I went out drinking with a few coworkers and our newest girl was flirting with me a lot. Naturally I flirt back but I kept my cool and I didn't take it any further than that. Problem is I think she likes me and I don't see myself with her as more than a friend in the long run. But I sometimes entertain the idea of dating her because it would be fun and I haven't dated anyone in a while. Next time I might give in and hook up with her but deep down I feel like it's probably not a good idea. We're obviously going to be hanging out a lot more so I can't just avoid her, nor do I want to. I had a male doctor and he kept pointing out how I seemed tense or nervous and that I was "acting like he was about to get me" and a couple times he had to say he wasn't going to hurt me. I have noticed I am like this around male teachers or other adult males at times too. If one puts a hand on my shoulder or something (not even in a creepy way), I get very uncomfortable and might flinch. When they touch me or get close I really feel nervous. I have plenty of opportunities to be with other guys but I can't bring myself to, because I want to give myself to this guy. However in a few months (when he comes back) I'm guessing my feelings for him will only grow. Thus, you would think this is the perfect guy. This is where the issue comes in: I'm going off to college soon. And him being a soccer player he's only gonna be here in the beginning of summer and then he's going to Germany. This means that this will likely not result in a relationship. I'm scared that after losing my virginity I'm going to become attached and hurt when we have to separate. The two that had their own rooms left and me and my current roommate named Eva who is still there each have our own room now. Its only two us of. So last semester one of the girls always had her boyfriend over and they were loud, throwing parties, dirty, and having sex loud. We've only been exclusive for about a week, so of course it's very early days, very very early days - however, we've had sex pretty much every time we see each other. Despite sex not being the primary foundation of our relationship, I'm worried that it will soon become that way - I want us to go on more dates, as well as having nights in together, etc. Is it too soon to have this conversation with him - considering that we've only been exclusive for a week? (we're both busy university students also). Or should I give things more time and see what happens? I feel as though I've always had quite high standards in relationships - maybe sometimes a little too high, something I'm working on. Although he has popped in to say hi, that he wants to see me again, and then again to say he's sorry he hasn't been around and that he's busy with kids sick. I'm assuming he wouldn't let me know why he hasn't been in contact lately if he was blowing me off. I have texted just hello and pics. Should I ask him if he's still interested or is that clingy? |

Posted: 14 Mar 2018 04:11 PM PDT there's this guy that likes me & i like him back. it took me a while to realize why but now i know. there is just one teeny tiny problem. we've never actually had a face to face conversation. he's extremely shy & sometimes so am i. we're afraid we could say the wrong thing, or make it more awkward. we text once in a while but it's usually always "hows your day going" & that's basically it. now here's the thing. we have spring break in a week or so & one of my friends talks to him. she used to like him until she found out he liked me but he never liked her. (i feel like she still may like him but it's okay) so i overheard her say something about maybe inviting him to her house & i felt a little.. i don't knwo how to describe it but i didn't like it. i'm so afraid that if we like each other yet neither of us make a move as to talk, he'll end up not liking me anymore & like some other girl. he's tried talking to me before, but something always ends up happening to where he leaves & it's too late. he confuses me honestly. i never know if he still likes me or not... i've never had good luck with guys; he's the first that is actually super sweet & kind. Do you have any advice for me ? |
| Posted: 14 Mar 2018 03:59 PM PDT This girl I liked in High School and talked to a little, texted me out of the blue apologizing for not saying hi because she was shy when she saw me while I was working a little while ago. I didn t really expect that text because I didn t see her while I was working haha. But she suggested to catch up I said sounds good, and we made plans for dinner on Monday. Monday rolled around she cancelled because she was sick and she said she didn t want to get me sick. She said she isn t flaking because she really does want to hang out. So we reseheduled for tonight for dinner, I am picking her up at her house after 8 when she gets out of work. She texted me this morning if we were still on, I said yes made plans for dinner and I said it would be my treat. She said we can split the check, she feels bad making me pay for it all. I said if you want to split the check. She said we can talk about it later and that she is still a little nervous and shy and so she might be a little quiet at first. I was just assuming we were going to catch up, but I kinda want to surprise her and do something fun along with dinner like it is a date, but don t want to make myself look stupid by thinking it is a date. |

| Question: Does my crush like me? Posted: 14 Mar 2018 03:32 PM PDT My friend always catches him staring at me and she tells me that whenever I pass by he stares. I get really excited at that thought, but then I wonder if he thinks I'm weird because I stare at him a lot or something (I usually take quick glances at him and then look away). One time I caught him staring at me when I was going to take a quick glance at him but already found that he was already staring at me so we made eye contact for a few seconds but then I looked away because I was embarrassed. My friend talked to him a few times and when she talked to him the first time he asked about me and I was getting all giddy and stuff. My friends encouraged me to text him the FIRST time and I beat my fears and sent him a hi (well technically my friend did on my phone) and we talked for a bit but I guess he's shy because it wasn't much of a conversation. One time during a field trip at a church my friend told me he was staring at me and she gave him a smirk and then went up to him and told him she caught him staring at me but he denied it, probably because he's shy. But there are rumours that he likes this girl but when my friend asked him he said that he doesn't like her because she's a slut (which is true). So.. my friends tell me that he likes me, do you guys think so? |

Posted: 14 Mar 2018 03:23 PM PDT I got this latina that works at this store next to where i live and everytime i go in she smiles at me and i've been wanting to get her # but she's always busy with the next customer or around a bunch of coworkers and idk waht to do. I think she likes me but idk she laughed the other day when said hey and i was like "hola" being the goofy gringo that i am but idk I could add her on facebook cuz ik her name and she's showed up in my suggestions for friends but idk if that'd be weird or not or if it'd be even worse if i tried to hit on her at work around her coworkers any tips? |
