Posted: 28 Mar 2018 05:27 PM PDT So my friend gets really touchy with the girl that I'm dating but not (we like eachother but she's not ready for a relationship), he always finds any reason to hug her, he wrestles with her and brags about the "boobage" but claims it's just friendly. He only helps her with problems and leaves everybody else on read, that includes me, and people asking for help when they are going to kill themselves. I don't know if I can stop being friends with him because every time I try he threatens suicide and blames me for it and I don't know if he would actually do it or not. My girl doesn't realize what he is doing and I don't know if I want to ruin their friendship, because he appeases to be a good friend to her. How to I handle this situation? |
Question: What happens after you pass out from no oxygen? Are you okay after that? Posted: 28 Mar 2018 02:57 PM PDT My friend and I have been taking turns trying different 24hour challenges and today was his turn. He was trying the one we saw on youtube where you sit in the deepfreezer. We weren't expecting him to last a a whole 24 hours but wanted to see how long he could last. A Anyway, after about half an hour he started breathing really fast and passed out. I didn't know that until after I checked on him and found him asleep. We played back the video and it looks like he just passed out. He was twitching a little like he was having a seizure or something but after he woke up he was ok. He only has a headache right now but I was wondering if there are any after effects from passing out like this or is he ok? |

Question: Is this a normal behaviour for a room mate? Posted: 28 Mar 2018 12:17 PM PDT I'm a male and I have a female room mate in a 2 bedroom apt. Some things that she does: - every time I take a pee and when she sees the yellowish urine on a bit top of the toilet (above the water), I have to clean my urine with a tissue. Instead of her flushing the water and wash the leftover urine. Note I flush everytime after I pee - when I use my laptop on the dining table in the dining room at 11 PM at night, she gets upset and run pass by - When I have a male friend visit me and eating on the dining table, instead of saying hi, she runs to the bathroom. and she finishes, she runs to her room. - she gets home from work at 11 PM. The next day, there is no sign of her during the day even if it is on Saturday. Suddenly she leaves at 6 PM everyday. I'm just soo confused and I wonder why she never eat lunch during the day. and yes I flush the toilet and this woman obsess with a tiny drop of pee.... why women can't read? read read read... |
Posted: 28 Mar 2018 10:48 AM PDT He is 28 years old and recently his friends have one by one disappeared. You know life happens. Some move, some get kids, some you lose touch with. I think he always knew that it would happen. I just don't he expected it to happen so fast and with basically all his friends. The last year he has been very lonely. We have our mutual friends but it's never the same thing. Which I understand. I mean I sometimes go and hang out with my friends and he is home alone. Then he started this new job. In this company there are 17 people from various old Yugoslavian nations, just like him. Obviously he clicked with the immediately and with some of them they have really gotten very close. But in all this he has forgotten about me and us. Between work, going to the gym, other responsibilities in life I barely get to see him during the week days. During the weekend he spends a lot of time with his new friends. We haven't had a weekend alone in ages. We haven't had sex in over 2 months or just spend a night watching a movie in the couch. He has promised that he would try to change but so far nothing. I feel like he is neglecting me for his new friends. What should I do? |
Question: Should I share this message with my old high school friends? Posted: 28 Mar 2018 10:47 AM PDT Ok folks so long story short I graduated high school in 2003. It seems like a lifetime ago however I'm on a facebook group of my class and sometimes people share memories, pictures and stuff, mostly happy stuff. However one of my school buddies was killed in action in Iraq in 2004. 14 years ago this april and it seems like a lifetime ago yet it feels like it was yesterday. Since he could've been a father by now,a husband and he will never be,and since he gave his life for you me and the rest of this country,I was thinking about sharing this on the group "Hey folks, hope is all well with you guys. I know we mainly share fun stuff in here but if you have 2 minutes I just want you to pause and remember Justin. 14 years ago next month he gave his young life for this country. Hard to believe it has been so long if you ask me. He could've been a parent,a spouse by now like most of us but none of that will ever come true. I thought it would be a nice idea if we all shared a brief moment,a brief memory of him,a quick episode of how you remember him.He wasn't perfect, maybe someone wans't as close with him as others were but if you like share what u remember about him. The moment I want to remember is when he showed up to class in a towell. Man sometimesI miss that guy LMAO. So if you have a family and you can hug your kids/parents please know that he died so that we can live in a free country and that he will never have that chance again. Thank you". Do you think is this ok as a message? Rebecca: FOR GOD'S SAKES..... What I meant was: HE could have been a parent by now, meaning he could've and should've had so much life ahead. But instead he lived less than 20 years and his life was cut short way too soon Don't you get it? Come on...what are you,5? |
Question: Would you still be friends with someone that stabbed someone over a women? Posted: 28 Mar 2018 09:23 AM PDT I used to be friends with this guy that stabbed someone over a women. I see a couple of my old friends hang out with him still. He did some time in prison. This is all over jealousy and he has 2 kids by her. I've moved on from all my old friends when I was younger. I live in a city now and I'm meeting new people on my own. The types of people I don't like are really selfish ones, guys that treat women like ****, shady people. I'm good at making friends and judgement is better when you learn. |

Question: Should I feel Embarrassed to retake exam ? Posted: 28 Mar 2018 03:21 AM PDT I am 16 , turning 17 by September , female . By right , in my country ( Singapore ) , I should be admitted to a junior college , however I did quite badly for my GCE-o levels .... as such , I planning to retake it again this year , to have a decent certificate . However , when I try to discuss it with some of my close friends , they seem to look down on me , saying that those who retake exams are losers ... I feel rather discouraged as it seems that my friends are not really fond of the idea of me retaking it . I not sure about other countries , however in Singapore , society tend to value those who are smarter , in top schools , and look down on those who have to retake their exams or have to stay for another year . |
Question: Stuck in a toxic and clingy friendship. Please help? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 11:58 PM PDT I'm going to make this short as I do not have much time, also I wrote a long version of this but lost it. So, for the past five years I've been friends with this guy. It was all great at the begging. But lately we've been going separate ways and this has changed. I'm stressed whenever something is planned, and I never enjoy hanging out with him. He often tries to get me to do things in which I do not want to try, and gets angry over some pretty minor stuff. Sometimes it gets physical. And me? I'm a coward. I don't to deal with the fallout because I'm scared as to what will happen. And with how hard it is for me to talk to people about such situations I would never even be able to talk to him. I live with my parents so he might to fight with them, and that means I would have to talk to them as well. This I just cannot do. Help, I've searched everywhere for advice but all I see is 'just do it.' |
Question: Is he being friendly or what? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 11:14 PM PDT We broke up and when I tried going back(6 months ago) he said he wouldn't forgive me for saying something about his mom when he said something to mine first(idiotic).I didn't chase him. We ran into eachother one day i expected him to ignore but he smiled and said hi.Now he keeps looking at me, making eye contact and i caught him looking at me sneakily through the door crack. He's started coming out about the same time as I do and he said hi hesitantly and smiling. Today I was going down the stairs and he was behind me. He was "on the phone" saying he was leaving church and would call back which wasn't necessary since church was already over. I feel like he did it so I'd know he was behind me. We walked next to eachother he smiled and said how are you. We had a few exchanges and I asked him about his sick brother. He kept constantly staring at me in church today we crosses eyes but no smiling. He's so weird. What does all this mean? |
Question: How many friends did you have? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 10:57 PM PDT What if you realize you have no friends? |
Posted: 27 Mar 2018 10:47 PM PDT I used to be good friends with this person (who i m gonna call Bruce) and through her I met some other friends (Dory and Marlin). Also through me she got quite close to a another person (Nemo?). At first, many years ago, Bruce used to be best friends with Dory and Marlin, but also alright friends with me and Nemo. When we all got to the same school, we all became friends. **** happened, and Bruce and Dory weren t friends anymore, and everyone else had to deal with that. During that time I became very close to Bruce but some **** happened between us as well, no one else is aware of it though. Also Nemo and I got very close to Dory and Marlin at that time, and right now we have our own friend squad with just us four, leaving Bruce on the outside. Anyways, now close to the present day, Bruce and Dory made up and are good friends again and I m the one who doesn t really want Bruce around. She has messed some things up and it seems that nobody else really sees that. Bruce has taken notice of our squad of four and wants to get in as well. Honestly, I don t want her into this. We have spent time with the five of us before and everytime with her it s not even close to fun. I don t know how the others feel about this but i hate talking about this kind of stuff, and I feel kind of bad cause she has lost many friends already. I m not even sure what I m asking here, I just had to sort out my own thoughts. |
Posted: 27 Mar 2018 10:10 PM PDT So have this friend I like too much. Next year we won't be studying together. Only talk on text. Makes me happy talking to him but messes my peace of mind a lot. I'm not asking for y'all to tell me I should confess I can't it's more complicated than that. So the thing is there's no solution to this so the only thing to do is move on. It's gonna be so hard but I guess I should. As we only talk on this app although we go to the same school I can simply block him and it'll be over. But if you were in my shoes and you had this great great friend who you treasure a lot would you really block them out of the blue without any explanation? I think they deserve an explanation but I can't tell them the reason so what should I do? I've figured it's better to hurt once then to keep getting hurt in different layers. Still how should I say goodbye? I hope you get what I'm tryna say. It's so complicated in my head I've a hard time elaborating. Please help. |
Question: Would it be weird if I messaged someone to hang out after not talking to them for a while? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 09:38 PM PDT I was decent friends with this girl at public school, we shared a class and walked to our next class together since they were next to each other. We exchanged our Snapchats and talked a few times outside of school (on snapchat, we never hung out outside of school). I left public school halfway through the first semester of this school year to be home-schooled and haven t really talked to her since, would it be weird if I messaged her and asked to hang out? Would it be weirder since she s a senior and I m a freshman? |
Question: I'm kind of worried my friend is going to die. How can I help her? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 09:06 PM PDT We'll call my friend Ava. Ava is 18. I'm really worried about her. Ava's amazing. She's hilarious, charming, magnetic, beautiful, and very smart. Unfortunately, she's had a few too many bad experiences and it's taken a toll on her. Ava was molested when she was 10 by many family members. When she was 15 her first boyfriend was sexually abusive and recently someone tried to rape her. In addition to this while her parents are really nice people, they're not that mentally stable either. Ava smokes weed every day. She brings whiskey with her to class and she brings pot brownies with her to class. She still has a 4.0, and we're in a very competitive program at our college so it doesn't really make much sense honestly. Ava does LSD a lot and will be unavailable for sometimes days. She's also done shrooms and almost had to be hospitalized because she took way too many. Most recently Ava has picked up cocaine and goes through "withdrawl" periods. More alarmingly Ava is addicted to sex. She's had sex with probably 25 guys this year alone. She's mostly safe about it but there are limits obviously. The guys are crappy and not good to her. In addition to this she prostitutes herself for about $700 to have sex with guys that are as old as her dad. |

Question: Did I do the right thing? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 08:39 PM PDT There's this kid in my school who has highly suspicious behavior. He's a quiet white kid who acts weird. He wears a trench coat and always talks to my about how fun murdering innocent people is. I told the principal and he found out that it was me who snitched. He got suspended for a week since they found a knife and a "how to shoot up schools" book. He found out it was me who snitched and he threatened to jump me with four other people. Should I have not ratted him out? What should I do now? |
Question: Making online friends anxiety? Idk if people are being honest with me? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 08:25 PM PDT Hi! So I have very bad anxiety, and just recently started trying to make friends online. I've never done so before I'm 19 years old (female) for reference. Anyways, one person I met tells me that they're from the opposite side of the world. They told me that they're 5 years older than myself, and a guy. We chatted through an annoying messaging app, and eventually exchanged snapchats. I've never really used sc before personally, so I didn't really know much but they told me some basics and I figured the rest out. I took a few silly pics of myself and put them on 'my story'. They viewed them. The thing is on their snap they have a bitemoji thing that is a girl? Also they have stated that they're not comfortable talking through a voice app. Given that I'm now suspecting they may not be a guy? BTW I don't even have a problem with them being a girl. It's the fact that if they are a girl, that they lied to me about it. Also I feel kinda strange knowing they know what I look like, but idk what they look like. I just assumed that if they wanted to go on sc that they wanted to know what I looked like? That's why I took pics...it is my fault for assuming I guess. I can't tell if I'm over thinking or not too much. This is the first online friend I made so maybe I just need to chill idk. I'm not trying to diss this person btw! They seem like a nice person! Sorry if I sound dumb :( |
Question: Is it innapropriate to email an old teacher? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 08:17 PM PDT About 3 years ago, I was a freshmen in middle school. I joined the tennis team when I was in 7th grade and had 2 different coaches for the duration of being on the team. When I got to my freshmen year.. yet again a brand new coach... I was upset, but then I got to know the coach, and he became an amazing person in my life. He was my favorite coach and teacher in school and I was his favorite student and member on the team. But sadly, 2 years ago, the end of my sophomore year and start of my junior year, he got offered a new job. Ironically when he told us this, it was raining outside.. but back to the point.. I recently just found an email online that belongs to him, and I would love to email him just to say hello and tell him that I, and other members on the team miss him and wish him well. Would that be innappropriate though, or no? |
Question: Who is more likely to be petty? Posted: 27 Mar 2018 08:10 PM PDT the ex boyfriend/girlfriend being dumped or the dumper |
Posted: 27 Mar 2018 07:57 PM PDT And, if ever, just let the other party do their own business to the point that it might make them get tired or miserable in the end or not. Examples are being in a fight with a friend or lover and that despite that there are always two sides of the story, other people would gullibly support the other side and would be biases over them. |
