Question: Am I in the wrong here? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 05:51 PM PDT this all is petty drama to me but I'm genuinely confused as to if I'm wrong or not..... me and a friend run an online jewelry business. She started hers up first and I let her know I wanted to start one and she seemed to be fine with it. That was a thing for a few months; nothing bad occurred. A month ago I was looking through online and found this really cool necklace on this big seller's page and wanted to recreate it since it seemed so easy. I looked for the pendant and ordered it from eBay meaning since it was from China it would take a month or so to arrive. I then remembered that my friend had that necklace but not for sale, just for her personal use. I didn't think there was any problem with me selling a necklace with a pendant I found on another woman's page who had a lot more of a following than my friend. It wasn't my friend's concept. So I waited for it to arrive, set it up and put it up on my shop and my friend immediately minutes after went online complaining about how people can never come up with their own ideas and how she was so mad... there's no other person she could've been talking about other than me. But i don't get it, she didn't come up with the concept, someone already had and either she copied it from them or just bought the piece from said person. [continue in comments] |
Question: How many times have I been sexually assaulted? Please answer? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 05:14 PM PDT Incident 1 I was 10. I had a cousin who was 12. They started showing me porn and wanted to act it out. He started fingering me but I kept telling him no. I didn't want him to. #2 I went on a date with a guy when I was 15. It was my first date ever. I kept trying to leave and said I wanted to go. He grabbed my arm and kept blocking the door and kept holding my head down so I had to blow him. I kept saying I wanted to go but he kept making me blow him. I said I wasn't in the mood and then he got on top of me and fondled me. #3 I had sex with my now ex. I told him to stop bc it was bad. He tried to shove it back in after I kept saying I didn't want it, repeatedly saying, "please, hold still." I eventually just left. #4 I was high. I was having sex with now, another ex with a condom on. He then took off the condom. I kept saying no but he held me down and put it in anyway. I enjoyed kinky sex and he knew that but I didn't want that. He then said, "I just raped you" to me after. #5 A dude just put it in without the condom when I didn't know #6 I was really drunk and tired. This guy asked me 15 times for sex. I was in a ton of pain and didn't want to do it but he wouldn't stop asking and pressuring me to touch him for pretty much hours. I'm also 20 btw |
Question: What’s a good excuse to miss work? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 04:31 PM PDT Okay so the reason why I want to miss is because I got a special appointment I need to attend to and my manager is the most bitchiest person there is. I told her before hand like a month in advanced but she didn't listen. What's the best way to go about it ? |
Question: Why do people get mad at me because I keep my personal life private at work? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 04:15 PM PDT I am a very private person and people tell me that I'm a jerk at work because I don't tell them about my personal life and keep to myself and only talk about stuff related to work |
Question: Best friends calls too much, advice on how to handle it? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 03:59 PM PDT One of best friends for about 4 years now is beginning to bug me too much. She calls me almost EVERY DAY to talk about the most ridiculous stuff. She is my friend so I try to be nice. She KNOWS I do not like talking on the phone especially for no reason. It's getting to the point where I feel like she depends on me. I am literally her only friend which I think is very weird, SHE cut off her other friends. She always asks me if she should do this, do that, say this, say that, literally seems like she has to have my permission for things. She can never make a decision on her own unless I say otherwise LITERALLY . It's very odd and seems to just be getting worse... I don't want to end the friendship but she needs to find a hobby or something cause I have a life. |
Question: How to overcome hurt? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 02:55 PM PDT Recently, I found my birth family and wanted to meet up with them. But they rejected me, especially my mom and I'm heartbroken. I don't have any friends so now I feel lonely. I want to move away soon but I feel like it would be helpful to have a friend to go with me. I wish wishes would come true. I would wish for my family to like me and for a friend. |
Question: Why are bullies nice when you beat them? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 02:20 PM PDT I had this happened several times. When I was patient and applied the non-violent methods teachers advocated, it did nothing. It lasted 2 years. However, once I had enough and literally beat them into submission (to the point one of them pleaded for me to stop, that he'll nice, etc..lol), suddenly they turned nice. A couple of them even befriended me. Why is that? Why are they nice to you if you beat the living stuff out of them? I find it interesting that a beating is all it took for it to stop. Off course me and the bully got suspended but I didn't care by then. At least the bullying stopped. I guess that's a strange way to making new friends...lol. |
Question: Homesickness and loneliness will it ever get better? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 01:23 PM PDT I am a freshman at UC San Diego. I committed to coming here because it was an hour and a half away from home so it was easy to visit frequently. When I got here however I have just been lonely and depressed the whole time. I miss my parents so much all the time. I struggle with making friends because it feels everyone already knows each other and has their friend groups. I just feel so lonely that no one wants to be friends with me. At this point I just want to return home and go to community college . |
Question: I miss my old friends (depressed please help)? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 10:38 AM PDT i spend my best days in middle school with my old friends who were the best friends i ever met. We used to hang out a lot and talk in social media a lot. but one day, when i went high school, i drifted apart. I went to another school and they all went to the same school and ever since then we lost our communication. I felt a little bit of ignorance and i felt that they forgot me, because ever since i left them they started to hang out without me and never asked about me except the last time (from 2 years). one called me to ask me about how i did on my final exams in middle school. now i am alone at my school. 2 years ive been struggling making friends although i made some friends but the problem is that i cannot do anything with them like i was doing to my friends before. and now i miss them badly. I cant forget them. few more years and i will graduate without seeing them. i feel shy to DM them on Instagram as they may ignore me like before and what i want to to is to get their attention. please... please i swear i am depressed as hell. i want an advice.. |

Question: Once a child is a cruel to a small animal, they don't stop? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 07:50 AM PDT My friend is dealing with her 8 year-old cousin that's been acting cruel to frogs these past 4 months. They were the first animals she became cruel with. This is what my friend informed me about her: She catches several frogs, gets a kitchen ax, decapitates them and places the heads on jars. Then she tosses out its body. However, yesterday my friend informed me the bad news that she kicked a cat and started laughing. The mother has now set up an apt with a child psychologist. So first it was just frogs and now a cat. That was a fast escalation. So basically once a child is deliberately cruel to a smaller animal (a frog) then it'll continue escalating to a bigger one (a cat) and won't stop at all??? Her parents divorced since the girl was a toddler. She only sees her father on the weekends. The father still thinks the girl is going through a normal, childhood rebellious, exploration stage. We don't think so. The behavior just escalated from frog to a cat. |
Question: Was this a good way to stop my classmates from heckling me? Posted: 24 Sep 2019 06:46 AM PDT I had to give a speech in one of my high school classes. The jocks in the class who had a negative IQ thought it would be fun to heckle me during my speech. They would ask questions that had nothing to do with my speech. One of them ask "Is it OK for men to have multiple wives"? I wanted to shut them up for good so I said. "Only if you are hung so that leaves you out doesn't it shorty"? The class erupted in laughter and I was not heckled again. Was that a good way to stop the heckling? |
Question: Was this domestic abuse and could I possibly be dramatic? Posted: 23 Sep 2019 11:11 PM PDT well it happened today and I'm an 18 year old girl but my step dad basically grabbed my arm and squeezed it because I said I wanted to leave and I started grabbing clothes we had previously got in a fight but it was mostly one sided I don't say much to him. But once I pulled away from him pulling my arm trying to kinda like drag me? I don't know what he was really trying to do and I told him to let go I immediately started crying and he picked me up and pretended to throw me down the stairs or kinda off the ledge because I live in a two story house as soon as I started crying more he put me down probably realizing what he had done. I ran back to my room and started crying. My mom basically came out her room and they started arguing. But I'm just wondering if maybe I'm being dramatic but I was truly really scared of him. And I don't know if I'm being dramatic now that it's over. And what that could be considered idk :( but I've had a history w/ him! he definitely mentally abused me since I was young and I'm sure and that's what made me so scared every time we got in a fight that he would soon do something like this and he did and idk if that's why I got so scared! |
Question: How do you learn to be alone and not worry about dying alone? Posted: 23 Sep 2019 09:12 PM PDT Im 22 and im at the stage in my life where im questioning the relationships that I have with my friends that ive known for 10 years since high school and I can start to imagine how these relationships aren't going to last. From a friend moving to N.Y. in a year or 2. Another constantly lying about showing up for things we planned but either shows up 3 hours late or borrows me and constantly passes the deadline for when I would get the money back, Im struggling financially and so is he but i feel like never picking up the phone for him anymore. And lots of them smokes weed and that's all we do when we hang out. Im thinking of taking a break for a year (to expensive, it's a luxury) but this situation is going to drastically change our dynamic. I'm more introverted then them and recently only do my work or hang out with my gf. My point is Im trully realizing how fragile friendship and how people come and go and im worried of dying alone even though for the most part I'd rather hang out with myself. |
Question: Why would my friend say that? Posted: 23 Sep 2019 08:16 PM PDT So I have a 13yr old friend who's about to turn 14 and she's going nuts about how she can't wait to get a job and I ask her why she always says, "I don't want to be home anymore." What exactly does that mean? |
