Question: My boss has been oddly interested in my wife lately? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 08:18 PM PDT I am the director of business intelligence in the west coast and I work directly under the chief operating officer. He is 28. Once every 3 months he travels to my territory and does a review. The past 10 times he has done the review, he has insisted to come over to my house to "assess the efficiency of my home office" but when he does get to my house he always happens to find my wife and strike a conversation with her the entire time. It is coming to a point that I am prematurely telling him before any visits that my wife it out of town just to keep him away (kindly) Another situation is when he and I occasionally meet with other employees at trade shows. He always asks me weird questions about my wife. "What is she like" "What activities does your wife prefer" "Does she like to cook" "What is her favorite....?" Recently what pushed it too far is this question: "Does {my wifes name} like me at all? Does she trust me?" I just said yeah and said that she likes all my coworkers to bring it back to earth. Please tell me what you think and any advice. |

Question: Who earns more money in a married relationship? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 07:09 PM PDT The husband or the wife? I think husbands will always make more money than the wives. I don't see how this can be reversed. |
Question: Should I tell my wife that I'm her ex? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 06:44 PM PDT My wife doesn't have a clue that I'm her ex from a long time ago. We've been together for around a year now, and I feel like telling her would be the right thing to do for some reason, but she might divorce me... and we have a one month old son together. I've changed quite a lot, though - yes, a long time ago I did cheat on her because someone threatened me to do it (it's a long story) but now I'm completely different, and you might not believe me, but you don't know me. Should I do this? It's obviously wrong to hide things... |
Question: Why can t he just support my decisions ? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 06:34 PM PDT So , I told my hubby that I ll be getting up earlier to go on my run since I can t really get a workout in with my 3 year old running around when she s with me . He tells me that I have plenty of things at home to do as a work out or to play with my daughter . That I can t go because my little one will hear me leave the house and wake up and then wake him up . I m like , Ima be gone for a hour or so . He just don t wanna hear it .... Why so controlling ? I m trying to better myself but hes just holding me back with whatever I decide for myself.. :( |
Question: I ruined my marriage by being destructive, how do I get my wife back? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 05:39 PM PDT I messed up, how do I get my wife back? I love my wife. Let me say that first, she and I have been married for a year and a half. So we live in Provo Utah but I have been dealing with some stuff and so I took up very heavy drinking. When I was drinking I would pass out drunk and wake up hung over the next day, shower brush my teeth use mouth wash and go to classes/work. One night when drinking I fell and hit my head and broke both my legs, I fell down the stairs. Anyway I was given some pain medicine and started taking it with alcohol and was rushed to the ER. I guess the final straw was when my wife tried to take my vodka away and I pushed her....I hate to admit that that happened. I do not like to think about what that does to her. I am experiencing night terrors from being abused as a child, was homeless for four years until a family from my church took me in. I am a damaged man wanting to get help but I don't want to deal with these feelings alone how do I get her back? I need her to be there with me when I go to counseling and I need her to be there when I get back. As you can tell from the question my wife left me and went to stay with her sister at her place. She said I need to think about us. How do I apologize and show I want to get better. |
Question: Why am I attracted to him when he is a bad boy? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 05:24 PM PDT Bottom line is I'm a married woman who is attracted to a younger man. I'm 40 and he is 26. He has a young child and he has this thug career: Yep! He is a drug dealer. I consider him as a good friend but I'm also a hypocrite for heavily crushing on him. I try to avoid him as much as I can but I think I'm already on his radar. Like this morning, he waved at me and I think he just found out where I live. Yes, it's flattering but it is wrong. I do love my husband dearly and I don't expect any affairs to happen between me and this young man. In fact I feel like he is a younger brother. But this silly attraction is making it hard for me to act normal around him. I ignore him at times knowing I could get hurt. Despite his career, he is a nice person and great father. What gives? Why get attracted to Mr Wrong when you are happily married? |
Question: Why do I still judge her even though I told myself I forgave her? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 05:12 PM PDT So this girl who almost cost me my marriage is still married to her husband who she says she doesn't have feelings for. Agsinst his will, she said she moved on and started dating men here and there. She almost cost me my marriage because we were good friends. I allowed my husband to accompany her on hiking trips (I had foot injury) not realizing she was poisoning his brain that "If he is not happy, he should leave". After that incident, I lost all respect for her when she admitted they had these conversation. She said she never felt comfortable telling me what went on between them because she's not that person. She never apologized for anything because she said our marriage is doomed. My husband may have had problems but we worked it out. She's completely out of the picture now but the wounds are fresh. Help! It's so unchristian to still remember. |

Question: Can I raise my wife and 2 kids off $8 an hour? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 04:13 PM PDT Can I raise my wife and 2 children off $8 an hour 40-50 hours a week?? |
Question: How do you get your husband to listen to you? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 04:02 PM PDT My husband is getting me angry bcos he don't listen to me. There are times, I would explain a situation to him, then when he is supposed to react towards what I just told him he does nothing. That's when I realise all the time I spent talking he had mentally block me out. Some times, I would be speaking to him for 5 minutes or more. Then I would ask him a question and he would respond, "uh huh". I would ask him, what does he mean by 'uh huh', then he would ask me to repeat the question. How do you respond to your husband treating you like you and your opinions don't matter? It's like anything I have to say, is not worth listening to. It does not matter, if I am relating a past event , a situation or something that just happened which he should be aware of. He completely shuts me out. How could I make him listen? |
Question: My husband got angry and hit me. What do I do? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 03:56 PM PDT My husband came home in a very bad mood and we got into a little fight but then he hit me and I started bleeding. He got very scared when he saw blood and began to apologize profusely. I just left the house for a few hours and when I came back, he was being very sweet. He bought flowers and made dinner and at some point, he even got on his knees and begged me not to leave him. He has anger management issues and he said that he when he gets that angry, he can't see or think clearly. What do I do now? I think he really tries to restrain himself from doing anything when he's angry because we have two kids around but sometimes, he holds my wrist very tightly and drags me someplace else so we can fight without the children seeing. He's never hit me before. He's just really rough with me sometimes. He's nice to the kids though. |

Question: I'm in love with two people at the same time and I am broken about what to do.? Posted: 15 Jun 2016 02:15 PM PDT I met the first man when I was a freshman in college. He was my liberal arts teacher, and as stereotypical as it sounds, I fell in love with him at first sight. We would go back and forth with each other, and even my friends would note that there was something unique between us. one day he brought his girlfriend in. I was young, not stupid. I walked away.my heart broke because I couldn't tell him I was in love. As the years went on he got married, so I started to date and met my husband. I love him in a slightly different respect, he's not as intellectual, and he isn't like me much at all, but he works hard, is a great provider, and claims he loves me. Then one day, almost a decade since I'd seen him, I ran across the teacher on Facebook. I friended him, figuring he never saw me in that way anyhow, I was wrong. One night after a post sayin I never could get a prom date, he messaged me declaring he would have taken me, and asking me what I really thought about him years ago. Danger zone right? Ultimately the lost love of my life wanted to know how I had felt. Truths came out, and guess what? He'd liked me too. Ultimately the teach blocked me because I wouldn't pick him, despite really being in love with him. I still love him after all these years, but I love my family. I just feel like I would regret life if I just let him walk away again. But I wouldn't be happy to walk out on my family I have now. Anyone else ever been in this situation and what did you do? |
