What will happen is both of us will be going to the same event, like dinner with friends or something, so she'll ask for a ride, which I'm fine with because we're both going to the same place. But then once I've agreed to that she'll ask me to leave the event less than halfway through to drive her to some other event, like dinner with other friends. I'm fine with giving rides as long as we're both going from point A to point B together but when she wants me to leave point A early to drop her off at point C and drive myself back to point B, I feel like that's more of a service. One time one of our friends told her no and she was very passive aggressive about it and refused to go anywhere with her afterwards. How do I politely tell her no next time she asks? |

I try to make friends, but as I stated before, most people want nothing to do with me. What is my purpose in life? I don't want to call them traumas because there are so many more people out there who have it worse off then a middle class white girl, trust me I am not stupid...even tho I think so most of the time. I come from a really nice family and we love each other and care a lot about each other. I have everything a girl could want. But I have had some pretty shitty body image problems, I live off of under 400 cal a day on a good day and between 500-800 on a bad one. I lost about 9lbs in one week, . In case any of you were wondering *probably not* I'm 5ft 4in and 121.6lbs. Nobody has noticed because all of my "friends" obviously don't care. I can't talk to anyone about this because I don't want to be a burden. I'm not going to talk to my mom bc I don't want her to treat me different, the school said they can help me out and she is there if I need anything but councilors lie! and they only know that I'm sad from my dead dog and grandfather. I also have been dealing with self mutilation/harm since I was 8. It started with wrist banging and now it's grown to some cuts and I really want to tell someone *besides my friend bc she already knows* but I can't because I don't want to seem like I'm just "looking for attention". My best friend rarely seems to care or even if she does its like she gets annoyed by me or we are more like aqquaintances.. So i get things change as do people but what happened here? Last year we were inseperable she would always text me, wish me good luck texts even before my game or text me after saying "heard you won congrats😘" we would always hang out, have so much fun, be laughing and smiling, this year is so different. She doesnt text me anymore..it always me and sometimes i dont because it takes her long times to reply and sometimes she says im sorry for not texting as much ive been busy like thats ok! I understand we get busy! So do i, we both do sports and stuff.. I tried making new friends and i have a lot but she is someone im kind of caught on.. Cuz idk what changed. She got closer with this girl who likes to party and drink and smoke a lot amd my best friend is starting to do that more and i dont do that.. Its her life she can do what she wants but sometimes a few days shell be perfectly fine not exactly the way it used to be but shell say hi to me and start a conversation other days she stare at me and walk right by me.. I've been really lonely and complaining about it out loud. I guess she got tired of it so i'm going to this camp. I've been to camp before in 4th grade for 1 week and I had the best time. I went with kids from my school because the camp was for the school. This time it's a summer camp so I won't be going with friends. I asked them if they wanted to but they're all doing something else. It's about a week and a half or 10 days. It starts July 4th. I'm not necessarily nervous about no one liking me but more about not knowing what to do and being to nervous to ask for help. I guess I do want people to like me because half the reason i'm going is to make more friends. I just hope I don't embarrass myself. How do I feel as calm about this experience as possible? My "best friend" doesn't really care about me and she is in this singing group thing and the people who run it won't let anyone else join. I have other friends but they all hang out in groups or they are best friends and they seem annoyed when I talk to them. I just need to know what I can do at recess, whether it's hiding in the bathroom or drawing, I just need something to do so I'm not just sitting on the ground looking lonely. They always say I'm nice and so on but they are really in general mean to me. Same with guys, I get a long with a lot, but none of them want to hangout or be seen with me. Im 17, and have terrible grades, no girlfriend, and parents who don't support my decision and who I want to be. Today I was in class and I was talking to a girl who I'm close friends with and I asked her what's wrong with me. She told me that I'm just not a person that's meant to have things, that other people can but I can't. All my friends she compared me too that have scholarships, good grades, loving parents, and beautiful girlfriends. It's like every person I be nice to and get the worst possible outcome while others don't go the extra step to genuinely help people. I'm a loser and no one cares. I'm happy but I have days when I feel sad and I can't hide it. As much as I want too I just can't. I would be sad and everyone would accuse me of being dramatic or 'acting' out. But however when another kid who apparently means more is sad they all jump in supportively and show empathy. I just don't get life. I'm so nice to everyone and try my best to be a good person, but the world shuts me down. I can't talk to anyone without getting a stern shutup. When I stopped contact he called me told me he missed me. We talk now But they have not wished him a nice birthday on his social page and he has been upset even ignored me. They never failed to before. I can't help feeling for them I think he may have treated them badly because of me. I feel like I have caused him a lot of frustration. I helped him through a difficult time financially and emotionally and we made plans. It hurt that he wasn't honest I just loved him still do. So I had a good friend, they and I were pretty much the same- same social status in school, same grades, played the same sports , etc. A day ago, we were doing a project, after completing the project I decided to set up weekend plans, immediately, they snapped back and said "f__k off you dumb ******" I had no idea where that came from. I was shocked and a bit hurt. I tried contacting them on Facebook and twitter- but they blocked me and began spreading rumors about me. I still don't know why they snapped on me. And to make it even worse- they are now talking to my other friends behind my back, so now both of them aren't taking to me. A few minutes ago, they apologized, and unblocked me on Facebook but I don't know how to react to that. They called me a ****** and gave me death threats. Should I still talk to them? Part of me wants to cut them out of my life for good. Any opinions? Update: They are still acting a bit odd. They are reposting and deleting pictures of me on Facebook and they are commenting on my posts then deleting them. I think I am being stalked online by them. (????) |

Posted: 09 Jun 2015 03:01 PM PDT So, today during lunch my two best friends and I were having a conversation, and we started talking about something that makes me uncomfortable (we'll just say it was a crude and disrespectful conversation topic). I told them that it was making me uncomfortable, and my one friend stopped, but the other one just laughed and told me I could leave if I wanted to. We have talked about this subject on multiple occasions and she knows that it makes me uncomfortable. I talked to her about it later today, and she said that while she wouldn't bring it up but that if others did she would join in. She also said that I needed to either tune it out, leave, or learn to talk about it. I don't think that my friends should be okay with me being uncomfortable in a situation, I know that if there was a topic in a group that came up that she was uncomfortable with, I'd change the subject. I just feel like she doesn't care that it makes me uncomfortable. Do I have a right to still be upset? |

Well, one of my friends who lost her mother a few years ago completely flipped out and bullied this new girl, told us not to trust her, tried to exclude her and buy her, etc. since I had been bullied at my old school there was no way I was going to let this happen(considering my friend's mental health and truth telling skills aren't that great) so I decided to befriend this girl and was the only one in our friend group brave enough to disobey the other one. Well it's the end of the year, and it ends up my psycho friend was right. The new girl is now a complete b**** and is rude to me and trying to steal my other friends. Personally I want revenge against her since now my only friend is an insane chick and it's because of me the b**** ever got friends in the first place. During lunch and recess, she sits down alone. We've tried to talk to her, but all she says is, "I want to be alone." I need to do something about it, but I don't know what! I don't want her depression to lead to suicide! |

Posted: 09 Jun 2015 02:37 PM PDT molly story: she was my best friend until i realized that whenever she is with one of her other friends, she completely ignores me. she always cusses on texting and says things on it that she would never say in real life. she has turned into a complete snob and always talks to me if her friends aren t at school or at another place. she s turned into a completely different person and she thinks that she is the best thing ever. she just uses me as if i am a tool that you can use over and over again. maddy story: she makes me feel the worst. she treats me like i m the best thing that has ever happened, and then when she is bored or annoyed of me, she leaves me in the dust. this is what she does only to me. she has a ton of other friends, and when she gets bored of them, same thing happens to them, but she doesn t do it as bad to them compared to me. they were both my really good friends, but they throw me away, and then pick me up like nothing ever happened. i am really hurt by all of this and sometimes i get really depressed by all of this. i wish they would know that i feel this way. i don t want to tell them, but i just want them to know that i am not a back up friend and i shouldn t be treated like a piece of garbage. |

She is really cool and I love talking to her. I want to know if anyone else has any friends with a large age difference because I don't know if she even would consider me a friend or only thinks of me a kind kid. | Question: Nothing to do this summer? (I'll rate best ans.)? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 02:13 PM PDT Ok. So, I'm 13 years old. My school year is ending this week, and I'm nervous about summer. I'm doing a camp, but only for a couple of hours in the morning 4 days aweek, and an art class once a week. But other than that, I have nothing to do. I have some friends at school, but most I don't hang out with outside of school. Out of the people I do hang out with, one of them is going on vacation, and the other two are going out of town the entire time to see family. I'm kinda introverted, but I feel lonely if I never go out, and i miss my friends. I spend a lot of time at amusement parks w my friends, since we all had season passes last year, but I don't have one now. What am I supposed to do? I don't really mind being by myself, but my brother is a social butterfly, and my parents get concerned if I don't do anything with people (since I'm always being compared to him) Do you have any recommendations of things to spend time on? (Fav Tv series, YouTubers, bands, websites, classes, crafts, ways to make some friends to hang out with or smth) Lol and if anyone's got a tumblr tell me so I can go follow u |
| Question: How can i be myself at school? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 02:08 PM PDT People other than my friends know me as the quiet one who never smiles and they treat me like a little kid and I'm 15! The fact is, my friends know I talk but I'm still always not myself around them. I really am a fun, outgoing, happy, and adventurous person but I have trouble showing it. And I hate that people say I don't smile because I smile and laugh all the time, sometimes too much, they just never notice me. That's another thing, how do I get people to notice me? |

My best friend rarely seems to care or even if she does its like she gets annoyed by me or we are more like aqquaintances.. So i get things change as do people but what happened here? Last year we were inseperable she would always text me, wish me good luck texts even before my game or text me after saying "heard you won congrats😘" we would always hang out, have so much fun, be laughing and smiling, this year is so different. She doesnt text me anymore..it always me and sometimes i dont because it takes her long times to reply and sometimes she says im sorry for not texting as much ive been busy like thats ok! I understand we get busy! So do i, we both do sports and stuff.. I tried making new friends and i have a lot but she is someone im kind of caught on.. Cuz idk what changed. She got closer with this girl who likes to party and drink and smoke a lot amd my best friend is starting to do that more and i dont do that.. Its her life she can do what she wants but sometimes a few days shell be perfectly fine not exactly the way it used to be but shell say hi to me and start a conversation other days she stare at me and walk right by me.. I always say hi and compliment her cuz i love her so much and care about her and what to talk to her, but sometimes when i feel i get nothing back it realy upsets me.. Idk what to do or how to cope with this. |

We've never really talked to each other, but she gets along fine with my friends. One day, she told me that my face should be illegal to be shown in public. I've talked to my friends, but they all say I'm overreacting. She's being a bully, and nobody seems to care. It's like she wants my friends to kick me out of the group. | Question: My best friend lies about her grades and weight!? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:20 PM PDT So, my school just had report cards sent out yesterday. My best friend and I are good students, I'm a straight A student and she's an A/B student. This trimester, in ELA, she's had a higher grade than me, until we did a final paper and my grade got pushed up to a 98, and hers got knocked down to a 92. She was really confident that she would get an A in the class, but she didn't. Also, she got a C in math and I got an A. In our school, we also do a hight and weight check for our report cards. She is 4' 11" and weighs 102lbs. I'm 5'4" and I weigh 100lbs. So anyways, on the day of our report cards, she asked me what I got and what my fitness was. I told her exactly what it was: straight A's and 100lbs. I asked her what she got and she told me she got straight A's as well and weighed 89lbs. I believed her and said good job, and then she left the room and her paper fell of her desk and I picked it up and saw what it really said. It was all a lie. She got two A's, one B, one C, and weighed 102lbs. I was devastated that she lied, but I put the paper back on her desk and acted like nothing had happened. Please help! I'm not sure why she lied to me and I want to make sure that are while friendship isn't a lie. What should I do??? 10 points best answer! |
| Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:15 PM PDT When I was younger I fell 3 times on my chin and split it from underneath and once the doctors didn t stitch it properly so my chin looks kinda f d up and its always made me less confident about how I look. Normally nobody notices this but I recently heard from a friend people have been calling me names from the other class and have been making fun of my chin and making nicknames like "long-chin" etc and it really makes me feel bad.My friend didn t even tell me who spread the rumour he just said everyone has been calling me it. I m really starting to lose my confidence even more and I don t know how to deal with the bullies either. I wish I could get plastic surgery.. How do i ever get over this? |

It is a gigantic house they are building, they do not have wealthy friends this is a small town, everyone knows everyone's business and she is posting the entire blue prints to her new house being built.
