So my friend whose a guy asked me to go out on Saturday just to town nothing uno that special Or anything we literally are ONLY friends because he used to date my cousin and we became friends they aren't together anymore but we are still friends Should I tell my mom I'm going to go with him or just go without telling her? If I do tell her how should I tell her

I know there's probably not much I can do. But I guess I'll just ask. My roommate had drugs and caused our home to be searched. The phone WAS INSIDE THE HOUSE before both of us were told to walk outside and wait. When I went back in, my phone was gone. It was locked in my bedroom. They tore apart the house and took cash and my phone. I had nothing to do with the situation and now they've only added to my stress. PS - They didn't list it as something they took, and they left multiple other cheap laptops and cell phones in the house. They only took the brand new expensive one.

When my sister or mom, or even me or my sister are having a legit argument (not just a verbal spar or passionate debate- but those do annoy me) I just shut off. I put my headphones on and ignore the problem best I can- even when my sister punches me or cries or stuff like that. I just can t stand it and try to avoid arguments like that at all costs even though they happen at least once a month. Even arguments between other people I can t stand. Anyone care explaining why?

I got jealous once when we were friends when we were first married and i was getting to know them . His sister would chat with his brothers girlfriends all day long and wouldnt even give me the time of day to answer a direct question . She also would take family trip picture and not include me ,brother too . So i asked about it and ever since I am the family social media drama queen but if I left their spouses out like that it would be world war 3 . Idk i dont want to be friends anymore on it but they won't even let me talk to my neice on social media . What would you do ,or just let it go ? I have even apoligized . I am just tired of being labeled as the fb drama queen of their family . I dont even talk to them hardly anymore .

Well I just got in an argument with my gf , we barely started living with each other , it's been 4 months and a few times of the month she has ran out of money. So I give her a few hundred bucks to keep her a float and paid for her surgery a couple of necessary things she has and what not which isn't a problem because I know she doesn't make a lot of money. But the issue is she is having trouble staying above water and I can't afford to bail her out all the time and she tells me she needs money for this months bills , she and her parents are on the same phone plan and she pays all 221 dollars a month on it . I tell her it's ridiculous and to tell her parents to get thier own line and she get upset cuz she wants to help her parents because only the dad works and has trouble staying above water. But In my mind my gf has her own house and own bills to worry about and we both can't afford these expensive expenses . On a side not her brother and sister still live with her parents but do not contribute or help her dad . My question is am I being mean or am I helping my gf by understanding that she's spending to much money

LONG STORY SHORT I've been in a almost 5 year relationship and it great! we are in love. The only continuing problem is his family who still doesn't me... (well his older sister and his mom "kinda") for what reason you ask? I STILL HAVE NO IDEA. Recently his older sister said "i hate bitches with attitude" (obviously implying it to me) since noone was in the room but me and the parents. I let it go... I have gone out of my way to talk to them, hash things out, tried to turn the other check be nice BUT i'm getting over it. I feel bad for my boyfriend because he is torn.. I dont know what do anymore. I have tried EVERYTHING! I mean i have never gotten a birthday text or anything from his side of the family but im the one reaching out to them... any advise?

So my dad 'works' at home, but half the time I see him, he is not even doing his work but instead he is on ebay (or online shopping) buying garbage he doesn't need (like golf clubs, mens suits, shirts, formal wear, watches) with money he doesn't have to try and impress people he doesn't like. Does anybody else have this problem

So i've Been smoking weed for 4 years now. I'm 16 years old and i've been doing it long enough that it takes at least a whole bowl to get me high unless it's dank ****. I walk talk and act like a stoner and my mom doesn't know some how 🤣. My mom has caught me numerous times in the past and every single time she like flips out. I love smoking weed because it helps with my depression and anxiety which was diagnosed to me 2 years back. My mom has mentioned things to me recently, such as, "I bet your smoking marijuana at your friends house!" (Of course she was mad) otherwise she really has no idea. I just want to convince her to let me smoke bud because even if she catches me again I'm just going to do it again anyways. I don't even go to school... I do online school. When my parents are at work is usually when I smoke. I'm just tired of having to hide it, like I'm okay with limitations such as no smoking in the house, don't let her see it, and don't get caught, ect... so someone please give me a little advice. What should I do to get my mom to let me smoke? She's very stubborn so it's not an easy task to convince her. Someone please help

As a young female child I used to be so kind and bubbly, and I used to be able to go up to a random person and say hello. But as I started to get into my teenager years things changed. I am so quiet and gullible, and so so soooo awkward. I ve started to get cold hearted with my family and just want to shut everyone out. I care about dating boys now, and I used to think boys were gross!! I just have been going to happy then sad, and for some reason I want to be correct all the time..... I feel like I m the only one dealing with this problem. Everyone at school seems so fun and normal. People say "oh ur a teenager" but it feels like everyone else is fine except me. I feel alone!!!

Growing up, I've been raised with very strict Muslim parents who rarely let me enjoy life. When I was a child, they never allowed me to have fun with friends such as having sleep overs, going to the park, or even talk to them on the phone. When I was in high school, they never let me go to any parties or school dances or anything that was considered fun for a teenager. I usually stayed cooped up in my room playing video games but they began having a problem with that as well. They expect me to study 24/7 so I can become successful and take care of them. I understand that they want what is best for me but I feel that they want me to become just like them when I'm older and sadly that is what I am becoming. My dad is overweight, has no friends, has anger problems, and lives the same bland life everyday. Now I am in community college, I am overweight (I have been going to the gym lately though), I have social anxiety, I have depression, and I feel so lonely. My dad is also not helping because he decided to put a tracker on my phone to know where I am at all times and he put a time limit on my phone and PS4 that I paid for. I don't have the means to be able to move out yet and I'm just trying to toughen this out until I transfer colleges but I feel as if I'm going insane and I'm wasting my youth. I just need advice on how to handle my situation. I'm sorry if I sound like an ungrateful son but I just can't handle this anymore. Thank you to anyone who reads this.
