Question: Friend trouble help! I have no clue what to do.? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 05:13 PM PST My best friend told me she's going to start sitting with another group of people at lunch sometimes. Nothing happened, we were fine. She said I was her best friend still but the other girl was also her best friend. I keep asking her who's more of her best friend and that you can't really have more than one best friend, only good friends. And that we're going to grow apart if she starts sitting somewhere else too. She says she can have more than one best friend and she likes us equally and she can't choose. There's no one else I can really have as a best friend and she still wants to stay best friends but I don't know if I can do this if she's going to be switching between us all the time because I know that she's going to choose one of us one day. I don't know what to do. Who's right here? Can you have more than one best friend? Should I leave and find new friends or stay and hope for the best?
Question: Problems with friends? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 04:41 PM PST I have a group of friends but lately I have been hanging out with another girl. I still hang out w my group of friends but yesterday I hung out with this other girl and my friends got mad at me. They now think that I like this girl more than them. I told them that I wouldn't leave them for her and that I love them but something feels like they're still mad at me. What should I do??

Question: Is this what real friends do? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 04:13 PM PST I saw the guy I like while I'm hanging out with my friends. My friends were really rude toward him which he doesn't deserve. I told one of my friends how they talked about him made me feel awkward and uncomfortable. All they did was talk shi* about him. I told her next time just say she doesn't like him and talk about something else and ask her if she can do that for me. She said she's gonna speak her mind. I don't feel like she's going to respect my wishes, my feelings and boundaries.
Question: Was my friend being rude or am I overreacting? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 01:43 PM PST I got accepted into a program but I could not complete it because I live with my mom and brother and they told me they can't pay the bills without me working. I can't be a full time student and that program requires a full time student. I quit the program this semester and I was looking for a job. For 3 months I was out of work but thankfully I found a job now. I will start working next week. Yesterday I was talking to my friend and she was asking me what I am doing. I told her I couldn't go with my sister in law and her baby to the playground because I was tired. And my friend was like "Oh God, I guess when people don't work they get lazy. I came out from my job and I am at the playground with my nephews wearing my uniform from work." She made it seem like I just sit at home. Was she being rude? that day I was tired from the drug screening, flu shot and all the paperwork need also I was driving from hospital to hospital because they were sending to different locations
Question: Am I crazy for stomping at my downstairs neighbor? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 12:33 PM PST So this guy moved in about a year ago and I specifically chose to live on the top floor because I can t stand hearing people stomping above me. This guy comes home and slams the front door wide open at all hours of the night. Has zero regard that there are people living around him. Every morning at about 8:30 am, he smokes weed and it comes through the air vents which is then followed by a large amount of air freshener. We live in a no smoking community. ANyways, the guy walks SO LOUD that it literally shakes my furniture and I live above him. I understand this is apt living but I have a baby and he always a nervous wreck because of the stomps and bangs and is always being woken up. I wrote the guy a letter and he seemed super kind and said he would be more aware. Last night it happened, and it wasn t pst 10 pm which is quiet hour but it was 9:30. Regardless i m tired of hearing it. I ve tried to communicate directly to no avail. So last night super irritated I stomped so loudly and slammed my front door back. to show the guy, one its loud and disruptive and two. i live above you. so if you want to be a jerk i ll be one right back. i kind of feel stupid today for stomping so loud back and am wondering if i was out of line or if you would do the same? only four more months left on my lease and i intend to move to a house.
Question: Not sure if this was the right thing to say? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 10:56 AM PST The other day my friend was feeling down and I asked him "why such the long face?" There's nothing wrong with asking that... usually. But the thing is my friend is very insecure about his face, so at the time I didn't realize how insensitive I was being. Is it my fault for being offensive or is he somewhat at fault because he got so offended? Is he being too sensitive? Or are we both to blame?
Question: It's not possible to avoid this subject in life? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 10:22 AM PST I posted a while ago, about how to handle people who judge me for not drinking. Unsurprisingly, I was pummeled with lots of trolls blaming ME, saying things like: "Why do you bring up the subject then!!!!???" -I'm pretty sure I'm right when I say: As an ADULT, you can NOT avoid the subject coming up at least once with each person u hang with. If you go to a restaurant: boom, alcohol. If you go to party: Boom, alcohol. Co-workers wanna hang out later? Boom, alcohol. It doesn't mean everyone's an alcoholic or that I bring up the subject—it's just a normal part of ADULT life. Were the people who attacked me on YA not adults, I assume? There are lots of teens and PRETEENS on this board, right? **My question is: It's not possible to avoid this subject in life, right?
Posted: 10 Mar 2018 10:05 AM PST looks like. I wink at him at school. I did this for 2 years. I only do this one or twice a month or week. But one time after I went to bed I heard the back door close and heard my brother come up the stairs. Do you think that.................
Question: I can't tell if I'm overreacting or not. I have a lengthy story below if? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 08:48 AM PST So me and my mom have been fighting a lot, both of our faults really. Today is my birthday, she was very nice and happy all day till she noticed honor roll was posted. I got bad grades last term, we've already fought about it, but she dramatically read all of my friends names, (and the name of one girl Allie who told me she hated me and didn't want to speak to me ever again the day before my birthday last year), and said I must have actually put effort into not getting on the honor roll. I called her cruel and mean and told her this was unnecessary as I already knew I wasn't on honor roll, and she said it was cruel of me to make any excuses for not getting on it. I tried to tell her another way like, "Hey, honor roll was posted and you're not on it. I'm disappointed and think you didn't try hard enough in school. Next term/this term I want you to really focus so you succeed in life." She started going off about how she was familiar with my stupid dramatics and I pointed out she'd just read off the names of my friends telling me everyone but me is on honor roll. So who's right? Am I over reacting, is she justified?
Question: How do I stop being bullied? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 08:31 AM PST I tried telling my friends but they just tell me "If you cant take a little bullyin as a kid you're soft"
Question: How can I turn myself into a clone of the "popular" people everybody likes? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 08:24 AM PST I'm only asking this because I've gone through years of social rejection. It makes me feel like I'm not good enough for the right group of friends even at my age (25). I want to be a clone of the "popular" women because they are happier than me, mentally stable, and everybody likes them. On social media, I saw women celebrating International Women's day with their friends the other, and it makes me feel sad because some women my age secretly hate me or just aren't interested in a friendship with me. I'm not ashamed admit that I still have self esteem issues at my age due to not fitting in. I don't see why people expect me to feel good about myself when people used to treat me like crap in the past and not include me for being different from other girls. Why should I be happy if nobody likes me for who I am? I would actually be proactive and look elsewhere rather than complaining, but I dislike starting over. I'm scared of going through even more social rejection. I even attempted to talk to a few people from my old high school and college to avoid this, but it seems like they aren't interested. I actually asked a question on here about paying for friends, but now I see that I was being ridiculous because you cant buy friends and you'll attract vultures.
Question: Should I just go see him for one day? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 07:45 AM PST There is this guy who lives in another state he and I are friends. We hook up for sex and I haven't saw him since July. I'm in school though and can't miss class. But I really want to see him should I just go see him for a day and then go back again when I have more time?
Question: Why to do about my guy friend? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 07:19 AM PST ive been talking to this guy for a few years. but i recently found out he told his friends that i have a nice body but hideous face. and i think that is the only reason why he talks to me

Question: Why did it feel like this? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 04:17 AM PST The other day I was at my friend s house, ready to go to a meeting with his mother. Shortly after I arrived, my friend came out to the kitchen (at the back of the house) and greeted me. We talked for a few minutes before I left for the meeting with his mother. While we were talking, I felt a sense of peace and comfort and it just felt so natural and normal to talk alone with him in his home. It normally feels really awkward when I talk to other people in the same sort of situation. So why did it feel so different with him? Why did it feel like it was just us two and so calm/comforting?
Question: Is it possible to study two different subjects at one time? Posted: 10 Mar 2018 03:20 AM PST I'm in Dental Assisting school which is Monday through Thursday from 8:00am until 1:00pm. And I enrolled into a Massage Therapy program which is only on Friday's from 10:00am until 2:00pm. I was in Massage school before I started Dental Assisting. I had to quit because it was too far away from where I stay. So I decided to go Dental Assisting school instead. But then I found out about another Massage school that's closer to me. The Dental Assisting program is a year long and the Massage Therapy program is two years.
Posted: 09 Mar 2018 10:42 PM PST My friend had her moms boyfriend abusing her. CPS and the police confirmed that only she was in danger, but her sister was safe. This guy had free time with both kids, but she was more tricked by him than the little girl. Usually it's the little kids who get hurt by people because they don't know as much. This guy specifically only wanted to get her, but not the sister. Could she have been more naive ?
Question: What’s it like to be a girl with sisters? Posted: 09 Mar 2018 10:27 PM PST I only grew up with younger brothers.
