We started out as friends at work, but eventually things became slightly toxic. So I decided to stop being friends with him, by basically texting him that a friendship full of fights was definitely toxic and we should just not talk anymore. He didn't agree, but eventually said "fine, whatever" basically. So I deleted his number, I blocked him back. However, he continually tried having conversations with me at work. So I would give bland responses. Eventually, I started to straight up tell him "stop talking to me". I told him this a dozen times, and even the guys at work told him the same thing, as they recognized what was going on. So he stopped talking to me. However, one night at home I saw his car drive by my house, very slowly. It stopped at the end of the driveway for a few seconds then drove away, then drove back by my house a few minutes later. I live in a residential neighborhood, so there is no reason for him driving by. He did this twice more, and those are only the times I happened to see his car. Recently, he texted two of my friends, asking for my phone number to ask me a question.When one of them didn't respond, he spammed them with eight texts and no reply. My question is, is this considered stalking / harrassment? Is it bad enough to report him to the managers at my work? Or is this harmless enough that I should just leave it be? |

He treated me like a queen, he took me to nice restaurants, movies, to meet his family, he met my family and friends and even treated me to a nice 2 week vacation to a resort in Mexico for my 22nd birthday. After we got back from the trip we decided to take the next step and get a place together. We moved into a nice apartment and I decorated it and he paid and was so happy with how it came out. I was so in love and wanted to marry him, things were going well. Then things took a turn. He started acting like I was to young and not at the same place in life because I think he was jealous that I was in college and still had my whole 20s ahead of me. We fought a lot about things. I have depression and anxiety and compulsively shared a lot of our drama on facebook because I wanted support from friends and to vent. I broke things off because he wouldn't accept my depression and said it was a choice. He moved out of the apartment. My family didn't like him after that and some of my friends didn't either. I was 22 I couldn't afford a $1600 a month 2 bedroom apartment on my paycheck from working part time and being a student. I got help for my depression and I graduate college next weekend. Now we can finally start a life together and he said he needs to take some time to think about it and that he loves me. Will this work? I'm not a gold digger. He makes like 45k a year and lived with his parents saving up for a house before he met me. He obviously makes more than me because I was 21 when we met working part time and a college student and he could afford to take me on trips and buy me things because he doesnt have a mortgage or a car payment or even rent. |

We shot the breeze, I made her laugh several times. She actually looked at me more than she has in the past, not that she ever has stopped paying attention to me but it's like she gets shy and looks away. As they were walking away she reiterated about wanting to see a movie with my friends and I (I don't think it's a date - we went before and it wasn't) and, to me, she sort of awkwardly acted like she thought she should be hugging me or at least high fiving me as she walked away, but thought better of it... |

I let this mourning mess up my relationship of 5 years... I never cheated on my boyfriend but I was deeply saddened by this guys death. I was mostly reminiscing on my younger days with him and was saddened that he died so young. I had convinced myself that this guy was my first love because we had said "I love you" frequently when we were kids, but him being my first love was definitely not the case. My boyfriend was my first love. He was the first person I fell in love with romantically, had my first kiss with, and lost my virginity to, and I was the same for him. My boyfriend broke up with me last month because I hurt him so much by mourning over the loss of the guy and calling him my "first love"... I want to let my boyfriend go because I hurt him a lot with those words, but I also want to try to get back with him. Since he has left I have been doing a lot of self reflecting and slowly making changes within myself. Not for him but for myself. But I really am hoping we can rekindle our relationship because we have so many things in common and always understood each other. I just had unfortunately let this loss in my life really take over, and convince myself something that was not. I feel like my head is so clear now and I am back to my old self again but even better. There is still room for improvement though. |

It appears to only be during work hours and I don't see anything that is flirtatious but they seem to text quite a bit. When I discovered this, I looked online at her message history. Sometimes he texts her first and other times she starts the day by texting him. One thing that did really bother me was she was home sick a few weeks ago and there was no communication until I had to leave to run a quick errand. The second I was gone, she texted him and it stopped the moment I got home. It looks like they text 3-4 days a week, 20-30 times each day that they text. I tried talking to her and telling her that I felt like she was hiding something and she explained that it's no different than talking to him at work. Since they no longer work together they have to text instead of talking and she didn't have to tell me about them talking during work and she didn't see how the texting was any different. Her response seemed a bit rehearsed but she said I'm free to read the messages if I want to. I admit that I have read some and they don't flirt but they make each other laugh and I'm uncomfortable with it. If I ask her to stop I will be labeled the crazy jealous and controlling husband but if I accept it and watch it continue I will develop an ulcer. Am I overreacting? |

I woke up around 3am and saw it and didn't respond cause I was so tired so I went back to sleep Cause I knew I'd see him at work. He never said anything to me he just ignored me which he does at work so no one knows we're "talking". I wanted to text him back that day but I had jet lag from getting off of a 15 hour flight on Thursday which he knew about. So instead of texting him back I went to sleep. Then Saturday I had a busy day of unpacking and cleaning and getting myself situated. He texted me again at 10pm saying "Oh ight" I was sleep at this time because like I said I had jet lag which caused a constant pressure headache and sleeping problems. I woke up around 2am and told him I was sorry and that I meant to respond but it seemed too late to. He ignored it around 7am. I called him today and he answered on the second ring. I told him I didn't mean to ignore his text and he said "oh ight". I went to go say something else and he laughs out loud and hangs up in my face. What do you think this means? I'm so confused and hurt cause I put a lot of trust into this guy after people told me not to. And I thought things would be better than this because just a few days before he was asking me to be his gf. The thing is I didn't answer his question because I was scared if I committed and things didn't work out I'd get hurt kind of like I am now. Can someone please give me advice? |
