I started working before him and when I was leaving one day he asked my name and I told him "Its Whitney" and then he shook my hand and said "Nice to meet you" and then we had a little small talk. I'm a teenage girl so my mind started racing, wondering if he liked me. The next day he said hi, and asked "Its Whitney right" and I said yes, and he smiled and said "I remembered". We made eye contact a few times that day. Yesterday I saw him again for the second time. We passed each other a few times. Then I was walking by and saw he was siting on the sofa talking to someone who lives in the facility. He stopped talking to her and asked me If he's seen me somewhere. I told him no I don't think so! He said that again a few times and asked if I knew this girl and I said no. Then he asked for my name and I asked for his. He said it was nice to meet me. He said maybe I've just seen you around here and asked how long I had been volunteering. Well I've only had a few girlfriends and haven't had one in a couple years. So I was acting goofy around her and she goes "If you ever get a girlfriend, don't expect her to stick around if you act like that." It was as a joke but it hurt. At one point, some kids go down to the basement, then hang out and play video games. People start leaving the party then it's just some others and I left and I put on a movie and everyone settles. So I sit with a girl that's a family friend and I've known since the 3rd grade, and she's kind of leaning up on my left. So I decide, "Why not?" and wrap my left arm behind her back with my hand reaching over and my right kind of over her stomach and place my hand on her left side (Basically like a hug from behind/the side). And pushing to do some exercising. My gf isn't overweight. She's looks average but it's because she's "Skinny Fat" where even though her weight is a small number she looks average sized. I'm pretty sure it's because she doesn't eat and when she does it's junk fast food. She does the crazy diets that really does nothing. She's 23 and I think she's messing up her metabolism. When I take her out she always cleans her plate, and when I come over I always ask if she wants food(cause I do and she keeps her fridge empty) most of the time she answers with "i'm ok" or "not that hungry" but will still eat whatever I bring as if she was. I feel like if I can get her into more active dates that require energy she'll get used to eating a bit more and understanding fixing healthy snacks. I want her to be happy with her body. From the beginning I've always told her I loved her body and how amazing she looks. But we spend may 5/7 days a week together and I've noticed more and more stuff and think I should try helping besides compliments and such. I'm not trying to turn her into a health nut, because I'm not but sometimes I think she borders near an eating disorder without the vomiting :/ |

Ever since then things between us have felt crazy. We've both gotten older by a year and we distance from eachother so much. I still know that I have feelings for her, but we agreed to just be friends and for me to stop treating her like it was us together because I was just flirting and talking to her. Then it was all cool until I left a voice mail, would try calling her without an answer and then she texted me saying to stop calling and that it's distracting, and then I told her to not text me because it's annoying. She says that when I call her and talk to her I make it so she has trouble falling asleep, even if it's just normal chat. Last time I hung out with her was March and it was cool but still I felt our distance for eachother. And before meeting up she said to not try anything weird like relationship like or whatever. She got irritated with me last visit, told me she's been sad. And last time we talked she said what if I met her down the road 5 years later and we both talked about it and I said I'd see her at a roller rink and I'd put somethinf on the floor to make her fall while skating. She's confusing me and we've been really distant since March honestly. |

When he came to visit me last month, we were together and kissing and one thing led to another and he asked my if he could put it in for just a second, and then that was it. I told him no. Some time passed and things got more intimate, and he asked again. I was caught up in the moment too and so when he asked I didn't say no, but I didnt say yes either. I just let it happen. He started to put it in in, but it hurt/ As this was happening, I regretted it immediately and sort of pushed him off of me. He says he worked at a grocery store, and was used to helping people, and he lifted all the heavy stuff for me. He even took the buggy back. He was very sweet. I'm in this great relationship with this girl (she's 17 and I'm 18) together, her and I are better than great. She is the most amazing girl in the world and to me the sun rises and sets on her. The way we both feel for each other is just almost too hard to describe, we couldn't seem to stay away from each other and it was so great. But recently her dad got a new job and they ended up moving to Minnesota for his work. (I live in New Jersey by the way) so it's not like she is right around the corner from me anymore and it was so hard to hear that from her I felt like the ground I was standing on was just crumbling from under me, and she said she felt the same exact way when she found out she was going to be moving. But we text, talk on the phone, and skype-FaceTime whenever we can because we both agreed that just because she moved away that wasn't going to be it. We are so committed to one another, and that honestly makes me feel so good. So my main question is: how am I going to be able to come visit her? I recently got a job and have been saving enough money so that's no issue, I guess what I'm wondering what would be the best way of travel? Also just some general advice on having a happy and successful long distance relationship. (Please only positive and nice answers :) |
