Posted: 30 May 2019 05:57 PM PDT So, my friend and I have been talking for a while and since we just met I told her I wanted to date her but since we just met that I wanted to wait a while so that I could make sure it's alright, and she was telling me that she was loyal and that I could trust her because she's the most loyal person ever and only wants me. She told me today that she had a one night stand with someone when she was drunk a few days ago and now her and her friend are upset at me for not wanting to date her anymore? Like, I get it, she was drunk, and she's saying it was a mistake, and that we weren't "dating" yet, but i just get hurt by that and it really makes me sad and not able to date someone who does that, and then goes to me the very next day to tell me they love me and stuff?? |
Question: 14 year old boy sitting on mom's lap? Posted: 30 May 2019 05:57 PM PDT When I was 14 I used to sit on my mom's lap a lot like whenever on a bus or in the car when there wasn't anywhere to sit. she was 51 kind of thin and white and I was 14 thin white and a boy. I'm sure I must've weighted more than her. was it weird? how could my mom handle it? |
Question: Do you think we were just friends, or was this something more that I wasn’t aware of? Posted: 30 May 2019 05:20 PM PDT So I graduated and a female friend who was close to me congratulated me and sent me a loooong text about what she liked about me and how I made her feel and she would miss me. I said thank you and wished her all the best. Then randomly one day she sent a rant about how she thought I had not given her proper attention by not sharing all my stuff and not introducing to my friends and even not hanging out with her. Does she want to be friends or is she asking for more? |
Question: Long story...please read and let me know? Posted: 30 May 2019 05:07 PM PDT I've been bullied my entire life from everyone I come into contact with. From comments about my appearance to the latest news about why I didn't show up today, etc. I keep to myself because of all the bullying. People that I have some sort of interaction with,I hear all the time why is she so quiet, etc and then they talk crap about me. I left the state for work and decided to permanently stay in the state. I'm now around people that love me for me and don't bully me. I visited my family recently and people are mad at me that they didn't know that I left. They asked me why I didn't tell them and...I just couldn't hold back the laughter. Now they're saying I need help. What do you think? |
Question: Why are most people so difficult to get along with? Posted: 30 May 2019 04:06 PM PDT Or is it perhaps me? I've always been some what of a loner. I can't say if I'm just damaged, or a social reject or not. Verbal communication is difficult for me with most people. Most people are less than kind and don't even make an effort to engage me socially or to give me the opportunity to engage them in a conversation. It's like talking to a wall, and it makes me wonder some times, why? Why don't they talk to me? What do they think of me? Is it me? is it them? I am 30 years old and don't have healthy relationships, such as a girl friend or wife (by now) or many friends. There are friends that I have, and we share deeper conversations together, I feel comfortable around them mostly.... Some times my friends indirectly remind of abnormal things I do. As I get along with my friends, but they also indirectly give me cues when I'm talking too much, or the conversation is just too "weird" or isn't working... and I don't take it as personally, because I've been able to share real things with these people and have felt a real connection. Though, with most people I lack that sort of security and it's mostly preconceptions, judgement, because they don't know me and I don't know them... and I feel like they can be so critical... My Interpersonal intelligence isn't weak I'd say though because I do empathize with people and pick up on their moods. I do open myself to different perspectives.... Yet, many people ignore me, blow me off and are so rude. Is it me? The two people I'm thinking of are sort of known to be... "difficult" or grump. So, maybe it isn't me? But, I still wonder some times... I'm just human like the rest of all of you... I'm not the most social person on the planet but I do feel that the rare individual can have a pretty incredible conversation with me. I just struggle so much to do the "average" casual conversation with people. I just don't know how and it's just hard for me to "be normal"... Well, thanks for the responses. |

Question: Feeling extremely guilty/responsible for the death of my friends pet? Posted: 30 May 2019 02:46 PM PDT We've been friends for like 10 years. We're both in college. My family moved an hour and a half away recently, and he insisted I find a summer internship in the area (my former home town). So I did, but found that his attic, which is very comfortable normally, was beginning to have a really bad insect problem. I kept waking up with bites every time I slept over (thanksgiving break, Christmas break, etc) which I told him and his family about. They weren't very proactive about it, and insisted a few months later(Easter break) that the bugs were dead since they had no blood source for the past couple of months. Well, I got bit again. I almost failed the physical for internship because they were concerned about the bites on my skin and didn't want me to be contagious (it's a hospital externship). So I got kind of upset and nicely told him that the bites were putting my internship in jeopardy and that id have to live with my other friend. He didn't want that, and basically bullied his parents into getting an exterminator. Well they did a week ago; the exterminator found that the attic had a minor infestation. today, one of their birds (they have 3) was found looking ill/in pain. It died and they think it was the pesticides. I literally watched the bird die in his mother's hands. I feel AWFUL. My internship starts on Monday, and I now feel too guilty to begin living with them for the next 10 weekdays. Advice? |
Question: It has came to my attention that I care too much about people who don't care about me.? Posted: 30 May 2019 02:20 PM PDT So there is this girl I usually talk to, but today she told me, "Do you feel I have time to study you?" in a rude way. I was like this doesn't make sense I am accustom talking to her and I am always there when she needs a friend, so at least I expected her to show some respect the same way I will still show respect for her even after this event. (A secondary point of the questions.) This is a typical behavior when her other friend(s) are with her she forgets about me, but it will be solved tomorrow when her friends are gone and she has no one else to talk to. (This part is my main point of the question, really.") This is a restart of my older post: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20190530194104AAAJQg8 as suggested by https://answers.yahoo.com/activity/questions?show=W6X24K6SASAGCO6K3QC7GKRZBI&t=g And of course NO humor is in the title, OK? |
Question: How to avoid psychopaths? Posted: 30 May 2019 11:49 AM PDT I was at the store with my baby sister and somehow one guy came in behind touching my a$$ I immediately pull towards the ground as I was this close to breakin his damn arm. Just then a manager save him from me as he know exactly what would happened next as he told him to get out of the store. Just then every customer and cashier clap as I am embarrassed to take a bow as one was saying you go girl... embarrassing |
Question: I think i'm attracted to my cousins best friend.? Posted: 30 May 2019 11:26 AM PDT I only recently went out to California to visit some family. My cousin has had his best friend since they were young kids and now they are in their 20's. Well this trip I realized how hot his friend is and was extremely sexually attracted to him. I didn't act on my emotions because my cousin is like my brother and I wouldn't want to put him in an awkward situation. What should I do? I live 5 hours away so not looking for a relationship i was just really attracted to him. |
Posted: 30 May 2019 09:53 AM PDT He told me that if were had company we would both have better years to live and that he wants to be friend with me now |
Posted: 30 May 2019 09:18 AM PDT All my "friends" ever want to do is play video games, I don't. I like to be in the outdoors, I'm always doing something like going for a run, playing sports, etc. I haven't hung out with a friend in months outside of school and other events that I'm very involved with because I don't like sitting around for 10+ hours playing video games like them. What should I do? |
Question: Do you think i should stay associated with this person? Posted: 30 May 2019 08:02 AM PDT I did talk to a friend about being bullied and made fun of in school because they find me weird. She did tell me that she will help me and she will be there for me as a friend to talk and support me. She did also say that the moment she first met me it was no surprise that people make fun of me, the way i walk and the way i behave as a person.... It's no surprise to her that im being bullied. So Looks like she just agreed with them. I don't agree though. I percieve myself as good looking, intelligent, creative, cool and i dont find anything wrong with my walk and behavior..... So I disagree with the bullies. I don't perceive myself the way they perceive me. But this girl clearly said that she finds me weird too like the bullies but she will still help me out. |
Question: Why would my friend keep on checking? Posted: 30 May 2019 07:13 AM PDT if his ex is online on social media on valentines day? |
Question: How to end a friendship? Posted: 30 May 2019 03:42 AM PDT I'm 15 and I'm friends with a very toxic and clingy girl, every time I'm with her I just feel drained and want to be away from her. She also has very bad hygiene and smells hideous, and has rotten teeth. I really don't want to be friends with her anymore but I'm not sure now to end our friendship without hurting her feelings. I'm her only friend. |
Question: Friends take bad photos of me? Posted: 30 May 2019 03:39 AM PDT I'm 15 and I have 2 friends who like to take photos of me when I'm caught off guard or eating or just at bad times in general, they save the photos to their camera roll and laugh about it together. It makes me feel ugly. I tell them to delete it but they don't listen. Sometimes they put the photos on Snapchat stories, or threaten to put the photos up for my birthday. I've told them to stop but they think it's funny, any advice? |
Posted: 29 May 2019 11:59 PM PDT Is like they always have the money and I dont I dont wanna always be that broke friend. |
Question: What does this mean? What does "outside" mean? Posted: 29 May 2019 11:57 PM PDT I was having a conversation with a friend about poets and nerdy people. I did tell him that I'm bullied in school because people think I'm nerdy and because I'm into literature and stuff. He did say something about that. He did say that there are some people who others may percieve negatively from the outside which results in bullying but when you get to know it all totally changes when we know how interesting they are and then they woudnt be bullied at all once people know them a little better. |
Question: Is this guy a pathological liar? Posted: 29 May 2019 11:55 PM PDT This friend not my friend anymore said he want to be my roommate and think I'm his best friend. But he never pay me back.He gets mad easily and doesn't have a job and live on disability welfare and he can't control he anger and wants attention and he called every single guys ugly only find himself attractive and he think he the smartest student in school and he always skip school and he doesn't go to college or have a job he living with he parents sitting at home on disability welfare and he have angered management to deal with he also make fun of the shy guy because his Asian and he always judge people about how ugly the guy can get a girlfriend and he think he dress the best . Question: I feel bad for my friend? Posted: 29 May 2019 11:37 PM PDT So we're throwing an end of a year party for high school and we do it every year. One of my friend (let's call her Sam) would be the one asking the people in class to bring food and she would spend her own money on party decors and bring homemade food. Well...a lot of people brought chips and barely half of the class brought real homemade food. The ones the brought chips complain how there's not enough real food to eat and complains about Sams decors and how extra she is. It kinda pisses me off how most of them just bring a bare minimum and then expect some people to bring real food for them and starts complaining about everything. I was texting them in a different group chat about how mean they were towards Sam because all she wanted was to throw a fun party and wanted some people to bring something else other than chips and candy when there are some people in class that spend their time and effort to bring in homemade food. I also said how they shouldn't be complaining about how lame the party is when they're the one that make it lame by telling Sam to stop bringing decors and only bringing chips like it's a salt party. I feel really bad for Sam because every time she ask them opinions about her ideas on the party, they would turn it down and make fun of her ideas. Some people in the chat actually have a heart and would defend her which is nice. She told them that she's not doing parties next year anymore and now they're mad about it (-.-). |
Question: Between my two friends, who seems more clever/witty? Posted: 29 May 2019 11:30 PM PDT I'm trying to debate which of my guy friends is more clever/witty and I'm having a hard time trying to decide. Neither of them has met the other. My first friend Greg has a trait that defines his whole personality.: Sarcasm. He's basically a wisecrack, but studies philosophy and definitely knows how to utilize great arguments in debates. My second friend Jacob likes to roast people. He's more ghetto and is great with insults. There's this one fat chick that he constantly addresses as "Lardi B." He can be quite harsh with his roasts, sometimes telling women that they look like a "Down syndrome Amy Schumer," and then telling guys that their dick has a Napoleon complex. Comparing these two, who seems more clever? |
Question: How can I live by best life my senior year? Posted: 29 May 2019 08:07 PM PDT Hello! I am approaching my very last year of high school tomorrow is my last day if senior year. I've had a very rough time with my mental health in highschool so I moved to a different school after my freshman year but it only made things worse for me. My friends no longer speak to me and I honestly do not have any friends where I live now. I know you are probably thinking that the youth just self diagnoses themselves and just get over it and make friends. But I've had social anxiety since I was in 5th grade due to some things that happened and I do go to therapy for it and I'm working my best. I've tried my hardest to make friends but it just isn't working I genuinely am alone I really only have my cat. Anyway, my freshman year was one of the best in my life because I had friends and I let my mental status cloud my vision so I made the bad decision to move away. I have sat back for the past 2 years watching everyone and my former friends really enjoy high school and spend late nights with friends and just really having fun. They say to live your teen years like you're going to die tomorrow and I really can't let myself graduate without doing that. I've never had a boyfriend and I don't even know any boys really so that sucks. What I'm asking for are tips and ideas. What are things that I can do alone to really make my senior year really worth living for. I don't want to just sit home like I have been, it is so hard without friends. Please give me some fun things to do alone |
Question: Did she embarrass him? Posted: 29 May 2019 08:00 PM PDT My sister is a sophomore in high school. Everyone at her lunch table was on a field trip today. Near the end, a blonde-haired girl who sat nearly back-to-back to her tapped her on the shoulder. After my sister turned around, the blonde asked her if she'd like to sit at their table. After my sister sat in the empty seat next to the blonde, she asked her for her name. After my sister said, "Lauren," the blonde told her that her name was Sara and then introduced the other students at her table. Sara & Lauren chatted. It was brought up how one of the kids at the table, Mark, was in Lauren's math class. Sara asked Lauren what math class she & Mark were in because he would never tell them. After Lauren answered, "Fundamentals of Geometry," everyone burst out laughing except for Mark. Lauren wasn't laughing either. "That's funny 'cuz he's a senior," Sara said to Lauren. Lauren showed me his reaction. How I'd describe it is looking sad jokingly, putting his head down, burying his face in crossed arms. How Lauren describes Mark is someone who's a class clown & uninhibited. After that event and before she told me all about it, she kinda thought about it. Now she's wondering if she embarrassed that senior guy in front of his friends. If she did, she feels bad since he's not a mean kid. Did Lauren embarrass Mark? |
Question: What do I say to my sad friend? Posted: 29 May 2019 07:21 PM PDT My friend just posted on her Snapchat that she is sick of living with her cheating father and her backwards mother. She is having trouble supporting herself and is looking for additional jobs, too. It looked like she had been crying:( She's in a bad place right now, and I don't think she was looking for someone to talk to, she said she just wanted to vent about it. So I just want to know if they're as anything I could quickly say to make her feel even a little bit better? |
Question: Am i really the one acting odd? or is the other person just crazy? Posted: 29 May 2019 07:20 PM PDT I am a recent college grad and have a conference to go to that is 3 hours away each way. my mom is insisting that she escort me there, despite not having any plans for when she gets there. she resentfully said i could take a friend instead, but I dont see the point of bringing someone with me because i will be at the conference all day. when i told her i dont need her to go with me, she got really upset and said i was acting like "a weardo" she acts like i must be doing something criminal if i dont bring her with me. i am in my mid 20s and i hate how she calls me weird/a freak for not wanting me to bring her literally everywhere i go |
