Posted: 23 May 2019 04:06 PM PDT my daughter is 26 and her boyfriend is in his 30's. both of them live at home because they don't have good paying jobs. i noticed she never goes over his parents house except for holidays and he's always over here. i asked her why they can't hang over there sometimes and she said it's because they prefer it over here and my daughter is always cooking. she buys groceries and cooks for everybody but she also cooks a lot for her boyfriend. i told her don't kill herself if they ever break up because some couples don't last forever. She's put a lot of stock in the relationship, i don't want her to get hurt. I always ask if she is cooking for him when he comes over, i told her if she loses her job she won't be able to buy groceries and cook for him anymore. he's not allowed in her room, they can only go in the game room or living room to hang out. i also don't want them shacking up together or living together in the future because that's against our religion. |
Question: Boyfriend's family is judgmental? Posted: 23 May 2019 03:45 PM PDT I've been with my boyfriend 2 years and his step-family exclude him a lot. They contact him to do favors around the house, don't extend an invite to their family vacation. If he didn't do favors they would guilt him. I was sleeping over nightly, as he paid some money toward rent, and it was never indicated it wasn't ok to do so. My boyfriend told me his relationship with her wasn't good, in the past she had told him to get out and not come back because he vocalized his disgust that she kept leaving her cat's smelly litter box outside of his bedroom door. After 2-3 days of her asking him to do a house favor and disregarding his late work schedule, she lashed out, saying unforgivable things including, "Ever since you began dating X, you stopped being a member of our family." His step-mom felt we were rude because we didn't spend quality time with her in her home. His family is incredibly nosey and judgmental. They make comments to him such as, "You're too busy for us" "Nice to see you, stranger" and its incredibly uncomfortable. We get guilt-tripped and nagged into spending time with them and its incredibly toxic. It's stooped as low as them not even buying me a birthday card for my birthday. My boyfriend feels an obligatory loyalty. My boyfriend has since moved out and there's already been comments, "He doesn't show his face but it's expected from him" but I feel very offended and distrustful of the women in his life. Any advice -- I HATE BEING PHONY. |
Question: Why is my friend being like this to me all of a sudden? Please help? Posted: 23 May 2019 03:08 PM PDT We went to high school together and were pretty close all along. However in the last year, we really drifted apart. She told me before that she fancied me and wanted to be with me but I told her I just wanted to be friends. I have been dating a guy now for a few months, he lives 30 minutes from me and she has tried everything to try get me to dump him and told me to find someone who is closer to home like her. I told her I wanted to be with the other guy and she told me that she knows deep down me and her will be together in the end (which won't happen). Suddenly then, she began telling me that she's unable to hang out anymore at weekends and is busy for may and June so far of this summer with other things and can't meet up much. I messaged her once about meeting up a few weeks ago and she said she wasnt free so I'm simply not playing into her game anymore. Is she just playing a game for me to miss her? What is she doing like? Should I just ignore her? |
Question: Love-hate relationships...? Posted: 23 May 2019 01:46 PM PDT So I have this problem where I'd love and hate people, this happens with all my family and friends. I could love them days but then they'd do one thing wrong and I'd curse the hell out of them (in my mind) and just wish they died. Honestly it's so exhausting and I didn't/don't have a single stable relationship with anyone in my life. This happens with everybody I know and it's ticking me off. I could really love them and want them to stay with me one second and the next second I want them to disappear into thin air. Btw the things they do "wrong" don't always have to be directed toward me, just things they do that piss me off (like being rude to someone else, acting special,...) What should I do to fix this...? |

Question: YIKES! father-in-law's new gf is twisting my words? Posted: 23 May 2019 08:00 AM PDT in a nutshell, my husbands father's new gf and I hit things off really well, until 4 months later. she announced my "pregnancy" . everything and anything I tell her seems to get misheard, and she tells my father in law her version of it which blows my mind. I was telling her about my OBGYN appointment (the usual regular checkup) and how my doctor was patronizing me about my birth control choice of the nuvaring whereas she wanted me to do the armor up which I did not want. My doctor made comments such as "oh you're not pregnant yet?" and "oh I bet you must be infertile" because she just rude and putting up an attitude for whatever reason based on my choice of birth control. so I am telling this to the new girlfriend, and she was like "wow, yeah she seems horrible, you should go see another OBGYN"... my father in law heard some of the conversation, and thought I was talking about the fact that I was pregnant. instead of coming to me, he asked her if I was pregnant, and she said I was trying to conceive?! like hello? so because of that, there was a meeting held (behind my back) to announce my pregnancy. I found out about it, and had to explain over and over again my side of the story. Anyways, now there are barriers between me, and everyone because now everyone just thinks I made up stories and told her lies?! she refuses to talk to me about it, or to anyone about it because she "doesnt want to get involved" UGH! Why would she do that? and how the heck did she misunderstand me? |
Question: Please answer, no one is answering? Posted: 23 May 2019 06:33 AM PDT What do you think about her? What does it mean when my girlfriend wants to pay together? She goes let's take turns when it comes to paying for stuff when we're out. She said I'll pay half time and you'll pay half time for both of us. I said no and that I am happy to continue to pay separately. We have been dating for 5 months. |

Posted: 23 May 2019 02:31 AM PDT I see these days guys even refuse or don't recognize their children. My husband is just 26 and so happy we just had a baby girl, he literally loves her. Before she was born he used to came home with presents and toys for her. Now when he comes back from work he kisses her and takes her in his arms although he's tired after 9h of work, and he says 'cuddle time with daddy' and sleeps with her on his chest. They are sp cute when they sleep together. As the backgrpund of his phone he has a picture with her where he's kissing her and her cheek looks weird because he kissed her a bit too strong. He really loves her so very much. I am so happy about it but I was wondering if it's typical of young men to be this good and loyal, as I see that many guys refuse their own children and dont accept responsibilities |
Posted: 23 May 2019 12:48 AM PDT Recently, next door neighbour have put on a decor in their back garden fence. It is a luck and co incidence that those decor are clearly visible from the room window where I reside. The decor are square shaped, are placed in close proximity in a straight line all the way across the fence. I do have trypophobia. I come from a nation where mountains are almost every where across it. The green trees. I have had no problems with them while I stayed there and no problem until I am to live in England with family. Popes to insta, and saw mountains with trees and it wasn't a good feeling. Do I really need to go to a therapist? 😣🌌. Thanks |
Question: Is my Boyfriend Cheating on Me? Posted: 22 May 2019 10:37 PM PDT He sent me a goodnight text last night but he added bitemojis (those are emojis of your snap avatar that look like you) in the chat you can send ones of both of you together but last night it was of him and some other female on his Snapchat. I don't know who she is..and he was playing dumb when I asked him. He said "what? I don't get it." And a simple answer would've been who the girl was. |
