There was this lady on my job. She constantly stared at me and gave me flirtatious looks all the while she was in a relationship. Of course I knew it, but didn t care at the time. One day, I offered to take her out since she would be leaving the job we worked on. She immediately offered that she was taking her boyfriend somewhere. Next thing I know, shortly after leaving the job, she became engaged and two days later married her bf. She did buy me a nice gift for my birthday though. Why would she do this to me?

Hi! I was asked my my best friend to be his best man. I was honored to do so as he's been my friend for most of my life. I spent a long time writing an extra special best man speech that would be remembered. Well I've combined many funny things about my friend and his wife in the speech with some more emotional and heart felt stuff as well. Every time I read it though, I become pretty emotional and cry a bit. I'm a sensitive guy but something about this hits my soft side. My friend had suffered from extreme depression and it just makes me feel really proud of how far he's come from then. I obviously don't talk about his depression in it but I just tell him how proud I am to see how much he's achieved and how much our friendship means to me. I'm afraid I'll start crying when reading this and I'm terrified of being really emotional in front of all these people. How can I control myself from losing it? Has anyone cried during something like this? Should I try not to show these emotions? Thanks so much for any help, I need advice!
