Question: Does my mom deserve to be forgiven? Posted: 12 Mar 2018 11:51 AM PDT My mom's *****. I said it. Throughout my childhood, she has physically and mentally abused me. She would beat me until I was black and blue, throw chairs at me, and even chased me around the house with a knife when I was seven. As I grew older, she stopped beating me but continued to belittle me, which led to anxiety and depression. She would tell me how worthless I was, screaming at me to drop dead, how she wished I was never born, throw eating utensils and scream at my face during dinner time, calling me ugly for dyeing my hair, and laughing at me when I had mental breakdowns. I recently told me therapist that I was sexually assaulted and it tramumatized me. I gave her permission to inform my mom. Afterwards, we were given the option to press charges. My mom literally told me "I don't support you. Literally nothing happened to you and reporting him (the man who hurt me) might hinder his chances of getting a job. Just forget it, it's not a big deal". She even yelled at me for being stupid enough to confide in someone and blamed me for what happened, calling me a slut and saying I spent too much time on the internet. She asked me why I thought so negatively of her(UH MAYBE BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU DID TO ME AS A CHILD??) and called me ungrateful. When I tried to speak, she yelled at me to shut up. I cried myself to sleep that night.

Question: Is it okay to have a favourite child? Posted: 12 Mar 2018 11:28 AM PDT My daughters are 5 and 14. The younger one is prettier and easier to get along with. My oldest is bullied, has been isolated for years now. She knows that I don't have this bond with her.
Question: When my father goes out of town to drive his truck with lettuce? Posted: 12 Mar 2018 09:38 AM PDT his girlfriend stays with us to babysit, she hogs tv and eats our food. she aslo puts her mouth on my little brother, I know because I watched her,i used to do it to my ex boyfriend,is my brother enjoying it? my ex boyfriend used to have white cream come out,but my little brother doesn't, I don't think so.but he is really hard and smiling.
Question: Sister won’t go anywhere without 17 year old son.? Posted: 12 Mar 2018 09:28 AM PDT If we go anywhere we have to wait for him to get out of school and bring him with she never ever takes him home but his 16 year old brother does stay home alone. We go to women's underwear stores and he comes with like it isn't a big deal and his personality is very child like, he plays with my young kids outside and plays for long periods with my baby. He is totally dependent on my sister and she won't get him a car or let him get his license and said she will be bringing and picking him up from college when he turns 18 in two months. Thoughts?

Question: What should I do this is my mom all false and mean? Posted: 12 Mar 2018 07:38 AM PDT I'm completely humiliated she said "He was to oay her $2000 for a video with a toy... sge sent it in... he blocked her on all internet ways if contacting him. Obvioysly he hated her toy porn. She was able to contact via 1 email he forgot to bl8ck.. and begged for her payment... he sent her $500 and blocked her there...This is a married man with children... my daughter targets married men... just so you all know/ Her picture is fake guys, she uses a n app to improve her looks.. i can post her real self.. the guy she was making porn for blocked her because of her real looks." She was in a bad mood last time I saw her and was asking me about when I'm getting a job... I drive over 60 miles a day to take my daughter to school because she promised me to help with afterschool .. she always makes excuses and I just can't rely on her ... so it's been difficult finding a job between the hours of 10am-2pm she doesn't give me money so idk why she was mad... I spent all morning baking her a cake for her birthday and was excited to see her.. I even had my ex but her a gift and drop my daughter off with her... . But I did nothing to deserve this to her. I would openly admit that on here..... anyways a while back ago I was offered to do a video and I went to her for advice.. I never did it... she knows that so Idk why she's doing this . She also said "She desperately needs the demons to come out of her, but she keeps them well" "The demons within her were making fun of what i post
Question: How to move away from toxic parents? Posted: 12 Mar 2018 07:38 AM PDT I am 18 years old, a freshman in college, and need to move away from toxic parents. I am currently living in my college dorm room, but I have to go back for breaks. I have inherited a good amount of money from a deceased relative, so I have the money to move out. The only thing is my parents are keeping track of it, and set something up where if I want to withdraw it, I have to ask them for permission. I am having trouble getting an apartment because they want 3x-5x the monthly income, and I could still get denied even if I pay the entire lease upfront. I don't mind getting a job, but I'm not sure what job to get because most people my age work minimum wage, and that's not enough for the income requirement. Also, they are against me moving out, so I can't expect them to cosign. My plan is to move out before summer starts, and it will be extremely difficult to move out while I'm in their house. They also have my personal documents (SS Card, Birth Certificate).
Question: My mother is missing. And I just don't care anymore.? Posted: 12 Mar 2018 07:29 AM PDT A few months ago in November. She left her 6 year old autistic and or brain damage son at home while she was out, most likely with friends. Her daughter was at school and called out by the counselors and told she couldn't go home with mommy. She and jaxon spent all day and most of the night at dcs until we had everything planned out and signed. They came to live with me, my fiance, and his grandparents. I am only 20. I turn 21 on march 28 2018. And now to top it all of... I think I'm pregnant. I have two children at 20 and maybe one on the way. But you know what, I wouldn't have it any other way. These children deserve someone who knows what it's like to be told by your own mother that she never wanted you, that you are worthless. To her they may be worthless but to me these two children now 7 and 8 are my pride and joy. They are the loves of my life and of my fiance's too. I hope she burns in he'll for what she did to us. I hope she suffers before she does though and it tormented by the fact that she lost all 5 of her children. All 5 of us have anxiety issues, some even personality issues. But we are all doing much better without her now. So is it really so bad that I don't want her in my life? That I don't want to find her?

Question: Girls big mature question? Posted: 12 Mar 2018 03:10 AM PDT We used to be 19. My year long gf left to college. I tried having sex with her many MULTIPLE times BUT she told me she was a virgin and wanted to wait. We didn't break up until she was 3 months deep into college then she broke up with me. Out of nowhere a year later she tried to get back into my life. We went on a date after a year BREAK UP. On this date i asked her if she dated anyone? she said "nothing serious". She claimed to be a virgin since day one so i was curious to ask how far she got in the dates?. She then wouldn't answer it and kept quite/hush mode. She then began to speed walk to get away from me/ignore my question. I then admitted i slept with one girl. She got mad and talked bad on me. She then dumped me. 2 year later today after this breakup we just started talking all over again. Right away off the bat she said "you just want to bang me be honest but your not so don't bother". Could she still be a virgin today? we are 21 today. It does not add up. It could also be she's tired of men using her for sex idk you tell me!.
Question: Any thing that can help us? Posted: 11 Mar 2018 10:10 PM PDT I(13) live with my mom and brother(20) as my parents are divorced and we struggle financially, sometimes we can't go grocery shopping and it is hard to manage rent. My mum thinks she is the worst mum because she can't give us anything but I resumed her she is the best mum ever. Do you guys have any tips for things that can help us?
Question: I haven't been a good to my mom,and i;m scared that i;m going to lose her. what to do??? Posted: 11 Mar 2018 09:02 PM PDT https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20180219054130AAjRxQ8 i haven't been visiting my mom at the hospital because i'm scared that i will lose her and the doctors will tell me to pull the plug. i also have been busy being lazy, scared, and anxious about seeing my mom. i want to go to the hospital everyday to visit her,and i keep calling to find out what's going on with her. i always appreciate my mom,and i love her. i'm her only baby. am i a bad daughter for not visiting my mom everyday at the hospital? i did give her a hard time by not finishing community college and failing the 2 remedial classes back in 2014. i'm in acces and icd and i'm trying to do something with myself, but ever since my mom's been in the hospital for a month,i keep blaming myself for everything. for starters,on feb 10th @8-8:30am,my mom choked on a bagel/roll at a bakery shop, and fell, and now has brain damage. my mom knows her name, and she remembers me,and i did visit her 10 days ago,and when the nurse practitioner mentioned my name to her,my mom started to smile. she looked at me and some other people on the 1st of this month. she wanted me to get a job,but right now,i can't. i miss her so much. she used to smoke and is medically obese because of her neuralgia. her old dentist touched a nerve, and that's why she's on neuralgia meds. i miss her coming into our apartment and hearing her voice, greeting me and my grandpa when she used to come home from shopping. what do i do? daughter and seizures, aspiration pneumonia, her left lung collapsed, and is still on the ventilator. someday, her blood pressure is high or low. what are the chances of the doctors telling me to pull the plug on my mom? sometimes,i would give her a hard time by not helping her with taking out the bags from shopping or setting the table for dinnertime. she sprained her lower back 3 months ago and hasn't been able to go out. do you think my mom will live? she'll get colds.
Question: Should I let my 14 year old daughter stop attending a youth group? Posted: 11 Mar 2018 08:33 PM PDT She feels uncomfortable around one or two kids there. Their age ranges are ages 16 to 19, but it was recommended for her. The presentations are too old for her - college applications, sexual activity, and full time jobs. My daughter says that no one really talks to her. She befriended an 11 year old girl, but they transferred her to the tween group due to being in 6th grade. It's just that a few older boys give her a "bad vibe", her friend is too young in the group, and their main discussions aren't always "right" for her age.
Question: Not allowed inside sister’s home? Thoughts.....? Posted: 11 Mar 2018 07:59 PM PDT Sister won't let me into her apartment.....? I have been to my sister's apartment last year, but lately when I go over there to go out with her or pick anything up from there she runs out of the house before I can even knock. Yesterday we went grocery shopping and were waiting to leave to pick up her son from school and she didn't even ask me to come in and I have a little baby and sat in my truck for 20 mins waiting while she put stuff in the house and came out 10 Mins later. Her and her family are always at our house without even giving notice most of the time while they are in the car they send a text and we welcome them in always. My mom is coming to visit for a few days in the summer and she said she would just take her out and not invite her over. Thoughts about this????
Question: In-law drama. Fighting for grandparents time? Posted: 11 Mar 2018 07:56 PM PDT My husband's parents rarely watch our kids. His mom works Thursday through Saturday. His dad works out of town. I'm a stay-at-home mom and my husband works 3rd shift a hour away from work. We have a 5 and 3 year old. Here lately we have to fight against my husband's sister to get his parents to watch our kids. Her kids are 10, 6, and 3. They are homeschooled which means she gets my mother in law to watch them sometimes when they should be in a regular school like my kids are. So we basically only have Sundays for her to watch them. My family lives 2 hours away from me so the only help I can get are from my husband's parents. Everytime we ask for a day date for a couple hours and they actually say yes then his sister's kids are all of a sudden going too. That's 5 kids for them to watch! Sometimes we find out that day when we drop them off. But when they watch her kids so her and her husband can go out our kids are never invited. They have gone out on 4 date nights in the last 2 months. We have gotten only 1 in the last 3 months and her kids was with them that day too. Something just doesn't seem right here. We all get along and we haven't told them how we feel because we hate drama. It seems like they can't say no to my sister in law but they always say "it's not a good time" or "I don't want to" when my husband asks. Yes my kids are younger but when the other kids were small they would watch them back then. What do y'all think of this situation? Thanks in advance
Question: Am I a terrible person for hating my family? Posted: 11 Mar 2018 06:39 PM PDT Four years ago my grandfather became sick with Dementia, I had just turned 18 the same day. I was forced into a corner by my family and since I was living with my grandparents already, they made me be a caregiver full time. Now, I'm 21 gonna be 22 in 6 months and I'm still in the same miserable situation. I can't get a job, because my grandma refuses to fix her schedule around my future one and none of her kids will help out. 2 out of three don't work, one hardly works and the other one works 6 days a week. I don't have a car, because no one will teach me to drive, they won't even take me to go to the DMV because of whatever bull crap excuse they can make up. I'm absolutley miserable, I hardly have any friends because I *literally* never leave my house. The last time I was out was new years eve and it's March 11th now. I'm living a very lonely life, to say the least. I can't take it anymore. My family thinks i'm crazy, and they feel as if I owe them this because "I made my grandpa sick". I don't know how to change this, I have got to get out of this house and I don't even know where to start...
Question: I feel guilty for being so expensive? Posted: 11 Mar 2018 06:29 PM PDT Okay so I'm 15, turning 16 soon and I'm feeling really guilty. I'm an expensive kid. I have eating issues, really bad asthma and skin conditions and need doctor's appointments, which are really expensive. I'm also a huge klutz, I've so far ruined several carpets and the garage floor. The garage floor will take 700 dollars to get epoxied and even though my dad was planning on getting it done anyways, I feel guilty. I also asked him if we could get the garage painted and the supplies cost 400 dollars. I'm still growing too do I've been needing new clothes, new shoes and since I'm a junior, I've been thinking of college and the idea of making my parents pay for that is crushing me. I'm also taking summer classes to make up school credits which cost 400 dollars. I feel like crap. Help.
Question: Should I ask my brother to get me taco bell? Posted: 11 Mar 2018 06:01 PM PDT Well?
Posted: 11 Mar 2018 05:13 PM PDT My parents have embarrassed me throughout my life which I think is normal and happens to most people. What's different about my case though is the fact that my parents tend to make the other person or company feel uncomfortable and bored. They seem to fail miserably at every attempt they make at being funny. Neither of them know how to set up a joke to give the context or background and so they'll often tell what are considered inside jokes to people and accept them to follow along. What follows from these situations is a painfully awkward attempt by the other person to subtly change the subject. Just the other night me and parents went out to eat and my mom made a really insipid remark about how I'm a big boy who needs the biggest burger they got, all while smiling at the waitress expecting her to be entertained in a painfully awkward manner. The waitress looked away and did not smile back. They also will bore friends or company by bringing up conversational topics that are petty, stupid, and which the person usually has no interest in whatsoever. Should I bring this up to my parents? How can I do that without being rude and would it even be beneficial?
Posted: 11 Mar 2018 04:10 PM PDT I see quite a lot of parents who think their tween isn't at risk of online relationships, because they're not young teens YET. It is assumed that kids that young are interested in child-like hobbies, not teen-like stuff. However, will just letting them go on the smartphone like it doesn't exist create potential danger? IMO, it sounds risky.
Question: How long should I wait before having my family meet my bf? Posted: 11 Mar 2018 04:06 PM PDT I know that with older adults people usually wait several months or even a year or so before meeting each others parents, however, I feel like the case is different for me because I'm a teenager and live with my parents. I've been seeing and flirting with this guy for months now, and yesterday we finally decided to make things official and start a relationship. Both of us have just recently turned 18 and we're finishing our senior year of high school in a few months. I've talked about him before with my parents and they know I hang out with on a weekly basis, they know about him. They've never met him before though and they don't know that he's my boyfriend yet, since it's such a new relationship. I've already met his mom briefly because I've been to his house when we were still "friends." since we're so young and still live with our parents, how long should I wait before having him meet my family?

Question: In laws won’t stop asking about our marriage ? What to do? Posted: 11 Mar 2018 01:50 PM PDT My husband recently told his parents and family/friends we were on the rocks and were thinking of splitting up. We reconciled and everything is better but now his mom and dad keep calling asking "is everything ok? How is your marriage ?!" I told him he made the mistake of telling them (not normal for a 30+ man) and he needs to tell them to stop asking . He gets defiant and defensive when I tell him these calls aren't appropriate . Why do they do this and what can we do? Are they secretly hoping we are divorcing ? His parents have never liked me but lie to my face and say they do.
