Every time my boyfriend comes to my house, he tells me how tired he is by 9-10 o'clock but then goes back to his house and wants to call me like two hours later? Does this make sense at all, because he does this a lot :/ and he manages to have energy and party late with his friends until 1 in the morning but can't stand to just chill with me. There's this girl who I am dating now, but how it happened was kind of spontaneous and might not have been the best thing choice for me to make for her sake. She has a lot going on with regards to mental health problems (body dysmorphia / bolemic, even suicidal ideation) and had to drop out of school to take break semester. I ended up dating her because I started hanging out with her just as a friend to be there for her and caught feelings for her. She felt the same way and asked me, so I either could have completely stopped talking to her or actually start dating her because I've dealt with the gray zone before, it hurts too much... We've spent quite a bit of time together at university, and are always a duo in any classes we have together; he would ask me to get food between classes, walk me to my car, etc. But recently, he's been acting funny. He no longer asks to grab food, doesn't walk me to my car, and is almost ignoring me? I mean he always responds if I contact him first, but has overall just become distant. Part of me believes that it's because I made him feel embarrassed or rejected in some way. I think this because when we first hung out again after break, he was REALLY expressing to me how over being single he was, and almost seemed like he was trying to fish something from me. I didn't admit my feelings to him there (when I probably should of), because my mind wasn't in the right place. And ever since then, he's been behaving this way. He's putting on a "whatever-I-don't-care" kind of attitude, but I know it's fake because that same day we hung out he told me that I did mean something to him (but didn't specify how), and if ever I pretend to have my feelings hurt (as a joke) he'll be concerned. It's like he's put me at the back of his mind, or is at least trying to, and doesn't or "forgets to," extend invites and stuff like that anymore. Why is he doing this? |
