Question: Is being Easy Going Bad? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:58 PM PDT Hello, My Dad and Mom were arguing very harshly and loudly last night about me and my brother. We are currently staying with our Dad for the summer, and he said some things about us as if we weren t his own children, that really hurt me. (My Mom and Dad are Divorced.) He said to my Mom that she was a bad parent because we are too be "Soft" and "Easy-going." Mind you my Dad is a very physical person, He has been a Policeman and was in the army for almost 30 years. He owns many guns and believes that he should have the right to protect himself (Which I can t argue with But I don t think you need to carry guns), and is in a Motorcycle Club. My brother has developed a small fear of him because of this. OnDadMy Dad has an opinion on something, he automatically thinks he s right and won t listen to your opinion. Me and my Brother are people who don t care much for drama or violence. If someone tells us something negative or try to break us down, We d ignore it. We just keep going on with our lives. (Well my brother would say something like He really doesn t care what that specific person thinks about him.) We get good grades, So I don t see the problem. Will we really be a failure in life? |
Question: What to do if you dislike your parents? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:43 PM PDT I don't want to say I hate my parents, because they're my parents. It's mostly my mom. I used to think it was normal to live this way but I've realized as i got older its not. She's mean to me. Like just downright nasty. Shell say really mean things to me and the next day pretend everything is fine. Im not perfect by any means but I am a good kid. I graduated with honors, don't drink or do drugs, am going to a good college and I generally try to be respectful even when I want to kill them. My mom screams over everything. She makes everything a huge deal and she's just not nice to me. Shell curse at me and scream at me over something minimal and then 2 days later be nice. It really makes me miserable. Its made it difficult to maintain freindships and relationships and Ive gotten to the point where I get so resentful i don't want to be nice or spend time together anymore. The problem with my dad is he just ignores it because he doesn't want to deal with it. my family knows she's wrong but no one ever does anything and I feel like Im crazy or missing something. Then i feel guilty for saying i hate them because its not like they neglect me. They pay for my college etc. but i feel like my mom tries to hole me hostage with money. I need an education and help paying for college but I want to be free of her drama and ridiculousness. Seeing the way other kids makes me jealous because they're so care-free and happy and I have to constantly deal with my families ****. help she has generally brain washed my family to believe i am evil and the root of all the problems. I don't want to live like this anymore. It makes me anxious and makes me feel sick. It makes it hard to get anything done. Once my boyfriend was over and she started screaming. It was so embarrassing and it also made him realize what I have to deal with. I generally don't talk about it to anyone, but he's the one person i do trust to talk about it. I don't want him to not like me because of my family. |
Question: I hate my stupid parents for having another baby ????!!!!? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:42 PM PDT It's my mom and step dad. Life is just gunna be harder for us and because their lazy. And saying that it's meant to be.... WTF??!!!! What does that mean that it's okay to have more kids. But it does changes everything and I don't like this. We're almost all grown except their 2 little bra t. I don't know what's my point but I don't like this. And meant to be for what what does that mean ? Does it impact us in a good way or bad way. I hate them |
Question: Should I remove my youngest from the Will? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:41 PM PDT Long story short.. she has been constantly telling me that I m spending "her inheritance." I hate the sense of entitlement she has. None of my other kids berate me this way. I m thinking of just dropping her and telling her sorry, but you aren t getting anything from me when I pass. |
Question: My dad is trying to get me into a special class next year? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:40 PM PDT I got suspended 2 times in 2 weeks. My dad always have a talk to me everyday when he drives me to school and I don't listen to him so once I got suspended this week he got really angry at me. He had a 30 minute speech with me once I got inside my house and I'm a good kid but my social studies teacher (captain of my school team, not related to sports or anything) gave me this packet to give me to my dad since my teacher thinks I am special because I act stupid and he always catches me doing it. My dad signed no to not do it and 2 months later now he is willing to sign it, he is trying to get that packet back or I think it is an extra one on my table. He never said he was going to sign it but he is trying to get me scared, or he is probably going to sign it. Any suggestions, please ASAP! |

Question: Was I molested? I don't remember my childhood.? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:37 PM PDT I was adopted when I was 9. I was put in foster care at 8, and my foster parents ended up adopting me. They're great people. I'm now 15. I don't remember anything before foster care. Nothing. I have no knowledge of what happened, if or when I went to school, etc. My parents told me not to look for my biological parents. I have issues. I'm intelligent, sure, but I have severe anxiety, and anger issues. It makes my parents upset. Sometimes when I have an outburst or something my mom starts crying and tells me it isn't my fault. My parents told me my mother was a stay at home mom, and that my father was a decent lawyer. In other words, they weren't disgustingly poor, and they could pay for me. |
Question: How do I avoid being cast into the outer darkness? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:34 PM PDT In my family there are the good ones and the bad ones and those in the bad side are cast to the outer darkness as are their offspring. My mother is one of the who has been cast out by some to the outer darkness and thus as her son I have as well even if I formally renounce her (My mother did the same thing to her cousin whose mother was cast out). So how do I prevent being cast out to the outer darkness by my mother's family? What they due to be cast out is for example my mother's cousin was the son of a woman who was tacky as a mother. The tacky mother had an alcoholic father who was mean sometimes. A great-uncle who was temporarily cast out was done so because his daughter had an affair. Th daughter was eternally cast out and the father was for about 4 years. Another example was in my case I sometimes believed my mother as a kid when she would speak ill of people. As a result I am partially cast out though not completely. My mother is eternally cast out because she is bitter towards her siblings because they loved their step-Dad and were his children (so they are her half-siblings). So I know this all sounds weird but how do I avoid being cast out as it is still family I want to be close to even if the casting out is weird. |
Question: Thirteen year old girl and her blankie...? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:31 PM PDT My almost 13 year old step daughter has this disgusting blankie that she carries around everywhere. I won't even allow it in our house till its washed. It always stinks, she drags it around everywhere and takes it outside. It is just a little bit smaller than a twin size sheet. She will hold it under her nose and sniff it all the time and has to be sniffing it when she goes to sleep. We have tried limiting it to only her bed but she finds another blanket to drag around and sniff. I want to take it away from her this summer and her dad is semi on board. Am I just being a evil step mom? |

Question: What should I do about my Muslim family? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:13 PM PDT My family is very religious. They are Muslims. I hate how they control my life. My mom and sister constantly tell me to cover up more and I hate it. They make me feel I sure about being a women. I don't dresslike a slut, but they want me talking a dress on top of pants with cardigan and a scarf. They always tell me that woman serve man and that man are above woman. Because of this I am really shy about men and am very insecure. They tell me to not keep my opinion to myself and if anyone is being rude to me, I should not defend myself. I am 21 and want to move out, but they say I can only move out, when I am married to an Muslim and if I move out without it, they are going to cut ties with me. To be honest I am not even a Muslim and have no desire to be. I am just afraid that if I told them, they will kick me out or worse harm me. I don't know what to do. Help me please and. O lectures on how "Islam is great and I should give into it, because my mind is made". Thanks for your help. |

Question: My girlfriend made me choose between her and my dog? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:02 PM PDT me and my gf are both19. I live alone with my german shepherd dog in my own flat. Hes such an amazing well trained big dog.. and hes always by my side. whenever my gf comes round she treats my dog like ****..... and so my dog doesn't like her, and sometimes my dog would bark at her and my gf hates it. I told her if you just be kind to him and pet him every once in a while my dog will like you but she hates him. once my dog picked up my gf purse with his mouth and my gf overreated. She said "WHY ARE U CHEWING MY PURSE U DUMB PIECE OF SH*T DOG"... she screamed at him and my dog ran in the bathroom cause he was scared. I told my girlfriend he wasnt chewing it and i said dont fu*king treat my dog like that, leave him alone..we had a massive argument... then she gave me a ultimatum her or the dog.... i was really angry at the time so i said i choose the dog then she left the house.... i kinda regret saying that now and i wanna get back with her but she wont respond to my texts. why cant i have both, why does she want me to get rid of my dog. My dog has done nothing wrong except be a dog.. am in the wrong here? or is my gf just a heartless cow??? did i make the right decision. |
Question: Is it bad if your mom never hugged/hugs you? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:02 PM PDT I can only count twice in my life my mom gave me a hug and they were both because she was trying to act like a good mom in front of guests we had over, so it was just acting I saw my friends mom give my friend a kiss and I was thinking like 'wow is that a normal thing all moms do?' So I have no idea what regular moms do. I'm 16 if that matters |

Question: My dad wants me to get a second job at 16? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 11:52 AM PDT i'm not working many hours per week, yet i still have to do community service and help him with yard work (which NEVER ends!!!) basically he thinks that I'm not stressed enough and wants to make my summer miserable for me. Question: 21st birthday and I'm not all that excited? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 11:50 AM PDT Growing up my parents never made a big deal out my birthday. My dad would constantly say "it's just another day" so we wouldn't do anything. I actually forgot about my birthday 1 year because of that. I was turning 16 and I honestly forgot until I got a call from my aunt. But now I'm turning 21 and my 2 friends expect me to want to do things. But in all honesty I don't want to do anything, I don't know if it's because I was raised to think birthdays aren't special or what. I don't like drinking, I've had multiple drinks like most people do before they're 21. It's not fun to me and I see no point in getting drunk. So I don't know what to do, my family members never did anything either. My aunts, uncles, cousins and even my grandma don't even know how old I am. They still think I'm in high school so my birthday is always kind of sad. I want to try and be happy but I just can't seem to get excited about it. Any ideas on what to do? I don't have a job at the moment so I don't really have a lot of money. I don't have a car so unless I walk somewhere I can't go anywhere. I still live with my dad and he hates people he doesn't know being in his house so I can't have anyone over. My friends don't have cars so I'm pretty stuck here but thank you in advance for your answers. |
Question: So my mom wont do my fafsam Now what? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 11:44 AM PDT Im 22 and not old enough to do it on my own. She s not doing it because she s convinced that im not actually going to go to class and I admit I have had that problem in the past but this time im determined to do well. My stepdad is afraid of my mom so he wont do it and im sure my moms going to manipulate my dad into not doing it too. What are my options? |
Question: How do I tell my dad I know he's cheating on my mom? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 11:40 AM PDT I accidentally texted my dad something that was for my friend. He doesn't keep a code on his phone so before he could see it I went to delete it. When I was deleting it a message popped up from a woman. Being the nosey person I am I clicked on it and there was a whole conversation about how amazing he was. She said she had so much fun with him last night and she wants him to come see her. He told me last night he was going to the store and didn't come back for 2 hours. But I figured he was just getting a lot of food. She also sent him disturbing pictures of herself. Which he replied "mmm I like that" and I just busted out crying. I threw his phone and just went to my room, I haven't told anyone about this. My parents are separated at the moment, their marriage counselor wanted them to spend some time apart. But they said they didn't want a divorce so I don't understand why he'd cheat. But I don't know what to do because now I can't even look at him the same. When he talks to me all I think about are the messages I saw. I'm stressed out about what to do and its not as easy as just telling him I know. My mom acussed him of cheating on her a while back but he denied it. I defended him too and she cried about the whole thing. Any advice? I'm 15 if that helps and I'm so stressed out. |

Question: Can my boyfriends mom become my legal guardian? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 11:25 AM PDT Alright so I m 16 and pregnant, and whenever our parents found out they both talked and were supportive and my boyfriends mom says she would love for me to move in. Of course my parents said no and I respected their decision and forgot about it. But recently I have noticed that I cannot raise a baby in this house. Okay for one we are a family of 7 in a 3 bedroom house. It s always disgusting in here which is why I never like to be home. My parents can t keep jobs and Won t pay the bills, at the moment we don t even have water so we can take showers or cook with water. They blow all the money on cigarettes and they smoke in the house and blow smoke into all of our lungs and leave ashes everywhere, which is not good for a baby. We live off of food stamps so I m not getting proper nutrition I need for this baby I barely get anything to eat at all. My mother never buys things we need like toilet paper and soap and things of that sort because she just blows it on **** we don t need. It s not a good living space whatsoever and there is no room for a baby so is there any way that my boyfriends mom could be my guardian? If not then how can I convince my parents to let me leave so I can be in a good environment for this baby? |
Question: How to talk to my mom? Please help!? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 11:21 AM PDT Ok so my mom and dad have been separated since I was young and I used to live with my mom. My mom is in the military so we would usually move to another state each year so she can go to medical school. My mom sent me and my brother to live with my dad so she could finish med school four years ago. We would still visit her and my sisters on the holidays(Christmas, summer, spring break etc.).They had made an agreement that when she finishes med school me and my brother would have to come back to live with her. I m in the ninth grade(14 years old) now and I m over at my moms house at the moment for summer break. She still thinks we are going to live with her after this summer but I don t want to. I don t because the friends I ve made are very important people to me and i do not want to make new friends all over again. I also want to finish high school there as well. I also don t want to leave because of my boxing gym that s over there. But I don t know what to tell my mom without hurting her feelings. Am I a bad person for not wanting to live with her now? What should I say to her? P.S. My sisters just graduated from high school and are going to college in August which means my mom will be alone if I don t stay. P.S.S. My dad lives in Georgia and my mom lives in Oklahoma |
Question: Do you think 13 year old should be allowed to move out? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 11:20 AM PDT I would like to move out because my parents treat me unfairly My parents is very strict about rules. There is nothing I can do with that. But sister, when she moved back home, she can, she don't have to follow them! My sister moved back home after college this year and lives here until she and her boyfriend finds a place they can live. Before she got back, it was allways that I'm not allowed to have girls over without my parents home, and if we lock the door to my room, my parents would check in on us very often. My sister and her bf can spend as much time allone they want! She has no set bedtime, and can be out as long as she wants I would like to move out, but I can't because its illegal -.- |
Question: I'm 19 with an overprotective Mother. I need advice please.? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 11:02 AM PDT I'm 19 years old, and I just finished my 1st year at college. So technically I'm still living at home. I've always been a good daughter. I always listened to my parents and I got good grades and I have never done drugs or drank. But, now that I'm in college, I want to do things on my own now. Naturally. But my mom still has control over my life. I have to ask her when I want to go places and when I want to do stuff. I recently got into a relationship, and she is accepting of it and said I'd be in one regardless of her permission. Still, it is difficult because I am in a long distance relationship. He has come to visit me three times, but I have not been able to visit him down south. As an adult, I know I have the right to go see him. She said that she doesn't think so. And it's not because of sex, because she already knows that that has happened already. I feel that this will affect my relationship badly and it's because I won't stand up to my parents. I want to live my life, and if things I do end up being mistakes, I will deal with it. I'm not even asking for her to pay for the trip, I would pay for it. And it's not as though it would be forever, I'm only trying to go for a few days. I know she means well, but it's making me unhappy with not being able to do what I want. I need to stand up to her, in a respective manner, because I don't want my relationship with her to get destroyed. But I want to be treated as an adult. |
Question: Is driving 3 hours to the beach and 3 hours back worth a trip to the beach for a day? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 11:01 AM PDT I'm tired of my Summers not being any fun. The last two summers I wasn't able to do anything because one summer I had a surgery and the next summer I had to work all summer to make up for it. I'm working a lot this summer but I have free time to go to the beach. I was really hoping to coordinate going on vacation with my girlfriend but since I don't have kids and she has 3 kids and a job it's nearly impossible. So I'm thinking about just going off and doing things on my own and there's a beach around here that is so cool but it's 3 hours away. I'm wondering if the drive is worth it |
Question: My parents wont help out with college? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 10:58 AM PDT I'm going to go to community college in the fall but from what my parents are hinting at is that I have to pay. I know community college isn't so bad when it comes to money but my parents make a descent amount...so I can't really get financial aid. They also said the moment i turn 18 and get a job I have to pay rent. How am I supposed to pay rent when I have to pay for college as well? I'm at a loss Any suggestions? And please no rude comments. |
Question: Has your marriage ever suffered a major crisis- but survived? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 10:46 AM PDT Major issue with my wife and me involving family but I'm optimistic we can overcome it and be closer then ever. Question: How to deal with an abusive sibling? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 10:25 AM PDT I have a sister 7 years older than me. We were never really close as kids. She would always taunt me and call me 'ugly' and she would often grab my hair and drag me across the room whenever we have a fight; she says that she's only teaching me a lesson. We have little to nothing in common in interests and we have such polarizing personalities that we can't agree on anything. When I was 7, she moved in to my relative's house so that gap between us widened. Fast forward years after, we now share the same room with our parents in the house. She now has a job and I m a student. At first, it was fine. We act like normal siblings but then she reverted back to her old self—probably her real self all along—and started invading my personal space and bossing me around that a slight mistake can cause a loud rant at best or a bruise. I tried avoiding her and just putting with her demands My parents are aware of this. In fact they are present whenever these abuses happen. She has a heart disease and my parents are tolerating her because they fear that she might have a heart attack if she becomes upset. They say that since I m the healthier one, I should just put up with it and try not to upset her. I can t always give in to her demands since I have needs on my own and also a demanding school to boot. I can t move out of my situation. What can I do? |
Question: Was he right about my hair? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 10:21 AM PDT My cousin saw a photo I had taken by a photographer, framed on my wall. I had spent 2 hours doing my hair for the photo, but the wind that day kind of messed it up. When he saw it, he said "What on earth did you do to your hair???" I was hurt because I didn t think my hair looked that bad. Windswept, sure, but I thought it still looked pretty. =( My boyfriend thought it was nice, my brother thought it was fine, but my cousin? =( Was he right? |
Question: My dad makes my boyfriend cry? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 10:09 AM PDT I know this sounds silly. We're both in college, and my BF lives in the college dorm. I've been with him for almost a year. He's a shy type (I was the one who asked him out), but he's smart and I think very sweet. There are things that he doesn't want to talk about, like his family. I also noticed some scars on his arms but I haven't asked anything since he hasn't confided in me (yet). I suppose he will when he feels more comfortable with me. He does say that he had a hard time with his dad when he was still living at home. My family wants to meet him and finally I brought him home one weekend (he was reluctant). My 3 elder brothers warmed toward him very quickly but my dad was so frustrating. Already my BF is always agitated among new people and I was angry to my dad for pressuring him. He asked a lot about my BF's family (b/c he thinks family background is important) and about his scars ("are you into self-cutting?"), and suddenly my BF just burst out sobbing and it was all d*mned awkward. My brothers helped lighten up the situation and they were very nice to him, but I feel pained. My BF is still very uncomfortable and I can't imagine him wanting to visit my family in the near future. My dad said there's something wrong with my BF, but I think he has some bad experience in the past and needs time to confide in me. We take things slowly, and I really care about him. What should I do with my dad? I'd like him to support our relationship, not the contrary. |
Question: What's the name of the song that has this scenario? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 09:55 AM PDT The song is about a son who constantly asked his father to pay attention to him, but his father kept blowing the son off. But then one day, when the son got really old, the father asked his son to pay attention to him, then the son blew his father off in the end after being blown off so many times by his father in the past. |
Question: My family is jealous of me? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 09:45 AM PDT They are jealous of the relationship I am in, when I treat myself, and good things that are going on in my life. I am very happy with every aspect of my life. I don't include them in my personal business or personal life. IDC either, but I can definitely sense it. Yes, I can tell by how they act. I don't include them in personal business. I am grown with 2 children. |
Posted: 06 Jun 2016 09:28 AM PDT So, my sister left the house and my parents can track her on her phone and they told me not to tell her but I did because I felt as if it wasn't right for my parents to spy on her like that. I need to know how to lie so I don't get caught. I told my sister not to tell my parents but I need tips on how to lie. |

Question: Why is my r*tarded mom such a b*tch? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 08:26 AM PDT I asked her that if I cleaned my room if I could go get Ben and jerry, she said sure. When I finished she said I could only have my ice cream if I ate my Brussel sprouts even though I don't like them. I threw the entire crackpot full of the fancy soup my mom worked on all day on the floor and began screaming for my Ben and Jerry. Guess what? Now my mom is giving my Ben and Jerry to my "better behaved" little sister and I had to clean up the soup off the floor while my mom was in her room sobbing. Can you believe her? Ugh. |
Question: In parenting time disputes, how big of a deal is it that you share a room with your child? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 08:16 AM PDT I rent a two-bedroom house that I share with my mother. I also have an 8 year old son, who stays with me for the summer and every other weekend during the school year. My son is 8. Because of the size of the house (600 square feet), we share a room. I have a double bed and he has a twin. My son's father has primary custody for a few reasons. One reason being that son has has his own space there. The other reasons (such as my behavior and lack of employment) has improved. When I brought my improvement up in court previously and asked for more time, I was granted some. But it's still not equal. The judge said the factors still favor my ex. But I didn't ask about specifics on what factor/ what that meant bc I was a little intimidated. I'm not going to be able to provide son with his own space in our house. I can't afford it. I don't have the money to get a lawyer. So I was wondering: Does it really make that big of a difference to a judge that I share a room with my son? And that his father has a room for him over there? If so, why is it a big deal? I think it's better to do that then for me to overexert my budget and be homeless again. But I do also want more time with my son. And it's not as simple as asking his Dad for more time. He'll fight me every step of the way. He doesn't think that people can learn from their mistakes. I'm not sure what to do. |

Question: What are some crazy overprotective brother stories that you have? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 06:19 AM PDT I am just bored right now but all of my questions are true so anyway I am a guy and the youngest in my family and all of my big brothers are jocks and so am i.Two play soccer, one plays basketball, the other is a track star, one is a car mechanic, and I am a baseball player/bodybuilder/ thaikick boxer and I have two more older brothers but I don't see them as much. Well anyway all of my older brothers are very protective of me especially when I want to date. The reason why is because they have all had relationships that ended badly and they told me they don't want me having the same bad experience. Also if anyone tries to bully me they will defend me and they will beat the butts. They are well over 6'4 and even though I am 5'4 I still get plenty of girls wanting me. Another reason why they are protective of me is that when I was little I almost died and had to get a pretty serious surgery when I was 8 and then I gained weight and became obese and was bullied. But since I joined some sports I lost a lot of weight. What is your experience? |
Question: Don't feel comfortable around my stepmom at all? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 06:07 AM PDT My dad, God bless him, has made a lot of confusing decisions in his life. He and my mom had me at 15, married her at 18, divorced at 21. He's 40 and recently married a 25 year old blonde, blue eyed girl. It's not that she's mean, she's a very sweet, bubbly girl, but, it's just very weird to me that my " stepmom" is my age. I just don't have much interest in being around them, it's just too odd and on top of that she calls m sweetie and honey. Do I need to overcome this? She's just trying to be sweet and hardly ever references that she's married to my dad or whatever, it's just weird that my " stepmom" is basically my age. Heck, I'm almost 26 and she turned 25 in Feb. |
Question: Suicide vs running away? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 05:53 AM PDT I'm not being abused, so don't worry. It's just I hate college and really don't want to go there anymore. I don't know how I'd tell my parents, so these are my options currently. I've told my mom about my feelings towards college and she has conflicting opinions. She'll literally tell me to just deal with it and then come back an hour later and say I can do whatever. So I don't know. I just waste time now. Running away might act as a fresh start to me. |
Question: Do my cousins (kids) look up to me as a older sister? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 05:33 AM PDT They dont have older sister. One is 7 year old girl and other was 3 year old girl. I was 13, and they grew a bit clingy over the weeks they visited. We watched Kung Fu Panda on TV and the 3 year old sat on my lap. I let them watch Barbie Rapunzel and Barbie Pegasus, and the 7 year old was trying to impress me and copied me. Their 13 year old bro though, he scoffs at me. I made a funny Petzshop video and he laughed a little. But then their mom (she is immature and insecure) told them to call me fat. Even though the 7 year old girl called me fat 30 times she still look up to me. |

Question: Why parents always fight even though they are separated? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 04:12 AM PDT My parents are separated and I honestly believe they get the family to meet up just so they can fight and ruin our family outings? I'm 20 years old and i don't even like to meet up with them anymore. If you hate each other that much why do you make plans together? |
Question: I don't think I like my half sister? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 04:11 AM PDT okay I know this will sound very stupid... but I don't like my 4 year old half sister and guess what? I'm 21. I used to live with my father, mother and my older brother whom I all love but I was a bit distant with dad anyway. Now when I turned 15 he made things worse and I discovered that he'd been cheating on my mum for 7 years. He isn't actually a BAD guy but he's really stupid. a year after I've discovered his affair he actually married the woman and a year later he brought us an infant and just said hey here's your half sister you will raise her. my MUM ended up raising hee cause the other woman is too busy working. the first two years when she couldn't talk properly I actually loved her. but now I can feel like my dad is preferring her and her mum over us. its like he CHOSE his family. now why I actually don't like her is because she treats us like we're her maids. she can do all she wants and IF she did something wrong and we yell at her she tells dad. and we end up as the bad guys even though we're not. Yesterday I scolded her for yelling at MY mum and she told me that if I ever yell at her again, "her dad" will destroy our home? I heard that from a 4 year old?! I'm beginning to notice that she doesn't really treat us as her family. and that she acts as if Dad is only HER dad and we're just "the other people" I am over exaggerating? |
Posted: 06 Jun 2016 03:36 AM PDT So, my boyfriend and I have been living with my parents for a little over 2 months now since we are waiting to be approved for a house. Well, he goes to work at 5am and I had the keys to his car. I heard him try to come in my room but he left and went to the garage. Well he came back in and as I was leaving the restroom he saw me. Naked. I feel really awkward since this is his house and I'm sleeping in the same room with my boyfriend. I don't know what to do! Should I try to forget about it or bring it up? I'm so embarrassed. |

Question: Was my mom cheating on my dad? I think she did.? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 02:34 AM PDT It has been a year already since my mom and dad divorced. My dad cheated and left. However, this question has been really bothering me. Did my mom cheat too? My dad was cheating on my mom for 9 years when I was 8 years old. I am now 17. 5 years ago I was walking to the kitchen when my mom's phone lit up. I got a quick glance you know, just kinda surprised me. I read a text message that said: Did you think about having sex with me those 3 nights you stayed with me? Now a week before this, my mom told the family about a friend of her's being in the hospital and she was gonna go stay with her. Turns out her friend was not even in the hospital, so where did mom go? After reading this message, I opened the phone to get more info but my mom was coming. I quickly closed it, then my mom got mad and went full nuts trying to find who had looked through her phone. Anyways I left it alone until about 2 months ago when I confronted mom about it and she denied that she ever cheated. Claiming she never lies to her own children (me and my brothers). I have caught her lying though. Like she would leave late at night and if I caught her she would make excuses, if I backed her onto the corner, I would be punished unless I stopped. She gets mad whenever anyone uncovers a truth about her. My mom is also friends with a lot of her high school boyfriends, my grandma told me. What do you guys think? I think both my mom and dad are filth if I am right. Neither should act high and mighty. Well it is pretty damn impossible to get involved when it affects you. Plus my dad talked **** about me which got me mad and I got involved now. I admit it was stupid to join in the fray but if I stay out I'll just be taking hits without throwing them back at whoever is hitting me. |
Question: Im not sure if I m being abused and here is why...? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 02:06 AM PDT Im an 11 year old girl, turning 12 soon. My parents send me to a good private school, we have a nice house, and I wear nice clothes. But sometimes when my moms frustrated with me she takes it out on me physically. She hits me, slaps me, and whips. I have bled twice and had to make up an excuse at school for why i was bleeding. The first time, she was taking me to school and was really mad about something i did and continuously slapped me in the face until she slapped me so hard my head hit the car door window. The second time (also in the car) she kept hitting me in the face till i bled and my face was numb She also got so mad at me once that she got a long bendy stick from outside and whipped my whole body. she made me pull down my underwear so it would hurt more and it defiantly did. It was probably the worst thing she ever did to me. She s also whipped me with cables, hangers, and combs too but they didn t hurt as bad. she also threatens me or calls me names only sometimes . Whe she s mad She calls me an idiot, but thats not a problem. Something she says"Sometimes I just want to wring your neck!" Iv tried confronting her when i was a couple years younger but my choice of words weren t the best. But i feel bad because i feel like so many people would love to have everything i have and all the things my parents provide me. And apart from that me and my mom are connected like friends. I really have no idea what to do and would appreciate anyones help..... Thanks |
