She studies architecture in France and i study medicine in Germany so yeah 2 years apart , no talking , no chatting coz we had a huge fight! When we met yesterday ,I gave her a formal handshake but instead she gave me a hug and a kiss... it was strange...but i missed her hugs ! After that, we didnt talk anymore... why the hell did she hug me ??

She just lays around and plays on her iPhone/listens to music all day. She has friends but never hangs out with them, but is on her school volleyball team. Whenever she's asked if she wants to go somewhere, she just says she's having fun at home, but she's very spoiled and never cleans up after herself. She talks to our mom when she's here, barely to other family members (but they're rarely around) but never to me --- which I'm fine with it, she's sometimes physically violent with me when she's angry (I don't fight back though and mom doesn't care that she hits me, she lets her do whatever she wants). I asked her before why she never wants to do anything but it's either "I don't know" or "I'm fine right now" or "because I can, so mind your own business." Honestly, it bothers me considerably and makes me anxious because I feel like she's mirroring me (I'm frequently depressed/social anxiety, stay in my room and do my college work, and take walks from time to time). I guess I don't want her to be like me?

I have no say in this but here it goes. My mom screams at me everytime I do something wrong and this time she called me mean because my cousin and my aunt came from Peru and my baby cousin is only 4 years old but she also is a tad annoying I know we all were when we were little but , she called me mean because I complained a lot about her when I tried doing my homework and whenever she doesn t listens and when I go to the bathroom! Also she gets on top of me and starts playing with my eyes and note she has very hard bones and they hurt. I love my cousin deeply but sometimes she is kinda to much.

There is a high school student on my bus, and she is really nice to me. I have known her since I was in 5th grade. I'm in 6th now. But I just now got off of the bus, and she handed me a 2 hats and a shirt. She asked me if I could take them home. So of course I said sure. I asked her why, and she said ''I'll explain it in the morning'' so I said ok. She said ''I'll take them back in the morning. When she got off, she told the bus driver ''Do not tell anyone about what I told you, ok, not a word. And the driver said ok. But then I got scared after that, so I told my grandma. She started yelling at me, and asking where does she live, where does she get off at, what's her name, and stuff like that. I told her, and she said ''Well what if she accuses you of stealing those, or what if she stole them off of someone, and she is going to tell someone you stole them. I started crying, and I told my mom. She said not to worry about it. But now I'm afraid she did something, and she is going to blame it on me, or what if she implanted drugs on it. I don't know what to do. I'm scared that I will get in trouble. Can someone please tell me their opinion on what you think she did, or why she gave them to me? Or something else related to this. I don't know when but here soon my sister, brother, and my mom will be going to North Dakota to visit my brother and sisters dad because he is sick and might die soon but, my mom said I could go if I want or stay with my dad or my grandparents. I kind of want to go because I've never left Florida before and want to go somewhere different but I'm a bit scared of going on a plane cause last time My brother went on a plane it stalled while in the air and almost crashed.

At a very early age my mother didn't want me.(not even a year old) I was raised by my aunt and grandparents and things were amazing, they always made me feel loved, i was spoiled, went to a great school, learned morals, and was raised to be a gentleman. Hello and thank you for wanting to help. My parents have been married for 20 years and they have me and my brother- who has a different dad than me. He's 25, I'm 16. My dad has never too much of a happy guy but in the past few years he has become insanely bitter, finding any reason and any reason at all to argue and yell. He's pretty much a maniac, extremely obsessive with the slightest details, i.e. turning off all the lights of the house, wifi, charging phones. Now while this might seem small things, living years with him yelling at anything and everything every single day is overwhelming. My mom has been wonderful and has endured it all, and my brother has had extreme video game addictions issues ever since he was a teen. He now works and studies but it still interferes in his life and he blames my mom for everything, even though she has done nothing but try to help him. He moved with his dad and because of previous fights, hates me and my dad and only comes to see my mom, whom he still blames, every so often. So she feels like she's been a horrible mom to him. On the other hand, she has had a back hernia for many years and that has gotten in the middle of my parents' sex life to the point that they haven't had sex in years. My dad is extremely frustrated about it and he's always bitter and angry. They now even sleep in separate beds and my mom even told him that as much it would hurt her, she'd support his having sex with another woman. Word limit's done but please help!! P.S. Me and my mother have been through a lot like homelessness and financial fails and so on so we finally reached our limit and decided to move back to Detroit with our family and our family is super religious and have been wanting us back for years and said that Detroit is where our blessings were and my mother hates Detroit and after some time we needed help from the family but nobody would help so she decided we should move back to Atlanta since it had more opportunities even though the family was completely against it saying they had "bad feelings" on our decisions. She got me some desert boots for school. My school has unifrom but they let u wear that kind of boots cuz they look close enough to shoes. Anyways she got me ones that sound like women's high heels whenever I walk. I swear to God people turn around in the corridors and look at me. So today I got home from school and said I'm never wearing those boots again!!! And threw them at the wall. They hit a picture of my dead brother and the glass smash and she said just wait until my dad comes home and sees that. It's not like the photo is broke!! Just the glass. They can reglass the frame I'm sure. But he's gonna be all mad at me now. For waking the babies too. And yelling at my mom. And my mom caused this by being dumb? My sister has a severe anxiety disorder whch has put a lot of strain on the family. I believe my family is dysfunictional because my dad used to be an alcoholic and my mum always used to be scared when he went out drinking because one day he came home and threw furniture and we had to call the police and lock the doors. He doesn't drink anymore. My sister and mum had a huge fight and my sister started slamming cupboards and doors and throwing her books hard on the table and my mum cried and said ''I hate you'' and y sister said ''fine your fault''. Its 4am where I am in Australia and my mum is asleep on the couch because shes that upset and my sister is up crying and listening to music. What can i do?? I wont take advice from someone who has drugs in their photo and 'beat' her? Are you kidding? We have both seen enough violence in our lifes. Wow she beat you and you say you have anxiety and depression, I wonder why? FYI My mum slams doors too should we 'beat' her? It's a normal human reaction to slam things when angry.

My younger sister that I am VERY CLOSE to is staying at my husband's and my house for a month while her home is being remolded. She likes to go around the house in a loose fitting robe and nothing else on. Everything is visible. My husband has asked me several times to ask her to wear some more clothes when he is around. Okay, so i m 17 years old and I m only 16 days away from being 18. I ve been living with my cousins in Richmond for 2 months now helping out, my mother gave me permission to live here. Well there s a visitation order for my younger brother and i and it says that my dad has to give my mom 24 hours notice before visitation. well i went and stayed at his house for a week and it was unplanned by him, i just asked if i could stay and spend time with my youngest half brother and the rest of that side of the family. my mother knew I was there the day i got there and was threatening to file a runaway report on me and threatened my dad that she was going to file Parental Abduction charges on him. I heard that it s kind of a grey area because im almost 18. Ever since my parents got divorced back in 2009 my mom has been very vindictive and has tried to find ever way she can get my dad in trouble legally. I have no idea what to do and my mother has taken out charges on my dad for visitation and how he has a warrant out on him. If someone could give me a little bit of serious advice on what to do, that would be great.

Almost every other hour I am yelled at by mom for some god knows what reason. Sometimes it's about how I didn't get into the class I wanted (Which is out of my control) and other times it's about why I am stupid or why I'm not as good at my older brother or something else. Ever since I was 5, my parents have lived my brother more than anyone. When he asks for something, he immediately gets it. No questions asked. When a 13 year old like me asks for something, I get yelled at and slapped across the face. This morning my brother was being smart with me so I gave him a taste of his own medicine. My mom came up to me and started yelling at me about how I was being unkind to him. She was blabbing about how I should be constantly giving him hugs and kisses and how I should always buy him toys. I am a parent of a smart 10 year old girl. Her mother and I are divorced. My daugter loves with me. Against my wishes her mother bought her a phone and now I'm stuck with it. When she is with me she is not allowed to take her phone to school. And she knows this. Well, this past weekend she spent with her mothers grandparents. Usually they bring her home the night before school so I don't have to worry about this problem but now they keep her and take her to school and don't drop off her phone they let her take it to school. Now I get this "Other kids get to do it." As well as I don't want her to feel like I'm completely against her mother. Any advise?

So my mother let my aunt move in with us when I was about 12 years old. I am now 22 about to enter graduate school and my sister is 25 with a masters degree now engaged to her fiance . My aunt does nothing she just sits in the house watches the tv my father pays for, talks on the phone my father pays for, and eats the food my father pays for. She is just loud and obnoxious. She'll be on the phone at 6 am when other people are getting ready for work and is just shouting on the phone. She also likes to leave the tv on all night forgetting to cut it off. My son is 10 years old, and he has been bugging me to meet to meet his father for about 2 years now. I'm very concerned about this. While his dad has always sent me a child support check every month he has never even asked about him or cared. I myself have barely even seen him, he just sends the check in the mail. I live with my dad and younger sister. My younger sister is mentally retarded...41 but think/acts like a 13 year old. Some years ago after the passing of my mom, dad insisted that I take over the family finances just in case something happened to him. In addition...I cook the meals, do the laundry, run all errands, and I'm self-employed. My dad is 78 years old and was recently released from a nursing home where he was undergoing physical rehab after a bad fall. Right now he is immobile...unable to walk. When he needs anything at all he starts screaming for me and then for my sister if he doesn't hear an answer from me immediately. Once I respond, he yells at me for making him scream. He only yells at me for not responding immediately, never my sister. He screams for help 10 - 15 times a day. ..and each time I drop what I'm doing and run to help him...if I'm awake. He tells me all the time... "I should NEVER have to scream or yell for help. Leaving me screaming for 2-3 hours is ABUSE no matter what you say!!!" I keep telling him that I can't hear him screaming if I'm sleeping. He has managed to make me feel sooo guilty about him having to yell for help that I don't bother going to bed anymore. As it is, I haven't slept in 3 days. ..and I'm beyond exhausted. If I say anything to dad, he'll just tell me to quit whining. A couple days ago I went to the store to get stuff for him and accidentally locked my keys in the car. When I got home I could hear him screaming from outside. When I got inside he immediately tore into me about not helping him eventho he KNEW I went to the store to get his stuff....and then got even angrier and belittled me when I told him about the keys getting locked in the car. Final words "If I were stronger I would slap you upside the head for being so STUPID!!!" His calls for help usually involve him being confused about what day it is, needing changing, scooting away from the edge of the bed, meal time, pill time. No emergency like falling. If I'm awake, I respond in less than 5 min. If I'm sleeping....I won't hear him calling for help unless my own body wakes me up for some reason. @Mike: thanks :) He isn't able to walk at all so he has to use those incontinence briefs. Texting won't work b/c he doesn't have a cell phone and doesn't want one at all. He considers them to be expensive, useless toys. In this house, the noisemakers have to be loud b/c we don't have central air...window units supplemented with oscillating fans. Not exactly quiet. I've tried keeping track but there is no tracking his wants b/c its rarely the same from day to day. @my 2 cents I can't afford a live-in care giver. Even if I could there would be no place for him or her to sleep since there is no spare bedroom. Dad hasn't always been this way. 95% of the time he is VERY aware and alert of his surroundings. The other 5% is when he gets confused about calendar days or is forgetful. I mentioned the baby monitor to him. That wasn't a good idea....got angry with me for even suggesting it b/c he isn't a baby. @Linda I can't put him back in the nursing home. I promised dad I wouldn't no matter what. He realized on day 1 back home that I was having a tough time handling caring for him. He got really upset at the thought that I was going to send him back. In his mind, me returning him to the nursing home is the same thing as saying "I don't love you or want you around." He was released b/c Medicare ended coverage & I can't afford $175/day out of pocket.

I can't stand stand most kids. I hate everything about them. They are extremely loud. Many of them are very disrespectful. They have a bad hygiene and they are very very hyper. My little brother is 11 and he always have ALOT of friends over. I really want to move out but i can't afford it since im still in school. Im 18. Is there something wrong with me? I am an Indian (study in gulf at an Indian school) & i have started to hate my life. I am 16yrs old and my parents still think I'm a child n don't give me enough freedom. My grades have been going down & my parents think I am not working hard enough. My school ends at 2:15pm & I reach home by 3. After reaching home, I change my clothes (from my school uniform into casuals) & have lunch. At 3:30 my driver comes and I need to leave for extra classes. From these classes I reach home at 5:30. I take a break till 6:00 (during which I normally surf the net). Then I do my homework, have dinner & take a bath & sleep by 9pm. Then i wake up at 2 am & study till 6am. At 6 I get up & get ready for school. Still my parents think I'm not doing enough. I am in XIth & go through a lot of stress at school anyways, besides studies have become vry tough. I am a very good swimmer & the basketball capt of my school, sports is my passion, but my parents did not allow me to chose sports as a profession. I like arts as well, but my parents made me chose science (math, phy, chem, IP,eng). My parents want me to become a successful engineer, but y can they NOT see the competition in India? Every child is choosing to become an engineer & I see no future in this field, specially because I don't have (and never will) passion fr this subject or field. Y cnt I folw my passion? I mean I know I may not earn a lot, but in the end what matters is..I WILL BE HAPPY! Please help me I need inspiration ♥

So my ex step mother is angry because my brother and I respectfully kept our distance from our little half sister this past weekend at her birthday party at my dads house. She tends to get close to your face and spit goes flying and she has mono, but her mother is lying to everyone on Facebook and saying she's not even contagious and badmouthing my brother and I for trying to take care of ourselves. My sister was hospitalized 3 times already in the past month because of the illness and unfortunately my brother and I both work to pay our bills instead of drawing money from the government and "baby daddies" and we can't afford to miss any days. I am a Sophomore in Highschool. This weekend we had a Music Festival and I went, however yesterday morning I woke up with Pink Eye and since we had School off due to Labor Day, I let it rest. I told my mom if my eye was still pink in the morning, I was not going to school. This morning I woke up with a headache and my eyes still red, I don't want to go to school especially since I am in Softball and have to communicate with the girls, and dirt. What do I tell my mom so she lets me stay home from my pink eye?

Until last Thursday night my mom and I were very close. After work on Thursday she came into my room and asked me what I did in school etc. However, when she came in I groaned under my breath because I had a lot to do and didn't want any time wasted. I realized just a bit later that this was very rude. At the time however, she asked what was wrong (she heard me) and I said "nothing". So she left, and wouldn't talk to me the rest of the night, nor the following day. I wanted her to cool down a bit before apologizing but she was only getting worse. However, on Saturday, she got really mad at my dad for raising me into a delinquent or something. She then stormed into my room and said I was worse than a terrorist, because terrorists at least don't kill their moms. This really made me mad and the following day I sent her a frank email from my perspective where I also accused her of near-abusive behavior, although it had some inaccuracies. Since then it's just been horrible; she keeps threatening to leave the house and is wondering how I dared to behave like that. Can someone help me?

Its runs in my dads side of the family, my dad had it and so did his 2 cousins. I get she can't help it but its annoying. We share a room and we have a bunk bed, she sleeps on top. So when she pees in leaks through her mattress and gets all over my stuff and I'm 16 so its emba because I don't want to smell like pee. When she wets the bed she doesn't even cleam up besides new clothes. She wpre pull ups and diapers but we can't find any in her size anymore. Our room always smells like pee. Help? Like I said we can't find a size that fits her they are to small or to big. I can't get up on the top bunk because I have problems with my knee, or I would. Counseling really? My mother has always been very loving and a wonderful parent, happily married to my father, who is also a very loving parent. However, I feel like she favors both my older sister and my twin over me. In the past month, her body language and manner of speaking to me have changed just enough to indicate that something is different. She doesn't act like this towards either of my sisters. What does this mean? Is it normal for this to happen? I can't think of anything I would have done to change her love for me.

By forcefully taking It . * shoving pulling my hair and pinning me down cause I refused to give It to him * like what am I supposed to do to a 230 pound of **** brains ?! Then when I go my phone back he went threw every little thing In my phone ? Why ? Cause he's a ughhh spawn of Satan . So all my messages to friends crushes etc and history he's seen . I hate him from the bottom of my heart . what do I do !!

I'm going to be a freshman in college and will be leaving in a week and a half. I'm moving 6 hours away from home and am starting to feel nervous. I'm extremely close with my family and can't imagine being away from home for so long. I'm going to miss my family and pets so much, and know that a little homesickness is normal. But I don't want it to consume me, especially during the first few weeks when everyone's making new friends. Any advice for a scared freshman?

Why being fair doesn't work all the time? I need three reasons

About a year ago we moved in together. Things between us are good and I love living with her. The problem is her family. She has 4 brothers and sisters and two parents that are divorced and have families. They are all very close and visit each other frequently. At least 3-4 times/week someone comes over and the weekends are packed with their activities. But I have my own family, friends and activities. And I can't remember when me and her had a weekend to ourselves. I think she needs to tell them to step back. But I also feel it might hurt her feelings since they are so close. And I don't want it to be one of those things where I tell her what's wrong, she fixes it for 1-2 weeks and then back again to normal. She needs to put her foot down permanently. So what do I tell her? Or am I overreacting?

Don't know who to turn to so I'm just venting online right now but.... My mom is a huge procrastinator! I asked her 4 months ago to start filing her taxes for my next year in school since I am a dependent. She did not do it until I got into school now. Now we've figured out that someone else has claimed me now I cannot take out any loans, get any grants, or scholarships until we IRS sorts everything out. I was depending on a refund check to help me get through college. Now I probably won't get it now, I have a few bills that I needed to pay off I had the money, but since I didn't get a refund check I had to buy my own books for class out of pocket and that ran me about $300! I just got my car fixed and filled out a job application, but I won't be making enough to pay off my expenses like my fraternity dues, food, gas, and credit card bill which is $75 a month. really needed that refund check. I think it was my step dad that claimed me after my parents divorced this year. My mom has kept me back with all her procrastinating. I don't know why I still try hard every day in class anymore or to be a good person. I feel like there's an evil entity working against me. and I'm atheist. Maybe it's because I'm atheist that my life sucks right now and I don't have parents that care about me. I just tell myself it's just a chapter in my life that'll eventually pass. My mom thinks im a athiest but im not . She thinks just because I don't like church that so she thinks I'm a athiest. What can I do ? , she even told my whole family I was one and my sister told me I was going to die the next day , which I didn't and she got mad because I deserve it -.- , IM NOT AN ATHIEST.

I have a swimming carnival on Friday and my mum works at reception at my school and I m refusing to go because I feel uncomfortable swimming and when I told her that she went up to the sports coordinator and made him give me a lecture on why I m supposed to go. We go in the car and I she started screaming at me saying that I have to go and I said no and I feel uncomfortable swimming and she said stop lying at the top of her voice and said IF YOU SAY THIS TO ME ON FRIDAY AND I WILL BE SO ANGRY YOU WILL WISH YOU NEVER LIVED this made me cry and I kept saying no I m not going, so she hit me in arm which made me cry even more (btw I m 12 in year 7) and then she said I m sick of you crying!!!! And then I told her to shut up and she said do you want me to punch you again ?!!! And i said in the middle of that be quiet so she hit me again but not as hard I told her that I hate her and she said I hate you too at the moment and your so hard to live with and the rudest bitchiest little girl I ve ever met so I cried even more clenching my arm because it had a big bruise on it (I bruise very easily) I am now sitting in my room crying and don t know what to do. PLEASE HELP

I am the youngest of 2 older sisters. I personally dont see any resemblance between me and them but some people have said we can tell we're all related. The thing is: i feel like im the ugly sister. Im 15 and they are 23 and 21 and everyone has always commented on how pretty they are. Even people at my school are always like "hey hook me up" or "your sister makes me feel bad about myself" etc. Will I look like them?? Even when they were my age they were still prettier than me. Help!

my mom texted me like 20 minutes ago (at 10:30) to go to sleep... she's at a friend gathering and texted me that. my curfew is 9 and I can't have sleep over unless it's the family friend I have that she knows. she constantly texts me "what's up" or "where are you" like 5 times an hour and puts me down, says I'm gaining weight, never really says anything positive. what do i do with my mom? also when I turn 18 do I stand up for myself and rebel against what time I come home? or just keep kissing her ***?..

I have an MAJOR issue with this family!! They seem to purposely get on my nerve when I do go and take my son to see them. Whenever I tell them an accomplishment my son made, they always gotta come back with how popo is better somehow. Btw, popo is 2 months older than my son and he is from my baby dads cousin.
