My friend is turning 19 in a few weeks, she was raped and due to that she now has a 3 year old beautiful daughter. Lately her mom has threaten her about taking custody of my friends daughter. All because my friends mom wants the 3 year old to see her father and fathers family. My friend don't want her daughter seeing that man because of what he did to her. He can't get no where near my friend. So the other option would be sending the little girl to where he is. Mind you my friend moved out a few months ago and is in a happy relationship. Can my friends mom actually get custody of my friends daughter?

Okay so I have this friend that I have been friends with for awhile and we are super close (we'll call her Leia). Well she started calling me her brother recently and saying that I was like a brother to her and she loves me (don't worry this isn't a weird friendzone thing lol we are genuinely just good friends). Well she has this other friend that she refers to as her best friend. She calls me her brother but this other friend her best friend. Needless to say I got a bit jealous thinking she likes him as a friend more than me? Especially since he is a newer friend? Am I being stupid? Am I closer to her than this guy since she refers to me as her brother? Please help?

She notices every detail, if I get a new phone or cut my hair, and she admitted that she stalked one of my friend's friends on Facebook. She is like this with everyone I think because she gets bored. I know it's harmless and she doesn't mean harm, but for some reason it bothers me that she notices all these things. Why does it? How do I stop it letting get to me

I'm a guy in my early 20s. I've been friends with a girl since the fall. We met through work but have since parted ways. A few months ago she switched work places, and she started to text me less and hang out less, until she was too "busy" to see me. So I had to respect that and move on. Just this month, I reconnected with her on social media. Found out we both like to jog. So I asked her to jog and 2 weeks ago we did. I told her it was great to see her and catch up. I felt like we connected better than ever. I haven't heard anything since. Truth is, I think she's the coolest, cutest chick ever. Not sure how she feels. I want to date her. Part of me says "speak the truth, or make your peace some other way". I'll probably destroy any friendship left if I do this. Any ideas? How do I say it if I do? I wanted to just ask her out in a dating way to begin with but our work place prohibited it so I had to ask her to "hang out". Not sure if she took it that way or not. Insult to injury, I became good friends with her whole family. So I'll prob lose them if I do this.

Example: Person A ranted about Person B who hurt him in the past. A indirectly vented out online about what happened in the past between them and B stepped in saying why A is still affected by it? Saying it happened years ago and it should stop. B added and assumed A's venting out is a reply to B's recent post about his/her rant towards another person that also happened in the past. Doesn't that make B have double standards? Obviously, both A and B should stop these once and for all yet I think B is getting manipulative in this situation. What do you think? Person A and Person B buried the hatchet yet it is as if B wants things to happen according to his/her way hence the double standards.

Ahe purposely changes lanes without signaling and stop on crosswalks instead of stopping behind stop bars and it's annoying because she does it on purpose, I keep telling her to stop but she doesn't listen. I can't fight her because we're friends, what should I do?

Hi I know it may sound like an obvious question but I used to be very good friends with this person. We have been friends since pre-school. I just feel that lately I am the one making contact first. We do not live in the same town but she always told me that did not matter. Could it be that I had some problems and she always told me she would be there if I wanted to talk, I did a few times but there was always reciprocation. It is just i the last year she distnaced herself and when I asked her if everything was ok she reassured me but nothing changed. The distance is still there. I told her I missed our chats and laughs together but now I feel like something is being forced. Honestly I feel rather silly as if I am chasing a friendship. I am the kind of person that is very private but feel a little hurt by this. My circle is small so maybe it is just gettin smaller idk.

I can't make friends because there's no way to meet someone on regularly basis. Meaning if u r in meet up, group u won't see them again.so there's no way to build rapport with them before going out.

Let me break it down for you as short and to the point. Basically, my friend and have have been friends for 9 years. She has always had an alcohol problem and has made many many horrible mistakes from it. I have encouraged her to get help and she has a few times, but still falls back into the trap on addiction. I have stopped communication with her in multiple times because of insane things she has done and said to me while drunk. Also, I have always sense this envy from her. She makes me feel weird for having a better than her. She has once told me " your life is handed to you on a silver platter and you don't have the same problems I face" which is entirely not true. We all have our set of struggles! So throughout the years she has racked up 3 duis, last month she got a 4th. I talked to her the first couple days about all of it. But I just can't seem to feel bad for her anymore... I feel myself always backing away from her. I just don't feel bad anymore because she is ruining her life and no one can help her at this point but herself. She then texts me this long awful message and tells me I'm never there for her and all this stuff. What she doesn't realize is that I've been there for her throughout the years and I've been treated and spoke to terribly by her... and at this point I kind of lost respect for her. Am I a bar person for being this way?

So whenever I put on make up and go out somewhere I ususally put a photo up on my story for friends to see online. Whenever I post a photo, immediately afterwards my friend will message me and ask where I'm going. I told her I was going on a date, then she was texting me for most of the night telling me she was upset and then said that she was jealous I had a date and wish she had one. This usually happens a lot as well Why did she tell me this?

My son has been friends with this person since he first went to school pretty much. But he abandoned my son recently for some other person which made him angry. This new person has just been a huge d*** to my son and his old friend keeps supporting this person while still wanting to be friends? So I've recently had a new job offer in Canada and we are moving shortly. It told him to tell his friend we're moving and he said "no, he abandoned me, so I'm going to abandon him." I've tried reasoning with him and telling him it's not fair just to leave him wondering where he went. What do I do?

Let me explain. First, I have horrible ocd so constant anxiety is always on me. Second, a coworker who I'm friends with on Facebook and talked to a lot I sent a Instagram request last year. She never accepted. So I thought maybe it didn't go through and sent it a few times. Still says requested. BUT since then I have given her s ride home once (so she got in the car with me) she hung out with a couple other friends and me at the movies once. We still talk at work sometimes and share laughs and she is always helpful about my anxiety asking me how I'm doing I just can't shake it because she did accept another coworker I saw last night when I randomly checked after a while. I just can't help but think did I do something to creep her out? She always tells me I'm a good guy and we are friends. Is it weird or bad of me to ask why she never accepted me?

Hi Friends, My female friend behaves that c hs some feelings 4 me but another time no any. 1)We know each other since a very long time. She sits with me in office even space problem to sit with me but c do adjust. C has good tuning with an our senior & c likes to sit with him more for tea time gossips. 2)That Senior & another people in office are enough to help her but she prefers me first. 3)C says that I am old fession not talkative(funny) sometimes she makes fun on me in front of her female friend. 4)C & her female friend mostly talk with each other on tea/lunch more than me. 5)I have told her strictly that I dn't like that c makes fun on me ,c told sorry and i will keep it in mind but c still makes fun on me sometime. 6)Once I to express my feeling towards her I called her at her place to meet me. I did wait a long hours but c didn't come. After this I hv tried to fully ignore her and she did d same. But in office we sit close like previous. After 2 days she called me that and asked u want to talk with me or not and why u had wait at my place I got irritate and dn't like such thinks. I gave another reason to divert She told I was angry upon you but you should say sorry. 7)Any way we are normal now. If any female trying to talk with me in office she don't like, If I talk about any my another female friends with her she goes irritate and angry and says always how you got such fussy girls oh god. 9)what feeling she has for me? I've told her countless times to leave me alone and stop contacting me, I've blocked her so many times and she makes new accounts on stuff just to message or email me, I've told her again and again to stop but she won't. One of my close friends has decided I am not worthy of being their friend because of a false rumor someone else spread about me. Then they took less than a day to also insult not only my appearance but my character. This friend now is turning others against me. I also have problems with my family at home. I don't have motivation to finish school, I don't like coming home, and I have no motivation to go anywhere anymore. I've been feeling down and I don't even have my friends or family to talk to anymore.

Even when I try to hang out with people, I lose interest kind of. I have been like this for years.

I'm 13, my best friend is 13. Her mom is threatening to kick her out of the house and if she does, she'll have nowhere to go but my house. We've been friends for about four years, and she's been here for me through everything. She's my rock. I hardly get to see her since she's an hour away, and if she stayed with us, it'd only be for the summer. She and I help eachother take care of ourselves (we both have mdd, and really only care about each other's health.) she'd be getting out of an abusive household and be coming into a loving one. She's more responsible than me, and honestly I think my mom loves her. I know it could add extra financial strain, and I know other cons. But I really want her to be safe.

me and my other "friend" were friends I guess until today. we both play video games and he was actually playing with his other friend which was a friend of mine (kinda) he had a live stream and I thought it was cool so I decided to watch it. when I joined the game I am pretty good at the game i'll admit it! I was watching their live stream and I was killing them a lot. it was cool but sadly i caught them talking behind my back they were like "omg shes like sooo annoying and bad" "ikr I act like I like her but I dont shes annoying thats why I dont like her she kills me every game!" "her voice is so squeaky has she even gone through puberty yet??" " I HATEE HER SOO MUCH" "she also made a video about how she is soooo "good" but yet she is unkillable how does that even work?!" "IKR and she made a video about her getting a new "skin" for a character and she was like screaming it was hurting my ears and i'm like calm down" They also immediate me and my voice I couldn't believe this I was acting like I was bad at the game cus I didn't want them to make fun of me no more. I really couldn't believe my eyes why would they do this :((

So, for about 2 years, we were walking dogs together and chatting along the way. I'm 49 and she's in her 50's btw. Last November, I brought her a thanksgiving decoration to replace one that a squirrel ate and her sister came to the door. I made some silly joke about my friend not coming to the door because she was naked in the house or something! Her sister didn't think my attempt at humor was funny. She told her sister that I was disrespectful and rude. She hasn't spoken to me since. Honestly, I wasn't sure what brought this on until another neighbor spilled the beans and told me what her deal was. I'm on the fence about reaching out and apologizing for my stupid attempt at humor because I don't think I really need friends who turn on me over trivial things anyway. How wrong was I? Should I try to make it right?
