Question: She has just accepted her Uncle as close family? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 01:55 PM PDT I recently got marrired to a wonderl man. We go over my sister Paula's house often. I know this is silly what I am asking but is it harmless? About a week or so back our 8 year old neice LeeAnn got a spanking which my husband ventured in on. He honestly thought that LeeAnn had hurt herself when he heard her starting to cry so he walked in on LeeAnn over Daddy's lap with her dress up past her waist. No harm really happened cause we are family but here is what I hope is not a problem? I know this is silly. LeeAnn has always stayed covered up around Uncle Mark at nightime. She wears a short nightgown and is not embarrassed if she has on a swimsuit or boyshorts. She normally wearrs a basic nylon brief with her short nighgown which she wears a robe over if we are there. Ever since Mark walked in on her getting a spanking she comes out to visit in her nightie with no fear of Uncle Mark seeing her white panty. Is it harmless for LeeAnn to now be "open" or not shy in this way with Uncle Mark??? |
Posted: 16 Jun 2016 01:43 PM PDT I think I'm scarred for life now. My brother is 20, I'm 18. Anyways our parents are the type that kick you out as soon as you graduate, and I thought I would get a free pass being the daughter. Go figure. So I asked my brother if I can stay with him. I'll cook, take care of the house, while still working my own job. My brother has always been the quiet type, doesn't care much. He just told me he didn't care, he let me stay. I came home yesterday sooner than expected. Was thinking of doing a scare on my brother. Just to get a little laugh. Sneak to his room. Giggle a bit. Open the door screaming and I am scarred. Girl looks at me horrified, I look at her horrified, my brother has a straight face. This all happend yesterday. I haven't brought it up and I honestly think my brother doesn't give a crap. Should I mention this to him? Just leave it behind? Should I just a apoligize in a card? |
Question: Was this reasonable? My daughtdr got the point, but I feel bad? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 01:42 PM PDT I've been a mom for many years, I have a 23 year old (Kelly) who is off doing what she wants working and all that, she's never really home, a 15 year old, (Bella) a 13 year old, Karmen and a 9 year old, Elise. Well, We were at the dinner table, (eating lunch) and Bella wanted seconds, which we were out of, and Karmen said "because Isabellas fat self ate it all!" (Which wasn't true) Bella is a little bit on the chunky side, but isn't everyone? She's probably 7 pounds overweight, but all the chunkiness is in her butt lol but she began to cry and went to her room. I told Karmen she would be allowed a snack in between lunch and dinner but would not be getting dinner for that comment and would go straight to her room while we watched movies like we do at night. She screamed how unfair it was that she wasn't to blame for her sister being a fatass, at that point I sent her up to her room and took her phone charger, took her xbox cords, ipad charger, and she is grounded for a week. i brought her carrots and ranch as her snack in my long time being a mom I'vd never taken dinner but it was the context that she called her sister fat so dinner was witheld, dinner isn't a privilege and shouldn't ever be but I feel bad.. |

Question: What is the appropriate dollar amount to spend for a retirement gift for my parents? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 01:29 PM PDT Both of my parents are retiring. My mother's co-workers are throwing a party for her tomorrow night and I'm invited (along with my wife and kids), my father's co-workers threw a party at work. Question is... I'd like to get them each a gift card as a gift - my mom likes crafts (so I'll get Michael's) and my dad likes tools (so I'll get Home Depot), but what is an appropriate DOLLAR AMOUNT to spend on each of them? I was thinking $50 each - is that too low? Thanks! |
Question: My father can't accept who I am? what should I do? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 01:22 PM PDT He always wants to move forward. He's a workaholic. Never can sit down for a while or take a vacation, and is always trying to be productive. He also likes to go out on weekends, and socialize. I on the other had, am almost the exact opposite of him... He always wanted me to go to college, but I didn't, because I do not want to earn more money, I want to find a job that I love. I'd love to do a lot of things. I'd love to be a cook, computer repair technician, professional driver or to have a job in an IT store... Those are the jobs I'd absolutely love doing. And none of them require a college degree. So even though I had good marks in school, always having nearly a 4.0 GPA. I decided that it'd just be a waste of time, as it requires a lot of effort that would go to waste... I still live at his house, but I pay rent and help with the chores around the house, but he still criticizes me on a daily basis, says I'm a disappointment because I didn't go to college (not only to me, but all his friends and our family), never compliments on anything but always throws everything I do wrong in my face etc. It really makes me want to run away and leave everything behind... I tried telling him that I'm going to leave in the future, and told me to stay, so he wouldn't be alone in the house (my parents divorced 4 years ago) and that he'll stop. But he didn't... What should I do? |

Question: I let my parents down? Don't know what to do? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 12:32 PM PDT I am an only child and an immigrant. My parents only bought me to America so I can have the best education and get into an top tier college (which didn't happen). They spent a total of 7 years applying for legal immigration just so I can have this opportunity, because the best colleges are located in America and its much easier to get in as a domestic applicant . I am attending college in the fall, but just a regular state college. I let them down and don't know want to do. All their hardwork went to waste. |
Posted: 16 Jun 2016 12:21 PM PDT I'm 27 years old, My (now 37y.o.) sister disconnected from my life when I was 12-ish (she moved with birth father). I just reconnected with her ~9mths ago, her constantly bringing up childhood memories I had no idea about. Over time, most of these memories came back to me and weren't blurry anymore, among them my dad molesting me. I brought this up to my sister, and she said she knew he did it. She had me remember before age 10, I asked to touch her boyfriend's bald head, and when I felt it, I responded saying "that feels like my daddy's [P-WORD]", and they were confused/worried about what I said. To explain how I was molested: My dad took me to his room one evening, gave me a aerosol spray bottle, I played with it with him around, inhaled it, passed out while hallucinating, I woke up from the experience with the tv on loud, my shorts unbuttoned, and my dad was locked in the bathroom. Then before high school (younger than 14), I went out of town with my dad for his work, and got a hotel room for just two of us. I took a shower before bed, and he claimed to need to come in the bathroom to use the toilet. After he was done, he pulled the shower curtain open, I pulled it closed, and he forced it open again saying "no, I want to see". I started crying hysterically, hyper ventilating, heart beating out of my chest. He backed off and left the bathroom. Since then I looked for answers on my reaction and his motives/actions. |
Question: HOW TO STOP MEN FROM FLIRTING WITH MY LITTLE SISTER?? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 12:00 PM PDT I'm an 18 year old boy but so many older men (20+) flirt with my little sister. It pisses me off so bad and giving them dirty looks never stops them. I can't tell her to not wear revealing stuff either because she doesn't listen. Question: Intervention for Weed? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 11:59 AM PDT My family including parents and grandparents are holding an "intervention" for my occasional marijuana use. I am in honors and AP classes in high school and also have a job. Is there a way to convince them that I can be successful and still smoke and that some of the success did come from smoking? |
Question: Why am I grounded for protecting my belongings? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 11:39 AM PDT So my 7 and 9 year old sisters are always stealing my makeup so I bought a mini locker with a lock on it and put it in there. My sisters got really mad and told our mom that I wasn't sharing and that I was being mean. My mom always listens to them so she grounded me. Why do you guys think that happened? |

Posted: 16 Jun 2016 11:23 AM PDT Okay i'm from london and im 18. I live with my mum and dad in a massive house, my parents are millionaires. I don't mean to sound big headed or anything but this is all relevant. My parents are in france for a few weeks so i had the whole house to myself. My gf 18 also, has never stayed in mansion before so i said she could stay with me untill my parents get back. We were chilling in the Jacuzzi smoking some weed... I know thats bad but we were just having fun... after few hours we smoked a lot and we were both high as f*ck. really high... I can handle the pot but my gf got a little light headed and she almost fainted. I lay her down on the bed and shes sweating quite a lot and i can barely make out what shes saying... shes very high and talking nosence. I asked her if i should i call the doctor but she said no. I dont know what the hell to do... Iv put a wet towel on her head to cool her down. will this affect on her wear off eventually or is she gonna get worse. right now her state is not getting any better. is she allergic to weed or something.. btw i cannot risk police finding out about this. If my dad found out i smoke weed he would cut off my weekly allowance . thats why im not sure if i should take her to hostpital. help plz okay fine ill call the doc... you guys are right. for those who still care... the doc said shes not gonna die and she should get better soon. she just needs to sleep it off. He also said he wouldn't go to the cops but he game me a lecture on use of drugs and to "know your limit" Thanks for you help anyway for those who replied. But if this happens to her again, because i know what to do now, should i not call the doctor from now on. There is always a risk, so idk FYI i specifically asked my parents to take me to public school. I dont need to go to a fancy private school. As for my grammar i was high af when i wrote it and still kinda high now and i was also panicking. |
Question: Did I give my cousin good advice? PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR OPINION? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 11:22 AM PDT I am a 20 year old guy with a female 35 year old cousin Ann. She is gorgeous. When she was in high school she won several beauty contests. My guess is she is a 34G. We became very good friend since she was divorced 2 years ago and now she told me she wanted to start dating again and since she had not dated in 16 years she wanted a man's point of view on some things. She asked me which guys prefer long or short hair? I told her it didn't really matter much but in general most guys have a slight preference for long hair. She wanted to know if she should dye her hair blonde. I told her any color of hair on her would look good as she was a beautiful woman. She wanted to know if her big boobs were a turnoff for guys I was a little uncomfortable talking about her boob size but I told her the truth. Most guys like big boobs and hers were just fine. Then she hit me with the big question. "Do guys expect sex on the first date?" I told her most guys would like to have sex on the first date but if she did not want to have sex on the first, second, or third date then she should not do it. She should only have sex when SHE was ready. She thanked me for being truthful with her and giving her good information. She said "I hope I did not make you uncomfortable with these questions". I am just 20. I need guys with more experience to tell me if I give her good information. |
Posted: 16 Jun 2016 11:19 AM PDT My mom charges me $300 in rent, makes me pay all lights which is usually $280 monthly and she also makes me buy most food and give her gas money! I finally got my appointment set with DMV for my road test after years of her discouraging me not to since she wanted to move to AZ and licenses are cheaper -_- she aggreed to help me and let me use her car for the test & cancelled on me the day before, pretty much ensuring I had no way to take the test. She has been asking me for help as long as I could work and I've always given it but now I feel I'm being taken advantage of. I pay almost $900 a month in bills alone & get no say so in the house. Rent is $900 so she pays $600 , her car payment of $300 and cable which only she uses and is $150. So for bills that affect us both, she really only pays $600 towards the house and the rest is all for her . She spends her money on BS like $300 lawn furniture even though we had a set! And demanded I reimbursed her for some of the total since its for the house. I've bought a washer and dryer even! She tells everyone she does it alone though and never helps me even though I RARELY ever ask since it's always an issue! I just want to take my next two checks, and flee to another state at this point. Any advice? |
Question: Older sister steals, drinks, and maybe smokes? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 11:12 AM PDT I found out that my older sister has been stealing makeup from stores, been drinking, and I think she's smoked before? I'm not sure but her friend was talking about it and I'm not positive that she has done it. She knows that I know about her stealing and drinking. My parents don't know and I feel like if I tell them, I'll lose the trust that my sister and I have. She's 17 while I'm 14.. She is old enough to make her own decisions .. so should I just let it be? I don't want to be the annoying sister that 'tattle-tales' on her. |
Question: Should I ask my dad for a PS4? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 11:12 AM PDT So I am visiting my dad in Arizona until Next Wednesday. My birthday is July 31, and I won t be here then since I m going home. I really would like a PS4 but I don t want to just ask him for one and make it seem like I m being selfish and stuff. How should I ask him? Thanks. |
Question: My dad passed away and I m trying to do things and I feel like he will think I don t care? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 10:59 AM PDT From watching tv, YouTube videos to cleaning. If I m not laying in bed crying or praying to god I feel like my dad is looking down on me thinking I don t care. My heart is extremely broken and I feel like me trying to get back into a routine will make him think I don t care. I m 16 by the way. What do I do |
Question: What are some crazy things your grandparents say or do? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 10:58 AM PDT If somebody is choking at the dinner table (usually my grandma), my grandpa will always say, "COUGH IT UP!!" and then chuckle, as if he said something very profound. |
Question: How do I spend more time with my father? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 10:45 AM PDT Hey, do you have any suggestions on how to spend more time with my father? Today I woke up crying from my dream of him telling us his doctor said he would only live two more years. The problem is that he was diagnosed with cancer and he doesn't have it anymore, but a lot of times it comes back. He works for almost all day, and I only get to see him for a minute when he comes home tired. He doesn't really like spending time with the whole family, because my mom has a tough time getting along with him. I really want to spend more time with him before he goes. Please help, and thank you :) |
Question: Should I be upset or just let it happen? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 10:41 AM PDT My brothers significantly new GF came in the picture 2 months ago. I was happy for him. He was happy. However, he s leaving shortly to go overseas for roughly 4 years. My brother and I are close and I look up to him a lot. He s got his whole life planned, happiness, and a great personality. The only thing making me upset is he s not spending any time with the family. His girlfriend is around all the time. Although she is kinda nice it s making me kinda uncomfortable. I don t know her well and I don t really want to. But my brother is "in love" he s raving and saying he s going to marry her. The other day we all were playing outside and she got mad. He of course went to her aid and stopped Hangin out with everyone. It s nice to see him happy, but I feel selfish for wanting to spend time with my family when it s obvious he only wants 24/7 with her. |
Question: Do you think my cousin will want to come over? I'll choose best answer.? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 10:38 AM PDT Well I know this is kind of a dumb question but I am waiting on her to call me back. OK so she's nine and I'm a few years older than her. We get along ok most of the time and I always do what she wants to do. But last time she came over to spend the night, she left and went with her mom and dad. But I also asked her a few months ago and she said yes, but she might have changed her mind:/ I reallllly want her to come and stay for a few nights. I think we would have a lot of fun. I mean I have been planning this for like a year, so I will be very disappointed if she doesn't.It is just now that she lives with her mom and dad, she is a little different. |
Question: I hate my older brother more than anything in this world. What do i do? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 10:30 AM PDT I really cannot stand my older brother he is such a mug. he always punched me or kicked me until i cried when i was little and one time he literally broke my collarbone. I eventually leaned to fight back but now he just breaks things i like. Whenever he tells on me my parents just believe him and punish me, but when he does something they dont know who to beleive and punish both of us. he always blasts music really loudly and sings which he sounds like a dying cow. When i tell him to not do it he turns it up louder and throws me into something. I tried doing it back to him so he takes my phone and throws it on the ground (which luckily didnt break) and goes in my room to destroy stuff. And the worst thing is is appetite. The fatass will do anything for food, including taking mine, leaving me with nothing to eat. And i cant tell on hime either because when i get mad i swear at him and hes an immature piece of crap? Please help i cant express how ashamed i am that hes my brother. Im 14 and hes 16 and were both boys. |

Question: My mom cheated on my dad and is making both of our lives miserable... Help? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 10:14 AM PDT Pretty much what happened was that my dad was suspicious of her cheating. He want on the computer on Facebook to see if she was messaging anyone on there; and sure enough, she was. She is talking to a guy who claimed he was a surgion in the military and pretty much they're talking about their life together. He even called me his daughter... She keeps saying she's going to stop talking to him but never does. She created a fake account on Facebook to talk to him so we can't find the messages. Anyways, we found a military form with the guys name and release date and she took it to the police and asked if it was real. They said it was a scam and he just wants our money. She is in denial and refuses to believe that. She sent this guy thousands of dollars and we have proof... We went to the bank and she said she put $1,200 in my savings account and she never did. But there was about $800 out of her savings. Her family owns a farm and that's where we live, we live on her family's farm and me and my dad are so lost. He hasn't left her because we'll have no where to go. She'll be like "well this is my family's farm, so you have to leave." Even though everyone in her family agree with us and think she's ****** up for doing this. Please just any advice at this point will help I've told her how I felt nearly in tears and she didn't say anything and it's only gotten worse just any advice you have for me and my dad I will take... |

Question: Needing a guys opinion? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 09:58 AM PDT I've known this boy for 3 years, we've been very good friends! He's always going out of his way to help me and to make sure I'm okay (after I got my vision back) He's been such a true friend! We recently started talking a lot after he graduated, he asked me to the movies yesterday (the conjuring) it was so fun! We were both scared, when I got there he had the ticket and food already bought and payed for!! which was sweet! He drove me home and wanted to meet my parents! He met mom and was very well mannered, he told her about his schooling, joining he military, was a good 10 minute talk! We took pictures, it was really fun. After that we both texted each other how much fun we had. He invited me to his graduation party also! I really like him! He's such a well rounded, we lol mannered guy and super handsome, I'm just questioning if he felt the same! Mom said she thinks he truly does, although I'm a bit overwhelmed with a lot so I can't tell. What do you think? We didn't text much today, he was busy with school as well as I but is that bad on my part for not texting him more? We're still just close friends |

Question: 10 POINTS!!!!!!HOW WOYLD YOU FEEL??? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 09:24 AM PDT if you were a girl (9-11y old) and your mother had divorced your father 3y ago how would you feel if your father gave you gifts but you think someone else have bought them?If his house were full of his friend drawings but they dont seem to have been made by a man?If he often speaks at the phone with a woman who asks your father how you're doing? Question: Why doesn't my mom see there are consequences for your actions? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 09:21 AM PDT Mom got a new boyfriend, I don't like him. My grandma and I think he is only in it for sex and to be a leech. I mean, he doesn't work and live with his parents. Mom only tolerates him because he was her high school bf. Second, I want to join the military to protect people. I want to be out there is the danger and give my life for my country. I've had this goal since I first learned about the military. This guy however says no, that the military are assholes. He tells mom to tell me no and my mom obeys. She then expects me to obey. Third, my mom wants me to help support the family financially. I'm cool with that, no prob. Thing is though that she wants her bf added to this. No. I will help him if he needs my assistance no matter how much I dislike him. That has always been my little code. To help others no matter how I feel about them. As long as it's the right thing. This guy wants my money so that he may just sit there and play call of duty all day. I already talked to my mom about this but she just says that I am overreacting. I even said that I was leaving if she refused to compromise with me, she started crying which made me stand down. She makes me feel bad when she cries so I always stand down. My mom just expects everything to be her way and expects no consequences. Just for me to fall in line. What do I do here? I was suggested family counseling to talk this out. Is this a good idea? I am 17, planning to go to college after military to study for veterinary work. |
Question: What to do when you're completely stuck in your house? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 09:04 AM PDT I am sţuċҡ in my grandmother's house because my dad has to work and my mom is unresponsive. I have no one else to call and no internet (on data ATM). Note, my grandmother is poor and her car is broken, and I don't know anyone in my neighborhood. What choices do I have? |
Question: Was This Guy Playing Me? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 08:40 AM PDT He's been nice to me, asked to send me study materials to help for my exam, caught him staring, texted me with random excuses(like did my grandma make it upstairs ok? like call your grandma lol) then asked to go out for sushi after my exam. HIs grandma and I live in the same apts and he comes here 3 days a week, a year ago I got impatient and called him out on beating around the bush and said a guy w/ a gf couldn't be interested in me, he said he was being friendly and has a gf he's happy with. But the secret stares and the coming around, started dressing nicely. Also before we got into a fight, He asked one day when giving me gym advice "dont you have a bf to teach you all this?"He asked one day when giving me gym advice "dont you have a bf to teach you all this?" HIs parents always stare at me. WHy would a guy do all this and freely say he has a gf but let go of her hand when I saw them together out |

Question: Is it fair for other siblings to get presents on YOUR birthday? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 08:29 AM PDT My siblings got big presents on my birthday and when I complained to my mum she got extremely angry and said she thinks its nice and im being egoistic..... in my opinion your birthday is your day and the other kids should learn to understand its nit about them 24 7...need opinions. Question: How can I keep my dying dog happy? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 08:22 AM PDT I've already been to the vet and there's nothing they can do. She's my first dog and I've had her since I was a baby. She just fell off the couch and hasn't been able to walk for a couple days. I managed to get her in two dog beds stacked on eachother with a fresh puppy pad and a towl that I wrapped around her. I gave her a peice of Ham but she wouldn't eat all of it and her water bowl is nearby. I gave her her favorite toy but she doesn't seem to recognize it. I can't stop crying and I don't know how that's affecting her. I don't know what else I can do. |
Question: Parents won't let me wear anything !? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 08:20 AM PDT my dad is a bipolar **** who comments on everything i wear and my mom goes along with everything my father says . I have shorts up too my knees and he yells at me because their too " short ". I have a nice body and for that reason I'm not allowed to wear sweatpants i'm 16 and I think its a bunch of bull crap I shouldn't have too look a certain way because men might look at me if i was a boy i would be pretty sure i can wear anything and it's unfair that I can't even look pretty without mean comments from my parents I don't dress inappropriate either i know what i should and shouldn't theirs so many girls that dress so much worst and my parents don't even realize they also don't let me wear any type of makeup |
Question: My dad punished me if my opinion differs from his - what to do? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 07:46 AM PDT I am 21, but rely on my parents for money since I'm in education and a part time job won't cover the costs of uni and living. My dad has given me a comfortable upbringing and you can say we are quite wealthy. The problem is that unless I am a perfect daughter who never argues, lets him have his way every time and do everything as he says he'll punish me or make me feel like ****. For example if I choose to wear something that he disliked (he hates boots without a heel) he will point out how awful they look the entire time I wear them or if I voice my opinion which differs from his he'll ridicule it multiple times after and bring it up any time I ask for money for something or help. I'm very polite to him, do anything he asks and generally pretend to have the same opinion as him. I'm a straight-A student, rarely drink, don't smoke. It makes me feel helpless and hugely lowers my self-confidence. What can I do? Moving out isn't an option because I have no funds to buy property and don't want to rent |
Question: How to get someone to stop chewing tobacco? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 07:34 AM PDT I have a brother who has chewed for many years, and he is very secretive about it. I am extremely worried about his health and we've tried to get him to stop but he is stubborn. I'm so scared for him. What do I do, we've tried everything. |
Question: Do you find that your parents always plan something important when you are busy? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 07:21 AM PDT I love my parents and all but sometimes I feel like they always plan something important when I have to do something. Like for example, when I have to go to my Thai kick boxing class that is when my dad starts working and he always needs my help for some reason. I even told him that I leave to the gym at 4:00 and at first he seems ok with me leaving but when I get home he starts ranting that he doesn't have sons to help him even though he has my other brother to help him when I'm gone. |

Question: Ok this is going to be a very long story so i am sorry but im scared for my girlfriend? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 07:16 AM PDT She was an accident when she was born and her dad left her but her mother has a boyfriend that nobody likes because he abuses my gf and it pains me becase i cant do anything about it. She used to cut until i came into her life and her friend told me that without realising it i made her stop cutting and made her day. I really care for her but her dad is a dick and takes control of everything in her life and sometimes will turn off the wifi so she will go to sleep and will actually pull down her pants if they are loose because he is a sick pervert. He used to and probably still does heroin and smokes. She once had to call 911 because he was going to kill her. Her mom is trying to kick him out but he wont get out and they are not married. I honestly do not know what to do. She is not exactly emo but existential and she is the one for me. Please any advice would be appreciated. I once stayed up all night just incase she needed help coping with her dad because he was abusing her again. Its summer right now and i had to move to another state for now because of a custody thing but i go back later. Please dont ignore this i need help im also young so keep that in mind |
Question: What can I do to stop my sister from stealing? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 06:58 AM PDT She takes all of my stuff like makeup and clothes. I've probably given her half of my makeup (or she stole it) and like 5 shirts. My parents don't do a thing about it because "she's young and doesn't know better" and when I talk to them they don't listen. |
Question: What should I do in 30 mins with my folks? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 06:51 AM PDT So we live in Lake Zurich and we go to camp in Buffalo Grove. My brothers get dropped off half an hour before I do and out camps are literally right next to each other. I'm sitting in the drop off line for half an hour waiting until I can go in. Big time waster. I want to do somthing with my parents or go somewhere that's short but fun but I don't know we're to go. Please give an answer so I'm not bored to death for 30 mins |
Question: Is it legitimate for me to be sad over this? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 06:43 AM PDT Today is my 18th birthday. We were a going to go out for breakfast because my dad had to leave for a camping trip today with my little brother. But when I woke up this morning, neither my dad nor my little brother had their stuff ready to go, so instead of going out to eat, I had to help get them ready to go. Whenever we have to hurry and do something, my parents always fight, which I hate. It feels like my dad and my brother didn't even care that we were going to do something special for my birthday today, and didn't bother to get any of their stuff together so they would be ready to go this morning. And now I won't be able to spend any time with my dad on my birthday. He never even said happy birthday to me. I'm afraid that by being upset by this though, I'm being a spoiled *****... I'm really disappointed that we didn't get to go out and that my dad's gonna be gone for my birthday. But is it okay for me to be upset? I don't want to be obnoxious..... |
Question: How can I get serious revenge on my little brother.? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 06:34 AM PDT Long story short, my little brother took all his stuff back when I was playing with them even though it wasn't bothering him as he was playing PlayStation. My mum and him are against me and I threatened to brake or take something that's his. If you're going to tell me to not get revenge then don't answer. I just need a straight answer of an idea for serious revenge on my 10 year old brother. Thanks. |

Question: Is my mom being overprotective? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 06:11 AM PDT She has always been protective of what I watch, eat, and do and I don't know if she is being protective or if she is being over protective. My mom only lets me watch some pg-13 movies and has my Netflix account set at kids. I'm 13 so I should be allowed to have a normal Netflix and be able to watch pg-13 movies. I asked her if I could go to target with my friend the other day , and she let me, but she followed around the entire store. It was so embarrassing. whenever I go anywhere (for example the pool which is 1 minute away from my house) she will drive over and check on me. I own a bikini and in front of my friends she will say stuff like you know I don't like that skimpy outfit. She didn't let me wear one until this year and made me wear one pieces. She doesn't let me do any fun stuff, for example we were supposed to go parasailing, but she cancelled because there is a chance we may get hurt. The company has been in business for 20 years and had no accidents before. Also she makes me go to bed at 9, and she says I can stay up as late as I want, but doesn't let me use my phone or computer. She also won't let me date until I'm 16. She also doesn't let me hang out with the any guys because she doesn't trust that I am just friends with him. She also goes through my phone and looks at my texts, snapchat chats, and her personal things like my Instagram. She also changed the tv settings so all I can watch is pg shows. It's driving me crazy + I just want to move out! What do I do? |
Question: Would you pull your daughters bra up if she fell asleep with her boobs out and if so why? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 05:43 AM PDT |
Question: Can someone younger then you be your step father? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 04:27 AM PDT its kinda weird but think about it if your mom remarreds they always say im your mom hes your step dad ok so say your 26 years old right and your mom is 51 right she remarried to a 23 year old so can he become your step dad unless by law you have to marry someone older then your son or daughter right or wrong? |
Question: Mom tries to stop me from seeing biological relatives? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 04:10 AM PDT I was adopted after my birth mom was killed. I was a young kid. My adoptive mom tried to act like she encouraged me to find my bio. family- and for the most part did. But, since I have gotten older she has started insulting me about seeing them. I am going to meet my grandmother to visit the grave and she mocked me saying dont think I will be taking you, hope you get in a wreck, etc (after I momentarily lost my glasses). She would also tell me my birth mom was ugly (cant remember what she looked like) and didnt care about me, was a bad person, etc. Is this normal? Why is she doing this? |
Posted: 16 Jun 2016 04:03 AM PDT My father died 4 years ago and I loved Father's Day when he was living because he hosted a big party for the father's in his family and my mother's family (the two families would get together). Now that he has died no one has hosted that and I just have an apartment and can't. My mother's side of the family does something but my mother refuses to go (partly because her husband and her Dad have both died) and so I feel really depressed not going. However, no one in her family asks me so I don't want to party crash and I have alluded the last three years that I miss the party. My Mom's siblings are formal and so I don't want to party crash. My Dad's siblings just do stuff with their own kids as they are older. So this makes me miss my Dad and also feel really sad that I am not with my mother's family. I told my mother to tell them I might want to join in but she declined due to a weird family thing she is sensitive to. I am hosting an out door event fourth of July weekend. So how do I get over this sadness on Sunday? It will be like any other day. I don't want to impose so I'd only go to the get together if I get invited and otherwise I just have a sadness that the old days are now over. How do I survive Father's Day Sunday? |
Question: Guys please help me I don't know what to do anymore? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 03:00 AM PDT It's about my younger brother (Max), so, our neighbors have a girl (Olivia), and ever since they were kids, they were together all the time, they were the best of friends, and by the time he was 15, they told their feelings to each other, they were both in love, so they started dating, Max loved Olivia more than anything, he treated her like a queen, he never did anything to hurt her, he did everything he could to make her as happy as possible, she was his whole life, both of them loved each other like nothing else, at some point of time he even told my mom that he wanted to marry her when they're older, he told my mom that she is the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with, they continued dating for 3 years, and about 2 months ago, Olivia died in a car accident, Max was heart broken, I never saw him like this before, for 3 weeks, 3 weeks, he never got out of his room, he never went to school, he was just there crying his heart out on his bed, he was devastated, we couldn't do anything about it, no one could make him feel better, one month ago, my best friend came to visit, she knew about what happened to Max, she went there to his room to try and make him feel better, she loved Max a lot and never gave up on trying to help him, somehow, she managed to do so, Max finally got out of his room. After almost 3 weeks, this was the first time he got out of his room. The next day he went to school, he wasn't ready, I told my parents but they forced him to go, his girlfriend's sister was in that school too, she stayed with him all the time because she knew he was still heart broken, anyway, one of the guys there always bullied Max, he saw him and went to bully him, Max told him to back off, and that guy told him "What? are you mad because your gf is a dead b*tch", Max lost it, he punched him and broke his nose. That guy was bleeding so bad they had to rush him to the hospital, Max got suspended for that, and now, it's happening again, he won't get out of his room, I can hear him cry at night, I remember the times when he used to tell her that she was his whole world, and now he lost her, I don't know what to do anymore, Max is still heart broken over what happened, what am I supposed to do?? I really want to help him but I can't, nothing I do works. My older brother is really no help at all, I mean he doesn't know how to deal with this situation, me and my mom have been trying to make him feel better but nothing works. I hate seeing my little brother like that, I hate seeing him look so weak and helpless, please help me what am I supposed to do, I just want my brother to be happy again. |
Question: What am I doing wrong? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 02:52 AM PDT I'm a 14 year old teen living a good life in a nice home. Good grades, having a nice group of friends never really getting into trouble. Ever since I moved from my first home over the years here I just feel sad, unhappy, and somewhat very hateful when I'm at home. Until the last two years I've been feeling more depressed and have the feeling that my parents hate me. My parents aren't the perfect couple but they still manage. My dad is always somewhat ignoring me whenever I try to talk to him, meanwhile talking to my little brother he is just the happiest man alive. He never really cares much of me but always has control over me, like he never lets me hang out with friends or go out to parks or anywhere really he just likes to keep us at home as he said "Our home is our vacation spot" which I hate. He's always saying that he is looking to find somewhere that we can go vacation but I know that's a lie. Whenever I try to bring up a matter for example I asked him if we could take one of my dogs to the vet Lecause he wasn't feeling well and then that's when he started to yell saying "You always say that and he'll be fine or if not we'll just put him down after all he's just another stupid animal you can just buy". Meanwhile my mom on the other hand she has bad hearing so that gives us some troubles as well but she always had a temper. She would always complain about doing all the house work and cooking and such and while we try to help or do something she snaps and starts yelling saying "I don't need your help I got this myself, you made a mess you always mess things up I do it better now go away". And over the smallest things like having a door open she would get angry and always blame me and would beat or yell at me while my brother just gets a warning. I honesty can't take this anymore I just want out. All I want to do is be free and happy but I guess that's asking for too much. I also honestly feel bad for my two dogs having to suffer living a life with my parents. |
Question: My sister drank, should I tell my parents? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 02:14 AM PDT So my sister was sleeping and I got ahold of her phone, then saw a text saying that she took shots and her eyes got watery. She went to a senior graduation party a little back, it was apparently filled with alcohol. When me and my mom picked her up, she didn't seem the least bit drunk at all. This was her first time drinking, and I never thought she would do this. She's my older sister, just turned 16. When she drank, she was 15. I am her younger brother and don't know what to do. help?!?! |

Question: My mom is messaging other men? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 01:38 AM PDT My mom and dad have been married for over 15 years now. My mom has recently been extremely protective over her phone and one day she left it on the table and I saw her notifications. Some guy has been texting her and calling her "Honey," "Babe," "Sweetheart," and more. The worst thing about it was that my mom was calling him the same things. It's not my dad. I've asked this same question before, and people told me to keep quiet about it, but I just can't. I don't look at my mom the same way anymore. She always asks me what's wrong but I just ignore her or change the subject. I don't smile as often anymore. My dad doesn't even know. I feel bad for him. Someone please help me. I don't know what to do. I'm only 13 years old and I don't want my parents to split apart. I love my family so much. I've been crying every single night because I can't believe that my mom would do such a thing to my father. And if anyone asks, no, the man she is messaging is not my mothers friend. They tell each other they love each other all the time. More often than when my mom tells my dad. |
