Question: Is my boyfriend trying to take away my self-esteem on purpose? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 03:03 PM PDT He has been controlling in the past (tries to give me a curfew, I shouldn't wear short clothes, not have guys I don't know on Facebook as friends, gets jealous etc, but that's a different subject) ... we have cultural differences. He's Egyptian, I'm English. I'm 6 years younger than him (22). I was thinking things would improve... but he jokingly (Very out of character, he usually compliments me a lot) called me fat in a message when I told him that I was working out the other day (He said: Make sure you lose all that fat, okay?). I was really defensive because I am 5'5 and I'm about 116 pounds! I am not big AT ALL, and I don't think it is a nice thing to say anyway, nobody should pick on someone's weight. PLUS he said I was the 'heaviest girl he has been with' which isn't true, because his ex who is 10 years older than me was honestly much bigger than me, not in a bad way, but why would he say that if it isn't true? So I mentioned his ex (which probably wasn't the right thing to do, I admit that) and he mentioned the fact my boobs look bigger in pictures when they aren't actually? I broke up with him but he won't leave me alone, persistently messaging me and begging for me back, telling me it is a 'joke' and the boob comment was a 'misunderstanding'. Why do you think he said this? :( |

Question: If your wife had facial hair problems, what would you do in this situation? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 02:15 PM PDT I started having facial hair at 13 and got worse and worse as time went by. I did IPL hair removal for almost two years (it's similar to laser for permanent hair removal, you go every month but I had no success with it. This was when I started college so I didn't even know my husband then. My parents paid for it. Later on I got laser every month for a year with absolutely no success either. My husband of 10 years did not have a dime in it. I have to pluck or wax my chin every day and I am very unhappy with this. I have a lot of black hair, not just a little bit. I have PCOS. I told my husband I would like to try electrolysis hair removal but his reaction surprised me. He said "only if it doesn't cost thousands of dollars". For the past 17 years, I've been suffering from this problem and I would pay whatever amount to get rid of this. I have a job too so why would it bother my husband to spend on something that would help me? I am very frugal so it's not like I spend on myself. It really hurt my feelings how he didn't understand how much of a big deal this is for me. Almost everyday I spend a whole hour removing hair from my face and it keeps on growing. I feel like I have to live with this forever but I would like to give this other hair removal method a chance. |
Question: Help! An elder messed up on a mission and are my parents being difficult? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 01:51 PM PDT So I am a missionary for the LDS, I served as an elder in the Denver Colorado Stake and after about six months I began to get lonely anyway my companion and I had a dinner with a family who was interested, the daughter who was our age and I began to flirt, my companion went to the restroom while we started to talk and we kissed, my companion told the stake president and I was kicked out of the mission and now all my family is angry at me. Any way the daughter is going to BYU in provo for Fall semester but my parents are forbidding me from seeing the girl who ruined my mission and said they'd cut me off financially I saw her. |
Question: Why do single mothers deny the fact that they are the scum of the earth? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 01:46 PM PDT I myself was raised by a single mother and I turned out to be a miserable failure in life. I'm 23 years old, never had a job before, am morbidly obsessed, no education or skills, no money and living in poverty. I don't have any friends or had a girlfriend before. single mothers realize that they are scum right? jenwales-sorry thats obessed not obsessed lol. i am a fatty. |
Question: Why doesn't my dance teammate's mom like me? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 01:07 PM PDT On my dance team, there was this girl that is ALWAYS super friendly towards me. Her mom is a different story. For some reason, she just seems to dislike me. For example, at our recital, in our dressing room, my teammate and her mom were looking for lipstick to borrow because they couldn't find their's. I offered mine. Her mom looked at me with narrowed eyes and asked if I had used it. I said that I had and she said that she didn't want it, which I understood. Then, my friend offered the girl's mom her lipstick, which she had used AND let some other people borrow. But she took it anyway, so it felt like her mom was against just me for some reason. Her mom is also always giving me looks, but she looks kindly at the other girls. Even my mom thinks she's a snotty person! Why does she hate me so much? I don't know what I did, but if I did something, she should tell me and my mom, not give me dirty looks. @jasmine - I can't, the season is over and, even if I did ask, she would wonder what I was talking about, then defend herself and her mom, because she's the type of person that's really defensive. |
Question: Glad I chose to follow my moral principles, but why does he still call me "Honey"? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 01:02 PM PDT I am monogamous by nature. My fiancé wanted us to try swinging and tried to push it on me three times since 2014 but each time I declined (I have my reasons...among them that I was raped anally years ago). About a week ago, he said that the light has "gone OUT" as far as him no longer being attracted to me; however, as just platonic friends, we are getting along fabulously and things are so much more relaxed. Even our 3-year-old son senses this and has been much happier, too. I have nothing against swingers (we are platonic friends with some in real life), but this lifestyle is something that I cannot do. I considered doing soft swap but the thought of me swapping body fluids in any fashion with anyone else besides my fiancé made me literally vomit. My fiancé finally understands but we also realize that we are sexually incompatible. But we are happier as bosom platonic friends. All my best to everyone. |
Question: My parents are LDS and they force me to go to church? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 12:24 PM PDT Whenever I say anything about how boring it is, why I have to go, or why I don't want to go they get mad at me, is it right for me to be forced to go when I don't want to. I don't really like the church and I'm not a strong believer in it but I have no choice or say in whether I get to go or not. It has really gotten old and I'm sick of the church. |
Question: Sister in law a selfish *****.? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 11:36 AM PDT So basically 9 years old she met a high school student when she was 24. Got knocked up and moved his *** in. He was and still is such a dick. Hit my wife after the sister in law ran into our room with child and my wife went to protect her, basically five minutes afterwards cries back to him while he s in jail. Moves him back into our house without asking. Steals our checks and cashes them and basically tells my wife don t turn him in or don t talk to me our my son again. Always disrespectful to my wife and she would always take his side. Finally moved thier asses out. He s basically a loser who makes people that doesn t know him feel bad, liarliar, thief, etc. ******* narcopath. Cheats on her constantly. In and out of jailed constantly, keeps calling her and she falls for it. Basically only ever lived together four years total maybe. She s back living with us for two almost three years already. Every year we have to ask her not to let him in our house. She didn t want anything to do with him then boom he had a gf and she ran crying to him. So this year she basically took him up to the in-laws house without asking anyone cause even though they aren t together he s still family. Talked **** about me on Facebook thinking I m upset cause they hangout, no bish I m upset cause you have no respect for your sister after we housed you rent and utilities free. So am I wrong for saying she s dead to me and I want her to pay ******* bills. |
Question: If a girl does theses kind of stuff does it mean she doesn't like me or something? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 11:33 AM PDT I was walking at the hallway with my friend and i saw the girl I liked there & I was looking at her but then I looked away. Later when we pass by again at the hallway I turn around to look at her but she hide behind her friend. When she came to class I was looking at her & she caught me so I just looked away. Then later she went over to talk to her friend & I was looking at her but then I stop. So then when I turn around I saw her at the back of the class and was looking at me |

Posted: 05 Jun 2016 10:04 AM PDT I am 29 years old and I don't drive. I have been in multiple car accidents with two family members and a friend. I'm terrified to drive. So, last night my date kept asking me if I drive. Like three times. I told him not very often so I take the train. He asks again later on. I told him I had a car etc. I was too embarrassed to come out and say that I don't know how to drive because of my age. I haven't heard from him today, so I don't know if it's a deal breaker. I feel bad for not being truthful. Now I wish I would have just told him. |
Question: Does she has rebound or she like other guy? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 09:55 AM PDT I like this girl for months, At first, I ask for her number we had one coffee meeting up but then she was busy. She plays hard to get, and I feel a bit tired. (she admitted if guy likes her, he will chase a lot because maybe she read too many romantic novels). I ask her out some times, but she makes some excuses. I was scared to become needy so just only contact her enough. She stares me a lot during some classes ( She still replies my texts slowly but consistently as she replies 1 to 2 day after my text was sent). The point is she makes lots of excuses not to hang out. Recently, I hanged out with her again, (around April) and she agreed to go for a lunch. After that, she admitted she is seeing other guys around March in a friend's party. (She lose interest maybe because I do not make a move). She thought he is her new boyfriend, but after a while then tell me she is interested in him but said he is not her boyfriend yet. She said she thought I was friend because we just had one 2 meets. After that day, I stop contacting her for more than 4 weeks Does she has rebound? Will she come back? I do not know why she still stares me sometimes after last meet because I still have some class with her so it is very awkward |
Question: My mother in law is always at our house, how do I tell her to stop coming? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 08:50 AM PDT He always annoys me with his stupid jokes and leaving the house a mess. Even if I clean as soon as he comes home it's dirty. The kids are cleaner than him! He can never do anything right. We have 4 young kids and I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl last week. I'm biracial and he's a typical white man. We are moving in a month because of my husbands job so it's a lot to handle for me and the kids to handle. They have a new sibling to get used to and my oldest son will start a new school. He's an only child and very close to his parents. They come over very often. I don't like his mother because she makes snide remarks about everything. They are great grand parents to the kids but I would rather my husband takes the kids and visits instead of her always coming here. I tell him we need some space but he just shrugs it off. She's coming even more often since we're moving 4 hours away. This past week she has come every single day saying she will miss the kids too much. Today Would have been a perfect day for her to stay away but she's down stair making dinner. The older boys are sleeping over at their cousins so it would have been perfect with some alone time with my husband in the evening. I tell him I need some rest. And she even picks up the baby when she's sleeping. It's so annoying and my husband is so useless, what do I do? |
Question: Bonzetta byrd copiague? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 08:21 AM PDT |
Posted: 05 Jun 2016 07:21 AM PDT My daughter recently moved back from out of state, with a 2 year old boy and 8 year girl. She lived here till the girl was 4, moved away now back 4 years later, I have always been close with the girl. Daughter has allowed me to have the girl a few times month, I have been asked to watch the boy a few times and have never turned her down, watched him when she went to Vegas for 4 days, they called me out of work to watch him so they could work, I lost money. I work 40+hours a week. I enjoy the older child as she is not a baby anymore, we can go places and do things that I can't take a baby too. I stop by every week to see the boy so he can get to know me, I told my granddaughter it won't be long before he will want to come to. My daughter text me that the kids are a package deal, meaning I have to take both of them, that it is hard on them whenI only take one. ? And that next weekend they are going out and I can have them or they will just get a babysitter. Up to this point I did not think I was being unfair to the children. I had only been working my way up to the boy wanting to come with me, so far he doesn't. I want to keep them both every now and then but not all the time, babies require way more attention than an older child, and I'm tired after working all week. I have ask my daughter to talk about this, but she hasn't texted back. I don't want to say the wrong thing in fear that she won't let me see the kids at all. Any constructive suggestions are most welcome. |

Question: My favorite teacher is leaving, having a hard time handling it? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 02:21 AM PDT Needing to vent! Need advice? My favorite teacher (Mr.T) is moving this summer. Long story short, freshman year I got into a basketball injury & went blind for a year. (I gained my vision back last year) he would come to my house everyday & help teach me geography while I was blind, he helped me pass the whole year! While blind! He's been with me through thick/thin, we're extremely close. Yesterday was the last day of school, he told me he was moving, which really upset me bc he won't be here to see me graduate. He told me how proud he was of me, how much I meant to him and that I'm his favorite student, how I'd go really far etc.. He took a picture with me & gave me the biggest hug ever, I wanted to cry. I want to send him a graduation invitation next but there really is no way I can contact him sadly. It's just so upsetting because he's so important in my life, I want him to see me graduate but I don't know how i will be able to see or talk to him again. I emailed hi school email today hoping he will answer before taking leave but I don't know if he will see it. I'm a bit upset about it, Any advice? Will I ever get in contact with him? |

Question: I need professional help? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 01:06 AM PDT My parents recently got divorced and my mother signed off her rights but she's still getting rights, for example I want to go to Alaska to visit my friends and stay at my friends house and my mom lives over there to, the court says that I she to stay with her when I visit if I wanna go and my dad has to tell my mom where he takes us. That's not fair, she gave up on her kids and signed off the rights so she won't pay child support and she uses drugs, like BAD drugs like cocane and the stupid thing is that her lawyer knows she does! Is there anyway for me to sign a paper were my mom has 0000000 rights. I don't want her as a mother she's not fit to be one I trusted her and thought she was but she messed up to many times and I want to move on and be happy in my life knowing that she has 0 rights I don't want to keep contacts with my mother anymore, TBH she kinda scares me since she's also tried killing herself I know this sounds fake but trust me I need help please leave suggestion that will help me!!! |
Question: My boyfriend can t handle stress? Or am I over reacting? Posted: 05 Jun 2016 12:28 AM PDT My boyfriend and I just recently got into a fight at a restaurant and long story short I called him and talked but shortly after he put the phone in his pocket without telling me and i only found out by talking still but seeing he is not on the phone.I gave him the silent treatment until we got home, and before we entered the house I asked him why he thought it was okay to do that? (At this point I am yelling at him) then he starts becoming really stressed and saying I m not on his wavelength and I ask him to answer my question and why he thinks it s okay to put the cel phone in his pocket while I was talking? And he takes off his seatbelt and lays down on the ground. When he does this I m thinking what in the world is he doing? I get even more mad and tel him to get up and stop laying in the middle of the road. He tells me that it would be better if a car runs over him. Then he starts to bang his head on the window after I forced him to get up. I told him to look me in the eyes and when he did, he looked like a little kid getting scolded but when I talked his eyes turned empty. Then I felt something was off because he never acts like this and he would never fake any emotion or anything, so I switch and try to calm him down because he seemed not able to function anymore. I just wanted to know why is he acting this way? He does not have any health concerns except a sprained foot, and he is not the type to act or do things like this. Can someone tell me what is going on? |
Question: How To Get To Know This Girl? Posted: 04 Jun 2016 11:05 PM PDT I saw this cute girl working at walmart when I was cashing my check. I think she's really beautiful and I'm not sure how to get to know her or ask for her number. I don't wanna scare her away by approaching her the wrong way. What can I do to get her to talk to me? I am going to take a second shot at this because I didn't really get the answer I was looking for. So here's my story. I met this girl while I was cashing my check. She works at Walmart. She is really beautiful and something about her attracts me to her. I have seen her three times in the last two months all of which were me cashing my check on a Friday. I really want to get to know her and do it the right way. However, I don't wanna just go up to her and shoot a compliment out of a cannon. |

Question: What do you think about two 17 year olds going on vacation? Posted: 04 Jun 2016 09:50 PM PDT Both my friend and I are 17 years old. We would both like to go to beach (without parents) for a couple days (Thursday-Sunday maybe even just Friday-Sunday). The beach is about 3 1/2- 4 hours away, we d stay in a hotel, and we d also drive down. The whole reason for wanting to take this trip is to have fun and just to get away for a bit -not so we re able to do things we shouldn't. Thanks for your input in advance. |
Question: Help! My husband keeps calling out from work!? Posted: 04 Jun 2016 09:24 PM PDT My husband had three days a month of FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act). He gets this because the doctor has diagnosed him with severe allergies. My concern is he uses these 3 days at the beginning of the month every month. Calling out for an Allergy attack. Now I did not grow up around people with severe allergies, but I do work in healthcare and I do not see any of the major symptoms that accompany an allergy attack. Ie swollen hands, feet, face, red eyes, runny nose, blotchy skin, sore throat, Ect. When he calls out to stay home he s usually just playing games, watching videos things like that. He tells me that if he s feeling at all allergetic at the beginning of the day he knows he s going to have a bad day so he calles out. I have tried addressing my concern with this before and he guilts me with "You re my wife, and even you don t believe me" I know his bosses are frustrated with the pattern of when he calles out but because he uses his FMLA there is nothing they can do except get angry which they do. This makes work stressful for him having his bosses angry. Any ideas on how to address this situation? |
Posted: 04 Jun 2016 09:20 PM PDT Seriously.. I'm in my 40's and will never understand how people can cheat and feel ok about it and live with it without telling the person they claim (at least) that they love. People think it's ok? WTF? How is it ever possibly ok. It just make sense. How can one justify this as fine to do and live with themselves? Can you really just go and f*** someone else and come home to your "partner" (who you obviously don't ACTUALLY love) and kids and feel fine? *It just make sense. = It just doesn't make sense to me. You? |
Question: Should I tell my soccer coach how much he means to me? Posted: 04 Jun 2016 09:07 PM PDT I have been playing soccer for a year now, and I really love it! My coach has been amazingly helpful and understanding since day one, and I'd like him to know how grateful I am to have met him. I am pretty shy, so I'm not sure how to go about this. I've had some pretty terrible coaches in the other sports I play, but this coach is really the best I've ever had. I took about three months off soccer to play basketball for my school, and the coach there was one of the truly awful ones. I quit the school team and started soccer again because of that, and my soccer coach knows about that. I really am just looking for a way to tell him how much of an impact he's made on my life, both by introducing me to soccer and by being so patient and kind through the past year. Any help is greatly appreciated, trollers will be laughed at. |
Question: My ex has already moved on? Posted: 04 Jun 2016 08:45 PM PDT So I found out I was pregnant from a fling I had before I got with my girlfriend (now ex) we argued and broke up about it. She said it was just temporary until she came to terms with it. We spoke every single day for two months, me hoping she would finally tell me she wanted to be with me again. But today, on facebook, I found out she had just started a new relationship. I asked her about it and she said this "I'm really sorry, but our relationship wouldn't have worked. we're too far apart and there's no way I can keep travelling to see you. I didn't intentionally look for a new relationship, it just happened. you should find someone new, someone close enough to be with you all the time and someone good enough to look after your baby, im sorry it can't be me" I'm really heartbroken and I could've been the one to fly over and see her. I love her so much, do you think she's moved on too fast? how do I get her back? |

We were together for over a year.We have both said some pretty mean things to eachother. We argue, then make up, then its back to arguing about something etc He blocked my number for a week last week because he claims I was arguing with him which I wasn't.A few days ago he unblocked my number and unblocked me on Facebook.Today we seen each other(he lives out of town) and he got mad because I was honest with him.I told him that I had slept with someone else because me and him are not together. But he asked so I told him the truth..I'm pretty sure he slept with someone too but he won't admit it.He posted a box of condoms on Facebook but claim they were his "cousins".He said why would I do that if I love him so much and I told him I figured he didn't give a damn about me and plus I'm single.Me and my ex have been having sex every time we see each other.Today after he left I said, "Bye friend".Then he replied, "I'm not your friend, I'm your man".Im confused because he kept telling me to get over all the bs that happened between us and told me to move on when we broke up.I was the one who broke up with him because he cheated on me early in our relationship.I'm confused because why is he being jealous when we haven't been in a relationship for two months? He comments on females pics often so I figured he is interested in them not me.I still love him and he says he still loves me.What should I do? |
Posted: 04 Jun 2016 06:44 PM PDT For example, my old roommate where I lived for just over a month *it was that bad* 3 months ago, her son murdered this guy and shot his daughter s mom *his ex* recently. I ran into this guy I have known for years, but haven t seen in a while on Tuesday. We hung out on Wednesday, and I found out he was shot and in the hospital. Like wut the hell? I feel so bad. Like I know I am not responsible, but wtf? Also my first bf committed suicide 9 years ago when I was 16. So being spiritual, I am looking at it as either: screw everyone you knew and change your whole life, or a lesson telling me: hey what happened with your ex wasn t your fault *cause I felt guilty for sooo long after, or : basically you somehow make people get hurt or die or whatever. Lol. Even though I really don t say or do anything to provoke them to hurt someone. I actually am very against violence of any kind. Honestly, being spiritual I am thinking that it is a sign telling me these things aren t my fault that happened. Cause after my first bf died, my *not all there* stepdad was doing weird things telling me my ex was communicating with me through lights and stuff. Never having my dad really, he is the one person I was extremely vulnerable with since 13, but only recently have I realized that we don t even really have a relationship at all. |

Posted: 04 Jun 2016 05:53 PM PDT It seems plenty of people have a nickname and I kinda want one. A unique but not too unique nickname that represents someone who is clever, kind, sometimes too over protective/nervous, tough with a soft side and a leader. That also represents having luck, starting with L. Thanks! |
Question: How to make my mom see what she is capable of? Posted: 04 Jun 2016 05:38 PM PDT My mom is 41, and i love her SO much. But we have always been living in the country where there are alot of stupid selfish ''rednecks'' (well not THAT much country ;)) And my father, and her ex boyfriend, from along time ago, was verry abusive and was just terrible to her. And the boyfriends she has had after him, are mostly just boring annoying people, who drink alot. How can i make her see a whole new world, where there are so many great people to meet? Any answers are appreciated :) |
