Question: How can I make a girl friend my girlfriend? Posted: 16 May 2019 05:18 PM PDT I'm a guy in my early 20's. I'm friends with a girl my age. We've known each other for a year. We are co workers so we naturally became friends. We hang out some times but it's always friendly. I like to pick her up and go to the mall, beach, go for ice cream, etc. I have a big crush on her. She's very cute. I know she thinks I'm cute too because a mutual friend of ours told me she said I was cute. I want to make things kinda flirty between us but I don't know how. Or how she feels. She's a great friend and If I lose that it will be a big loss. Any ideas? I want to do this in baby steps. I refuse to pour my heart out and make an *** out of myself. I see her as a potential girlfriend and if another guy locks her down it will hurt. |
Question: If you could give 3 advise to your younger self what would it be? Posted: 16 May 2019 04:41 PM PDT I would of said to stop changing your shooting form stick with one. You have 1 in a million chance making it to the NBA. Millions work as hard as you and are taller. Concentrate in school. Get a nursing degree. Dont worry about girls not showing interest in you. You will find someone. |
Question: Is it weird to cuddle with your best friend? Posted: 16 May 2019 04:29 PM PDT So there's this girl I've been really good friends with since elementary school (i'm a guy) Me her and another guy friend were hanging out at my house watching tv, she wanted to cuddle and since we're both currently single I was like sure why not, our guy friend got all weird and was like dude why the hell are you guys cuddling, now i'm all paranoid and wondering if he was right lol |
Question: 2 of my friends have crush on me but I don’t feel the same way! Help! Warning : long rant? Posted: 16 May 2019 04:08 PM PDT One of the guys who likes me is one of my closest friends. I love him a lot just not in the way he likes me. I use like because I know he doesn't love me we're too young for it to be love. We won't go to same school next year either and I really want him to be happy. I just don't feel the same way. He hasn't told me yet but he told my other friend who told me. My other friend is a good friend of mine. I met him through one of our mutual extracurriculars. We don't go to the same school and I won't be going to his school either. He thinks I'm too good for him which really hurts me because I don't want him to feel that way about himself. I know he'll find someone that likes him too but it just won't be me. Also one of my bestfriends also likes him which makes things really complicated . He also doesn't know that I know he likes me. I really don't know what to do . I really don't wanna ruin my relationship with them. Any advice on how to proceed? |
Question: What does it mean when a guy comments on a romantic scene during a movie? Posted: 16 May 2019 04:05 PM PDT I went out to the movies with this guy. And during the movie, there was a scene when a woman and a man were kissing. During the kissing scene, he said it was so romantic. I didn't say anything but I was thinking that was his way of trying to initiate me to kiss him. That same night we also went to the arcade, out to eat and then we had sex but we never kissed. |
Question: Why is my friend acting strange? Posted: 16 May 2019 03:44 PM PDT my friend treats me like sh*t online when his face isn't shown but in real life we get along fine. What should I do? |

Question: How do I thank my friend for helping me with a problem? Posted: 16 May 2019 02:31 PM PDT I unexpectedly had to work late which was a problem for me. My 15 year old daughter needed a ride home from school. I asked a co worker and friend Bob if he could take her home form school and he agreed. She had met Bob previously. He picked her up from school and was driving her home. He asked her if she had any food for dinner at home and she said no. He ask her if she would like to join him for dinner and she immediately said yes. She thought they might go to Sizzler. He took her to Ruth Chris. She told me it was the best meal she ever had in her life. She was so excited about the great meal she called me at work and told me about it. The next day at work I thanked Bob for driving my daughter home from school and especially for the great dinner they had. My daughter said beside the great meal Bob was a lot of fun to be with. I told Bob I would pay him for my daughter's meal. He said "No Way" would he take any money. He said I was happy to be able to help you. Would it be appropriate for me and my daughter to take Bob out for a meal? The problem we can not afford anything near as expensive as Ruth Chris. |

Posted: 16 May 2019 01:40 PM PDT So I know a girl who use to be my friend but we're not friends anymore. Anyways, many weird situations keep happening. For example, I told this girl I was going to a concert. A couple weeks go by and afterwards I saw she posted photos that she was also at the concert. Another example, I went to a motorcross event for my birthday last year and invited her, she never replied back then I took a picture there with #vip. She then posted a photo of her there with #generaladmission 🙄 Now, I invited her ONCE AGAIN on a trip to Mexico for my birthday this year (never responded) only to find out she booked a trip to the EXACT SAME PLACE a week prior to me going. Is this just a coincidence or do you think she's jealous or something?? #fedup |
Posted: 16 May 2019 01:30 PM PDT I want to wish my friends and relatives on their birthday. I have been writing to wishing them this way lately on facebook, whatsapp, or whatever network we have together: Happy Birthday enter name! Have a great day. I start the wish to them based on the time of the morning that seems right based on their friendship and closeness to me. I put one exclamation point here after happy birthday. My hope is to wish them and hope they have a great day such as blessings, good success, happiness, and everything for their day. Should I wish them Happy Birthday enter name!! Should i use two exclamation marks after the happy birthday so that my timing and feelings and then the real wish are conveyed or is one exclamation mark good enough to include it all? |

Question: Why does he feel the need to comment on my hobbies? Posted: 16 May 2019 12:20 PM PDT So I go to university and I have a group of friends. In my spare time I go ballet dancing and I love it and it's my hobby. I am passionate about dancing and I like to upload photos and videos of myself dancing because I enjoy it. One of my friends is a gay guy. Every time I see him, he always has something to say about my dancing, and it's usually cynical or negative. I am very passionate about what I do, but every time I see him he makes a snide comment about my dancing which makes me question myself. He will tell me to stop dancing and hurting myself and to concentrate on something else, like yoga. Every time I make a passing comment, that I'm tired for example, he will sarcastically say that it's because of all the ballet I'm doing. He will also make a snide comment of how many pictures I post and then if I've hurt myself doing it, he will comment and laugh and keep asking me how my foot is. No one else takes as much interest in this as he does, because he always feels like he has something to mention. He also said to me one day 'well it's not like we all have the body to do ballet is it?' It's really hurting me, because I love doing what I do but his cynical comments and judgement make me feel self-conscious. why does he keep feeling the need to comment on my hobby? |
Question: I need support. Extremely filthy friend asked me to cut his nails..? Posted: 16 May 2019 11:55 AM PDT I have a friend with mental issues who hasnt taken a shower for a couple of years now. He reeks and its horrible. I cant even come close to him. He has no family and we live in the same little town. I dont see him that often but he calls me everyday as somebody he can talk to for a bit. Tonight he asked me to cut a big nail of his that he cannot take care of. I replied to him that this is something I am not comfortable to do but I start consider the possibility to grow a pair and just help him. Any thoughts please? |
Question: How to stop laughing? Posted: 16 May 2019 11:18 AM PDT I know it's a weird questiom, but I need help. Me and my two friends are doing a group project in which we have to speak to eachother in spanish. We have to record it, too. However, when it's my line, I can't stop laughing. I dont know why. I try pinching myself until my line is over but only end up with blisters. Please help. Thank you. |

Question: How to best handle people that invite themselves along. Need advice? Posted: 16 May 2019 10:52 AM PDT My teenage DD is friends with a girl whose family invites themselves along or just shows up places you've mentioned your family is going with our other friends (not their friends) Its really awkward. I don't understand why they are doing this. My DD spent the night with them about 2 weeks ago and I just found out all this yesterday when she told me that her friends mother was grilling her on our summer plans and my DD let it slip(I told her to keep her mouth shut around them) that we are going to the beach. They have assumed that their daughter is going with us (my DD said she didnt invite anyone) My dd also told me that they have already gone shopping and have bought stuff for the beach. its an awkward position they are constantly putting me in. Best way to handle this? |
Question: Not responding to texts? Posted: 16 May 2019 10:49 AM PDT what does it mean if someone doesn't respond to your texts but posts on social media? feels kinda terrible when someone does that, but it also seems harmless, right? maybe? idk |

Posted: 16 May 2019 07:44 AM PDT You tell your friend if they choose not to be friends with you, you always want the best for them.....if they end the friendship with you would you block them? Or blocking them would show them you don't want the best for them? |
Question: I became insecure and dont trust ppl? Posted: 16 May 2019 07:38 AM PDT Back then I had a friend group where we are a trio (group of 3 ppl) we did everything together. Text ,go out, facetime together. But they did a cruel prank on me that hurt me and showed their true colors then they proceeded to even go away from me I always tried to bring us back ,but they didnt this affect my school work and ive fallen into deep depression. Ive had other friends than them but I even carried my insecurites to my other friends (fear of losing them) I became weak and I dont try with them and even small acts like not texting me hurts. Its ruining my life and i feel like doing nothing. My trio friends apologized to me and i accepted cause they left me and hurt me ,but the damage has been done and now not only my friendship with them makes me insecure but with everyone.... (I dont even try with my other friends cause I feel unwanted and lost my closest friends) |

Question: Trying to figure out a friend acting strange? Posted: 16 May 2019 12:46 AM PDT I have this friend, I'll call her Ari. Trying to figure out if there's anything more going on. She's always been extroverted, outgoing, kinda quirky. She gets a lot of attention from guys and she's a stoner. We've always been close, able to hang out one-on-one, not just in the friend group, and share secrets. But we're different people. I'm shy, inexperienced, quiet. Never dated anyone. This year though, it kinda feels like Ari's flirting with me. Tagging me in her Instagram updates, saying stuff like "So why weren't you here? <3" When the friend group has sleepovers and play music, she always wants to dance with me. When we camp out on the floor, she usually sleeps beside me and even cuddles me sometimes. I mean, she's an affectionate person, I've seen her cuddle others, but still. Everyone found out via truth or dare that I've never watched porn or masturbated. Thankfully, they're nice and didn't laugh at me, but Ari was surprised and encouraged me to try. We were talking on the phone later, and she brought it up again. Somehow talked me into trying, surprising me by saying "Tell you what, just imagine me, if it's easier, okay?" She started moaning to "help" me and I ended up doing it. After I was done she sounded really happy and proud of me. Haven't seen her in person since, but we've been texting like everything's the same. Is it the same? I still can't believe that happened. I know she's outgoing but why would she do that? |
Posted: 16 May 2019 12:30 AM PDT But I remember that he told me again not to mention problems. Because of this it's a struggle at times for me when we hang out. I feel I need to be strong and can't share how I feel. Am I a bad friend for thinking this? |
Question: Will I ever grow up? Posted: 15 May 2019 11:00 PM PDT I'm 21 and my only friend is my mom. She has always been more like a friend than a mom since I was a child. She has never tried to discipline me either. I listen to her for everything and even go to her for advice on boys. I don't listen to what other people say, but I only listen to her. |
Posted: 15 May 2019 10:10 PM PDT Pretty straight forward. My friend and I made plans to go to a movie for my birthday to celebrate and on my birthday they forgot it was my birthday and didn't say anything to me about it until I told them the next day hey yesterday was my birthday. To which my friend responded sorry I forgot but at least it was only by a day and not like a whole week. I think that if I didn't say anything thing they would've just forgotten all together. I ended up not going to the movies and just chillin by myself instead. I've never forgotten my friends birthday. I make it a habit to remember |
Question: What’s “easy on liking my **** btw” means ? Posted: 15 May 2019 10:00 PM PDT |
Posted: 15 May 2019 09:51 PM PDT I want to ask this girl out but now I'm not so sure. She's 21 and she started dating her now 40 year old boyfriend a year ago. It was public all over facebook and she was bragging about the vacations he took her on, the gifts and all that. He's immature for his age and lives with his parents and is into anime and stuff so it's not like he's this mature sugar daddy. Just a guy who makes more money than his much younger girlfriend who only makes $10/hr so he's able to treat her to a nice lifestyle. They got an apartment together but then separated and he moved out. This all happened within 7 months of dating, traveling after 1 month, apartment after 3 months, him moving out by 7 months. Then they got back together, then broke up and became friends and were hanging out, then had another falling out in March and didn't talk for all of April and now they're back together again! Should I just assume they're going to get married and forget about dating this girl since she's single for like 1 month at a time before running back to this guy. Will this relationship even last? |
Question: What is the bet gratitude gift? Posted: 15 May 2019 08:05 PM PDT My best friend has been there for me through thick and thin. She's helped me through so many things in my life and still continues to do so when it would have been easier just to stop being friends. I honestly dont think I could be here right now if it werent for her. I want to get her something to show her my gratitude- even if it's the least I can do since nothing will ever be able to express the appreciation I have for her. But I dont know what to get her. Any ideas? |
Posted: 15 May 2019 06:47 PM PDT why lie about that though i don't see a reason for it? why pretend you don't have friends or people who care makes no sense to me shes full of crap but why be full of crap like that because i do know some girls who do this they keep others closer to them than they make out but try to pretend they aren't that close why is that? play like i'm stupid or something? |
