Question: Is my friend trying to manipulate me/these situations? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 05:04 PM PDT So, my friend and I recently got into an argument and instead of talking to me about it he just stonewalled and refused to say a word to me. At first it made me really angry and then I felt like I must've done something to seriously hurt his feelings so I was sending him texts saying how sorry I was if I offended him and asking him to meet up so that we could talk because I had no idea why he was so upset. This has happened twice before (in the span of our 4ish years of knowing each other). I can't even remember what exactly happened the first time but I remember the second time he stonewalled, his explanation for doing so was because he felt like he was always a dick to me, so he stopped talking because he felt like that would make me feel better. He never explained that to me and the situation that was even occurring at the time was not even dramatic at all, nor was I dramatic about the issue. I, again, tried apologizing over text every so often because I didn't get what the issue was but eventually I just gave up until he reached out 3-4 months later. It's odd because it's not that hard to resolve the issues we've had with a simple conversation but how he acts makes me think he doesn't care about our friendship but then he always says how important I am to him? It makes me wonder if he manipulates the situation into being something where I'm apologizing for everything and taking all the fault so he doesn't have to. |
Question: I m new to this having friends thing.? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:57 PM PDT Do I really have to hangout with this people I call friends to maintain the friendship? I m already okay seeing them once or twice a year. They can just send me text or call me if they want to say something. I feel like it s such a chore to hangout with them whenever they want to or like 3 to 4 times a week. That s just too much for me. Is there any way to maintain friendship without having the need for me to hangout with them? |
Question: Should I still trust my friend.? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:57 PM PDT My friend and I were playing a game and he asked me who I like. I told him and he starts to say that he knows people that have her number and could tell her. Should I trust h with something again |
Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:56 PM PDT I messaged a girl I like over Facebook but she doesn't have the messenger app which means she didn't get my message since she uses her phone for Facebook. I don't know why you have to have the messenger app to talk to people on Facebook with your phone. So I invited her to messenger a couple days ago hoping she would download it but she never did. I know this because it says that she has been on 5 hours ago and stuff like that. Now I have no way of communicating with her since its summer and I don't see her in school. I don't have her phone number either. Now I don't know what to do. |
Question: People always make fun of my last name! Help? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:47 PM PDT Ok so I'm 15 & for as long as I can remember, kids at school have made fun of my last name. My last name is Moran, sounds like moron. So whenever the teacher said our first & last name kids would laugh & I was so embarrassed especially since I'm really shy too. I just wish I could change it because I don't know what to do, its so stressful! :( |
Question: Sexually attracted to best friend's girlfriend? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:41 PM PDT My best friend has an attractive girlfriend. She's also a good friend of me.We all are classmates.Since few weeks,I feel I'm sexually attracted to her.I have been secretly gazing at her cleavage in the past few days, and I was watching her hot Facebook photos again and again. I also fapped several times thinking about her. Don't know what has happened to me.Just want to get rid of this habit. want to think about her as my own sister, but I don't know how to. I want a solution how to get rid of this.thanks. |
Question: Why is my friend acting like this? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:40 PM PDT We no longer work together and we use to hang out. A few months ago we hung out and next thing I know I can't get in touch with him. I later realized he blocked me on his cell. Then possibly unblocked me. Still my friend on social media...I rarely use social media. But any idea why he's acting like this? I don't want to date him we are very different and I don't want someone who ignores people whenever they want. Any idea? I don't block people ever I just tell you how I feel and keep moving...clearly he isn't a friend but I need to understand what's going on I'm a little hurt over this |
Question: Looking for some sound advise? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:39 PM PDT Some background information before getting to my question: I live in a very very strict society and there are no clubs or places to meet new people and most the things one would be able to do in the average western country are illegal here e.g. taking a girl/boy to the park, festivals, concerts (most of them), etc... So to avoid going insane I used to make a lot of friends online when I was younger, but lost contact with almost all of them due to a few years of depression and treatment (you know how it is). The thing is, it used to be so easy and I had friends from many different age groups and countries... now it just doesn't work anymore... I don't know if it's my standards or what, I just can't seem to be able to find a place where I feel at home, figuratively of course. Wherever I go it's full of young people who curse and talk of sex and games... I mean... Is there any place on the internet where one can find sane and proper adults to converse with? Thanks for reading. Btw, I am in my twenties... I do have a good job etc.. I'm not your average basement-dweller, exactly. |
Question: How to tell people that my friend and I are just platonic friends? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:35 PM PDT My best guy friend and I went on the Ferris wheel together because my other friends all disappeared for some reason. A bunch of people who know us saw us and they think that we re now together. Also, he got a ***** because of me. We both tell each other that our relationship is platonic, lol we haven t even held hands yet! But how should I confront other people? |
Question: This weird conversation online? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:34 PM PDT I added an individual who used to go to school with me 6 years ago, and she messaged me , basically saying "woah you used to be so small, now your a grown woman" so i replied, and end up speaking "hey how u doing? i am finishing some work before exames and she replies..."so I get to be really patronising then?" what is that suppost to mean? plus i post 2 photos and instead of liking them or just ignoring, she post a comment "this was clearly taken at the zoo, when we were in the same class" when i post a comment saying, "this was in some park i think" seriously, who does this??? opinions am i over exaggerating? |
Question: What's a good excuse to tell my parents about going to a graduation party? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:32 PM PDT A couple friends of mine want to host a graduation house party a few days after our actual high school graduation. They want to rent a beach house and host it there. It will probably be around an hour to an hour and a half away. However if I tell my parents that it's a house party there is no way i'll be able to go especially since they know house parties involve bad things like alcohol and drugs. Most of the people at the party are likely to sleepover. I would like to sleepover as well but if i stay only for a few hours that's fine too. I know lying to your parents is bad but this will only be the 2nd party i have been to all year long. I'll never get to see most of my friends anyway because we are all going our separate ways. The only idea I had is to say I'm sleeping over at a friends house. But I haven't slept over at a friends house for 2 years(long story). Even so my parents(most likely my dad) would ask for the friend's parents phone number so he can call them up because he never fully trusts me. So I'm well aware that this isnt a great idea but I would just like to be with my friends one last time. What can say without them being suspicious? Is the sleeping over at a friend's house a good idea? |
Question: Do I Accept My Friends Apology? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:29 PM PDT There's this girl in my form. She's really nice and we got on great. We became really close and one day she started causing loads of fights with me. We weren't friends for ages. Recently before school ended we became really close. We hung out everyday. Then she starts ignoring me. Ignoring my texts. I asked her why and she flipped. Now she's trying me saying she's really sorry. But I don't know If I trust her. What should I do? |
Question: How can I help my friend find a job? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:25 PM PDT I have this friend who doesn't really do anything and doesn't have a job. Our other friend was telling me that she and her sister told her that she needs to stop being so lazy and get a job and make her own money or go back to school. Everytime we plan to hang out, she'll say for me to bring at least $50 or $100. Even her guy friend ask her when will she get a job. She's 24 for crying out loud. I know she needs to help herself, but what can we do to help her? |
Question: Do you think appearance affects friendship? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:21 PM PDT Like how you look and how much you weigh. Whether or not someone would be willing to be your friend or if you're currently friends, how close of a friend you actually are? |
Question: What are some fun things to do as a teen when your not with your friends? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:20 PM PDT I have a hard time entertaining myself when I'm not with my friends and Im looking for some things that I can do I live in a small town with no other kids in it that want to hang out with me. Most of my friends are from school and there from all over the place because its a boarding school. I like going outside more than i like being inside. I really need help with this! |
Question: What should i do for my friends? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 04:02 PM PDT I have a bunch of old and new pictures of me and my friends and quotes and stuff on my phone. And I wanted to do something with them. Like a picture slide show or print them off or something. But I can't really think of anything. Pleaseeee give me any ideas |
Question: What do you think about this? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 03:45 PM PDT I am in the high school band, and my friends and I were just hanging out and my boyfriend (of two years) swiped an eyelash of my cheek, and then kissed me on the cheek. My friend (who is female) said, "Ew gross, PDA". She was joking, but that kinda hurt our feelings. So later that day, I texted her saying it did. This lead to an argument. She said that sometimes the PDA he shows makes her feel uncomfortable. However, we only hold hands, give cheek kisses, hug, and in the morning he gives me a (singular) kiss on the lips. She went on, and talked about how the PDA could effect my reputation. And practically inferred that it has... I heavily disagree. Facts about myself: I take honors classes, first part saxophonist, and I have a close friend group. I have known most of them for 5 years or more. My boyfriend and I were friends for 7 years before we were a couple. However, this female friend of mine has only been friends with me for a year or so.. Who is in the wrong? Should I even respond to her texts? I know I shouldn't.. but I care a lot about what people think of me. And what she said hurt my feeling even more. What would you do? Thank you, all opinions are appreciated! |

Posted: 06 Jun 2015 03:39 PM PDT I'm a 22 year old guy. There is a good female friend of mine whom I daily chat with.In the recent days we were discussing about sex,and we talked about how penis sizes matter in sex. Yesterday night, she suddenly asked for some photos of my dick. I feel shy to do so as it's not that much long. and I'm afraid it will interfere with my privacy. What should I do? |
Question: Why are some people racist? Posted: 06 Jun 2015 03:35 PM PDT In grade school I watched in horror as my white classmates tormented a girl to tears because she was black. Though I was disturbed by her pain and my confusion, but bothered me most was the clarity of conscious on the attackers. Once she cried it was as if they had scored a 100 yd touchdown. A few years later I had a friend who ate lunch at school that was monitored by an old white male teacher. Upon returning one day, I found my wonderful, kind and gentle friend skittish and scared. He told the the teacher called him N*****, said he was worthless and blamed him for things he didn't do. Another day this man grabbed two of his fingers and forced them backward forcing him to the floor and called him a N*****. Later I was called into the principals office because my friend had attacked this teacher and wanted me to help calm him down. They thought he was the trouble maker. What is it in the nature of people that enjoy hurting others like this for no reason? |
