Question: I hate my parents beach house. What do I do when I have to go there? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 01:00 PM PDT Their neighbors I especially hate and being separated from the extended family. I hate all of it and now I found out we have to have Thanksgiving there from now on away from extended families. I'm so upset and hate their friends there. What do I do? My mother is addicted to the place. I like the beach but not the losers my parents make us be with there. One even slept with a married man. |

Question: Why are fat women hated on so much? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 12:27 PM PDT I use to be thin until my teen years I was slightly overweight, and all i get was negative comments and looks from people. Some relatives told my mom I was fat, and when I lost weight people change. One person said to me any guy lucky to be with me since I am thin and pretty, and I did get more male attention. But i never understand why people dislike fat so much. |
Question: If I stop speaking to my mother , will it really help anything ? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 11:22 AM PDT I feel like I need to cut my mother out of my life for at least a few months ... we have never gotten along she didn't raise me my grandparents and father did , she is super manipulative and mentally abusive . I moved out of her house once I turned 18 Because I was miserable I'm now 21 and now I don't even live with her and she makes me a miserable wreck everyday ? I don't even know if cutting her out of my life for the time being will help ? I know as soon as I let it be known if I choose to distance myself she's going to threaten me and or try to make me feel bad . I've asked her to go to counciling with me , etc and she has always refused . I just don't know what to do at this point |
Question: How to stop my mom from guilt tripping me? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 09:55 AM PDT My mom raised me to never say no to adults and to always obey her. Now that I am an adult (21) I can see that her way of raising me was very toxic. I'm currently in college, I have a part time job making $10hr ($70 dollars a week), and I'm paying for my own tuition (my mother does not contribute). Whenever I get paid, my mom always asks me for money, knowing that I have bills and expenses that I have to pay too. Whenever I can't give her money, she always calls me ungrateful, and that she'd do anything for me, and that she didn't have to take care of me, etc. It always makes me feel bad, but I can't keep loaning her money, when she doesn't loan it back. We use CashApp to loan each other money, and I've sent her over $500 in the last 10 months. She's only sent me $160 (altogether). Is there a way that I can stop her from guilt tripping me? |
Question: Abandoning their grandchildren???? What to do?!? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 09:39 AM PDT I have 2 sons, and my sister has a son. All are babies. I live couple of minutes drive from my parents, while my sister lives 40 mins from them. Yet, my parents are always going to my sister house to spend time (even spending nights), but never come to mine. How should I behave? Should I open my mouth? |
Question: Is my sister's husband's (my brother-in-law) sister any relation to me? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 09:30 AM PDT I know that she is my sister's sister-in-law. I assume she is not my sister-in-law and there is no term for her. |
Question: My mum keeps threatening me...? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 07:28 AM PDT Ok...so I am 38 and my mum has always been toxic...about a month ago i got engaged to my bf of 2 years and she was making nasty comments because she finds him ugly and he is not wealthy...I was ok with that,I told her I respect her opinion and if she doesn't want to be by my side it's her right but I can make my own choices about my life so I stopped visiting ...then she started calling me and leaving messages ,calling me names and threatening me that I cannot imagine what she will do to me and that she will talk to a lawyer...her problem now is that she wants me to sign some papers to put the name she and my dad bought for me 3 years ago,the house is on my name and I paid 1/3 of the price...I tried talking to her calmly but she keeps calling me names (*****, useless etc)and says that I have no family ,she only wants the house back and all the money she paid for my studies 20 years ago...I'm so depressed,I can't believe I'm hearing all this from my own mother...I really don't know what to do... |
Question: How can I get him to understand he needs help (that's not me)?? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 07:18 AM PDT My husband was sexually abused for a huge portion of his childhood and only recently told anyone when he found out the guy had passed away. Since he told me I havent been sure how to act about it or around him and we've been getting into a lot of fights. He's angry and lashing out all the time and it wasnt like this until all of this unfolded. I have tried to express to him that he needs to talk to a therapist or counselor bc typically he talks to me about a lot of these things which usually ends up with me saying something wrong or not reacting to things he tells me properly. We've had tons of conversations where I have express to him that I am not skilled or equipped enough to help him cope with the things he tells me but he just gets defensive and say stuff like "if you dont care about me just say you dont care about me" which couldnt be further from truth. He insists that his behavior lately is completely unrelated to his abuse or what's happened since. And insists that he's dealt with it his own way and doesnt need therapy and that he's "fine". Again, I dont really know what to do to help him, or convince him to get the help since he's so stubborn. His parents agree but his 22 so they cant really force him either. Pls dont be mean, and try to be understanding. |
Posted: 28 Sep 2019 04:23 AM PDT Me she sees but for some reason does not seem to be insulting me very much (I am sure she does some). The only complaint she seems to have about me is that I have a relationship with the family members my Mom hates just as much as the ones she likes. My mother has 6 kids. The youngest she never gets to see except once a year so she never complains about him and likely longs for him. She seems to like me cause I never married and am slow in life (growing up was learning disabled). Also I never married, my sibs did except the youngest. She dislikes her two daughters in law, one with passion. Her son in law she does not mind. So my question is how do I handle being her favorite child out of 6, or tied for favorite. It gets exhausting to hear her speak of her hatred for her daughters in law and her complaints about her other kids. I feel nervous also knowing I must not be perfect so she must complain about me also. |

Posted: 28 Sep 2019 03:30 AM PDT I am a 15 year old girl. I am being forced to wear a bra because of the way I am developing. My four brothers also have to wear bras at work, college, doing laundry. My parents are bring mean to us what can I do about it. I am also bathed by my parents carried from the bedroom to the kitchen by my daddy for breakfast everyday. |
Question: I got beat up by a little bully kid at front of my fiancee and her sister? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 02:28 AM PDT Few days ago I had an awful experience because I was beaten and humiliated by a bully kid, who is about 14-15 years old, and I am 38. I have never been a tough guy, never fight, in fact kind of a wimp I have always been, but I definitely didn't suppose in what a trouble I was getting in at the certain moment. We were outside with my fiancee and her younger sister. We just entered a big park in the city we live when a kid on a skateboard approached and he almost crushed over my fiancee's sister, but jumped from the skateboard to avoid the accident. He got angry and burped twice very loudly totally at the front of her face. So I called him little peasant and he should get ashamed about this awful and rude manner. I really didn't expect the poor situation of myself which followed because a much older than him, well dressed man, with a suit, I am always classy and smart dressed, a dandy guy I am, is making him a remark about his behavior, so I really expected he will feel ashamed. But this little ruffian obviously didn't care about. At the very next moment he punched me on my mouth with a fist and my glasses flew away by the punch, then another fist punch followed in my eye and I just felt on the ground. Both ladies started screaming and I started wipe my bloody lip with a handkerchief. Calling me sissy he made me clean his shoes with my hankie and I just did it. He laughed and kept call me sissy and then he punched my nose really hard and I collapsed crying for mercy. .... Then the bruiser shouted me do I still think he is peasant, kicking my ribs. In tears I screamed he is not and I am so sorry so he just spitted over me and disappeared. The very awful fact was that nobody around helped me and stopped the beating, even more - I heard laughs around. My pitiful situation amused the people around. It is true that there is some fun in case a 38 years old dandy guy is crying of be beaten by a little kid, but in fact I am not a fighter, My fiancee helped me to stand up and to sit on the nearest bench. My face was in blood, my dress shirt, tie, even my dress pants were bloody. Two white cotton handkerchiefs became bloody red because of the bleeding. We called the police then and gave them description of the bully kid. I feel and I know my baby loves me but her sister calls me wimp. |
Posted: 27 Sep 2019 11:36 PM PDT I sent Glenda Ramsey King, my dad's former girlfriend a few messages on Facebook... To try to reestablish a connection. I figure this... What am I afraid of ? Some half dead, unhealthy, diabetes infested redneck fatso ? I don't think so. What really is the worst that can happen ? That back when my dad was alive, about a year and a half before he died... That He and all his bullshit found himself a real redneck stupid a)ss piece of 150th rate.. Rat filth of a w)h0re ? Come on. There is nothing that she has in store for me... That she isn't, and hasn't done to herself. So she can call me whatever she wants. Because whatever she does call me.... She is. Lol I know everything that she is going to say. If she does... I don't give a f)uck... Because it's an easy fix. Just hit the Block button. :) |
Question: I smashed my computers!!!? Posted: 27 Sep 2019 09:10 PM PDT So I have two Early 2008 20 inch iMacs and a Late 2009 27 inch iMac. The 2008 ones are slow and the 2009 one wont turn on. I've had it and I used a crowbar and smashed open the 2009 one and I took the graphics card out and smashed it into the toilet and flushed it then I pried open both 2008 iMacs with my crowbar and ripped the power supply out with the crowbar and took my baseball bat and beat it and smashed it to bits and it felt so good then I used the same crowbar and hacked out the motherboard out of all 3 computers then I beat the cpu and the rest of the motherboard with the baseball bat and I was laughing evilly while doing this then i took the hard drive out of all 3 computers and used my screwdriver and stabbed all 3 of them hard until it was broken then I took the optical drive and smashed all 3 of them together hard then I took the RAM out of the beaten motherboard and chewed on it until it bent then I beat the screens of all 3 computers until they were all cracked glass mess |
Question: My parents make feel like crap? Posted: 27 Sep 2019 08:29 PM PDT So today, we went to the beach for my birthday, and my parents kind of spoiled it for me. So, my mom, for the last two years, has always been in a bad mood around or on my birthday which really bothers me, I've either cried on or after my birthday for the last two years, because when she's mad she snaps and takes it out on me. She was in a bad mood last year for our vacation (again, on my birthday) and the year before she yelled at me and got really angry at me for something really stupid on my birthday. So anyway, today she was in a bad mood of course, she barely spoke to me.. and really random, but my car has been needing a new 02 sensor and I've been asking my dad for months now to replace it and I asked him he would take one day for my birthday to just get it in. He got all pissed and wouldn't speak to me for an hour afterwards?? My family just makes me feel like a worthless piece of sh*t. My brother was complaining the whole time how I dragged the family out to the beach, and how he would have rather stayed home then come out. So we're trying to figure out what we want for dinner, my parents say that I should pick so I say I want Mexican. They all reject it and ended up choosing a place that suited what they want more. Just really made me feel bad. I was hoping it'd be a fun, special day out at the beach for my birthday, but instead I felt like I dragged everyone out to do something they didn't really want to do.. :( |
Question: What can I say when my narcissistic mom randomly touches me (like my neck, stomach)? Posted: 27 Sep 2019 07:50 PM PDT I'm an adult woman trying to move out. Until then I'm trying to keep the peace and also not give narcissistic supply. I'm pretty much gray rock. I don't give a crap. But she needs to know I'm not her personal puppet doll she can randomly touch for no reason. I'm not into over-reacting but how can I set boundaries? Just asking for ideas because as a child of two narcissistic parents, these types of things where you enforce boundaries, speak up for yourself, say 'no' are things I'm not used to. Thank you. |
Question: My step dad is very abusive?? Posted: 27 Sep 2019 07:35 PM PDT my mom died 5 years before i was born so my step father is taking care of me and he abuses me everyday, what do i do?? |
Question: What do you think of this situation and what should I do? Posted: 27 Sep 2019 07:19 PM PDT Ok so my grandparents came to visit and went back to their country and I feel like I didn't show them respect when they came and were living with us and now I regret it and I feel they will take the way I treated them with them because and I didn't make them feel at home while they were living with us and they won't feel at home in their country Because I would sometimes say some stuff that's biased and act biased with my actions and I feel like my grandparents feel as if they don't belong and feel different and will feel different and will feel like they don't belong wherever they go. What do you think of this situation and what should I do? |
Question: I m afraid to go home? Posted: 27 Sep 2019 03:48 PM PDT Because of my brother. He s an alcoholic and he relapsed three days ago. My brother is an angry drunk and he has attacked my family before. I have ptsd from him and afraid that he ll attack me and I won t be able to stop it. My parents are enablers and don t want to kick him out. Idk what to do |
Question: When is it more painful to lose a child? Posted: 27 Sep 2019 03:06 PM PDT I had a debate with my friend about this hours ago. She claims small funeral are worse because the parent never got to see them grow up. I think the opposite. The older the child the worse. What do you think? Is it worse to lose a child when they're babies, very young kids, in their teens, adults or much older? My own great-grandmother lost her oldest child (grandfather) a couple years ago. He died of cancer at age 72 and she was 89 at the time. Right now she's 92 and she's still destroyed. She questions god frequently why him and not her, why she's still alive, etc. |
Question: Why don't I do homework anymore? Posted: 27 Sep 2019 03:06 PM PDT I barely don homework last year and nothin happened lol i haven't done any this year either |
