Question: Men: what does it mean when a man do this? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 09:54 PM PDT 1. Spank my butt when I walked out the door first 2. Asked me if I want to sit on his lap when we were kissing |
Question: Should my friend leave her husband because she’s gay? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 09:24 PM PDT My best friend has just come to the realization that she's gay. She grew up in a very sheltered and homophobic environment so it took her 15 years to finally except her feelings. The problem is she's married to a man and they're raising his 7 year old son and they have a 3 year old little girl together. She's worried what leaving is going to do to not only the husband but the kids as well. Their little girl is very attached to her father and she doesn't want to see her upset. Also he suffers from depression and ptsd and she's afraid he'll do something crazy to himself if she leaves. Should I tell her to just stay any make it work? Or should she leave and be happy and hope for the best? |

Question: I’m 22 and I’m scared I’m Never going to find a husband? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 08:17 PM PDT I just turned 22 and have been so depressed lately thinking about the fact that I don't even have a boyfriend and am Not engaged. I am So terrified that I am Never going to get married and it's so terrifying for me And causing so Much anxiety. I cry almost everyday. I feel like I'm pretty average looking.. I just don't understand. Most of my friends are getting married and having children. I'm so scared and depressed |
Question: Does it sound like my husband left me to have more kids? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 08:10 PM PDT After 15 years of marriage when I was 48 my husband who at the time was 43 got a divorce from me and our son was only 5. He then immediately got married to this girl we both knew got a long time who was 18. I guess he was seeing her since she was 16. That was ten years ago they now have five kids. Our son still has contact with him. I got really depressed over all this for years. I'm now over it. |
Question: My daughter's boyfriend is giving her hundreds of dollars a week. is he crazy? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 07:54 PM PDT my daughter's boyfriend is 37 and she is 27. he lives at home with his grandmother. i don't know why he does that. he can be saving for his future and a downpayment on a house but he's giving her money so she can splurge on expensive clothes, makeup, and whatever else her spoiled self wants. i checked her account because we share an account due to her not having a license they wouldnt let her have her own account i know i cant tell that man how to spend his money but this seems troublesome to me. does he not know how to tell her no i will not give you three hundred a week to spend on clothes. i saw everything she was buying. she has a serious spending problem. she was spending fourteen a week on paper towels at target. I had a talk with her boyfriend he needs to stop giving her all this money and save up for a house because this is crazy. he can't even get his own place because of all this nonsense.. i told her boyfriend he can give her fiftya month. my daughter scoffed and said " that's not enough. I like luxury. he won't listen to you. youre wasting your breathe." and i said " fine by me. nintenty percent of marriages end up in divorce because of financial reasons. he will grow to resent you because of this. just wait." |

Posted: 18 Sep 2019 05:35 PM PDT He's always like "haha she trapped him, he's whipped, she's gonna take all of his money and divorce him and take the kids" and thinks all of my friends are idiots for getting married and thinks all of their girlfriends are money hungry cheating ho's. I have a boyfriend who I love dearly I'm afraid to tell my dad about because he'll think marrying him is a waste of time and he'll say that i'll cheat on him and take all of his money |

Posted: 18 Sep 2019 04:17 PM PDT Together 4 years and ended a year ago in a terrible fight. I flew home while on vacation and packed his belongings and dropped them off to his mothers and filed for a divorce. We emailed and texted here and there over the first few months and expressed that we loved each other, but we had become bad to each other. About a month ago, he was drinking and caked me. He said he had run into a homeless person we once helped together. He said he thought it was a sign. He expressed how much he missed me and that I was the one and why didn't I fight for him. I told him I loved him and always will, but we had become terrible to each other. We cried and spoke about good times and talked for 3 hours. He asked to meet me one day soon and I declined, saying to much had happened. We both were jealous and I don't know how we would move forward from a year apart. I emailed him on his moms birthday to say happy birthday and wanted him to call me so I could say happy birthday to her when he had the chance. She is ill. He never responded. I tried to take back the divorce filing and talk to him for 7 months before it went through. Now it's been 15 months since I boarded that flight that changed our lives forever. |
Question: Why are so many people in relationships and married to completely dysfunctional people? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 03:50 PM PDT I read some divorce story threads on Reddit and can't believe that some of these women are actually married to these men and that these types of men actually exist. Stories of men raping their children, setting their wives on fire, holding a gun to their wives head, extreme alcohol and drug use, abusing their children and telling them to eat feces, completely ignoring their wives, never home, complete immaturity letting video game addiction ruin their marriages, like seriously? How do these women even fall for men like this? Why would you even marry a man like this? The writing is on the wall from day one, if you can't see it, you're blind with these types of men. And then I see all of these guys who are hopelessly single who are great guys, wouldn't hurt a kitten, good looking, wealthy, educated, and can't even get a date. And then there are tons of women who marry guys who own 10 guns, do heroin, hold a knife to their throat, and abuse them. Blows my mind |

Question: Should I divorce my husband? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 09:53 AM PDT I've been married for almost two years and my husband has not only had a baby on me but also gave me two stds that thank god we're curable. He has cheated on me countless times and does not bring in nearly enough money for us to be able to live and therefore he is always dependent on me. The only reason I am thinking of staying is because I was told that marriages can be rough and I did vow for better or worse but I am only 28 and he is 29. Aside from all the pain he has caused me we have of course had our good moments and we still do but what he has done weighs heavy on me. What should I do. I should also mention that his mom is sick and because he doesnt make enough I would be obligated not only to her but to his child as well when his mistress puts him on child support. |
Question: Why does the pastor says this everytime someone gets married? Please read details below.? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 09:50 AM PDT Why does the pastor says "If anyone doesn't want this couple to be together, speak now or forever hold your peace."? Does anyone really have the power to stop the wedding like that? I don't quite understand. |
Posted: 18 Sep 2019 09:42 AM PDT When I first met my wife in 2001 I didn't know she had intimacy issues. She was 20 and she had a crush on me so intimacy wasn't much of an issue (I was 19). The crush faded when she moved in with me a few months later. She liked me but she was having second thoughts about staying since her feelings faded; but then she found out she was pregnant with our first child together (she was supposed to be on the pill - she wasn't). So here she is with this baby and her fear of intimacy was finally showing through her crush since it ended. She ended up staying with me as a couple into 2004 when we finally got married; we've been married ever since but without me being rapey and asserting myself on her she doesn't have any intimate moments with me any more. She claims I can "have it whenever I want it" but she rejects ALL of my advances (emotional, physical, sexual, and through romance). She just can't be touched and she doesn't want sex (she doesn't even masturbate, unless doing accounting spreadsheets gives her an orgasm and I don't know it does). I'm not sure what to do any more. She's 38 and she's PURPOSELY made herself so busy (we both work full time jobs) that she's emotionally and physically unavailable for me or our 4 kids. The time she does have free she spends it alone OR she takes the whole family to a vacation getaway (I still get NO one on one time with her). Even in the morning, when everyone is asleep and we have the house to ourselves, she remains asexual. Help! |
Question: Step Parent or Step Mom? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 09:38 AM PDT Does she have any right to my kids when they live with me cause I have the physical custody of the kids.? Just because watching a movie called The Walking Dead with my daughter who is only 12 yrs. old. She is use it. She doesn't like scary movies and I do. Question: Would my estranged husband be able to enter my new home if he has never lived in it? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 04:34 AM PDT I just got a new home for my brothers family and mine, minus estranged spouse. I had separate assets pre-marriage and purchased the land from that with the clear intent for him to NOT move in. Dower rights waived. He is kissing butt (it s a pattern) believing he can weasel back into the family. Doesnt want to "get it" and thinks he can come and go as he pleases despite very angry demands to not do so. Like, I say leave and he smiles and tries to "sweetly?" Say ok and try to walk in. Like wtf? Bye!? Restraining order? Hello? I have 2 children from a previous relationship. He has an explosive temper over non existent "events" (i.e. I m 3 minutes later then usual, must have had sex w/ coworker in parking lot) or exploding when asked where $400 cash went and causing overdrafts. Absolutely ridiculous and crazy psycho. Told me to kill myself, went on a rampage over a dropped call, stated he would beat my kids if he felt like it, etc... Found out he has been doing pills, smoking weed and God knows what else, while I m working at a prison nonetheless. On top of that, an issue of gluttony... constantly ordering and eating whole pizzas and 2 liters in a single sitting when there isnt money for it and food in the frig... make a salad? Since I got this job he has been acting like we are rich all of a sudden on a low mid class income and partying while I m away... So, of course I got out of dodge.... or trying to ditch satan at least. Police wont do anything until violence occurs |
Question: My family is complicated? Is this common? Posted: 18 Sep 2019 03:15 AM PDT So what originally wigged me out was finding out my mom and wife's dad are getting married. They announced this like just last month. I had been thinking about it a lot since then. I am currently stoned out of my gourd and can't stop thinking about my whole family situation. Okay here let me try to figure out how to explain everything. I am stoned so be patient. Okay so my dad hasn't been in the picture much of my life. I'm the youngest child I have two older sisters. I married my beautiful wife 10 years ago. My mom and "Step dad" met through my wife and I . My wife already had a 14 year old daughter when I met her who is now 24. To add to the weirdness of my mom and wife's dad getting married I also have a niece who is 26, my oldest sisters daughter. My Niece and my wife's daughter ended up getting married 4 years ago. I've never considered my wife's daughter to be my daughter because her biological father is very much in the picture and she just calls me by my name. So my niece and my wife's daughter marrying didn't faze me. I never thought about it that deeply. But now in retrospect after the engagement announcement I'm like going "Whoa, my whole family unit is kinda messed up." None of it is technically incest by blood, but it still gets all sorts of wonky and I don't know how I've never thought of this before. I hope if I sleep it off it'll stop bugging me. So anyways, anyone else have weird family units like this, or am I unusual? |
