the first time he ever said it. There have been cases thatit was turned off by itself somehow and he was upset until he found out that I didnt do it intentionally 2. He deactivated his Facebook and so did I. He reactivated it and then was upset about our relationship status not being together and I had to remind him that I deleted my Facebook 3. He was quick to bring up breaking up after our first argument. He basically stopped texting me and then I gave him soace to cool off. After a day he pissed that I hadn't texted him back. 4. He gets upset when I read his message but I take a little time to reply. I usually text him back immediately but sometimes I'm doing something and I can't reply for a bit 5. He seemed perfect initially... 6. He takes care of his mom and supports her financially and loves her but he called her a fat cow once when we were talking about her (he has an eating disorder and he use to be big but he's lost tons of weight) Are these things normal. He's 36 btw |

Im in my late 20s now but i realized that my addiction to video games has faded. It's just boring playing them 24 hours a day, every day. Now i am entering the real world getting fresh air and sun, but unfortunately don't have any friends or girlfriend to talk to. All i talk to is my mom, dad, sister and dog :(. And i still live with my parents. Infact, so bored that i went to a girl and just randomly asked her out for a date. And she actually said yea :) Im taking her to an adventurous place where you climb stuff and zip line. This will be my first ever date, and first ever friend (i know this is sad and pathetic but true) But the drive is 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back. How can a socially awkward guy talk to a girl that long in the car??? That's a total of 120 minutes? I had no life up until now so i have nothing to talk about. I was thinking about writing a list of things to talk about. When i run out of things to say pull out the list, ask her a question or say a statement, and then put the list back in my pocket while driving. What should i do??? |

I also noticed her smiling when i would smile looking at her when someone would make a funny comment and stuff/ are these hints she likes me? |
