Question: Does my friend still want me around? Posted: 29 May 2019 05:42 PM PDT I've had a friend for 6 years, since 3rd grade. In fact, we were best friends. However, I'm starting to feel like she's annoyed with my presence. When I try to have a conversation with her, she doesn't really respond to me, she's much more interested in talking to her other friends. Whenever she DOES talk to me, she's usually preoccupied with her phone. I'm starting to become concerned, as she never used to act like this. We were friends since elementary. How should I react? |
Question: Are we just friends? Didn't feel right for some reason.? Posted: 29 May 2019 04:41 PM PDT So I graduated and a female friend who was close to me congratulated me and sent me a loooong text about what she liked about me and how I made her feel and she would miss me. I said thank you and wished her all the best. Then randomly one day she sent a rant about how she thought I had not given her proper attention by not sharing all my stuff and not introducing to my friends and even not hanging out with her. Does she want to be friends or is she asking for more? |
Question: Friends didn't respond to my invite? Posted: 29 May 2019 04:30 PM PDT It's my last week at my job for a short while, and I messaged our group chat asking if any of them fancied going out tomorrow night. Only four people got back to me, three asking why I was leaving and one PM'd me to say she's been very unwell and wouldn't be able to make it, but that we'll still get to go out after I start the new job. No one else has responded, but have read the message so I'm assuming they're not wanting to go. It's pretty hurtful because I've been working there 2.5 years and have known them a while. How should I react to this? |
Question: How do I find space from my clingy friend? Posted: 29 May 2019 04:15 PM PDT Don't get me wrong, I love my friend. But she's so clingy. She looks down upon my other friends like I like her more or something. She's constantly texting me and asking me to call her. And when I do call her, we're on the phone for like 3 hours! And whenever I tell her I need to do something like clean my room, she just tells me to take the phone with her, which is hard for me because, 1) I suck at talking on the phone and 2) She doesn't even do anything! She just sits there and talks to her mom or something. I just need a little space. How do I do that? |

Posted: 29 May 2019 02:31 PM PDT Something really embarrassing happened to me in school today I am not going to be saying what happened but when it did everyone was looking at me there is like 25 people in my class that all save what happened when I looked back it was so silent and everyone was just looking at me and staring at me the person in front of me was making a facial expression idk what it is called but she was making a facial expression at me like I was dumb. I felt like crying it was so embarrassing I didn't mean to do it at all but now everyone thinks I am stupid how do I get over this I feel like everyone thinks I am weird now and nobody wants to be my friend :(( |

Question: Can i please have advice on this woman please?????? Posted: 29 May 2019 01:40 PM PDT Im a dude, i had a work Friend named Sara who i had a big crush on. She was 35 married with kids, and im only 23. We would see eachother at work only twice a week, i would always go to her desk and we would talk. I felt so much Chemistry between us, she would always stare at me, and i always made her laugh and smile. Later we began getting in trouble because our friendship was innapropriate and it was offending other coworkers. Everyone noticed the attraction between Sara and i, but we never talked about anything innapropriate. Coworkers didn't like Sara because she was too stuck up and Arrogant. But she was always sweet to me. This caused drama at work, and i was asksed to stop talking to Sara. Sara and i would still talk( little bit) she told me that her job was in Jeopardy but she told me she would always have my back. One day i gave her a gift card, but a few days later she told me manager about it. Sara told my manager that i still try to talk to her. I was removed from her floor, and i was also suspended. I would see Sara in the halls but she would look down, amd couldn't see mebin the eyes. I heard that her personality changed, and that she always looked sad sitting at her desk.1 month after i was removed from her floor she Quit. The same day she quit she blocked me from Facebook. She was with the company 12 years.I feel like this was all my fault and it makes me upset. We were good friends and in the end we became enemies. she had already deleted me from Facebook but why did she proceed to block me? Can u have advice on this situation??????? |

Question: How can I convice my parents to let me travel to the United States.? Posted: 29 May 2019 12:20 PM PDT I graduated high school in America in 2014 with a hosting family, I know more people in another town as well, the thing is I really miss my American acquitances and friends and is being a while since ive seem them , I live in a foreign country and dont have money at the moment so I need my parents to pay for the planeta tickets. |
Question: What to do when your friends don't understand? Posted: 29 May 2019 12:19 PM PDT In high school i had my group of friends. we were all really close but there was always a difference. I graduated before them, they just seem like they never really grew up. i always had to pay bills ever since i was 17 when started working. now that i have a real job at a clinic my responsibility only grow. they don't understand an I'm tired of having them text me saying lets go out an do this an that, I have the money to go out but want to better my future by saving money. What do i tell them? |
Question: What’s this girls problem with me? Posted: 29 May 2019 12:09 PM PDT I'm a university student. I would say I have had a good education. My parents sent me to private school and I have been told by many people that I sound well-spoken and posh There is this girl who is in my friendship group, and she is very chavvy. She comes from a rough area and speaks fast and she is very rude to me. We made a video together for a piece of work and she told me that she couldn't understand what I was saying because I 'sounded rough'. I noticed in the video that I sound very posh in comparison to her. I have also noticed that whenever I make a contribution to class, she will snigger and it's really off putting. If I walk into class she will snigger too. If I'm talking she will complain that I speak too much and talk too loudly and that no one else gets to speak or have a say. One time the lecturer asked me a question and I was speaking then we ran out of time to have anymore questions and this girl said it was my fault for talking too much I barely talk now because I have lost my confidence. When I'm around her she makes me feel stupid. She interrupts me whenever I talk in the group and then starts talking about herself and tries to focus everyones attention on her I have also noticed that in class she keeps staring at me. I can feel her watching me, then I turn to see her and she's staring. I can also see that she continuously keeps turning her head to stare at me. What is her issue with me? |

Question: Friend just likes to text about drama and not positive news? Posted: 29 May 2019 08:00 AM PDT I made a new friend recently and we both love running/training, working out. We text almost every day but she'll text me long messages when it's about something dramatic (she's training for a marathon, so she'll go on about her coach or we'll talk about our relationships/families..) I had some good news recently about getting a side job and increasing my cross training and running and she just writes back " Ok, that's good." She never asks about things unless I'm complaining about work/home/my relationship. I don't think she needs to be able to relate to my "positive news" to hold a conversation, but she gives such short, dead-end responses instead of taking an interest in whatever's new with me. Is she just interested in dramatic stories and complaining?? I made friends with her in the first place because she's an inspiration as a runner and a person. Maybe I should answer her texts the same way with dead ends??? |
Question: My friend is mad i can’t move in with him after i tried to make up for money lost? Posted: 29 May 2019 06:31 AM PDT My friend and i were trying to get a place together and i thought that i was going to be able to find another part time job but i haven't had any luck yet. And I'm having a hard time getting hours at my current job i told him i was struggling financially and He really wanted us to move in so we could save money but things haven't gotten financially better for me. I told him last week that if i couldn't start my job by June that i couldn't move in now he's mad |
Question: Is this man a narcissist? Posted: 29 May 2019 06:14 AM PDT My co worker is very full of himself. He would talk for hours and not let anyone else talk. He doesn't care about anymore except himself. He said a story about his best friend that passed away. I came to comfort him and when I held him, there was no tears at all. I asked him if he went to his friend's funeral and he said he didn't. Also I came to check on him to see if he was okay because he was coughing and he looked at me with the weirdest stare. He thought it was weird that I was asking if he is okay. When I told him I'm hurt, he will ignore me. When someone tells him to stop doing something, he won't listen. He has no boundaries and he would manipulate people do the things he wants |

Question: How do I get rid of my toxic/clingy friend? Posted: 29 May 2019 04:46 AM PDT We've been friends for 10+ years, used to be in a group but has now whittled down to me being her only friend. She's a nasty, toxic, cheat, liar, user, stealer and I don't want to be around that energy anymore. I've tried to get away from her so many times but I can't! She also has a problem with cloning me, everything from clothes, makeup, holidays, boys, cars, cosmetic procedures, food, house decor.. we even work in the same place so she's completely unavoidable. I feel like I can't be my own person and I'm literally stuck with her! I have other friends that I enjoy spending time with and consider them my real friends. I just don't know what to do anymore. Anyone have any suggestions? |
Question: What do you think of my friend? his attitude? Posted: 29 May 2019 04:41 AM PDT I have a friend from high school. We graduated about 15 years ago. So we are in our 30s now. This friend of mine is somewhat strange. In the last 3 years, we had a few hangouts with friends from high school. We invited him a few times, but he has never showed up. Recently, my dad passed away and we had him in a funeral home. Suddenly this friend of mine showed up at the funeral home and met me. I knew from a whatsup group that he recently went to a funeral home to visit the headmaster of our high school who passed away. It got me thinking that this guy likes to come to a funeral home. And he never came to our small reunions. I think it is kinda strange. Why do you think he likes only to come to a funeral home? PS: why he never came to our small reunion? low self esteem? "Attendance at a funeral, some consider a sign of respect, almost mandatory." - if you have a friend and he only comes when it is mandatory (only a few times in 10 years), then would you call him a friend? BTW, I was his bestman when he got married. Should we meet more often than only during mandatory events which happened only a few times in our life? we got like only 3 reunions in 5 years.... and he never showed up. is he the president of America that too busy to meet his old friends? |
Question: Does this make him a bully too? Is he agreeing with them? Posted: 29 May 2019 04:25 AM PDT I do get made fun of and bullied in a school. It's because they find me weird. I do have a friend who says that he is totally against bullying and will help me through it. I do believe that im bullied because people are jealous of me because im good looking, intelligent and creative. This friend told me that I'm indeed weird. I get bullied because the way i walk, talk, sit, stand are all not good at all......and he does also believe that. He says im an arrogant person to think that people are being jealous when they clearly aren't. I dont think im weird at all. I dont think my walk, talk and stuff is bad.I think there is nothing bad in me.... So i disagree with the bullies. |

Question: Why do I keep seeing my friends birthday? Posted: 29 May 2019 04:16 AM PDT I've been seeing my friends birthday everywhere lately, just kind of curious why? Their birthday is January 29th, I keep seeing "129" |
Posted: 29 May 2019 04:04 AM PDT My friend has recently came out as Pansexual and wants to follow the religion Wicca. In the span of a week. At first I was glad bc I have been a Wiccan since I was 7 and I have been pansexual since I was 15. But its taking a toxic path. She asked me to teach her some Wicca. I gave her a book and had one " lesson " with her. Now shes going around and acting like she know everything. Shes spreading false information to other girls. The same with what pansexual means. Im afraid to tell her I am thinking im genderfluid, in fear of her copying me. |

Question: When somebody twistes words like this what should you do? Posted: 29 May 2019 03:22 AM PDT You write on Facebook 'trying to get a girlfriend" Your brother replies "You cannot control a girl or they wont go with you' Okay I'm nothing like this and my brother said this out of the clear blue. Why is he saying this and what should I do? |
Question: Is it better to have her as a friend than nothing at all? Posted: 29 May 2019 01:53 AM PDT I'm a 22 year old guy. In the fall there was a new girl my age at my work. She started running up to me and hugging me while I was working. She was really cute!! Cutest I've ever met. So I asked her if she wanted to hang out with me sometime. She said yes. So we exchanged numbers and she texted me for months. "Wyd" "goodnight" etc. I would take her out for ice cream, to the mall, we would share milk shakes, hold hands, etc. we never called it "dating" and there was a friend dynamic since we worked together. Then she quit my company and disappeared from my life. She never told me where she went to and forgot about me. She told me she was "busy" over text and would let me know. Just this month, she added me on social media. I found out through it that she has had a boyfriend for months now, the same time frame she told me she would let me know when she wasn't busy. The photos of them together made me very sad. They look snug, like they will never break up. I wasn't expecting it. I've made attempts to make her my friend. By inviting her to jog with me. We've gone twice and caught up. She hasn't mentioned her boyfriend to me at all which I thought was odd. Do I want her as a friend? She definitely won't text me "goodnight" or anything anymore. I feel as though I will never be able to make her my girlfriend. |

Question: Friend was possessed?!?!? Posted: 28 May 2019 11:37 PM PDT She was laying in bed and I thought she was asleep so I tried to roll her over and she's mad an angry face at me and then she started growling and she wouldn't stop and then I turned my phone flashlight on at her and then she ******* scratched me. I'm so confused and now she's fine like nothing ever happened. She literally was staring at nothing and then rubbed her eyes and asked why her throat hurt. Should I be worried? |
Posted: 28 May 2019 10:59 PM PDT I feel like I don't really have a life anymore. The only time I don't feel lonely is when I'm working at my job,and the days I'm off I just sit in my room all day and watch TV.I have no close friends and (Not to sound jealous)but my brother and my mom are always spending time together and enjoying each other's company and I feel they have a much closer bond. And Sometimes when I try to make and effort to be close to my Mom I feel like I'm disturbing her or as if I'm interrupting something.I feel detached and alone and find it difficult to form a close bond with anyone.I feel kinda lost and don't know what to do,any advise? |
Question: I want to get a job but I feel like I’m too busy? Posted: 28 May 2019 10:39 PM PDT I'm 16 and I really want a job but the whole school year I have school and I play sports all year and practice isn't over until about 4:30pm. Question: Why is my friend acting like a child? Posted: 28 May 2019 09:44 PM PDT Recently my other friends and I got into a petty fight because we "didn't" invite her to go out with us; but we had plans to go to the place with her previously, and she canceled on us. She also told our other friends she specifically didn't want to go to the place we were going. So when we rescheduled we didn't not invite her. She then got all dramatic and asked why we didn't invite her, and took ourselves out of the group chat. When we asked her why she left; she started bagging on us telling us why were terrible friends and why we didn't invite her to places; and bring up some "examples" but the examples she brought up - we invited her to but she never went to. Any ways long story short; she erupts into a huge fight with some of my other friends; and then declares them no longer friends. After the damage she caused she tried contacting the people who were not effected and asked to hang out! Like one day after she asks to hang out. So I leave her on read for 2 days. This gets her so angry she tells me that we are no longer friends. I texted her today explaining my situation; and she responds " you do you" and leaves me. Instead of acting like adults and talking face to face to try to solve the problem; she literally starts acting like a child. I guess I want to know why is she acting this way? |
Question: How do I tell if I am someones best friend on snapchat? Posted: 28 May 2019 08:56 PM PDT Two of my friends on my best friends list on snapchat are in my friend group in real life. Previously, both of these friends had the mutual best friend emoji next to their names. However, today, I logged in and saw that one of my friends no longer had the mutual best friend emoji next to their name. Does this mean that I am no longer their best friend list on snapchat, or my friend is no longer on their best friend list on snapchat? |

Question: How do i become a cool, popular teenager? Posted: 28 May 2019 07:59 PM PDT I m pretty much a huge loser. I ve never had sex, i don t do drugs or drink and i have barely any friends. I want to not be such a loser, though. How do i become cool and popular? Please don t say something dumb like "be yourself uwu" because that won t work for me. I ve tried that before. |
Question: Does my friend hate me? Posted: 28 May 2019 07:48 PM PDT I have this friend who I've been friends with since kindergarten and she's my best friend, but I don't think I'm hers. Ever since like last year, when she started smoking weed, we've drifted apart. She's just friends with different people, and always seems to pick them over me. First of all, she didn;t tell me about the first time she smoked until like 5 months after, and she only told me because the rumor had started going around and she didn't want me to hear it from anyone else. I wasn't really surprised though, it was the only thing she talked about. But I didn't really care. Ever since, she's just gotten so much more popular, and I haven't. And we go to a very small school. I feel like I'm always just following her around like a little kid, and she just wants to get away with me. For example, she stopped eating lunch in the lunchroom because she got in a fight with one of our other friends. I started eating with her, becuase it was really awkward just having three people at a lunvh table. But now, she's barely ever in the room because she just goes back into the cafeteria. She also barely ever asks me to hang out with her, but she's always asking other people to. Also she has this thing with a guy that lives far away, and he like felt her up or something, I don't even know, because she didn't tell be very much, but I heard little bits of her telling literally like 5 other people every little detail. I feel like she just treats me how she treats any other person. |
Question: Why does no one like me?(personality?)? Posted: 28 May 2019 07:29 PM PDT I'm a freshman in high school and I think i'm just introverted but I don't even know. I have like 3 really close friends that I hang out with outside of school, and a bunch more people that I talk to at school and on snapchat and stuff. But i feel like people think I'm wierd and annoying. I'm in all the advanced classes, and I think that people just think of me being smart as a personality trait. For example, one of my prior mentioned close friends was making a thing about me in art class where she had to draw four things about my personality, she drew math symbols, ice skates(i figure skate), and those were the only two things she could think to put down. The other things were just sort of inside jokes, but she just put them there because she couldn't think of anything else I do. And I consider this person my best friend. (I don't think the relationship is mutual but thats a whole other question) Anyways, I feel like whenever I talk to people that I;m not close with, it's super awkward. Just everyone is so much cooler than me. And also, no one ever, and I mean EVER picks me for anything. I always have to be the one to ask if i'm not with my close friends. This isn't even a question anymore but just a rant at this point, but kinda comment about it anyway, |

Question: How can I be friends with her? Posted: 28 May 2019 07:07 PM PDT I'm a guy in my early 20s. Back in the fall I became friends with a girl at my work. I was pretty much her first friend there. Sometimes we would hang out. I would pick her up from her house and take her to get ice cream, go to the mall, etc. she would run up to me and hug me while I was working. We definitely liked each other. Word was she thought I was cute. She would text me "goodnight" "wyd" "Will I see u at work" etc. A couple months ago she quit her job to go to school. There, she met a boyfriend. So we drifted. Her texts stopped entirely. Just this month, she added me on social media and we discovered we have jogging in common. We've gone twice. I want to be her friend. I can find another girl to make a potential girlfriend. But I want this girl as my friend. She's cool but I just don't see with a boyfriend in the picture how she could find time for me or if she's even "allowed" to hang with me by his standards. How can I become a closer friend? I want to hang out. But it's really awkward with this guy, especially since she had a crush on me. We never "dated" but I mean we used to hold hands and share milk shakes. |
Question: If you have no real friends, is there something wrong with you? Posted: 28 May 2019 06:56 PM PDT Like if a person can't find a real friend, is there something that they need to work on internally? |
Question: Why do I get so annoyed with my friend? Posted: 28 May 2019 06:06 PM PDT Recently I ended my friendship with another girl and I became friends with this other girl. She comes to my house after school almost everyday and with the other friend I feel like I would have more fun. She's always FaceTiming this guy at my house and it's really annoying because she's freaking always like "he's confusing me I think we're friends but I feel like he's flirting" and idgaf about boys I'm more focused on school and family. She's always using "I'm a blunt person" as an excuse for being rude. And she's heavily Christian, I'm religious but it bothers me when people are always preaching about it to non believers because I find it invasive. Im passionate about my religion but she was realllyyy bugging me talking about how sinful abortions are, because I'm a pro choice person because I don't like judging people for things because my motto has always been, "who am I to judge?" She's nice and all but I really don't know why but she ANNOYS me. And she always talks over me, and never lets me get a god forsaken word out of my mouth before ranting on about something idgaf about. I need help guyssss. Question: Should I delete my account? Posted: 28 May 2019 12:40 PM PDT Two months ago my Cousin posted my mom's photo, her name and her own personal bio on my Instagram account. I deleted in fear of people seeing it I still want to use the account however I'm embarrassed because there's so many teenagers on that account I don't want them to think anything weird of me.Should I delete the account or should I keep it? |
