One of my best friends always has this look on her face like she is very uncomfortable or she is hiding something from me my eight-year-old daughter even said something about it as soon as we left her house..... Why would she be uncomfortable around me but I always feel like she wasn't listening or she had something else on her mind every time I talk to her but now I see that she was just uncomfortable why do you think that could be hiding something from me?

Both me and my roommate put in our 30 day notice. Our set date to vacate is now 4 days away and my roommate hasnt even begun to pack, his room smells rancid and there is stuff thrown everywhere. Instead of packing he has been sleeping 24 hours straight and consistently having this girl stay over. For various reason i know they both use meth in this apartment (hince the choice to move out) and she is always showing up. With 4 days to go and an entire apartment to pack and clean I am at a standstill for what to do if my roommate does not pack and clean. Its my security deposit on the line especially since the roommate stopped paying their portion of rent and I had to pick up the tab to avoid eviction. Everytime I make mention that we need to pack and clean as say please... he becomes agressive, starts cussing and saying I cant control what he does. Thats a given but what do I do if he does not move his stuff out?

Long story short, 3 years ago I got cheated on, I dumped the guy and the side chick pretty much became a jealous stalker. Now present day, I have no contact with my ex, they're supposedly now dating or talking. As for me I'm taken and 9 months pregnant. Now she's depressed and "suicidal" because I'm expecting and she's online trying to convince people her newborn baby brother is her own. This honestly makes no sense because if she's still associated with my ex and I'm not in between then why the hell do I matter?

My roommate and I have been best friends forever, and we both are in our freshman year of college. I thought living with her would be a good idea, but I was SUPER wrong. I love her to death but she is SO LOUD ALL THE TIME. Whether it's watching K-pop dramas with no headphones (she says headphones and earbuds "irritate" her whenever I ask her to use them), SCREAMING out in laughter any time something funny happens or she reads something funny on her phone (it scares me literally every time), or even just talking and moving around the room in general; she is so loud that I wsnt to rip my ears off. She does this at all times of the day, waking me up at least once a night. My family suggested I invest in earplugs, but I don't think I should have to wear ear plugs at all times just to live comfortably in my own room. I've tried talking to her, but she takes everything to heart and had a tendency towards the "everyone hates me" mentality if she's confronted about anything negative. I don't want to switch rooms because we're halfway through the year, but I'm going insane. What do I do?

My best friend is drop dead gorgeous. I don't even know what it is exactly, I think her long silky hair and plush lips help, but there is something more. Guys fall OVER themselves because of her! I always thought I was pretty, and she always assures me I am, but it's kind of an unspoken thing that she's prettier than me. I had a guy wingman me for his friend to have a shot with her, and stop talking to me as soon as they didn't work out. Like no explanation, just stopped. I had a guy I was talking to see her, and realize she's my friend, and try to go after her. She is mexican and I'm biracial with black and white. I don't know if that matters? I feel like I have such low self esteem, even though it's not her fault. She is really a great friend. She rejected the guy who I was talking to. My lips are smaller than they should be, and my nose is bulbous but what really bothers me is that it doesn't have shape. It's just like...there. I have hooded eyelids too, with an oval face shape. I think my features would be more defined if i lost weight, but i'm seriously considering getting facial surgery. I really don't want to settle as being the "ugly best friend" guys have to wing man for. Has anyone dealt with being friends with a pretty girl? Was there anyway to make you equal in looks to her?

I have really bad anxiety even more so around her for some reason, and I feel bad but I'd like to be stay alone for a period of reflection because a lot has been happening in my life. I don't want to approach her about it either because I know I'll feel really uncomfortable but maybe this is the only alternative.

Before I start this post is not meant to brag about anything, just want your input on if i'm immune to bullying at the moment. I'm like the 4th tallest in my year level, Naturally strong af (one of the strongest). Tons of friends, funny, and everyone who has attempted to bully me i've bullied back 10x harder. In the past when I was short, and a ******* idiot I got buillied BADLY, but now that i've realised how much of a dumb **** I was I would say i'm immune to bullying. What do you think?

I recently moved out of my mother's house. When I proudly told a friend of mine, she was happy for me until I told her where I moved to. In her words, "glorified projects." I can understand if I hadn't moved there yet and therefore was just contemplating. But she completely shot me down instead of congratulating me on another stepping stone in my life. In my defense, the neighborhood is far from what she claims, as the elevators in my building are urine-free with no trash. On top of that, the area is advertised in commercials. I I don't know if she heard rumors or is jealous of my accomplishment. Either way, that was uncalled for.

I'm 30 and I am incredibly lost just incredibly lost and am looking for advice from someone who found themselves. I find that I cling to anything that's certain because I am so uncertain. This has caused me to have no friends for my entire life as I'm rejected in any situation and zero sex. I get fired from jobs and have not gotten a job in almost a year getting rejected from the lowest paying jobs in my area. If I see a good acting performance or musical performance I find that I have to imitate them, which made me a good impressionist. If I see be yourself in the answers I will punch a wall. This may be kindergarten for you but it's not for me.

My friend that I've known for four years, best friend for two... left me. I cannot explain the feeling. When your best friend leaves you for her boyfriend. Her boyfriend is spreading rumors about me and I always let it go but it makes my life hell in high school. Even though we're not really friends anymore, I would never tell her about it because shes happy and I could never chance taking that away. I dont understand why her boyfriend hates me. I feel like crap and I'm overall really struggling... please give me advice. I miss my best friend so much.. so so much

So I was invited by my sister to join her, my two cousins, and a friend of theirs to go on a group trip. I agreed to, and she created a group chat for all of us. I have been trying to post deals, however barely anybody responds. Then they say we should buy the flight ticket later as the price might drop on a specific day/time - that day comes, and the flight's prices increases/sell out. :/ Then everyone goes silent again. Now I've been a part of a lot of group trips before - usually silence means things aren't going to work out. Should I just cancel out now?

me and my friend are both texting this guy ,but he talks to each of us different. he talks to her about what he likes and things about himself. when he texts me he talks about how bad he would F the **** out of me and every naughty thing he wants to do to me. I dont talk to him about sex and never brought it up but all he does it changes the subject to sexual things. So my best friend is younger then me buy a lot. He is 19 and I am in my 30s already. But the point is he is like a little brother to me. I really feel close to him, and I respect him a lot. He does not have a ton of friends and he is very smart and grown up for his age. Most the time we talk about much more mature subjects. The thing is I really care lots more for him then other friends and he is the only friend that always says yes when I ask if he wants to go somewhere or do something. He is the only person I even can talk to about real personal issues. I also had a younger brother who died around his age in an accident, and I feel like this guy is a new younger brother to me. We have been friends for a few years now, but over the last year we have gotten really close. I do not have anyone else in life that I am close with and I literally have him in my will. I want to see him succeed in life so bad, and I want him to realize all his dreams. I feel like I want to protect him and take care of him, even though he is an adult and can take care of himself. I want to make sure he does not have to live a life of depression and sadness like I have. I care so much that I can honestly say I love him, and I do not mean in a gay way, but in a I have a little brother who looks up to me kind of way. I never choose to have my little brother die, but I am so happy having someone who fills that role again. Also I am single and do not have a family of my own, so don't give me crap for having him in my will. I literally have nobody else.
