I stopped hanging out with him and stuff because he's annoying and brought me and my boyfriend apart and caused negative impacts on us. I told my partner that I am not friends with him anymore (which is true) and I have no intention of being friends with him anymore. The thing is, my partner does not want me even near him or in a conversation with him because he does not like him and what he's done in the past (almost causing us to break up) which I understand, that's why I'm not friends with him either because I respect my partner, but personally I think he's being too controlling. He pushed me aside if the guy comes near us and gets mad if I say a word to him. Is his too controlling? Should I just listen to my boyfriend and stay away or should I talk to him about trusting me and letting me at least wave at him? |

Then on Tuesday when I asked him if he still wanted to hang out this weekend, He told me he's not sure because he might be out of town, and I asked him if he still wanted to hang out or if he was delaying because he didn't. He said he was sorry he made me feel bad and said we could just be friends, so I told him that I really liked him and he said he wasn't sure if he liked me or not because we haven't met so I asked him to go on a date with me and he said ok but now we haven't talked much, and he left me on read yesterday and we haven't talked since SO THEN, I consulted my friend about it and she told me to not pursue or persist him so much and not talk to him and let him talk to me first and give him some space because I always talk to him and I ask him all these questions which might result in me scaring him off. We're both pretty shy people I think and he doesn't seem to express his feelings quite yet because we haven't met, but he's a good person and very sweet and I'm afraid if I don't make the first move our 'sort of' relationship is going to fizzle out because of me waiting on him, but also I don't want to ruin it because I don't want to scare him off, and maybe he might be waiting on me for me to make the first move! Like its quite obvious we both have things for eachother. Plus, before we officially started chatting, his friend was trying to set us up together but at the time I had another man. Now onto the most embarrassing thing ever. Basically, me and my friends decided to go on a quick grocery store run and my friend chose the supermarket that her crush works at so she could see him. We agreed to help a girl out. Little did I know my crush was working there too and happened to be working at the same time. We walk into the store and spot a mutual friend who winks at me and my friend knowing that our crushes are working today. We spot my friends crush and talk to him a bit and then all of a sudden my crush shows up. A wave of pure fear just hits me and I turn visibly bright red while everyone is looking at me. He also said he wasnt paying child support so that was a issue why he couldnt see me. Recently i went to my hometown where he lived and he said he wanted to meet up with me again because i havent seen him in about 15 years. So I called him and he didnt pick uo when i got there then i texted him. He finally picked up after I called him Restricted. He told me to meet him somewhere close by so I went and he never showed him and he said he'll call me when he gets off at 3:30 and never did. I was so upset cause i was really counting on him. She was absolutely stunning, it makes me feel flustered and bashful just thinking about her. I developed a really big crush on her. And at the time I met her through volunteering at a food pantry. I was helping stock all of the donated food on the shelves. And she caught my attention and I grew very fond of her. Together we had very intelligible conversations and I loved the way she would express herself. She was very extravagant and mild mannered. She was very subtle and held things at a certain level of discretion it was absolute perfection. Anyhow over several weeks of interactions with her I felt extremely attracted to her. Even so much that I no longer had to do community service because I had already logged all of my hours, but I wanted to go back just because of all the fond memories we shared together. Or at least I considered them good times. I never really knew how she felt. Well several weeks of our interactions we were being watched by the volunteer coordinator. The person who would sign off on my hours and monitor to make sure I was there all 6 hours each day of the weekend. Now given I no longer had to keep going and the coordinator knew this he started to pick up that I really liked the girl so he cut off our hours and told us not to come back until the same season next year (fall). So I waited and when I went back I never saw her again. When I went back I was completely devastated and I felt like it was a waste of time the entire time being there. I had so much time and energy invested. I felt like it was all in vain and all was lost. So I kept coming each weekend hoping she would show. But she never showed the whole time. It was a lot of manual labor it still felt like a good thing. But it would have been that much better having her company. It felt like the whole situation really keyed with my emotions. And I just haven't felt the same since even though it was almost 5 years ago. |

Posted: 29 Mar 2018 04:11 PM PDT So there's this guy I like a lot (15, I'll call him M), and I told my mum a few weeks ago that he asked me out, but she said I'm not allowed to date until I'm 16 (I'm 14). M and I started dating anyways, unknown to both of our mums (his dad knows but won't tell anyone) and we've been going for a month (it's been going really well besides the mum issue). He asked me to go with him and his dad for a 4 day trip during spring break to the beach and six flags. Just a couple days ago my phone broke, so if I couldn't go on the trip with him, I won't be able to make plans to see him afterwards. I asked my mum and she said I can't hang out with boys at all, which is really disheartening to hear because I only hang out with guys (not many girls and I get along at the school, not sure why. It's a bit of a preference to be around guys as well). Two days ago a family member died and I haven't been able to talk to anyone for support since my phone broke, which is a reason I want to hang out with M during spring break (to be able to talk to someone, I don't do well alone), but I can't get that to my mum. today she threatened to make me move schools again (she's made me move schools and cut contact with many friends), which is giving me a lot of anxiety because I'm really close to M as he's one of the only people who I can confide in. I've spoken to a school counselor for suggestions about how to get to my mum but nothing works, so at least suggestions on how to handle this would be useful |

So I am 18, I have 2 girlfriends and both know about each other. One is 20 and the other is 16. If you don't know what a poly relationship is, in short its based on trust more than anything. I allow my girlfriends to do date others if they want, i just ask them to tell me so i can make sure they aren't assholes and will use them. Anyways the 16 year old made out with a guy from work who is 25. I said stop this now because it is illegal. She said she stopped it. 3 months later i realize She lied to me evem after i repeatedly asked her if anything was still going on. I started to threaten this guy to never talk to her again and quit his job as the manager or else i would call police and his pregnant wife. So he is out of the picture but now i have this decision. Should i give my girlfriend another chance because she is 16, she is young, when i was 16 i was stupid She told me that yes it is her fault for doing sexual things with him (oral sex) and told me in the beginning she believed it was her fault but then he started to force himself onto her and she let it happen. She said that she felt i loved the 20yr old more than her and she felt lonely and thats why she said she did it but told me that she now knows that i love her just as much as my other girlfriend now and that she was wrong. So what should I do? |

I've been pretty close to being in three fairly serious relationships and every time I just stop trying or give up because I feel SUFFOCATED. I feel really selfish for saying that too, but I cannot describe it any other way. Right now, I'm seeing this guy, absolutely nothing wrong with him. He's funny, interesting, nice. But I'm starting to feel locked in, AGAIN. I'm awful and I feel so guilty about it, but I'm about to graduate and I just want to keep all my options open, not be stuck. Is anyone else like this? I met him the beginning of February we started off as friends and I'm guessing he started to like me so the week after Valentine's Day he broke up with her and told her that he had met me. For Valentine's Day he bought her a bag full of bath nd body works,shoes,card and took her out. But from what he told me is that he left here because her family didn't like him and she basically let them control her. He also told me that they worked together and that's how they met. Other than that he said she was a sweet girl and she loved hard. Yesterday my boyfriend let me use his phone while we were out and i saw that he had texted his ex the night before at 8:30. His text said "hey how are you doing" (she didn't text back) as i went through their text log and started reading i could tell this girl loved him just by her words. The day after we made our relationship official he texted her and asked her was she at work that day (I'm guessing he wanted to see if she was at work so that he could see her...idk) i also saw text messages from days where we were going out and she had texted him telling him she missed him and he said he missed her too and the Friday we were supposed to see each other she asked to see him and they were making plans to hang out with each other. But ever since we have been a couple their texts have died down so I'm guessing he's starting to distance himself from her. |
