Question: What to expect at a Muslim wedding reception? Posted: 02 Jun 2016 08:54 PM PDT I have been invited to a Pakistani Muslim wedding reception with my wife and infant. I understand that it will be traditional, with gender segregated rooms. What is the dress code like for these? Also, our whole family is sick right now, so we were hoping to just make an appearance. However, the event lasts for five hours. Should I be prepared to stay the entire time? Hateful comments will be zealously reported. |
Posted: 02 Jun 2016 07:06 PM PDT I am a freelance photographer and my cousin admires my work. She is getting married and wants me to do pictures for her bridal shower, this woman asked me back at the very beginning of March. I know how to separate business and family and I thought she did as well... I draw up the contract in which she agreed to signed and she took an entire month to finally sign it when I start to get on her case. Well she broke the contract not giving me the deposit which was due May 22nd ..ok so she begged me to do the job and she would pay me in full today on June 2nd via paypal..ok the day is almost over and nothing yet. In your opinion folks do you feel I'm justified when I tell her I am not giving her anymore chances and decline from the job..this bridal shower is on Sunday and I am extremely aggravated with how unprofessional this woman is..i never thought I would have a hard time dealing with my own cousin. |
Question: Can a couple have two weddings? Posted: 02 Jun 2016 03:14 PM PDT So what i mean is that me and boyfriend have two different culture and tradition. His parents are from japan and they want a Japanese type of wedding. My parents are Indian and they want a traditional Indian wedding. We both want to make our parents happy so is it okay to have two weddings. |

Question: What is the best travel site and why? Posted: 02 Jun 2016 10:24 AM PDT OR, what are the pros and cons of the various travel sites? Let's say I know of the dates I want to travel, but I don't necessarily know where. Do any of the sites help with that? |

Question: Applaud during the intro of bridal party? Posted: 02 Jun 2016 08:10 AM PDT I'm wondering what the standard is here. I'm from NYC and we do weddings differently (I'm guessing.) I've been to countless northeast weddings and the entire bridal party gets cheers as they're introduced. With of course the crowd really erupting for the bride and groom. So I was in the Midwest for my brothers wedding and was introduced first of the bridal party. So I walk out and expect to get applause so like an idiot I raise my left hand and bouquet. Radio silence lol. I can laugh about it but I'm just wondering if this was a crowd thing or a region thing? |
