Question: Adding mother s maiden name to surname experience in California~OC or LA? Posted: 15 Mar 2018 09:25 PM PDT Hello, I am asking to hear about other s experiences in adding their mother s maiden to your own surname, specially those living in Orange County or LA area. Looked up the procedure and was wondering mostly how the court hearing plays out. And about how long it takes. |
Question: Dysfunctional family...? Posted: 15 Mar 2018 09:21 PM PDT I came from a covertly highly emotionally abusive family...especially my mom the covert narcissist..I suspect covert emotional incest too. I intend to keep her out of my family when I have one. How do I convince or tell my future wife she must stay away and not fall for her evil charm... that woman really damaged me an still healing. |

Posted: 15 Mar 2018 01:56 PM PDT Me and my husband been married for 6 years we have a six-year-old and and now I m pregnant with our second baby seven and a half months while pregnant has been acting weird and we always have been up and down in our marriage now that I m pregnant he is very distant, rude, don t want to touch me, he s rejects me sexually and he just kept thinking on his own projects like his car we are struggling financially so I had to start working a week ago it never happened before when I approached him sexually he will not react, now he does for the third time I think this pregnancy make him realized that probably don t want more responsibility he complains that this is too much stress when we all plan what was going to happen Now he even say he gets all gross up and he dont feel like touching me so i felt really hurt and slapped him in the face but im more afraid of his true feelings and dont want to say. I dont know what to do feel hurt and lonely |
Question: Is marriage a trade-off between a womans good years and her bad years? Posted: 15 Mar 2018 01:02 PM PDT In other words, she gives you her good years when she has a tight, young, and firm body, and then you put up with her in her bad years? Posted: 15 Mar 2018 10:23 AM PDT Siitting in jail right now because they were falsely accused of rape or have had their ex spouse, turn their children against them One example. My sister and ex brother in law. This guy is a perdiatrician and owned his own practice in Florida. He was married to my sister for 11 years before she cheated on him and then left him for some dude making minimum wage at Home Depot. The courts awarded her child custody, half the income from his business as alamony and their house. But then she just sells the house and moves to Maryland with her new boyfriend, making it difficult for him to even see his kids. Don't get me wrong, I love my sister but wrong is wrong. Another example....I have a friend who while at a House party where everyone was consuming liquor, I personally whitenessed a woman walk up to him, grab his crouch and pulled him into on a nearby room. Come to find out a day later, this guy's charged with rape on the basis that he took advantage because she was too drunk to consent, despite the fact that he too was drunk. Of course my testimony didn't mean sh?t as the prosecutor spun it like I was too drunk to know what I was whitenessing and that guy ended up serving 3 years in prison |

Question: How to reply when husband says he’s not my number one? Posted: 14 Mar 2018 10:50 PM PDT How to reply when when husband says he's not my number one? We've had a rough time the last few years and I don't know what to say to make him know that he is my number one. |
Question: Wife wants to be a stay at home mom and I said NO!!? Posted: 09 Mar 2018 12:42 AM PST My question is am I asking too much. I have a 7 year old step daughter and a 9 month old son. We can afford the $450 in childcare with my paycheck alone right now no problem. I asked my wife to start looking for a job and she got annoyed with me. She doesn't want my son to go to a very good day care on a military installation. I trust my sons life and health at the business. My wife said she won't work full time because she doesn't want him there. I've asked her to have an open mind about it and I don't know any person I trust to provide childcare so day care was the only option I saw. There are no part time jobs where we stay. We drive 40 minutes to the nearest city so the gas alone wouldn't be worth part time work for us. She still refused and I told her i don't need her to be a stay at home mother. I am a father. I have the same responsibilities you do and I will be fulfilling them when I'm off which gives you ample time to earn extra income. I'm not asking her to break her back but we would benefit more and I'm here to help. After quitting school 4 times and 4 jobs in 3 years I've had enough. She planned on staying home until my son was in school. She has plenty of time for work, relaxation, and investment. Am I asking too much especially when our work schedules would allow this to work? |
Posted: 08 Mar 2018 11:04 PM PST Does time parent time spent in these areas count, say for ex a sport: - helping learning the skill in the first place (playing catch in the yard or passing a soccer ball) - building, buying, or aquiring tools of the trade to help make progress (backyard shooting nets, balls, gloves, bats, pads, cleats, specialty equipment) - going to the practice, watching the child, having conversations later to help them understand what they did well and their shortcomings. - watching professional athletes live or on TV with the kid to help them understand how its done at top levels (could be college sports as well or even going to high school games) - coaching the team, assisting the coach, donating time to help the league Often, these activities add up to a bunch of effort. While they most certainly help the child socially in building friendships, confidence, and lifelong excercise skills, does the time this parent exert count in the same way that washing dishes, or doing the laundry count? What about other areas where one parent teaches a child? Say piano, guitar, or another instrument. Teaching painting, writing, acting? Math, Reading, Science? How to read maps and chart out trips? |
Question: Wife hair messy stumbling drunk is she cheating? Posted: 08 Mar 2018 10:46 PM PST i picked her as normal at work at 9m as the normal only thing was on my way this time she was stumbling drunk walking across the street light, she could barely stand straight, and her was all messy her hair was all bushy |
Question: Married people, don't you miss privacy and having your own space all to yourself? Posted: 08 Mar 2018 08:56 PM PST Why I will never live with anyone. Pets are no drama (they don't argue/judge) and can be tamed (big factor for me). My ex wanted to sleep over at times. I told him I need my space. We text! And I saw him last week. I dont understand the need to live together. Help? I only wish i can get a kid that is 100 percent me. 100 percent my genes. No other person's genes. I'd spend my every penny. But for now, I think I'll be childless forever. |
Posted: 08 Mar 2018 08:52 PM PST Many couples are struggling with this. Articles say women are overburdened at home, and men are picking up the slack but need to do more. There are certainly some cut and dry cases where one person does way more work, but there also seems to be many (at least in our friends / family) who are trying to share the load. This is for the better of everyone I think, but let's understand the whole picture, the entirety of what goes into daily life. Physical tasks, emotional tasks, routine tasks, irregular, etc. Please help me understand this in your family and relationships. I am seeking to understand modern life and my role in it better, broaden my perspective, as well as understand ALL the tasks that make a household function. I am trying to create a comprehensive list to understand this issue better, please help by sharing the tasks and chores you all do. What are all the areas that husbands do, wives? What are some areas commonly overlooked - tasks that each partner does but may not get "credit" for? The obvious chores seem to be assigned more weight, but should they be? Yes, cooking and dishes are daily, but what about who drops off the kids and picks them up at school? Is helping with homework considered a household chore? What about situations where a task is valued more by one party than the other, and the other person tries to help but is told they didn't do it right (or not well enough)? And finally, how do we assign value to these? Time? Patience? |
