Posted: 05 Mar 2018 06:46 PM PST Marriage Question: In Marriage, men taking women's surname is that looked down upon or not? If so why? Don't give the argument about it because God says so. because that is the oldest and possible only saying in the book, I happen to be friends best friends with god and if he says, he doesn't care, then he doesn't care, but he would appreciate it if the woman would take the last name of the man but she doesn't have to, and considering the man wanted to show they are married and if the woman doesn't want to take the man's last name, then the man would make his future wife happy by taking hers instead. Normally this happens when a couple has an only child who is a daughter and the daughter doesn't want her father's name to shall we say die out because he never had a son. But sometimes it happens in families with more than one sibling sometimes it doesn't. Depends on How much you love your fiance as well, too. For example: Women start with their maiden name and then hyphenate it to show their married name like this (maiden name)-(married name), but if a men takes his wife's name, it would be (wifes name)-(His name) or could be vice versa depending on what the wife wanted. God doesn't care about it much as long as the couple agrees on it or something. As long as the husband and wife agree on their married names, he won't care. |

Posted: 05 Mar 2018 11:45 AM PST Single and divorced parents tend to expect you to revolve your free time and life around their kids but whenever you want their time, company or companionship they are too busy with their kids or their exes to care what you need. You are an after thought to them generally yet they expect to be number one on your priority list whenever they need you. When will they ever wake up to reality and understand that life doesnt work that way and how selfish they are being and if they chose to have kids with someone else get used to being last on others priority lists because they treat others in the exact same fashion yet use their kids and exes as an excuse to do so. If they really cared that much about their kids anyways then why didnt they stay married to the childs other parent? Because they were too selfish? |

Question: Divorced. Married. Join my ego boost.? Posted: 05 Mar 2018 05:27 AM PST Married years back. Got divorced after a year together due to him being a compulsive liar & suspected narc. Went into therapy because I doubted myself and if things were like what he called "all in my head". He got remarried 2 months after the divorce was finalized. His wife is pregnant and due to give birth. At the time of the divorce he did not want to return many of my things which I asked for so I just wrote it off as a loss. Also made sure all communications was in text so I have proof. Has been 2 years since we parted ways and no contact. However, I recently received mail from him of old photos, which did not mean anything to me but something to him. Written on the letter was his alias name and an old address. I had a laugh wondering why he even bothered posting them to me and chucked it in the bin. Hope this gives anyone else in the same situation as I was 2 years ago a little bit of hope. |

Posted: 04 Mar 2018 10:54 PM PST I'm having an emotional affair with a single guy. My husband is always working and I became good friends with someone from our church in Provo. My husband is an alcoholic and when he's home he's drunk or passed out. He often sleeps on the couch because he's so drunk. My freidn and I have prayed together cooked together even hiked together. We became closer when my friend was diagnosed with leukemia. I live him like a brother and I've met some of his girlfriends but I'm falling in love with him. These feelings have been happening for 3 years. I sometimes drive him to treatment but I need you to understand I don't want to hurt my husbamd. Once when my friend was feeling sick from chemo I made him soup and he want me to just hold him on the couch. He was in my arms his head on my shoulder and sometimes my breasts. I've been praying on it and I've gone and met an attorney to divorce my husband. Am I out of my mind? All that my friend and I have done is cuddle and kiss. Should I reconsider this? |
Question: How do some men get over their wives infidelity and forgive their cheating wife ? Posted: 04 Mar 2018 09:40 PM PST I'm not married . I have a girlfriend but I'm not married . I'm 29 I have a stable career make good money own my own home. The reason why I'm never getting married is due to my extreme fear phobia of divorce infidelity and betrayal from the woman I care and love the most . My reasoning and thinking is At least if a woman leaves me betrays me divorces me cheats on me while we are just dating I don't lose anything maybe a soar broken heart that eventually heals with time . But if I'm married and my wife left me divorced me cheated on me betrayed me and I divorce her I could possibly lose everything and suffer through the humiliation. I don't even know what I would do if I was in that situation My conclusion is that I would murder and kill my wife If I ever found out she was having an affair And kill the man she cheated on me with. I'm not sure how other men are able to forgive such a betrayal and move on with their lives still married to the woman who hurt betray them. I'm a very jealous and possessive man thats why I stay away from marriage and women . I'm not a guy who should be married . Im dangerous and should stay away from Women and relationships dating marriage all together. But women are attracted and drawn to me for some reason and every girl I dated so far wanted to marry me . When the relationship gets to the point of the woman wanting marriage I break up. It's for the woman's own safety . She is 4th girlfriend who wanted to marry me I broke up with |
Question: Should all forms of marriage be banned? Posted: 04 Mar 2018 06:07 PM PST I think so, I don't see the point in marriage and I don't think romance love is even real. As a straight guy who has been in a lot of relationships with women, I don't think so. I've never really felt a special type of love for a woman. Also according to this website: (https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/vdbjpj/science-says-love-doesnt-exist), the romantic type of love isn't real at all. I mean most couples do seem to break up or get a divorce. I honestly think humanity would be better off if people didn't get into (so called) romantic relationships with each other and marriage didn't exist at all. |
Question: My wife doesn't want kids but I do? Posted: 04 Mar 2018 12:42 PM PST My wife is 41-years-old and I'm 24. We just got married in November 2017 and I have recently stated talking to her about our future together and about how I want children (atleast one) and she says that children will ruin her youth and her life. But her other answer is that she is too old to have kids. 41 isn't even that old. We have been together for 5 years now and in the past she wanted kids but now she changed her mind, she says that she just wants it to be me and her but I just think there's no fun in that. Do you think our marriage can last? I am upset with her. How can I convince her to atleast try to have one? I have always wanted kids. |
Question: My wife’s cat just died, what should I do for her? Posted: 04 Mar 2018 07:38 AM PST |
Posted: 04 Mar 2018 01:52 AM PST we've been together for 3 years. He picked up yelling from his parents and now he yells at me when he's impatient/ over trivial things. I told him that he cant bring the old bad habit from old family to new family. He said he'd try to change but is still yelling at me. When he yells at me it makes me very angry and I can't help but yell back. Vicious cycle. What to do? |
Question: How can I tell my wife I'm leaving her to marry another woman who is carrying my child? Posted: 03 Mar 2018 05:22 PM PST I'm not completely sure where to start. I was raised in the Catholic church until my parents seperated when I was 13. Eventually religion just faded from my day to day life. Fresh out of college I married a girl (I'll just call her R). She was raised in an agnostic household. We had a secular wedding. As time went on and we started talking about having kids I began to remember my times growing up in the Catholic church. It was like a support group, or a larger family. I loved the community and even more important I loved feeling close to God. After months of trying we found out R has many problems and is currently going through ivf. During al this time our marriage got strained. She's didnt understand me turning to religion and I hated feeling like a tool, only useful for my genetic material. Having a baby become her obsession. Then I ran into a childhood friend's little sister (F) and before I knew what was happening I was madly in love. she was Catholic and understood why it mattered to me. Soon she was pregnant. I'm excited but nervous. This has to be a sign from God! I was unequally yoked and strayed but found my way back and was blessed with a child! But the hard part is explaining this to R. Im going to break it to her soon so prayers for courage and strength please! And for R to soften her heart and understand. I need an annulment I assume so F and I can get married in the Catholic church hopefully before the baby is born. Is this something R has to agree too? |
Question: What to do when spouse says its either my pets or him? Posted: 02 Mar 2018 07:24 PM PST I knew my spouse for over a decade before he and I ever dated. The entire time I always had pet cats and had always been someone who loved animals. He has always known this about me. Even after we were married he actually adopted a cat for himself to bring into our home. We now have 5 cats. I had 3, he has 1 and our son was give a cat by my husbands parents. I love these cats and do everything to take care of them. I pay the vet bills, clean the litter box, groom them and clean up after them. My husband has always said he wants the cats to be outside only but I do not agree with this. I think the cats are part of our family however due to his persistence I have had to make agreements with him to make him happy. The cats are kept outside during the day and then put up in our large laundry room at night and only 1 cat can be in the house during the day. I hate this agreement but he has threatened me with divorce if I don't do it. Sometimes our young son lets more than 1 cat in without me knowing and if I don't notice it before my husband does he totally flips out. He says I am disrespecting him by not keeping to our agreement. He constantly tells me that I'm crazy for wanting to keep our cats instead of just getting rid of them. To him they are property that can easily be disposed of and to me they are family and I love them very much. He cannot comprehend why I love them so much. He thinks that I choose them over him. Am I wrong or is he? |

Question: Do you know about all the ruin that females have caused males in modern history? Posted: 01 Mar 2018 04:59 AM PST It usually happens in family situations. By law, females have many more rights when children have come out of the relationship. So females have legal right to ruin the male in any possible way, including financial and rights of parenting. This is the way it more than usually happens. Did you know about this? |
