Question: Why is everything horrible now? Posted: 19 Sep 2019 05:09 PM PDT This year has been the worst I've lost everything and this site has gotten worse too. the new look and when I click on my questions it goes straight to the bottom answer and not the top why? |
Question: Should I hang out with them? Posted: 19 Sep 2019 04:20 PM PDT My good friend invited me to hang out for her birthday. Recently, some people I called friends turned on me, lied behind my back, and threw me out like trash. Not knowing of the drama, my good friend invited one of those people. I want to attend the hang out to be there for my friend, but I don't want to be around that old friend of mine, one because it would be awkward for everyone and two because I really don't want to talk to/become friendly with that person. What do I do? |
Question: Is this a good first date idea and how to ask her out? Posted: 19 Sep 2019 03:45 PM PDT I want to take this girl to a place where you do different obstacles in the trees. Some are easy and some are hard and you can go high in the trees. It is super safe and a good little exercise and fun at the same time. I was going to talk to her a bit first and then say "Hey i have a place i want to take you, would you go?" And she will probably say where And then tell her what place and what we will be doing. Is that a good thing to say? |

Question: I hate living in college? Posted: 19 Sep 2019 02:04 PM PDT My school requires me to live there and I'm the introvert type which means I can't open myself up and make friends. I am also not very good at this 'independence' thing. In fact, I hate it. I feel lost at school. While everyone is going out with their friends I'm in my room alone When I talk to people, I feel very fake |
Question: Would this be a lame thing to do for my cousins birthday? Posted: 19 Sep 2019 01:21 PM PDT Ok so my older cousin is turning 38 in a few days and I'm skint. Even though we are close family I don't see much of her if that makes sense, maybe we are not that close. Anyway she's very young in her ways she has a younger boyfriend, no kids and is very sociable/popular, quite gothic/rock and roll in her style. I was looking for a new birthday card in my house to give her (save me spending) and found one but its like something you would give to a 90 year old. It has a picture of a big tea pot with flowers round it and says 'have a nice cup of tea'. She drinks everything but tea..vodka alcohol etc. Plus its deep pink..she hates the colour pink. It was so inappropriate that I laughed and tossed it to one side. However after second thoughts I was thinking of being brave and writing inside it 'sorry couldn't find a different card I'm on budget but its your birthday you can drink what the **** you want'. Or would this be lame/seem like I don't care ? |
Question: Do we stay friends or end it? Posted: 19 Sep 2019 01:14 PM PDT Started off as friends. Talked everyday about everything and anything. We go out for drinks, dinners, laugh, hook up. He's in a relationship he's not happy with. I express my love and interest to him says he's sorry and wants to stay friends. That he can't lose our friendship and what we have. Is it best to move on? |
Question: I wish I had good social skills where can can I learn these skills? Posted: 19 Sep 2019 12:23 PM PDT Like I don't know how to hold a full conversation with someone I hold know how to make small talk and I wish I could get a girl friend |
Question: How do I react to "fake" supporters and friends? Posted: 19 Sep 2019 06:42 AM PDT I recently held a cancer awareness event in my community. Of course, lots of people said they were going to come out - a lot of people who are super close to me for years - and they just didn't show up. That's totally fine!! My boss even promised to foot the bill for our custom t-shirts - that NEVER happened and even though I'm super disappointed, I'm over expecting him to help me with anything in the future. It just gets awkward facing people now who bailed on my big event after telling me for MONTHS that they would help. It's almost like some of them are avoiding me because they know they let me down. How do I react to them now, knowing they're al talk and no action? I had people I barely even know helping me more than I needed, so I don't even care if my year-long friends/co-workers bailed on me. How do I react to these disappointing people? I can tell there's tension between me and a few of them because they know they let me down :( |
Question: Roommate always put me down in convo with friends? Posted: 19 Sep 2019 03:31 AM PDT So my roommate has a really big personality but every time I'll be talking to my friends she'll interrupt me or put me down. It's wicked rude and for some reason she always has to be the one talking. I would be telling a story and she'll completely cut me off and talk over me and when I will try to get back on subject with my friends she just interrupt me again?! I feel so awkward having to explain to my friends **** when she puts me down or having to have a convo-I don't understand I make it obvious that is rude. What should I do? |
Question: How can I stop resenting my friend after he passed me over for sex? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 11:31 PM PDT How can I stop resenting my friend for passing me over for sex? We were making out one night, at his place and I thought one thing would lead to the other, instead half way through the making out (we were also kind of drunk), he told me to stop because it would ruin our friendship. It has been months since this happened, but now every time he complains about not having had sex in a while or have time to, or the fact that he says that any girl will do, he doesn't have to like them, makes me resent him. In a way I feel like telling him he had his chance right there with me and he didn't take it, so what is he complaining about? I want to be his friend but I can't help resenting him for it. |
Question: Should I go out with my friend? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 08:42 PM PDT I'm a 21 year old guy. I recently became friends with a 48 year old woman. I met her on a friends social media page and she is also a customer at the store I work at. Here's the deal, we became friends about a month ago. Recently, she's started to hit on me and I've been flirting back. She makes jokes about our age difference. She's like my biggest fan. It's crazy. Anyhow, would it hurt to go out with her? She is pretty and a very cool person. Side note, she is divorced and lives alone. Pretty much the only thing holding me back is age difference. Anyhow. I think she is a special lady. I think she may really be my person I have been looking for. She pays me a lot of attention. |
Question: Is my best friend disrespecting my mom help ? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 07:06 PM PDT Me and my Bestfriend been friends for nearly 5 years but my best friend now complains how she dislikes how my mother speaks to her my mother will see my Bestfriend and give her a dry hey and won't ask her how she been or anything my best friend said that offends her she told me if my mother had a problem with her she should just tell her. Because my Bestfriend family does treat me like second family when they see me they will be very excited and ask how I'm doing and have a conversation with me on the other end my mother doesn't do that to my Bestfriend. Also my Bestfriend goes on and on and explains how my mother has a nasty attitude and how she thinks my mother boyfriend is cheating on her I kinda got pissed off because she shouldn't have went to far. I understand how she feels that my mother doesn't talk to her which she doesn't but my Bestfriend mother treats me like family what should I do help ? Is my Bestfriend in the wrong ? |
