Question: Why does my husband seems to go through phases? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 09:31 PM PDT Why does my husband seems to go through phases? One day he's all over me and loving and very affectionate. And then it all stops! It's like thought of me has suddenly disappeared. I try to tell him, but he never does anything to notice it. It's been happening for a while now. And it makes me sad to be pushed away. |
Question: My wife is leaving me. How do I change her mind? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 09:13 PM PDT My wife is 45. I am 54. We have been married for the last 25 years, and have raised 3 children. Our youngest is going to GT this coming year. About 10 years ago, I had a one night stand. I felt awful about it. The woman was 19, I was 44. She wanted to do it again, I said no, so she told my wife. My wife acted surprisingly calm about it, and told me it was okay and that she forgave me. I guess I was a stupid *** for thinking she moved on. About a week ago, my wife sat me down nicely and told me she had been dating this guy for the past 8 years, and that now that our kids are grown up, she doesn't have to worry about a custody battle. She told me she was going to get a divorce, and that economically, she had the upper-hand. I still love her. I'm shocked. I thought she forgave me. I don't know what to do |

Posted: 19 Jun 2016 08:50 PM PDT What is your opinion on women who are married to a man for years, has children with him then turns lesbian and they divorce and she expects her new lesbian partner to help raise her kids, financially help her with them and be friends with her ex husband. Is this woman slightly narcissistic, selfish in anyway, or normal? Who is she hurting here? |
Question: Restraining order "built" into mother s divorce decree? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 08:48 PM PDT At the time of my mother s divorce, she was married to a terribly abusive man who I called my step dad. He was abusive to me even after I was no longer a minor (i am 21 now). They got divorced when I was 16. This man just recently slowed down certain behaviors. I told him last month that I was going to call the law on him if he continued. However, I was told today that In my mom s divorce decree there was a "built in" restraining order of a certain number of feet. Does that mean that though I am 21,there is still a restraining order in place? Also, what would it take to get a restraining order if need be now? Thanks! |
Question: History of group marriages and relationships? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 08:39 PM PDT By group relationships, I am referring to a relationship between several people who all share intimacy, sexual access, and a marital sort of bond. These relationships seem relatively easy to fall into today (at least in America), but I have not found any evidence of them occurring at any other point in history. I am well aware of historical menage-a-trois situations and polygamous marriage, but in none of these situations have all members (particularly members of the same sex) shared the same intimacy and sexual access with other members of the same sex as they did with the member(s) of the opposite sex. Has this sort of arrangement ever happened before, or is our's the first generation liberated enough to enjoy this sort of relationship? |
Posted: 19 Jun 2016 08:39 PM PDT Ever since i was a young boy, I've always seen women everyday and try to involve myself with them but they condemned my interference and i knew i had to stay away or i will be in trouble. So many years has passed now and not having a single woman in my life is sad. I've had many guy friends and they've all been married and divorced many times while am still in the same situation since i was a young boy. I don't know what to do anymore cause am 31 years old and i got in trouble for approaching a woman when i was 26. Everyday i commute to work i see women and reality hits me hard. I will never have relations with women and i live in a 3 bedroom house by myself with my pet dog jack. Life is not fair and been lonely for the rest of my life is not the type of life a person like me deserves because I've always put people ahead of myself. When i see couples i always wish i knew what it was to feel loved and to be able to have a partner. I've cried for so many years and I've got tired. I really don't what what to do now but to feel so bitter, upset and tormented when i see couples whether they are old or young. My house is so quiet and cold even when my dog is awake. I hate any romantic scenes on T.V and because i want a partner which is what everyone has and i know i will never have one has made me hate couples. Seeing couples breaks my heart beyond words can describe and am filled with so much jealousy. Why is having a partner not meant for me? |
Question: Can a cheater change when getting married? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 08:33 PM PDT If a man has been cheating and enjoying cheating, but has stopped right before his wedding date, is it likely/probable that he will continue to not cheat once the wedding is over and the relationship is back into routine? |
Question: I need help asap, my ex is in my daughters bed? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 08:02 PM PDT She keeps asking me to sleep in my bed. She is 11. I tell her no then she tells me dad and her now sleep in her bed together and she has nightmares if he doesnt. She is smart and manipulative. After the third night of asking, I told her she is 11 and has never slept in my bed. She then mentioned she woke dad up because of nightmares and he slept in her bed all night. I told her that is inappropriate. She said "why because he has no shirt on?". I said your bed is yours and dad's is dads. The next thing shocked me. She said she was angry when he got up and went back to his bed in the morning and left her for "his stupid wife". Which is where he should be! Should I call my lawyer? |
Posted: 19 Jun 2016 07:29 PM PDT And yes, I will go ahead and blame myself as default. Ok. With that said, he still gets aroused with me but we haven't had sex in 3 months and I am starting to worry. I want to, he doesn't. He says he doesn't have a side thing, we have no children, he says he doesn't watch porn, and tells me he loves me all the time. Has he already checked out of this marriage sexually? I know men can be emotionally attached to women without desiring them. |

Question: What if your husband told his childhood sweetheart about your sex life? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 06:42 PM PDT My husband regularly talks to his old ' girlfriend ' on fb. They were like 10 years old and she moved out of state years ago so I don't care much.. He's married to me here. Well I opened the laptop and saw a message from her saying ' what?! Your wife dosent like to French kiss? Ha what else dosent she like?' then he told her that our sex life is otherwise good but he misses that. Plus...this girl was the one who taught him to French kiss at ten! So..talking about our sex life to another woman. Big deal or no in your opinion? |
Question: I want to have about 8 kids with my future wife ,ppl said I was dumb :(? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 06:34 PM PDT I have a great paying job and would love to help with anything they need as a father and be there everyday for them |
Question: How does a blended family handle vacations? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 05:35 PM PDT I have 2 kids (13 and 9 yr old) and my husband does too (13 and 12 yr old). We've been married 2 years. I'm very thrifty and he's not. I cook at home, rarely shop, etc so as to save money for things I need for the kids, especially having been a single mom. He doesn't read prices when he shops and he eats out 2 meals daily and generally spends a lot. We are both professionals. We keep our bills money together and pay bills together. But we also keep our own spending money in our personal account. I save a lot of money every year. Before I married him, I took my kids on vacation every year. I haven't been able to take them since I married him because he says it's either I take all 6 of us or we don't go. He doesn't have money saved up to take us. I can't afford to take all 6 of us. I'm in desperate need of a vacation! My kids don't complain but I would love to take them on vacation. I should add that his kids are with us every other weekend and then 2 months in the summer. He also takes them to his home town for 2 weeks in the summer without us, and this is something they look forward to every summer. I feel like I've given up what I looked forward to in the summers. Any suggestions? How do other blended families do it? |
Posted: 19 Jun 2016 05:34 PM PDT He is healthy, for sure not gay, but just is insensitive and has no interest in even holding me. I feel empty and missing a part of my life. |
Question: My parents never sleep together and I think my dad's gay?!? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 05:07 PM PDT For about as long as I can remember, my parents don't have sex. I mean they obviously did at some point bc I have siblings, but not for the last 10 years I can remember. I know many of you will say that it's none of my business and that I'm nosy, but hear me out. I used to share a room with my mom and my dad would sleep in the furthest room bc he snores super loud. Then I got my own room and my parents still sleep separately. After searching similar questions, most answers were like "your parents have sex without you knowing". No they definitely don't. I've waken up to go pee at 3:00 am and they're always asleep in separate rooms. I'm rarely out of the house (bc I have no life). They simply aren't attracted to each other anymore. They're never affectionate and I feel like they are just friends. My parents fall asleep super early (at like 9:00 pm) and I'm up pretty late doing homework or watching Netflix (shh). Plus I found gay porn on my dad's phone a while ago. I'm positive my mom doesn't know bc she has really conservative opinions regarding LGBT rights and they both grew up in conservative households. I feel like my dad was probably closeted his whole life and I don't know what to do. I only have a short amount of time before I move out, but this is going to bug me for the rest of my life. Pitying my dad who has to pretend to love someone he's doesn't and my mom who married someone who might not love her back. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Please help! Thank you |
Question: Husband confessed to cheating in highschool.? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 04:09 PM PDT He flirted with and kissed a few girls & got a HJ from one when we first started dating at 15-16 years old. What do I do? |
Question: I feel like I'm the only person? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 03:35 PM PDT I feel like no other couple argues or has large fights. I know they do and my husband & I very rarely have large outbursts and fights however, when they do happen I can't help but feel alone like no other couples argue & like everyone else's relationships and marriages are perfect. |

Question: Huge argument with my husband has this ever happened? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 03:26 PM PDT My husband and I got into a huge argument. We don't argue too frequently but this argument was one of the largest in our 9 years of marriage. I shouted at him "then divorce me." And he shouted back "maybe I should." We obviously made up but neither of us have ever said anything like that to eachother. Has this ever happened during your marriage? Have you ever had anything like this occur? |

Question: Marriage problems!!!! I need help! My husband is drinking heavily? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 02:55 PM PDT So he was abused as a child emotionally and physically by his father and I don't know how to help him. He has nervous shakes, night terrors, and he barely ever has time to work on his job. His boss is a good friend from church and he is trying to work with him but I fear that he will lose his job soon. I was forced to explain to his boss when he fell and hit his head and got a severe concussion. He then had to go to the hospital because he was mixing pain pills with alcohol and its just been a roller coaster. He is 23 and I am 21 we've been married for two years but I just don't know what to do. I love him but he has really pushed me I've already talked to the Bishop at our ward as well as his family about it but I just can't come up with what to say to the man I married for all the pain he has caused me... He just drinks and drinks and I need to know what to tell him so that I can have the man I fell in love with back. On an off note my husband's family and my family are both wealthy so a good rehab center could be afforded .So I packed up my bags and told him I was going to my parents for a week to reevaluate things.... As I was walking out the door he started to cry and said don't leave I don't want to be alone....he then said that he'd get help but he doesn't want to go to a rehab facility for his drug and alcoholism. While I held him I couldn't help but think how overwhelmed I am... Should he go to a group or does he need to go to a clinic? |
Question: How do I patch things up in this situation? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 02:41 PM PDT My wife and I have not been getting along all the well lately, and for the past month, she has been incredibly moody. After getting into a serious argument over a forgotten grocery item I hadn't picked up, I went over to her brother's house to cool off. We spent the afternoon having a "guy talk" talking about how understanding women required a master's degree in itself and laughed about some of the crazy stuff my wife would say or do. But we both agreed, hey, that's just her quirks, just gotta ride it out for a little bit, things will get better. After awhile I felt a lot better and headed back home. Unbeknownst to me, his wife just so happened to be in another room listening in on everything, and for some reason thought it would be a GREAT idea to take the liberty of phoning my wife and relaying the contents of the conversation to her. Yeah. Predictably (after getting my head ripped off, of course) I'm sleeping on the couch and she refuses to be in the same room with me. It's been going on a week now and I really want to try to resolve this. I don't like the idea of writing letters, and flowers seem too suck-up....is there any other way to patch things up in a situation like this? |

Now with our babies getting ready to leave for college. We are now revisiting this topic. But we haven t just jump into anything. Is this a bad idea? I know I can live with the Curiosity..... Question: How can i get a child custody agreement enforced? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 01:21 PM PDT My ex husband and I have been divorced for several years now. Question: Father Day Question!? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 11:36 AM PDT Need answers fast so I can prove to my husband how crazy and F'd up he is! Every year, I go out and get him his fathers day card (for his dad.) He would never take the time to do that. Just now, hes on his way to go visit his dad and while he was getting ready I wrote this in the car (which is my father in law)...Wishing you a day filled with love and relaxation. Thank you for always being there for us`and everyone and for being a great example of how a real man should be in life. Not all things in life are perfect, but I think you did a perfect job at raising Kyle. Im so lucky to have him and you as my father in law. Enjoy your day. Love (me) Ok, so I wrote that at the very top, leaving the whole bottom of the card for him to write something nice to his dad. He flips **** on me, screaming at the top of his lungs of what a shitty person I am for writing something to "his" dad. He says "Oh, make it all about you!" WTF? Im so sad, I thought I was doing something nice, his dad has been like my dad, Ive known him since I was a little girl (6 years old, 34 now.) Then Im called, bi polar, im a stupid *****, he said "I told you to write something from all of us." I had already told him I didn't want to do that, that he needs to (in his own writing) write something nice, from his heart to his dad. There was plenty of room for us both to write. I thought he'd feel special having a lil note from the both of us. Am I crazy?? Do other wives NOT write something to their father in laws?? |
Question: I don't really understand whether I am overreacting or they are doing too much.? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 11:07 AM PDT My husband is a university teacher. He has a female student who would be 10-12 years younger than him. They call each other father and daughter. They are very intimate and communicate/text/chat with each other throughout the day. I have seen some of their chats which does not indicate affair though! But I can not tolerate their over intimacy. I am more disturbed by the fact that the student had drawn a doodle where she wants to live with my husband in a separate house (she said that as father and daughter) and my husbands carries the doodle in his moneybag. I had some serious talks with my husband about this issue but he becomes very emotional while we talk. He continuously claims that their relation is somewhat sacred and he is trying to help the student as she doesnt have a father for real. |
Question: Why do happily married men cheat? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 10:37 AM PDT I've known of so many seemingly happily married men with children, and yet they still cheat, go out and solicit attention from other women. Why do they do this? Does this mean they have fallen out of love? Because of this, I am afraid to get married. I met a man who lied about being married and hid the fact that he was 49, telling me he was 42. I'm in my 20s. Only to find he's married with children. I feel terrible. I have cut contact but I wonder if informing the wife is the right thing to do? I would want to know if my husband was cheating on me, especially if it's an ongoing thing. Why do men cheat? I would love to hear opinions from married men to get some insight. Thanks in advance. |
Question: Soulmates? If you believe in that type of stuff..Could it really be? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 09:33 AM PDT 2 years ago we met but it was one of those "unofficial meetings" like it was a 3-word conversation. Then 8 months later, I was in class and he walked in with a friend. So while his friend was talking to one of the the teachers, HE was staring at me a lot (My friend told me he was 'checking me out'). But I still hadnt known who he was, I never even knew this guys name. Less than a year ago, we finally got to know eachother and ended up dating. Sadly,we broke up but it wasnt a messy one. He's still in my life and its been abount 7 months or more since the break up.For some reason I rememeber all the small details of those days, all the little things he did, and could tell you exactly what happened (down to what he was wearing, the exact day the event happened on, etc). We never said we loved eachother but he said it for the first time last week. Whenever i look at him, I'm comfortable. I dont love him for his looks, his personality is what got me. Everytime i look into his eyes, its something else. It's something i just cant explain. We dont even need to speak, staring in our eyes makes me feel love & connection. i feel safe. All i see is someone who wants to love and needs to be loved. There has to be a reason he's still here in my life, why i think of him so much(no matter how much I try, i cant lose feelings for him). I dont see myself with anyone else. He's always calling&texting, says he misses me, how he loves me, and kept bringing up all old times & memories we shared. |
Question: My son is planning to get married and didn't tell me? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 08:40 AM PDT I am in a bit of a panic. My only son is planning to marry his girlfriend of only 2 years in just a few weeks and I found out about it from my daughter checking the girlfriends facebook page! They have fights and break up sometimes. They didn't tell me that they were getting married. I confronted my son and he said they didn't tell her family either... I am begging him to post pone this. My husband is deceased and I have no one else. I went to the priest and begged him not to marry them. He couldn't believe they didn't tell me they had a date booked at the church and everything. But he wouldn't cancel the wedding. I don't think that's fair. The families are not on board with this. My son has special circumstances. He is 44 years old and never married before. I don't think it's the life for him. I don't want him to get married just because he's old. I don't think this is the right girl for him! How can I prevent him from making the biggest mistake of his life?? The woman is 36, can't even give me healthy grandchildren. |

Posted: 19 Jun 2016 07:00 AM PDT My sister apparently got engaged 2 years ago. She called me, our parents, her friends, even told people at work. It's been two years and shes worried that this engagement is a sham. They don't have a date and she says that he gets defensive when she asks about any plans. She recently found out that no one close to him, not even his parents or his pre teen children know of them being engaged. I don't like to give wrong advice and not sure what to say to her about this. I want to tell her that it doesnt sound like he really wants to marry, but then again I don't know any real reasons behind why he is stalling. They are both working on degrees, yet money is not really an issue for them. She says when they do business or go out he will address her as his wife, but to his own friends and family he won't. Very strange..any thoughts? |

Question: Is this a good reason for a divorce? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 05:57 AM PDT We been together for 2 years 9 months all together. And we been married for two years . We met 9/14/2013 and got married 6/14/2014. We had no sex for 2 years 2 months . We had a sexless marriage and only had Sex once when we met . I'm 25. Hubby 27. My reasons for a divorce is no sex in marriage and I begged for 2 years for hubby to find a place with me but he enjoys living with his parents. He never gonna move out because he's emotional connected to his parents house because he lived in it since he was 10 and his brother dyed in the house in 2010. His parents are gonna make the upstairs of there 4 bedroom house an apartment but in 5 or 10 years . I'm very sad and hurt everyday because I don't get to make love with my attractive husband and he won't find a place with me . We got plenty of money for that . |
Question: My husband secretly talk to his ex! Idk what to do? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 05:17 AM PDT So I ve been with the my man for 2 years now and we ve been married for 2 and today I found out my husband has been talking to his ex just recently calling her gorgeous and saying that he has been thinking about her a lot. She lives in a different state so he hasn t seen her in a year. I m so devasted and I feel so stupid and I just want but i know he s always been in contact with her through our whole relationship I ve just had a gut feeling but I only have proof of this time. I m so confused because I just got married and I feel like I made a mistake and it might be a bit dramatic or bad problem for some ppl but I want out of this marriage. I just feel so disappointed and I moved to different state with him after my marriage and I miss my family and my friends and everything. I graduated college and got a wonderful job here since I move a month ago so it would be hard to move back home since I come from a small town and I m currently living in a big city. I just don t know what to do! I don t want to forgive him I just want some strangers advice because it s always easier to talk to a stranger! Please don t be rude. I feel so lost and I want out of my marriage. I will confront my husband about the situations but I honestly don t even care about what his reasons or excuses! I m sorry won t fix this. |

Question: I need help, feel like I'm the aggressor!? Posted: 19 Jun 2016 12:55 AM PDT I am in the military and my husband is not. I am taller than him but he is stronger than me in every way. We have been married for a year and in this year we have been in many altercations where we have put our hands on each other. We did separate and eventually he talked me into us working things out. We came to an agreement that if we was to put our hands m eachother we would be done. Well when I moved into a small apartment it ended up happening again, and when I tried to call for help he held my phone against me. Messed with my car so I wouldn't go anywhere, threw me around and choked me. (All without me touching him) how that was resolved he would talk to me play the pity and I would forgive him. This time when I fought back the cops was called and he made it seem that I was attacking him, and the cops fell for it! I don't know what to do, and I feel like just because I'm in military I get looked bad upon and everything is gonna happen on me because of him. Just need advice on what to do.. |
Question: If you want to be a"swinger" why get married? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 11:05 PM PDT Swinging is against God's law and goes against my teachings of my lord and savior Jesus Christ! I have been to a nude resort in Colorado. It was probably the most risqué thing I have done so far lol. MEEP MEEP GO BITE A MOON PIE! |
Question: Guys: Why do you ask her about her dating profile? Posted: 18 Jun 2016 08:16 PM PDT A date asked me how long I was going to stay on a dating site. Why is that a first date question? What makes you ask? |
Posted: 18 Jun 2016 06:16 PM PDT but forgave him. I wasnt perfect often overwhelmed and stressed I was a nag. He left I begged to be with him, he started sleeping with some1. He came back to me but did not treat me right. His brother saw my pain and confessed he was in love with me. I brushed his advances off and never made mention of it. He would make a move but I was not interested. After a fight with my ex his brother came onto me again saying I should leave Bc I was being cheated on, lied 2. He begged me to try something with him. I pushed away reluctant and thought I will always be stuck with a man who doesn't love me I will forgive anything. There was no sex act but I did touch him got real close he took pics I didn't realize I was so uncomfortable. I ceased all contact after. months later the brother messaged me on fb asking why I was ignoring him that he guessed I didn't wasn't $ he owed me He then sent me pics of the day i regretted asked me for more pics I responded with disgust trying to blackmail me. My ex saw everything. Broken up over a year. I desperately want to be with him I always loved him never his brother. At times tells me he misses me and loves me then flips and says we will never be together. He started seeing a young girl then after months came to me crying that he missed me loved me and needed time. He stayed for months then left came back now went back to the girl. I know I made a mistake but I regret it never did it again have not been with any1 else and wish for forgiveness. |
