Question: How much control do my parents have over me if I'm 18? Posted: 01 Mar 2018 02:11 PM PST So I'm not 18 yet but will be in a few weeks. I've gotten accepted into an out of state college and my mom is trying to keep me from leaving the state. She's not helping me pay for college in any way. She hasn't been much help at all in the whole college process or in anything i do for that matter. I don't want to cut her off when I'm 18 and i don't want to have a bad relationship with her. I want to live my own life however. Is it better to cut ties when i turn 18 or tough it out? If I attempted to talk to her what should i say? |

Question: What do i do with my rude sister.? Posted: 01 Mar 2018 05:10 AM PST I have to babysit my 11 year old sister and my 4 year old brother. He behaves better than she does. She trys to boss him around and then they fight. She thinks that because im just her sister i have no authority. But i do. Im aloud to punish her. She talks down to me and thinks she knows every thing. She has a hard time getting and keeping friends, and when i give her advise she rejects it. I honesty think that she has a social disability. But she dosnt try to work around it or with anyone to connect to us. I try to talk to her and its like she hears me through a distorted filter. I have to stay and help my mother. What do i do. |

Question: Rape of a 13 year old by multiple older men question? Posted: 28 Feb 2018 07:31 PM PST So, while trying to find who my father's biological father is, I found out that multiple men of one family raped my grandmother when she was 13. If my father matches DNA, proving they're related, even though its 43 years later can the men be somehow charged? I live in Canada. Also I was threatened by a member of that family by a daughter of one of the rapists. |

Question: She died because of me? Posted: 28 Feb 2018 04:45 PM PST A couple months ago my best friend and i were out drinking at the bars. We ended the night at 2am. I was waiting for my uber to pick me up but my friend had her car. She was obviously drunk. I told her to take the uber with me but she didn't want to. She said she couldn't leave her car downtown otherwise her mom would kill her. I told her she shouldn't drive because she is drunk. She told me to mind my own business. I couldn't drive either, I was also drunk. I tried taking her keys away from her and we kind of faught a little physically. She would push me away and I would try to grab the keys from her to keep her from driving. She was yelling at me to stop and I was trying to reason with her. Until she slapped me across the face, it stopped me. She called me a *****. I got angry and I said, "Fine, go. Drive your car and you'll crash and ******* die." I let her go. My uber picked me up. Next day I hear from her mom she got in a car accident. She was in critical condition in the hospital. She died a couple hours later. I can't live with myself. I feel like it's my fault. Maybe I could have forced her to come with me. Maybe I could have called her mom to pick her up. I could have done something. It's my fault. |
