I think he *might* like me as well. this has happened with this guy before: He stops me as he's coming out of the men's washroom, and strikes up conversation with me. We had both just gotten there, and we were about to eat. We are having a pleasant, laughter filled, engaging conversation, we hug and we talked for about 30 minutes, and then all of a sudden, he looks uncomfortable. Ill see ya!' I'm thinking 'oh sh** what did I do?' As he RUSHES BACK into the men's room he had just come out of 30 min previously. Could it have been something i had said? And also the people I've seen who are in a romantic relationship with another person seem to have a lot stronger bond with their platonic bestfriend than they do with their romantic partner. As a straight man who has been in a lot of romantic relationships with women, I've never had a strong bond with any of the women I was in a relationship with. Also my bond with my platonic bestfriends were a lot stronger than the bond I had with any of my girlfriends. I'm starting to think that having a platonic bestfriend is a lot better than having a romantic partner, since your platonic bestfriend is way more likely to be in your life till the end (unlike your romantic partner). About more than half of romantic relationships either end in a break up or divorce, while most platonic friendships don't end at all. So a romantic relationship most likely won't last till you die. But a platonic relationship will most likely last till you die. |
