I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years and I've been unhappy for a while now. I tried to make it work for so long because 1.. I wanted to prove to my overly strict and judgmental mother that I could have this long lasting relationship that turns into marriage. She's never liked him ever since she found out he has 3 kids by two different women. She also doesn't like the fact he lives with his grandmother at 35. He is going back to school right now and working part time as he says he want to make a better life for us. Also the other reason I've stayed with him for so long is because I didn't want to give up, I didn't wanna be a statistic. I wanted to show that love can persevere through everything. He was so controlling in the beginning of our relationship as far as not wanting me to wear certain stuff that might show skin, got upset when I confided in my old boss with my anxiety I was going through but he's also a psychologist, doesn't think I should drive because he thinks I'm going to kill myself, he tried to finger me to make sure I wasn't cheating. He said it basically shouldn't even feel like even a hole is down there because we aren't having sex so if my v feels loose he said he will know. And while I was at work I had to cover someone else's class so I didn't have a break so he thought I was lying about that. There's so much more that happened in the course of our relationship but that's all I'll say for now. And I think I'm just becoming numb at this point

The formal dining room table has a French print table cloth, and there is an Eiffel tower on the table. The kitchen wall has a painting of Paris. And a picture of the Eiffel tower and a French flag. The Living room has a big entertainment armoire with sliding doors. Huge book shelves.. A curio cabinet, a fireplace stand, an accent cabinet, an accent table... A large leather reclining sectional.. And matching sofa and loveseat to, reclining chair and accent chair and a chaise lounge.. An ottoman, and a coffee table, and end tables.. A magazine rack, a large coat hanger thing with a bench, a shoe rack and mirror.. My bedroom has a queen size platform storage bed, three dressers, three chests of drawers... A closet organizer, and two wardrobe armoires.. And a large entertainment armoire with sliding doors.. A shoe rack.. And a computer armoire and book shelves. The other bedroom has a aoffice desk, a writing desk and book shelves.

The atmosphere is so tense when we're in the same room. We are completely opposite so it makes it hard to relate. Any tips on how to ease the tension? Sometimes I'll talk & she'll just ignore me. It's making me self conscious. Don't want my boss to regret hiring me :\

Hello I am in high school. At my sports practice there has been said some pretty bad things about me. I just can't tell if their rumors or not. So my actual coach had to leave for a few months and so I was thrown with this different coach. I LOVE her so much but me and her just don't match when it comes to coaching, so I texted my parent and said that I don't want to take from this person for lessons. I never talked about this. I can't remember if maybe I said something or not but I don't think it did. Though now there's rumors going around saying that I hate this coach when I don't we just don't match well. How can I be responsible and fix this problem?

A guy, 25 years old. Childhood spent in poverty. His mom died when he was 9, he never recovered. His dad died when he was 17 to cancer. During childhood and teenage years he was bullied cause he didn't belong to the high class. In the place he lived, he was considered a beast because his family was an honest working class type of family. He always missed the love of his mom. Dad tried his best but simply could not make it. When these deaths happened, he was always bullied. At some point he broke a plaster cast of his hand on the head of a boy who couldn't stop annoying him. He was suspended. He ended high school as homeschooled, although he was a really good student (if only the teachers hadn't bullied him too because he was not rich like the others, and lowered his grades). He meets a girl afterwards ans he falls bad for her. She loves him too. She tells him first that she loves him and she doesn't see him as a friend. He then laughs and mocks her for having feelings for him and tells her 'go find a young doctor whose daddy paid the school and make lots of babies with him, you'll have a better life than with an animal like me'. He laughs and goes away, and is happy seeing her tears. He gets home and breaks down crying because he realizes he hates himself so much he wants to poison his own life. And cries cause he loves the girl but hates himself and is incapable of being happy. What should this guy do? The guy really wants to be happy, but hates himself so much he wants to make it all black because everything for him was hard and for the others was so easy.

My close friend is moving home to Nevada soon to care for her mom, who has terminal brain cancer. I can t go see them, but I want to send them a package to show I am thinking of them and supporting them. What are some good things that would be genuinely useful and comforting to a person with brain cancer and the loved ones caring for them?
