Question: Why can’t people just accept me for the way I am? Posted: 07 May 2019 03:14 PM PDT I'm in high school and during lunch I just sit by myself. People keep judging me for that and they think I'm weird . The teachers all pity me and think I'm "lonely". Why can't these people just leave me alone? Am I attracting too much attention?
Question: Should I confront my best friend about not getting me a birthday present this year? Posted: 07 May 2019 03:03 PM PDT Let's say this friend (who you've known for years) is usually broke because she can't work very much, so whenever you go out to eat or anything like that you usually end up paying for her (which is a LOT). And anytime she does have money she spends almost all of it on herself and does not offer to pay you back for all the times you payed for her. I asked her for a birthday gift this year which is a perfume that's only $20, and that's all. She said, "We'll see because I'm broke." I never got anything from her. But every year she has a birthday I always get her something nice. I'm frustrated because I always treat her and this year I got nothing. I know friendship isn't about how much you spend on each other, but it is annoying. Should I ask her about it, or would that be unwise?
Question: How to make friends in high school ? Posted: 07 May 2019 09:36 AM PDT Hey I'm currently a junior (11th grade) I transferred in the middle of school year well almost on the end of the year and I really want to make friends but I'm too shy and I overthink too much. I haven't made any friends yet and I always sit by myself at lunch & I have a feeling that I'm not going to any friends next year in senior year & for senior year it should be a fun year and I would really want to have a good time/memory for next year... Any advice for a shy overthinking person or something ?
Question: Is this an unforgivable thing to do to a friend? Posted: 07 May 2019 07:32 AM PDT Say you hung out with someone in highschool. A few years later they have a kid, and reach out to you, and say they need diapers, and baby food. And you offer them your pin so that they can buy what they need, but than they go on an $800 spending spree

Question: What does it mean "agreeing with those who bully you and make fun of you"? Posted: 07 May 2019 06:17 AM PDT I did talk to a childhood about a couple of my friends from college. So my childhood friend told me that these friends aren't your real friends.... They aren't right for you... They basically agree with all those people who make fun of you and bully you.
Question: Would you do this to a kind friend? Posted: 07 May 2019 06:02 AM PDT My friend knows all about me; I take care of my ill father who needs 24 hour care everyday. I handle everything for him. I buy what is good for him and his condition My friend was ill or is currently still ill and did not tell me about this I have known this friend for 25 years She is 65 years old I have reached out to her to see if there is anything I can do for her to provide support to her especially during this time, 2 month recovery after surgery, without knowing she had surgery She turned around and told me she did not want to be bothered Would you do this to your kind friend
Question: What is a fake friend exactly? Posted: 07 May 2019 04:24 AM PDT I'm not sure if I'm in that situation or not. How do you know if the person is a fake friend or not?
Question: Insults for Nitravion? Posted: 07 May 2019 04:08 AM PDT I have this friend named Nitravion and I like to make fun of his name. What creative ways can you all think of for making fun of him. (I've attached a picture of him for reference)
Question: My intuition wrong or my friend acting shady? Posted: 07 May 2019 02:31 AM PDT College student here! My friend has a boyfriend, who she s always busy with. I m her go to for her problems or anything, and I m always available to listen, and there for her. But it doesn t always feel reciprocated. In fact, she acts like I talk too much, when I don t think I do. I m just single and trying to have fun and do me, but somehow she finds like memes or tweets and snapchats of the friend who comes over and talks about an ex and the other girl sits down waiting for her to finish so she can tell her no. This has happened maybe three or four times but we ve talked about so much more, and I ve told her I don t want a boyfriend at this Time at all, because I think its dumb, but whenever she does text me (barelY) but mostly just snaps of her face or bagging about her looks, how good she is, digging for compliments, she kind of disappears after. She has been there for me as a friend but really selectively. I don t know. She s a little immature, really caught up in her life. But would somebody help out? More like she IS a friend but busy. But how busy can a person be that they send three snapchats a day? I don't know. this is why I ask you guys
Question: Is it something to be ashamed of?Why do you think she felt uncomfortable? Posted: 06 May 2019 11:34 PM PDT Today while playing badminton my younger sister told me that her friend felt uncomfortable in my presence and blamed me for the way she felt. I feel so bad about myself.I feel guilty and shameful. Idk why she felt uncomfortable? Could it be my looks.... Well i believe im far from ugly... And many people told me that i look good.
Question: My ex best friend is coming back to my high school, what should I do? Posted: 06 May 2019 09:38 PM PDT I broke up with my best friend of 5 years about 7 months ago, and at that time she also had transferred to another high school (prior to break up). now I have seen her since at our mutual friend's bday party and we were friendly but didn't know how we stood relationship-wise. she has reached out to me trying to re-establish a friendship of some sort, but has failed to show me that she has changed. Recently, she has told me that she is coming back to my high school in less than a month and I don't know what to do. should I try to re kindle our friendship* (note that I would have to confront her and set new rules in order to not relive the past), or fake it and just endure her company my senior year? finding a new friend group is off the table, our mutual friends are much too valuable to lose. * I don't know how she would react to me be truly honest with her, since she has been known to share information and get people to side with her. My biggest fear is that I might lose my other friends. I trust them but I don't trust her (ex friend).
Question: My friend broke my computer, does she have to pay for it?!? Posted: 06 May 2019 09:08 PM PDT So I was having a problem with my iMac and it wouldn't boot right and it was a hard drive problem according to the computer's disc utility app in recovery mode. So my friend was helping me and said she'll help and she helped me open the computer, and she took the motherboard out and took the fans out and flushed them down the toilet and stabbed my motherboard with a pencil. then she said its fixed and started laughing and my computers broken and she kept laughing. she said it was a joke then just left. my computer is trashed now. what do i do
Question: I dont have a single friend since i graduated high school? Posted: 06 May 2019 08:33 PM PDT I was always the loner type. But i did have 2 close friends in high school. But sadly, i lost contact with them like 2 years ago. So know i have no friends. And it feels like im going insane because i have no one to talk too? My parents speak a different language. I only speak English at work with my coworkers. And know i feel like im forgetting my English?
Question: Should I reach out to my ex-bestfriend? Posted: 06 May 2019 07:59 PM PDT So I had a huge fallout with one of my best friends from high school who I had a crush on. Out of jealousy of her trying to get back with her cheating ex-bf, I started talking badly about her behind her back. She found out later and thus the fallout. Theres more that happend between us as a result of someone else's intrusion but thats another story. Few years later I sent her a long text explaining and apologizing for everything. She replied once saying: "I forgive you. Just from here on. Live your life and forget about me. Okay. In my part as well I am sorry. But I don't think I can be around you. But I do forgive you. Goodbye" I left it at that. I later found out from a mutual friend that she wasn't really over it. Fast forward a few years later to now, same mutual friend tells me that she's leaving out of state for college in a few months. Suddenly I felt like reaching out her again. I started thinking that the last goodbye wasn't good enough and this maybe my last chance to make things right between us properly and face to face. Its frustrating having to think about this again. What should I do?
