Question: Am I having a midlife crisis at 20? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 10:15 PM PDT I just turned 20 this month, and I'm not sure, but it feels like I might be having a crisis. I've been worried about dying, my parents dying, growing old, getting wrinkles, not finding someone to love, the peak oil crisis, where this country is headed, where I'll be or if I'll be in a few years, what I'm doing with my life, all of the years I've wasted, and all of the wonderful opportunities I spat on that are now gone. Is this a midlife crisis? Why do I feel this way so soon? Thanks. |

Question: Can i sue this disney store for racism? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 09:18 PM PDT We were the only spanish couple at the time in the store and we were asked to show an ID while paying with my wifes debit card. Nobody else showed or were asked to show an ID when paying. My wife let her purse with her driver license in the car, it took me like 15 minutes to get to the car its a big mall we explain the lady but she insisted... ok i understand its store policy and procedure. It took me too long to come back and during the wait the lady on the register asked my wife with my little girl of 3 years old listening "are you sure he's going to come back?" Making me feel not just that they were QUESTIONING the origen of the card but also thinking that i was a criminal. My wife answered "hes my husband of 12 years he will never do such a thing" all of these right on front of my little girl. I felt mistreated and i asked for her name, store number and costumer service hot line. ITS DISNEY FOR GOD SAKE MY BABY'S FAV STORE!!! |
Question: How do I STOP my daughter from MARRYING this LOSER? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 09:14 PM PDT My daughter is 18 years old! She just started dating this LOSER guy that is 31 and works at a restaurant as a waiter. My daughter is very smart and going to medical school at a private university that we are paying for. This guy has never been to college at all! :( She is not pregnant! Also they have been dating for 4 months and he proposed to her. She has had many boyfriends in the past, however I see that she tends to get bored of her relationships fast and moves on. I do NOT think marriage is good for her. Especially at this age! What do I do? :( PS* he also was romantically talking to her when she was 17 years old & underage. He is a total creep/loser ! |

Question: Feeling left out after 22 years of marriage.? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 08:21 PM PDT My husband's son (25) from his ex has been going through some things lately ,( jail, drugs, a child ) and my husband has had cause to discuss issues about him with his ex wife which is no big deal but lately she's been texting asking what my husband is doing for father's day and wants to bring the grandson (1 year old ) for a visit. ( I will be at work. My husband already knew that and said yes, you should come) then she started sending pics of grandson done by photographer. Oh. Theyre great!! She says I'll tag you in the pictures. Great. A week later when I'm not working my two jobs I take a look at these tagged pics. He is very cute but the next pic is of her in a boudaire photo almost naked!! Apparently this photographer does a vast range of photos!! Should I be mad? Also, I found out about the other photo from my daughter who told me . my husband never did and still hadn't told me he even saw them. I still haven't said a word. What should I do or should I just not care? |

Question: My bf has, over time confided in me EVERYTHING about him!? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 08:11 PM PDT He has told me intimate details about things that have happened in his life since he was a child. Tells me things no one else knows, even his x wife! I m not sure what that means. |

Posted: 12 Jun 2016 07:53 PM PDT I'm a male and for us I guess men have to make a lot of money to have a a wife that loves them and kids that look up to them. Women don't seem to have to really do much because former porn actresses are able to get married and have kids and not deal with any consequences. While every woman I've noticed says I need to make more money or need to lose weight or move into an apartment. Yes, I'm homeless and can't find a suitable income to get a permanent dwelling. I've become cold hearted from living on the streets for so long, but I'm still not sure why I care about having kids. |
Question: What's the purpose of marriage if there's no intention of having children? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 07:45 PM PDT I don't see how marriage is benifical if there's no intention of having children. I understand wanting to provide a stable living environment for a child, but what if a couple doesn't want to have children? What's the point of getting married then? You could just live together. Why the need to involve the government in your love life? I don't get it. |

Question: Would this woman forgive me of rape if I would rape her? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 07:04 PM PDT I met this drop dead beautiful woman several years ago and I've been having sex fantasies and fantasies of raping her ever since I met her. She is a very nice person and very forgiving too. She is married and she forgives her husband a lot. Now lets say if I rape her and she found out it was me. Would she forgive me or do you think she would press charges against me? I know I wouldn't rape her but it is a what if question. |
Question: How do you make up for lost wages while your spouse is incarcerated? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 06:52 PM PDT Long story short... my spouse is in jail for about the next 30-40 days. I'd like to find a way to bring more money into the home while he is away. I'm praying that he'll still have his job but in the event that he doesn't and it takes longer for him to find employment... I'll have to make more somehow to sustain us. |

Question: Is There Any Sex Toys For Your Nipples? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 05:41 PM PDT My nipples are very sensitive so when i play with them it feel amazing, but i am kind of getting a bit bored of just rubbing, pulling, twisting etc. So i was just wondering if there are any sex toys for nipples and by the way i am legal to buy sex toys. Here is a list of things i had tried out on my nipples: Rubbing, Pulling, Twisting etc. Ice cubes. Clamping. (Clothes Pins) Candle wax. Feather Duster. (To be honest that didn't really do anything for me) and that is about it really. |

Question: What to do with this hot married woman hitting on me? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 04:57 PM PDT I am a single man and I'm finding this married woman really flirtatious. When I work out, she's always finding ways to get my attention by brushing her hands on my arms or my shoulder. I know she's trying to be friendly but there are times I just want to grab her and take her home. I have a pretty good self control and I'm trying my best to behave. But when she's around, my imagination runs wild. |

Question: What is a good age to get married? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 03:58 PM PDT I know it varies on a individual basis, but lets say we are talking about the "average person." No children desired, so no need to calculate that into the equation. I know the brain isn't fully developed until around age 25, so no need to remind mention that fact either. |

Question: Husband yells, doesn't shut up and interrupts during arguments. Advice? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 03:27 PM PDT During arguments, my husband raises his voice, is constantly talking over me and interrupts every time I speak. Sometimes, he doesn't stay quiet and let's me finish my point but the majority of the time is the total opposite. I get stressed and aggravated and I raise mine right after just to be heard, which of course doesn't work. During an argument, I tried telling him that we both have difficulties communicating properly and that we should both calm down and just shut up just to see if we're able to. I shut up and he didn't. He kept repeating the same thing over and over again. The fact that I was telling us both to shut up made him probably feel inferior or as if I was trying to boss him. But, I did shut up aswell while he didn't. He kept talking and got angrier then told me to shut up instead. Any advice? |

Posted: 12 Jun 2016 02:16 PM PDT My husband had a girlfriend in college who was VERY pretty - looked like a model (super thin, perfect hair, etc). He was obsessed with her for about eight years after she broke up with him, during which time he married someone else and the marriage ended largely because he was not over her. He told me he had not had contact with her for years and had not tried to reach out, but a few months ago I found out he lied to me about that. It turns out he did have contact with the ex gf during his first marriage and reached out to her shortly after leaving his wife. He is a songwriter and even admits to writing a love song about her at that time. They didn t have an affair, but I m pretty sure it was only because she didn t want to. I feel betrayed and like I can never trust him. I am not ugly, but I am nowhere near as pretty as this ex, not to mention she is talented and smart. The infatuation stage of our relationship died out long ago, but it s like it never did with this girl. I just keep thinking that what happened before could happen again and even if he doesn t leave me to be with her, he may secretly want to. What should I do? |
Question: Is it possible for my husband to actually do this to me? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 01:34 PM PDT when he gets mad he is violent, aggressive, has insulted me, slapped me hit me, pushed me, threaten to divorce me threaten to kill me etc. When I finally said divorce. He did everything in his power not to split the family, but because I have firmly decided to get divorce he consulted a lawyer who Idk how he explain things to her, she told him he hit me in self-defense, since he knows I have documented his abuse in a diary she told him that means I did not enter this marriage with the best interest, since I cuddle with my 5 year old son she told him I do not have the best interest in our son so he says if I divorce him he could not only easily take our child from me but make me pay him alimony. When I am the primary care provider and he does not even supervise our son. A lawyer told me I have more chances to win custody, but his lawyer told him he has more chances to win custody?? Help I am a foreigner, I have NO family hear to support me I am all by myself and also his lawyer told him that by the money he makes he has more chances when we both make about the same, and we both split the expenses of the house equally sorry I meant no family here |

Question: Am I legally married in Wisconsin? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 07:44 AM PDT I live in Wisconsin and got married by a friend of my husbands that my husband told me was ordained in my faith which was very important to me and now I find out that he was not in fact ordained in any way in any faith of any kind. He was just free and willing to lie and say he was. We have been separated for 3 years not legally though. So my question is since this man had no credentials to preform the ceremony are we even legally married in the states eyes and do we need to file for divorce or is there something else I need to file? |
Posted: 12 Jun 2016 06:56 AM PDT I found out my wife is flirting with a guy on Facebook and maybe with other guys also. The only way I found out is that I seen that she like a page on FB now I know she not going to do anything (i hope not) but the problem is it's been a year and a half since we had sex. I tried to talk to her (not about the FB incident i just found out about this) but has come she doesn't want me and all she keeps saying is she not wanting me and told me things I'm doing wrong. BTW I fixed these problem and still nothing. I need help should I suggest a marrage counselor to her or dose anyone have any ideas Thanks |
Question: What to do when your own conflicting moral beliefs (old versus new) affects your marriage? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 06:41 AM PDT Let's say that in 2008 (before Facebook) I had a set of very STRONG core beliefs about myself, marriage, and society. Let's also say that at that time, having friendships was not important to me but I had them. Then let's say that in 2010 when I adopted Facebook into my life I had a lot of conflicting information enter my life and it challenged then weathered down my core beliefs. Then let's say in 2011 I came here because of this internal conflict (cognitive dissonance for you psychology majors) and I was looking for "truth". Then let's say that the gape between my core beliefs from 2008 to now got even wider... Lastly, let's say that today (2016) my core values are so far from who I am that I don't know how to get them back BUT my wife married me because she liked the core beliefs and not the new ones that I had been exposed to that caused the dissonance... Yes, that was a lot to take in so I'll simplify it: What do you do when someone planted seeds in your head, they grew, blossomed, and took over BUT your entire life is based on the old seeds that were in there before this idea/belief/value took root? Basically what I'm trying to find out how to return to a state where I was naive and/or when this new idea didn't dominate my mindspace? Also, I'm out of points so I need help thinking of a new screen name. If you are a regular on here and you are aware of my UV legacy, what should I call my next account based on where I am in life judging on this question? |
Posted: 12 Jun 2016 06:32 AM PDT Husband has cheated multiple times. Has a child by another woman. He changed his Facebook relationship status to appear if he's separated or single so he can appease other women, or his ex-lover. Married man shows up waiting at ex-lover stop sign at the end of her street because he knows she has an appointment every first Wednesday and she walks to the bus stop. Why does he keep doing the same thing if all she does is tell the wife. He does not live in that neighborhood. He has a friend he can stay with if need be. Will this type of man try to do something crazy if the woman won't acknowledge him/have sex with him? |

Posted: 12 Jun 2016 01:22 AM PDT We don t visit my mother in law because she was never that close to us, she left his father and brothers when he was just 2 years old, sending back the youngest brother to live with his father overseas when he was only 9 months. She never ever spoke to the guys when they became older (20 years after leaving them) When he was 23 years old, I was his gf and I was 19, his younger brother died. I begged him to try and talk to his mom and his brother s funeral and he did, despite hating her throughout his whole teen years. About 2 months ago, (I am 23, My husband is 27 now) Our first fight as husband and wife (both of us knowing his mom for about 2 full years), My husband and I got into a stupid fight and he went and slept by her house. They talked about me all night and afterwords my husband decided to leave me. He left to Florida for his brothers murder case, bought tickets with my credit card and told me our marriage was over, and that I wasn t allowed to come along for the case as planned. My ticket was charged and unused. He went and billed 300$ on my card as well for a tattoo, before he left, when I called him he was rude and disgusting, I got angry cancelled the card and cancelled his plane tickets. His mother called me yelling at me for being inconsiderate, and I told her that she did not know him well enough, as I did, and I knew what he was capable of. She called me a B*TCH. I hung up on her, after she said to never contact her # again, even if my husband took me back! |
Question: What am I suppose to do about our marriage? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 01:22 AM PDT We got married when I was 4 months pregnant, we were going to do it at a later time but figured why wait so we went to the court house. I didn't want to do it that way, I wanted a big wedding & a honeymoon but his parents kept saying that the state would try to get him for child support so we should get married & he wanted to get married on halloween so we did. He just turned 18 that month & I'm 20. I thought when I got pregnant or when we got married he would start being more mature and look for a job ect. But he didn't. I feel like he doesn't want to provide for us. Our daughter was born a month early and we had to stay in the NICU for 10 days, he didn't want to feed her cause he didn't like it and barley held her at all. It's still that way today almost 4 months later. I've talked to him about it but he keeps doing the same thing, never changes. The whole time she's been born he's givin her a bath once. I'll ask him to feed her or hold her or be like it's your turn and he'll just sigh and say why is it my turn? & if I get upset he'll get an attitude and try to guilt trip me by saying I think he's a bad father and husband. Right now I just don't know what to do. All he does is play video games all day or he's on his phone. I want to spend actual time with him but it seems like he doesn't want to with me. He doesn't have a job still and never looks for one either. We also live with his grandma and parents and if i'm at work his mom usually has our daughter. |

Question: Is marriage always one sided? Posted: 12 Jun 2016 12:19 AM PDT Why does it seem like the wife does everything and husbands think they don't have to do anything at all? |

Question: Im not really happy but its bearable. Is this normal in a marriage? Posted: 11 Jun 2016 11:34 PM PDT I dont feel close to my wife. We dont fight everyday but I have to be on near perfect behavior. Im not allowed to get annoyed with her but she gets annoyed with me a few times a week. We get into bad fights every month or so. We have tried therapy but the only thing that works is if I keep my mouth shut and do as much around the house as I can. Even so there is no appreciation from her. If I bring up anything that bothers me, she would have a meltdown. We have 2 kids and I love being with them. Should I live life like this or just separate? |

Question: How to deal with wife's anger issue? Posted: 11 Jun 2016 11:09 PM PDT I dont feel close to my wife because she has anger issues. Everytime I tried to talk to her about something that bothers me in the relationship in a peaceful manner she blows up and has a fit. However whenever something bothers her I have to sit there like a good husband and listen and empathize with her. It really bothers me with the double standard of this relationship and I would get out if I could but I have 2 kids and financially it would be difficult to be apart. I have suggested she read an anger management book or go to therapy but she refuses because she feels she can do no wrong. What do i do? |
Posted: 11 Jun 2016 10:55 PM PDT I have a friend who is very ordinary looking, and he said he would never have an arranged marriage. But he has now agreed , and I see why, he had average looking girlfriends, BUT his bride is super model material ( and as it turns out she is very nice personality too) and is looking forward to marrying him. Lucky guy. |
