How do I get the person to understand as that means about a hundred dollars wasted on my seat. Do I offer to reimburse them? I fear when there is a wedding on my Mom's side of the family and they ask me a grandparent on my Dad's side will die and I will have to back out of the wedding and then I will not be asked to future weddings in the family cause I bailed at the last minute.
