I've noticed lately the past 10 days since he's been gone 1 month now, that he is starting to pick fights & accuse me of cheating. In the past 5 days that we've had these two very big arguments, he disappears from calling or texting after 9:00pm almost every night. Keep in mind this is a grown 26 year old "man". We went to the hot tub again one time, and then the next day we hung out again. He kept touching me and then we went back to his place. I thought it was telling me to break up with him so after some time of trying to avoid it I finally broke up with him knowing it was the right thing to do if I wasn't in love anymore. I remember the feelings I had when we first started dating though. I was freaking IN LOVE with this boy. Now that we broke up I'm unsure of what is reality and what is just my imagination or my anxiety. On some level I want to be with this boy and on another I don't. Part of it is I don't want to be with someone when I turn 18. I want to live on my own and be completely on my own figuring out life. After I broke up with him I felt a little relief but I wish I knew why. Whether it was the whole independence thing or the were we in a rut. I need someone to help me figure out what I want and what will make me happy because I clearly can't figure it out on my own. I'm also terrified of watching him move on and be with someone else.
