I personally don't but I've heard that term thrown around so much and I was wondering if anyone actually did. The only time I can think of is in elementary school where my best friend and I fought one minute and were friends the next but other than that I've never had that issue before, all of my friends are real friends and it seems like everyone in my school's friends are real friends as well. But does anyone really have a frienemie?

My family, my friends... People haven't respected my feelings. Well, they act as if I literally don't have feelings. I'll give you some examples: My sister treats me horribly. Yells at me.. And treats everyone else with kindness. Even my brother. She doesn't care for my feelings at all. My friends know I'm sensitive but tell me rude things anyway... They tease me... Do a bunch of stuff to try to make me upset. My other group of friends pretended to be my crush for a joke. They knew I was trying to forget about him and everything. People on Instagram call me ugly. My friend that's a guy rated me a 2/10 and everyone else a 7+/10 I'm tired, hurt, annoyed, and kinda just... Done w/ handling life. I'm so hurt. I'm not committing suicide but it would be such an easier way out. I have anxiety and they all give me a hard time for it... I'm self concious about my weight... I watch porn (I've been trying to stop) And I'm only 13 and a girl!!! I can't take it. Please, please help me. I'm so desparate I'm asking the internet here.

So I booked a cruise with a group of girlfriends the same week as my best friend s sisters wedding. I get back on the same day as the wedding so I was thinking of just stopping by with a gift after I land at the airport around 8:30pm. So first I got upset with my friend that I made about a year ago because I told her the day before my birthday that my birthday was the next day. Ive been going to a private school for the past 8 years and I'm going into my senior year in the fall. i haven't always hated it but in the past few years I've been absolutely miserable. I hate the way the school is run and then continuously put me down for my grades just because they aren't all A's. Ive always had my friends and that was the only thing keeping me there. But lately I've been having so many issues with friends that I've lost the friends that meant most to me. even my best friend. Im so miserable that i want to leave more than anything just to have a nice and normal senior year. Is it a horrible idea to leave now?? is it too late??

These two girls, let s call them A and B have been assholes to me althoughout middle school. For starters, they were my two really close friends in 6th grade. Then in the middle of 6th grade they completely turned on me and made a group chat with a ton of hate towards me and invited more people in. I am currently in Los Angeles for 3 days to visit my uncle who has lung cancer. I didn't see him for 7 years because of family issues. I am in a group of four friends, but I'm only super close with two of them. The fourth friend, I'll refer to as J. J and my two other friends met in middle school. We've known each other for quite some time. I thought we were all good friends, but one day I found out J was talking about me behind my back with my best friend, who told me about it after because she didnt want to make conflict or hurt my feelings. I found out that the only reason that they became friends with her was because of me and they didn't really like her. Lately I have had a huge intrests in activities. School play church things but I auditon and they ask for my parents email so of course I give it but then my parents don't tell me about the upcoming events or they do tell me when I'm very busy. I missed everything in the school play as a crew member except the last 2 meetings because everything was sent via email and nobody told me. Today I was soposed to go to volunteer training and as usual missed that because my parents as I was aware never told me. My friend keeps ignoring me and reading my texts and snapchats. All i do is show her i care for her and want her to be happy as a friend should, but she never shows the same for me. Basically, this started last month, when i was sick for school 1 day. That day, he told everyone I was suspended. I asked him about it, and he said he didn't do it. I trusted him and so, i went on with life. That Friday, i was going to watch a movie with him and a bunch of my other friends. However, what i did not know was that he already made plans to watch it with some of our friends. Almost EVERYONE but me was invited. So, I asked him if he wanted to watch with me, cuz hes been one of my best friends since first grade. I'm in eight grade now. He said he was watching it with family, and since he watches a lot of movies with his family, I figured it wasn't anything suspicious. However, when I asked someone else, they said they were already watching it with my friend. So, then ob the bus, we were talking about basketball, and I found out that they were playing basketball at my neighborhood park. Every Friday, I go to practice my shooting, and I ran into them there. When he saw me, he glared at me. I ignored it. Everyone (except that one person) invited me to come and play with them, so I joined. Halfway through the game, I realized that he didnt pass the ball to me, or even tell me the plays. But, since i had some experience, i was able to read them, and someway or the other, I managed. I got the ball like 10 times in the first hour, and 8 of them were through rebounds. So, I started playing isolation, and he easily picked up on this and tried to sabotage my plays by 'accidentally' swatting the ball. When this happened. I just shot a long three point jump shot, and since i'm way taller than my defender, and him, i swished it, couple times in a row. Then, he got even more furious, and he tried really hard to injure me, and he succeeded. I ended with a broken finger, and he came out with a smile. After 1/2 hour more of this, I left. The next day, I texted him about it, and he said that I wasn't invited cuz I a) wasn't cool, and b) lied a lot and got mad a lot. This didn't make sense to me, because these never really happened, and they were really small things. From that day onwards, he ignored me, unless he needed a ride, or answers to a test, or help with homework. I figured he was using me, but I just helped him regardless. He didn't even thank me. Then, he started leaving/ignoring all of the group chats that I was in, and he created a new one to talk trash about me and some of the other people who were't invited to the movie. I talked to another one of my friends, only to hear that he wouldn't stop destroying my reputation. And since rumors spread, I looked terrible in front of my friends. So, I gave him some time alone, as one of my friends told me to do. About 1 week ago, we made plans to play football, and so i asked someone to ask him if it was still on, and he said it was, but said not to tell me that. When my friend argued that no one else hated me, he got mad and texted me that i wasn't invited to it. Regardless, a lot of my friends were cool if I came, so I went. We weren't on the same team, and i'm more athletic than him, so i made sure he got 0 catches, and burned him every time he guarded me. Then, the gossiping about me started again, and so I sent him an email apologizing for me lying and getting mad, just to please him. He read it, as i put John@doe.com.readnotify.com, and hasn't talked to me other than for using me. He, still never invites me to stuff. He was one of my best friends for 7 to 8 years, so I would want to keep ending the friendship as a last resort. Moreover, we carpool to school, for at least the next 4 years. Please help! I have a history of mental illness over the past few years (I'm 19) - It's anorexia, depression and the list goes on.. Over these years I have never been able to trust a friend but I met this girl at work about a year ago and somehow I trusted her from the first day. I can tell her everything and she is by far the best friend I have had. Around 1-2 months ago. I started feeling something more than friendship from my half.. I think I like her. I think about her constantly. I am obsessed with her.. And she is talking to this boy now and it makes me so depressed I am losing my mind. I have been having suicidal thoughts lately because I just can't handle this.. But the thing is that I am straight.. I have been with boys and been in love with one.. She is the only girl that I think about this way. I don't notice other girls.. Just her. I know that she has been in a real relationship with a girl but she has also been with plenty of boys and married one (divorced now And the thing is that I have no idea if she feel the same way.. I think she doesn't but still she is always touching me - something she doesn't do so much to others.. It's not serious just grabbing my hand, hugging me, rubbing my shoulders.. etc.. Okay so all my life I have gone to a preppy rich kid school and have loved it, gotten along with everyone, and I don't like to say this but for the purpose of this question I will, become pretty popular. The only problem is everyone seems to think I'm rich for some reason. I don't know why. Maybe it is because I have a lot of friends, I travel a fair amount, or I invest in good quality clothes, I'm not really sure why but everyone thinks I am and thats not true AT ALL. Although people thinking I'm"rich" did help me a little at my school now, it would TOTALLY help me at my new school socially but I'm afraid people will realize that I'm not and hate me. I have a friend whos with someone who isnt good for her and im always there for her but she's changed. And I said no then she said 'you probably got it from an expensive shop didn't you because you are obsessed with expensive clothes' sarcastically - she makes fun of me and then looks at boys to gain approval for making me feel humiliated - sometimes when I try talking to her she pretends not to hear me and she looks away - whenever she is waiting for me to do something or get something out my locker she says 'honestly hurry up will you!' - when I ask her why she treats me like dirty and says these things to me she says 'relax its just banter' - she tells me all the negative things other people have been saying about me behind my back Is there such thing as bullying disguised as banter??

Two of my female friends seem to be hard on themselves and have low self-esteems. I want them to see how special they are. Should I tell them? Should I write them a letter on why I love being around them? Girls would you appreciate if a friend did this for you?

I was forced by my own protection of safety to block my best friend of three years. I couldn't take it knowing she had been manipulated by a sexual predator online. I was originally friends with the man whom looked like in his 40's or 50's. He then found me on Facebook and I realise something wasn't right. He commented on every post I put up in order to gain my trust. My friend was also groomed by this experience and she believes in him although she has a boyfriend that became distant lately. When another guy around my age talked to me, the predator became threatened and thats when my friend from high school became alerted for my welfare. He wanted nothing more than to block the man and when I stopped talking, the predator started using my best friend to get to me. She believed he was innocent so I became unsafe to social media, spoken to my counsellor and child protection. They cannot do much because of how we are almost 18. I started to notice my best friend was no longer a friend anymore and I really didn't want to block her but my child protection worker told me to so I wouldn't get harassed from this man so I did. His guilt tripping is frightening and his temper can get startled easily. I just don't understand why my ex best friend didn't notice this behaviour even though my friend successfully helped me from becoming a victim and even tried to talk to her about it. Also forgot to mention my ex bff has no parents at all and is in care of child protection. What do I do

So today I hosted a birthday party for my 18th. We played paintball and it was good fun and I think everyone enjoyed it. I invited 6 other people who range from very close to good friends. Out off all the people only 2 people brought gifts (although 1 had already given me one). Is this normal? Keep in mind I paid $80 dollars each for the party plus food and drinks ect. Maybe I'm just silly to actually expect gifts or Am I right to assume that it was just plain rude not to?

I'm 29 and I had sex with a 42 year old almost year ago. He and I live in different states (but we are not in a long distance relationship). I wanted to see him again while I was in his state three weeks ago. I sent him a text letting him know I was in town and he asked me for the address. I told him I would contact him once I got to the hotel. My kid brother and I went to the park and I saw the guy there. I didn't go there looking for him we just so happened to be there at the same time. We walked passed each other but didn't speak but we did look at each other. When I got to the hotel I texted him asking him to come see me. He then told me he had left time temporarily but that he would be back the next day. I told him that I knew he had saw me at the park and that he was lying. He said he did see me at the park but that he had left town and would be back the next day. (He does work a lot travelling from time to time.) He told me before I came to see him that he might not be able to meet me. That he's having some financial issues. When he told me he had left town I went off on him and said some bad things to him. That's when he started calling and texting me telling me to answer the phone. I didn't answer and just ignored his calls completely. The next night I got drunk and continued to go off on him and again he told me to call him but I didn't. He was wrong for lying and I was wrong for going off on him. I just wish I would have got to see him while I was there.

I have a situation. I get sun rashes, when i go into the sun for too long. My best friend, (Person A) supposedly told her friend (Person B) that i have been lying about getting sun rash, this whole time. Then, Person B left her house, and went and hung out with a group of people. My other best friend (Person C) was in that group. Person C told me that they were talking about drama, and Person B told the group about what Person A said about me. Person C told me everything about it. She NEVER lies to me, and always tells me the truth. So, i texted A and B and asked if what went on was true, along with a picture of my heat rash. Person A response- "OMG that looks painful! And i believed you before" Person B- "No she believed you, but did (Person C) tell you that?" I didn't respond to either because i didn't know what to say. But, i couldn't tell if A and B were lying, or if C made it up. In the texts they sent me, i could tell that Person B told them something about it because she added "did Person C tell you that" I am really confused. Help?

when I used to be in High school I wasn't cool, I was normally known as a loser. soo its been 3 years since I graduated, And im trying to meet girls......but im kinda scared because I wasn't popular in high school and im scared ill be rejected?? I feel like people will find out I was a loser. im really good looking and very fit. Any advice???

I know my way around a computer pretty well and I can get myself access to someone who used to be a close friend of mine's email. I'd have to reset the password which is why I don't know if I should do it... I don't want to send any emails or anything, I just want to look. I'm just curious. But I feel pretty slimy thinking of doing it and I don't want them to know their email was hacked with a new password...
