We have been out on a good 6 to 7 dates now. Until the last two dates, he always paid for everything. On my second to last date with him, he gave out the idea to watch a movie. He was running late and while waiting for him he asked me to get the tickets. When he came he paid for snacks. On our date earlier today he asked me if I was hungry. I said yes, we went to a hookah place with food. He ordered a hookah (I don't really smoke) and we ordered a plate where we shared together. In the car earlier he had claimed that he was not sure this place accepted card and that he didn't know if he had enough cash. I said I might have some cash on me. Anyways fast forward he mentioned he didn't have his wallet with him. When the check comes he is like I don't have my card on me. And I offered to pay. I would like to note that his father had a heart attack last week and he has been a wreck. Been all over the place and barely sleeping. However he still makes time to see me. He is also pretty affectionate and never asks for favors or such. He also has a job and is in PA school at the moment. So he is definitely not a lazy bum. Should I be concerned? Should I always expect for the guy to pay or am I thinking too much about this? Please don't judge me as this is the way I have been raised culturally. He was a senior in military school and i was a junior in high school The trouble started about six months in when i found tinder in his phone . I didn't think much of it besides the fact that we were already six months in and he's trying to find other girls . I begged him to stay faithful and he promised me he would , but the first week of college he started pursuing other girls and telling his friends he had sex with all these women ( denies it to this day ) So over the course of a year and a half long distance relationship whenever i would visit him i would repeatedly find him pursuing women for sex and just for the hell of it . Now i do have bouts of depression and bipolar disorder so there would be days where i would just break up with him because my inclination was so strong about him cheating on me or not thinking im good enough . a year in I cheated . After finding so much stuff in his phone and feeling lost i slept with someone else . I told him because i felt so guilty and he never felt the same about me since basically . 7 months later He ended up leaving and has a new girflriend he met at work .
