My best friend lost her husband and works from 2 pm to 10 pm and needs someone to watch her child during them hours. I am willing to baby sit but need some sort of income. My friend does not make enough money to pay me, hire a baby sitter, day care etc. So wondering any programs designed for this situation.

I'm currently seeing (nothing official yet) a guy who has a young kid, 3 years old. I never really wanted any kids of my own but I am really starting to fall for this guy and I think he feels the same way. I'm not good with kids, not because I don't like them but because I've never had experience with young children before. I don't know what to say or how to act around them. My ex boyfriend had two kids but they were teenagers so it was very easy for me to get along with them and do fun things with them. We were together for four years and the kids had nothing to do with us breaking up. With this new guy, all I think about is changing diapers and the kid screaming in my ear if I were to meet him and that freaks me out. Has anyone ever dated someone with a young one before that has any advice?

I know for me personally i can't take her everywhere she needs to go or everywhere she wants to go because i'm very tired. taking her to the grocery every sunday is all i can do and occasionally pick her up from work. she has a boyfriend that takes her and picks her up from work whenever i can't and we just rotate days. i don't know what's going on with her mind, she doesn't know the difference between the gas and the break, she doesn't know directions at all. She wouldn't even be able to tell someone how to take her home. We've been trying to teach her how to drive and getting nowhere. the boyfriend she has says she just isn't cut out to drive and he said he's going to teach her how to catch a cab or taxi when he's not around. don't want her depending on a man her entire life to get to basic places but i also worry about her mental health if she's in the house too much. she's in the house everyday unless she's at work. She doesn't even hang out with her friends anymore. She said she doesn't want to burden her friends with picking her up.

He asked this and I was shocked, I replied to him 'why do you ask, do you wish I was different?' And he 'no,no, but I was just wondering cause you're still growing'. Is it normal for a boyfriend to ask this, since he is clearly not satisfied with my size, through he doesnt say it.

My girlfriend of almost three months is pregnant and it might be mine. I say might because part of me feels it might be her ex's and I'm hoping it's not mines. As of now she's came back positive three times so she's for sure pregnant and she's saying she's sure she wants to keep the baby so this isn't something I can really hide. I'm just not sure and I don't want this to be something that causes them to flip out when I come visit over the summer. If it is mine I'm not going to drop out of college but I might have to move back home to be able to budget accordingly. Should I tell them now or wait until I'm sure?

A year ago a guy was working where I worked. He was tall, light hair, green eyes. Not really handsone, but cute. He had the most romantic, shiny green eyes you could ever see, he was so shy and blush while trying to talk to me or when he stared at me. Once he stared at me while lifting boxes and a guy gave him a nudge on the head, he fell from the clouds and blush and then followed my with his eyes. He was so sweet, shy, and his voice and manner looked like the ones of a prince. My ideal kind of guy, and he was also hardworking (we worked in a factory). He couldn't even speak english he came somewhere from eastern europe. Once he saw me on the staircase and had this huge smile on his face, but he was so shy... he never said hello to me. Just romantic stares with watery eyes. I will never foeget him. I never fell in love, I was always mistreated and hated and he was the one that showed me what love (maybe not actually love but a simple crush ) meant. I miss him so bad but who knows if he was the one for me?
