Question: How do handle a certain situation? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 03:27 PM PDT So I have this family member who is a horrendous ***** almost all the time. It's an adult who if does't get their way becomes extremely irritate and uses tactics such bullying, terrorising and harassing us into submission. We refuse to give into this person, even though this person makes us pay harsh consequences for not giving into them such as being destructive, verbally abusive, rude and acts like an immature teenage dilinquint. We simply ignore them and not give in. What other advice can anyone possibly give? |

Question: I offered a public apology on Facebook. Now what? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 03:08 PM PDT I found out at church this morning that an old childhood friend(with whom I have lost touch) died in a car accident recently. I immediately went on Facebook and submitted a post about it and tagged the guy in my post. A few hours later I found out that it wasn't a car accident but something more tragic. His close current friends left me replies about how I am wrong for doing that. His older sister even replied and said that she was very upset to read that post. I immediately deleted the post and wrote a new post publicly apologizing for the post and for offending and upsetting people. Now I am getting angry face emojis from everyone. What do I do now? I apologized. Wasn't that enough. What did I do that was so wrong? And when I apologized, I tagged the guy in that post too. Did I really screw up this time? One person private messaged me and told me that it may be in my best interest to stay off Facebook for a couple months. Is there anyone out there who will agree with what I did and how I did it? |
Question: My boyfriend had sex with a teacher? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 03:01 PM PDT I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years, I'm 19 and my boyfriend is 21 and I just found out by looking through his old messages that he cheated and had sex with a teacher once 3 and a half years ago, they haven't done it since. She's 27. I found out 2 weeks ago but I haven't asked him about it yet and he still thinks I don't know. I saw in the messages she's so afraid of getting in trouble and doesn't want to lose her job and they both regret it. He hasn't done it since. Should I tell him I know or continue the relationship with him like nothing happened? I'm thinking about telling on the teacher and getting her into trouble and I would love that or should I let it drop? |

Posted: 19 Jun 2016 11:48 AM PDT so basically since today is fathers day i was hoping today would be fine and just now my parents were fighting. something happened idk what but my siblings aren't home (I'm the youngest) and my mom left for work. After that I really didn't feel like going out, my dad asked me if i wanted to go out to eat with him and all i said was "why don't we go out when everyones home?" and he just got mad and said "but its fathers day" i don't know what to do now. i love both of my parents equally but when they fight i get scared |
Question: How to make friends? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 11:41 AM PDT I have no friends. I'm 19 and have no friends. I'm lonely and have no bf. I have a job. Why does no one like me? How to make friends? I'm lonely and I'm so depressed. |

Question: My friend's boyfriend is completely insane! What should I do..? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 11:09 AM PDT I work with this girl and finally met her boyfriend after she's been trying to work it out so we can all go out together forever. She's told me he's crazy and a little manic but I thought a little random and adhd like you know? He's insane! It's like Russell Brand on speed. Most accurate description I can come up with. In a few hours he ranted about everything and anything, with her going right along with it like it was normal. Flirts with EVERYONE male or female and I don't mean like smalltalk, I mean all over people in their laps including mine, at some point he sat in a cashier's lap at a convenient store and brushed through his hair ranting about flute music. He was about to throw his shoe at a car that almost hit him because HE walked into traffic but she talked him out of it. I mean he's funny, at first I thought he was just joking cause he's really camp and all that too...but this guy's completely crazy. So she's already like ok, when are we gonna do this again, cause I know you want to now cause you love him right? And I don't know if I want to cause he's just crazy idk what he could possibly get into. She's kinda crazy too but I can handle her! She might be the same kind of crazy but she's chill and not so manic and wide eyed and aggressive about it...what do I do if I don't necessarily wanna hang out with him again? They're moving in together soon which is going to make excuses really difficult.. |
Question: Is she excused from wishing husband a happy birthday? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 11:05 AM PDT My friend's wife is currently doing her fellowship in children's surgery. She's working all day today possibly. It's also my friend's (her husbands) birthday today. So obviously she hasn't seen him all day but he says she hasn't called him nor even texted him to wish him a happy birthday or say she loves him or anything. Is that weird on a birthday to not even take a second to text or call to wish happy birthday or because she's busy it's ok? |
Question: I think my mom has a mental disorder? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 10:39 AM PDT EVERY time I clean up the house, she messes it back up thinking she's cleaning or something! It's so annoying. And when I say clean up I mean putting away all the clothes in the laundry area in baskets separating the dirty from clean. Putting away papers everywhere by throwing them away or putting them in drawers. Putting everything on the kitchen counters away. Putting away everything on the tables. Wiping away any water or anything on the counters. And five minutes later. She has paper back everywhere, the laundry area is a MESS with clothes and towels everywhere. The counters have water on them and **** everywhere on them. BTW my dad doesn't do this AT ALL. He's a lot cleaner and organized. I just don't know what to do. I'm 18 and just graduated high school and will be finding a job soon. Hopefully my parents can get me an apartment to live by myself. I just cannot live in an unorganized place and I don't have time to clean up after her every second. Being messy is a disorder. It's disgusting. |
Question: Ext text me & then never responded. Is he just attention seeking, or did I sound cold? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 10:13 AM PDT We broke up just over 2 months ago & he sent me a message on whatsapp saying "Hope you're well :)" I was thinking wether I should reply, so the next day I messaged back "Thanks. Yeah I'm good and hope that things are good with you too." The message didn't go through till after midnight on Wednesday, and then he didn't say anything else. He hasn't really been online after our breakup. Does he just want my attention? Of course I didn't want to tell him that I was trying to get over him and haven't been great. Part of me still wants him back. The break up was sort of mutual. He needed to get his life together. But why contact me now, only to leave it again. I wouldn't mind having a friendly conversation |
Question: Are people who have children these days narcissistic? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 09:51 AM PDT Are people who have children these days narcissistic? (I'm not talking about people who adopt) |
Posted: 19 Jun 2016 09:05 AM PDT My first love and I dated from 16 until I was almost 19. We had a special bond and many great memories. We had many ups and downs but we had a crazy love for one another and a special bond. We had since both moved on. We havent spoken in years. He got married and unfriended me on facebook (probably because of his wife) and I never tried to talk to him again because he was happy. I didn t want to get in the way of that. I really want to go to the funeral, but I don t want his wife to be hurt. I ve never met her and he met her after him and I were over. Should I go? I never expected his death to hurt so much. I ve been with my current boyfriend 6 years and he can t understand why I am so upset and crying all the time. I found a cd mix my ex made me titled "Josh loves Sara vol. 2 . I love you--Josh". I started listening to it and crying hysterically. I think of all our special moments and memories and I tear up. I think the funeral may help me get closure, but I am worried about awkwardness. I never expected the death of my first love to hurt this much. How do I cope? His wife and I share a mutual friend. I was wondering if I should message her to let her know I know she lost an amazing person. And that I cannot imagine her pain, losing her best friend and life partner and that I ache thinking about what she going through. And to let her know I am thinking of her and she is in my prayers. Would that be appropriate? |

Question: Would you keep these type of friends around? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 08:10 AM PDT I have had some females that were not reliable in the past. You would invite them to something and they would not even call to let you know they weren't coming or would cancel at the last minute. Also, I've had some females that I would invite them to something and try to reach out and they wouldn't invite me to anything. Would you cut those type of people out your life and just start over and meet new people? Or would you just put them a category of not really trusting them but do stuff here and there with them? How do you meet genuine friends? |
Posted: 19 Jun 2016 05:42 AM PDT My parents blacklisted me from ever attending a program where people get hairstyle ideas, dance moves and a way of thinking due to me missing out when parents took my teen siblings and eldest sibling. This is my family: 1 - My parents decided to permanently blacklist me from attending such programs while my dad forced me to being something I'm not, a macho man. He now coughs out of derision for what he has made me into. 2 - My eldest sibling got me ostracized by telling lies about me that he does like assaulting family members, wanting to have sex with our mum and throwing tantrum at an age of 28. My eldest sibling now calls me Sheet for because I never will be able to get hairstyle ideas and such. Me - I have always been a non-violent, self-conscious, introverted male who even had the tendencies to following trends well before my siblings even attended such programs. My eldest brother is 28, not me. |
Posted: 19 Jun 2016 02:51 AM PDT I'm meeting up with Elders almost on a daily basis. We study Book of Mormon but at the same time we talk a lot about casual stuff. The problem is I really like one of the Elders, but I know I can't do anything about it because he's on the mission. But I'm pretty sure he likes me too because of the way he acts around me. He looks into my eyes and smile, sometimes gives me a half an eye wink. The way he interacts with me, and the body language too. Always leaves my place last and turns around to look at me. Am I looking into this too much? I know it sounds like he's just being polite and friendly because that how they are, but he's more than friendly, his companion is not on the same level of friendliness. We girls know when guys are flirting with us. Now thing that bothers me is - what if he flirts with me to convert and just to get me baptised? Also I'm a non Mormon and living in UK and he's a missionary from US. |

Question: Is my Mum right in wanting to keep me away from my Dad? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 01:40 AM PDT I'm 14. I stay with my Dad for 3 days every fortnight. He pretty much lives in a fantasy world and calls it spiritualism. The two main points that worry my Mum are that he says that he loves me romantically & wants to have sex with me, and that he wants us all to move into a house together (after 6 or so years). I've only recently told her about what happened around 4 years ago - he watched prn with me, touched me, and made me touch him. Lately he's been talking to me about things and it's been getting quite serious. He teared up telling me how much he loved me romantically and how he 'desperately' wanted to 'make love' to me. He kissed me multiple times & told me that he had waited years to do it. He also tickled me and told me in detail how much he'd like to tickle me elsewhere. When I tried to reject him very gently, he left & started talking out loud to 'the spirits'. He makes me very uncomfortable and even scares me, but I don't want him to get in any trouble. I know he doesn't mean any harm (he thinks it's acceptable & the rest of the world is wrong) and Mum and I agree that he doesn't fully understand what he's doing himself. I find it kind of hard to be around him but I still want to see him, for his sake. He's nearly 60 & we're pretty much his life. It would absolutely crush him. I want him to be happy. Mum is worried & stressed, though, and wants to keep him away from me & maybe even move quite far away from him. I don't know how to feel or what to do. |
Question: Should I go ahead and file a police report? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 10:01 PM PDT My ex boyfriend started threatening me yesterday. He text me and said he was gonna shoot me in the face, he also said it on the phone as well. It all got started over a debit card that is supposed to be sent to my house. My address is on his ID and that's the only address they would let him put he says. I told him he should have gotten it sent to his girlfriend house. He asked if the card came yet and I told him no which it hasnt. I guess he thought I was lying and that's when he started the threats, saying I'm playing with his money. I started arguing back with him and he kept saying if I kept texting and calling he would call the cops on me for harassment but he started making threats towards me. I let him know that's not cool at all. Saying he can't wait to bust his 40 and all types of crazy ****. He left a voicemail calling me names...saying I'm ugly and he never wanted me. We were together for over a year..broke up in April. He thinks i still want him which i dont...we just had been texting n would see eachother from time to time when he would be in town. He keeps telling me to move on and get over him but he has been coming here on his own and just got a girlfriend like two days ago.I changed my phone number because I'm just sick of him talking ****. My family says I should make a police report because there's no telling what he will do. He lives out of town and is clearly messed up in the head. What should I do?? |
Question: My mother in law still talks to my husbands ex what to d? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 09:48 PM PDT So my mother in law has this thing that if she's been super close to people in the past that shouldn't matter now she will still keep in contact with them especially on Facebook. For example people like her ex boyfriends family. She still considers them family even though she's married to another guy. She has no kids with her ex either. Anyways when me and my husband started dating she would talk to his ex still. I like to mention this ex jeopardize my relationship with my husband a bunch of times even after we got married. Anywho, my mother in law worked at a local library and always told me that she would see her and talk. I tried not to let it get to me. My husbands ex has a son with another guy who she's not with cause he's in jail and one year for Christmas my mother in law decides to invite her and her son over when I was with my husband (at the time boyfriend) and not me. I let that go even though it hurt me. Well recently my mother in law got fired from her job so I thought maybe she stopped talking to my husbands ex cause that's the only place she would see her. Recently I saw on Facebook that she comment my husbands ex status saying she was sorry for the loss of a family member which she knew and that she's praying for her and her family. She also stated that she's there if she needed her. I think this is going to far and it makes me sad cause me and her have a good relationship but she still holds on to the past like my husbands ex. What should I do? |
Question: Do I tell his wife he's cheating? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 08:29 PM PDT I've been dating a man who unbeknownst to me is married. We met one day when I was walking home in the neighborhood after grocery shopping. He lives in the neighborhood too and approached me, introduced himself, chatted for a while and exchanged numbers. He was very polite and friendly. We've gone on dates since and he's always been a gentleman. Well I recently decided to look him up on Facebook, and Google and was horrified to find that he's been married for 8 years, with 3 children including a 1 year old baby girl! He professes his love to her on Facebook and I doubt she knows what he's up to. I also found out that he lied about his age - he's 50 but told me he was 42! I am a 25 year old woman but I look even younger than my age which makes me wonder why he ever approached me to begin with. I confronted him about this but he just said he "married her for papers" which is obviously a lie. I'm so upset about this and feel bad for his wife. My question is how do I go about handling this? Do I let his wife know? They seem happily married and I don't understand how someone can disrespect the person they love like that. |

Question: If a girl did this stuff in class? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 07:29 PM PDT So today in class i was looking down & doing my work & then when I looked up I saw the girl i liked looking at me & smiling then she looked down at my chest while still smiling then she looked up at my face while still smiling so I just looked away..then when I was talking to one of my friend I couldn't really hear him cause I had my headphones on & he said justin did you hear what I said & i said no. Then I heard her telling her friends that I crack her up and said that I was quiet but funny. Then later I heard her telling her other friends again that I'm quiet but funny. Then later i saw her looking at my direction |
Question: Is it rude to suggest that one of their ancestors was abusive even if he was mine too? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 07:14 PM PDT So I learned one of my ancestors went missing in 1903, it was suggested she fell of a steamboat in the middle of the night with her daughter. But they never truly found out. I started to email the woman who wrote the article she is also a descendent of the husband. He was wealthy, and I think he may have been abusive. She left without telling him. He filed a lawsuit against the owner, then disappeared. Either he was murdered, or he fled. Trying to protect the family name. The woman who wrote the article is probably trying to find out what happened too. But whould it be rude suggesting he was abusive? We never met, and she lives across the country. Or what do you think may have happened? |
Question: How can I live a better life, a happier life? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 06:55 PM PDT I do not speak English, my daughter is currently translating. I've been a divorced parent for about 10 years and life keeps on getting harder. My ex-husband doesn't give my children a penny even with the child support bill on his mind. I have three children and I have full responsibility of them, my ex does nothing. He doesn't even come to talk with the children which has affected them a bit, mostly my son. I have to work almost every day ( Monday-Saturday) and some Sunday's from 8-5 and I have no paid days off. I can't quit because I don't know English and I can't get a better job. I try to look for classes and my oldest child try's to teach me but the classes are either too early, or too late. I work at cleaning houses sometimes 2-6 per day ( same houses every week) and I'm too tired to do anything. The thing that helps a bit is doing excersizing, dancing, and knowing that my children will have a better future. But sometimes I don't have time to excersizing, so dance even for an hour. Because I have work, or events with my children. everyday I'm feeling more stressed out. I want to change my life but I don't know how. What do you suggest? |
Question: Ever say something you regret? How'd you get over it? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 06:23 PM PDT Last night I said something bad to my parent that I really regret. Now I dont want to leave my room and see them. Its just too awkward for me! What do I do? How can I get over this? I feel like I hurt their feelings. I was just mad & it was over pretty much nothing. |
Question: Is it ok for a teenager to not want a sweet sixteen party? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 06:00 PM PDT My birthday is October 17th which sucks because it's on a Monday. But, I was planning on having a party that weekend. I've changed my mind now and I want to go to the Beyoncé concert for my bday the concert is in September. My mom said it can be my earlier bday gift for my sweet sixteen and I'm fine with that. I've had parties all my life and I figured that it doesn't hurt to try something new and different. I've never been to a real concert before and I think it would be a great opportunity for me to go in September and having a big fancy bday dinner. Is it ok not have a party for sweet sixteen and experience something different and cool? |
Question: Am I ungrateful with my promise ring? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 05:43 PM PDT Hi everyone :) Last year for my 17th birthday my boyfriend bought me a beautiful promise ring. I absolutely love it, but we just had to get it sized today because I ve gained a little weight and my tiny little fingers got a wee chubby. So we went to Walmart and got it sent out for resize for free. Well to be honest, I wanted a new ring. The ring I have is missing a stone, the metal is a little bent and it is wearing away, plus the stones on the outside are cloudy now (it was $48, but I still adore my ring). The ring isn t the same quality as when he first bought it for me. I ve never asked him for much in our relationship, we ve been together for a year and a few months. I just feel bad for wanting a new ring, but my current one is falling apart. I d always keep it with me though. But do I seem like a spoiled, ungrateful brat for wanting a new ring? I don t know what to do. |
Question: An ex-best friend will staying at my house for a week! Help? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 05:15 PM PDT I have had a friend (I'll call her Ally) since we were kids, but we're now in highschool and have started to drift apart. When I say drift apart, it's mostly our personalities, friend groups and conversations have changed to the point where she will get on my nerves very easily. The thing is we're next door neighbors and our families are very close. Ally's house is getting remodeled and her family has to stay in a hotel, but her mom texted mine to ask if she could stay at our house instead so she wouldn't be bored. So of course my mom said yes and she will have to stay at my house in my room for 7 days and won't leave. But mostly I just need some advice on how to deal with this. I have a lot of work (and i am very introverted so I do like my alone time) and all she'll want to do is talk to me and hang out. She has a constant need to talk about snapchat and her other friends so this is not very fun for me. |
Question: I like some one but they may not like me.? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 05:03 PM PDT He is amazing. He's cute. When we watch movies in class he lays on me. He sits on my lap. And always, always touches me. Also he tries to hold my hand. So pointers, help or any thing....yah, ok thanks! The only reason I, questioning it is because he sometimes comments on my weight. |
Question: In law crisis over Facebook. what to do help!!!? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 04:14 PM PDT My girl cousin who is like a sister to me deleted my mother in law and sister in law off of Facebook recently because she hardly talks to them and she found them both inappropriate on Facebook. Well I guess they both found out cause my sister in law starts texting me telling me that her and her mother are hurt and that we made her mom cry? I kinda found a little silly and childish cause it's just Facebook who cares right? Anyways she calls my husband who's her brother and starts telling him stuff and she messages my cousin on Facebook and wrote a long paragraph saying how she made her mom cry. She wouldn't stop attacking us basically until I told her stuff and blocked her on my phone. I don't have a Facebook by the way and these reasons are why I don't have one. So now they are both mad and won't talk to us over this. Is it dumb or am I wrong? I don't want them to be mad or hurt but my sister in law really crossed the line when she started talking stuff to my cousin. Its making my husband and I fight a lot cause I'm very angry towards his family to the point I don't wanna ever see them again. I have a child with my husband and I don't wanna keep my child away from them but I find them so immature. What should I do? I don't want this to become an issue in mine and my husbands marriage. Any advice on the situation? |
Question: What to do if sister is using you? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 12:46 PM PDT My sister plays this game of correcting me on face book. Like if I respond to her post a time period she things is to late. She will put a video on procrastination. If I post something about my girlfriend and I separating for a little bit, she will post something on her face book about a book on relationships. She's doing this because my father and I are not getting along right now. How can I tell her to stop, its on her facebook. Only problem is she put a post about a person with epilepsy who works at Lowes, and my mom and her worked for Lowes at one time. She pointed me out and her family and friends gives thumbs up. Some probably don't know, but it's intimidating. |
