Question: My parents hate me.? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 01:12 PM PDT With them I've never felt important or I'm worth it,I've never been hugged by them or consoled by them..they've never even given me a valuable advice but what hurts me the most is the fact that they don't give a **** about anything I have to say, they always cut me in the middle of my speech and start yelling their opinion so they can force it into me,they don't even consider that what I'm saying might be right. My mom always tell me that I'm her least favorite also when my sisters come over dad gets so excited and happy and try to have discussions with them when tbh my sisters don't even care.I've been suffering with depression for the past 7 years and sometimes I have these rare moments of happiness and I become so bubbly and talk a lot but my mom always cuts me down telling me that I sound stupid.I've been trying for years tbh to understand them but I realised that self-absorbed and selfish and cruel people is everything they gonna ever be I can't wait to be independent but for now what do u think I should do to cope with them? |

Question: What do I do with an annoying brother? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 12:54 PM PDT Bear with me, I have a lot to say. I am currently 13 years old going into 8th grade My brother is 11 and going into 6th (middle school) So, my brother is not handsome (I'm sorry I know I sound really mean but it's true) but somehow he is full of friends. He acts very nice in a fake way around them. He bugs me and makes fun of the fact that I have only a small group of friends that I really enjoy, though more friends would be nice. He doesn't deserve his friends. I'm really low on self esteem right now. I don't feel pretty. I don't get many compliments saying I'm pretty. I'm going through anxiety/depression. I have to see a counselor once every two or three weeks. If you think I should tell my parents, that's where you're wrong. He's eleven and my mom still treats him like a baby. He enjoys kissing my parents and sitting on my mom's lap. Whenever I complain about him, my parents ignore me because he's a devil hiding in an angel's suit. There has been many more incidents that have happened, but that would be too long of a list. (Taking my food, purposefully crying like a baby, etc.) I'm just worried about him that he will never grow up, get married, have kids. I think people might respect him less if he keeps acting like this. I just don't know what to do! My brother is so loved for talent he doesn't even have, and when I work my butt off, and do a good job, I don't even get recognised. |

Question: Please help! Any advice is appreciated..? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 12:36 PM PDT I am a step mother of a 4 year old. My husband and I have had multiple issues with his ex which is most likely going to happen once another woman is in the picture. Now, for about 1 year now, my step son has shown so much resentment towards me and only me, in which I have tried very hard to put an end to. When he is here at our home, he tells me things like "mommy doesn t like you" "you re bad" "i hate you" and now apparently his mother is telling us that he is saying that i punch him in the face, i kick him out of the bedroom when his father leaves for work. I refuse to even go near her, so talking together with the son is out of the picture. I don t have to do something I don t want to do. But I need to put an end to this. |
Question: How do i break my daughter out of the habits and behaviors her father influenced? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 12:21 PM PDT Im getting my daughter back after 3 years of being separated from her due to her father (he set me up and i was forced to leave). She is temporary staying with my mom but we're discovering a lot of behavioral issues that got us worried. Her father basically taught her nothing. she's having trouble with her numbers and letters, she's hitting, spitting, bitting and kissing on other kids. she also has a little attitude every now and then but i kinda expect that. My mom and i feel that she picked up a lot of behaviors from the male roommates her father had. we also discovered that she was never around any kids her age and mainly around adults so she tend to rough house and nearly hurt my younger siblings. when i confronted her father about what we discovered he acted all surprised and gave me bunch of bullshit excuses. he's not taking any responsibility of what he's exposed our daughter to. So my question is what are the best ways to break my daughter out of these habits and help her have good behavior. she actually a very sweet girl but she doesn't understand that what she learned from dad and his friends is wrong. i plan to get her into some fun activities cause she's very active but i dont want her to be kicked out of everything because of her behavior. and no im not planing on spanking her because it doesn't work, it makes the situation worse. i look forward to your advice, thank you! |

Question: I hate summer school so much? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 12:09 PM PDT Hello, I am a 14 year old male, today was the first day of summer school at my new high school. I only had to take one class. (Health class) right when I walk into the classroom I hear a group of guys sitting in the back laughing and pointing at me saying racist comments. (They are all mexicans, im white) I am like the only white person at that school. I had to stay in that classroom for 4 hours and hear racist, homophobic comments. I was alone the whole day. I had to give up my seat to some bully. My parents are making me do this. They want me to take summer school, I dont want to deal with this until July 13th. Whos right me or my parents? Dont you think they should let me stop going since these people are bullying me? |
Question: Idk whats going on with my mom.? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 12:08 PM PDT This might sound really stupid but I'm really stressed out and confused over it. My mom woke me up at 9 in the morning and started screaming at the top of her lungs at me. I was more than half asleep so I said "what?!" and she just got really pissed and started screaming something else that I could barley understand. So when I wake five minutes later and go out into the kitchen to get some breakfast. She starts in on it again and is yelling at me stating that I cant eat any food all day. I asked why and she said its because I ate one of my brothers little microwave meals! I had no idea they where his meals. There was no name written on them and he had never even mentioned that they were his and they have been in the freezer for more than a month now...so I ate it for lunch. But today after the incident at 9 my mom wont talk to me and when she does she screams! just cuz I ate some **** from the freezer the other day. God I cant wait to move out but I'm only 16. And not to mention that my mom acts like this a lot. but never this bad. I though maybe she is on her period but she really acts like this all the time. Its just today she is obnoxiously bad. I don't know what to do! She wont talk to me unless its through screaming. |
Question: I did all my chores each week and i don't get rewarded that much? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 12:05 PM PDT i need $400 at the end of summer for my back to school supplies, clothes, etc. last year, i did little chores (all i did was wash dishes and do laundry) and i got $10 a week. i spoke with my dad and asked him if i can get $30 a week, to get around $400 and he said "you would have to do way more chores than you do usually" and i said ok. so every sunday he gives puts a list of stuff to do on the fridge and i do them like either clean your brothers bathroom or fold the laundry, etc. i ended up getting $70 dollars but the thing is, its been like 2 months(started at the beginning of may) already and i have gotten like $10 a week. I have 8 weeks (since i need one week before school starts to buy everything i need). so how would this work out? **sidenote: i sound stubborn, sorry** |
Question: My mom dresses inappropriately, what should I, do? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 12:04 PM PDT Hi, I m a 16 year old guy and my mom is 49. I really love her and she is very nice and cool but she dresses quite inappropriately. For example, she wears short skirts, tight dresses and and really low cleavage. Whever we are on vacation she wears bikinis. I know she is a grown woman and can do what she wants with her body, but it really embarasses me, especially when I am around my friends because her parts have well... sagged a bit to say the least. What should I do? Btw, my dad and her have been married fot almost 25 years but my dad usually doesn t go on vacation with us because he works. |
Posted: 09 Jun 2016 11:31 AM PDT I work at a convenience store. I have this goofy little prank I like to play at work. Whenever someone asks for directions, I always send them to the bad part of town, haha. We have some really unsafe neighborhoods out past the viaduct, it's just a funny joke. Anyway, this guy came in 2 days ago and I did that, then that night he was on the news, I guess he got carjacked and he was shot. I feel kinda bad, because he wouldn't have been down there if it wasn't for me. Plus the news story was talking about how the guys wife died a few months ago and he's a single Dad. I was thinking about going to the funeral and giving his kid $25. I don't have a lot of money but it's just a way to say sorry you got a rough deal kid, sorry about your dad and all, buy yourself something fun, you know. I feel a little bad. Would it be inappropriate to go? |

Question: How do I overcome my fear of conflict with mother if I displease her? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 10:33 AM PDT I am 31 and fear conflict with my mother if I displease her. For example, I am picking my Dad's family over hers for a family event in September where both family events fall at the same time. My mother is furious and I am dreading the conflict. Another example is at holidays when I do both families instead of just her (she wants me to only see her and her family Christmas Day and see my Dad later). These conflicts hurt me because they cause me anxiety. How do I learn to get over this fear and just say "too bad, grow up" if she is mad? |
Question: How do you make your life simpler? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 10:32 AM PDT I feel so overwhelmed all the time. Lately, I've been getting rid of stuff in my home that I don't need. I'm riding a lot of things. What other ways can I make my life simpler? We live in such a busy world. I'd rather not live like that. I want to simplify my life. |
Question: Is laziness a sickness? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 10:24 AM PDT My brother in law is the laziest person in the world. If he drops food he will look at it and continue eating. I could go on. |
Question: Why can't all parents just belive their daughters are perfect little princesses forever? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 10:08 AM PDT Parents tell young girls stuff they want to hear like they are a little princess, they will marry prince charming when they get older etc. I too got stuff like that when I was younger I am never allowed to dress sexy if there is a guy around! So we are a group of friends, and it feels like every time we go to the cafe at the mall to look after guys, we allways get an unwanted "safety guard", think like one of our parents just allways happens to be close to our cafe and make every hottie aware he/she is a dad/mom and know the parents to the of us too! 👺 Why can't they just think that we are innocent, pure asexual princesses? |
Question: My younger sister ALWAYS steals my stuff? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 10:02 AM PDT I am fourteen and I have a little sister whom is eleven.. lets call her Julia. She is the most annoying person on the planet! she steals all of my things. An example: Yesterday I was studying in my room and she barges into my room and demands I let her use my iPod. (I was listening to music at the time) I said that as soon as I was finished she could. She shrieks that I suck and takes my phone instead and locks herself in her room. Its like that all the time! I have a macbook air that I saved up for for ages and she takes that all the time. My parents have the philosophy that we have to save up for everything ourselves or earn the money. Because its so slim its easy to hide and I need it for school! My phone is also taken constantly. The last electronic I have is an iPod nano, which is also very easy to hide she takes that as well. There are time that she has taken all three at once. My parents buy her whatever she wants no question but she has to have the things that I earned. She takes my clothes, tops jeans shoes. She hasn't gotten her period yet but she steals my TAMPONS. And either hides them or throws them away. I don't have a lot of makeup but she takes that the most. I am very happy to lend things to her and I do all the time but she takes everything and HIDES it. I have a bed a desk with no drawers and a closet. I can't lock anything away and she has even found my diary. I had written very private stuff there. I don't care about the other stuff but its my diary that was the final straw. My parents don't care or do anything but if I take something of hers she freaks out and cries and I get grounded by my parents! I am Just so SICK of this. Help? and suggestions on what I can do? |
Question: How to I get my sister to stop taking my stuff? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 10:00 AM PDT Stories (don't have to read) [[[She's 15 and constantly takes my stuff. I left for a trip for 3 days and when I came back all my video games were gone and in her room, like 40 games just on the floor, some weren't in their cases just sitting upside down on top. I bought all those games my self and she had been playing them with her stupid friends. Some of those games were expensive! If she would have asked I would have let her borrow some of them that I didn't care about very much. She even borrowed my PSP and brought it to a friends house. That was $150 when I bought it! She let her choir teacher borrow my copy of Les Miserables. Again, without asking. I still haven't even got it back! I left the house to spend some time with my boyfriend and when I came back she was wearing one of my best tank tops that I have been saving for the summer. It's a shirt that stretched easy and she's fatter than me, to make it worst, she slept in it that night! Now it's stretched out and the sleeves are all messed up. All that has happened in just the past 6 days. It's been getting a lot worst. Before; she has used up my make-up all the time and doesn't give it back when I ask for it. She doesn't even have the same skin tone as me, she's a ginger (probably got it from our grandma) and I'm not. I have a dress with boning in it that forms to your body, so the dress fit me great. She borrowed it to go to a Halloween party with some friends and because she's bigger than me, it now only fits her body and won't even form to me. She ruined that dress! SHe has some black dresses, I don't see why she couldn't wear that! She cut up a pair of MY pants to my shorts Have have a cute sweater with trimming on the ends of the sleeves. She wore it to school on day and gave and the trimming came off. I used to have a shirt (because she ruined it!) that was really pretty and white and had lace on it. It was a really nice shirt so I only wore it on special occasions. She started wearing it to school and stained it and stretched it out! She didn't ask my permission to do any of these things!]]] _______________________________________________________ I have tried everything to make her stop! I can't lock my door, none of the doors on the inside of my house lock, not even the bathroom doors! When I tell her to stop she just says "I can do what ever I want" or "you can't tell me what to do" Even though I'm older than her she's taller than me and thinks that because she's taller she has more power over me and can do what ever she want. My parents are totally out of the picture- she asks my mom if it's okay if she borrows my stuff and she lets her! My mom goes into my room and gives her stuff to borrow!! When I tell my mom that she can borrow it she just says "When was the last time you wore that shirt?" HOW CAN I MAKE HER STOP BORROWING MY THINGS! SHE'S BEEN RUINING THEM! |
Question: Why does my mom keep moving my stuff all over the place? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 09:49 AM PDT I don't why the hell she does this but it drives me absolutely f***ing crazy My room will be in a perfectly fine order, then out of the blue my mom will decide to do some spring cleaning every other week, even when it's not spring and move all my things around. Then when I can't find my things she starts talking down on me about how disorganized I am.. WTF? If you wouldn't stop touching my stuff I would KNOW where everything is, because I'm not always moving everything. Is my mother psychotic? I can't even talk to her about this because if I say anything that makes it sound even like I'm blaming her for something.. even SLIGHTLY she'll flip out on me. I don't know what to do. I want her to stop touching my things and stop interfering with the order of everything. I am NOT a messy person. Telling her not to rearrange my room won't work either, because she'll just "forget" and do it a few weeks later.. Ugh. I think she either hates me or is psycho Help |
Question: How long do Viagogo tickets take to arrive? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 09:45 AM PDT I have bought tickets almost a month ago off Viagogo, because they had been sold out everywhere else and I was desperate. It just makes me feel unsafe knowing I wont have the tickets until then. |

I get along just fine with the 12 year old and the 7 year old. The oldest of the three just hates me. We've been living together since March and not once have we had a pleasant encounter. I'll try just simple things. " Good morning" for example is just met with a blank stare. Why the surliness? |
Question: Husband wants to separate and wife is begging him to stay? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 09:28 AM PDT my brother has been trying to separate from his wife for several weeks. They have been married for 9 years and have no kids. He's had to beg for sex and affection for pretty much the entire marriage and he no longer wants to work on things. Also he wanted kids, the wife said she did too and after they got married she showed no interest in getting pregnant. He feels so bad and says she's a nice person and he really cares about her. every day she is begging and crying and trying to guilt him into giving her "one more chance". He is done though. I hate seeing him waste his life and i fear he's going to succumb to her emotional pleas. How can I help him? |

Question: How can I control my daughters cell phone usage? They are 14 and 11. Advice please...? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 09:06 AM PDT Hi! My husband walked in to my 14 year old daughter s room to kiss her good bye this morning and she was under a blanket without her bra with her phone in her hand. What can she possibly be doing? We are so scared she is sending her naked pictures via snapchat/text. I need to have a talk with her, but for sure she won t tell me the truth. Hubby is freaking out and wants me to talk to her. How should I deal with this? Now my 11 year-old daughter had her phone taken away about 5 moths ago because I found some profanities on her Instagram account. I mean it was extremely sexual and nasty. She said she created that account with a friend that she met on Instagram, and it wasn't her who said those bad words. I was crying and shaking when reading those words. She hasn't had that phone for 5 months now. I really don't know what else to do. She was punished for it, so now that it has been 5 months I am wondering if that's a good enough punishment and I was thinking of giving her phone back. Should I do that? I am just puzzled and don't know what to do. The world is so different now compared to when I was their age. Moms and Dads with teens, please help... Thank you! |

Question: Should I tell my dad to put a lock on my door? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 08:54 AM PDT I'm 17 years old and just graduated high school. During my freshmen year in high school, I got involved with some bad things, such as hooking up with guys. My parents were enraged and they took away every electronic device I had, and I didn't get it back until my junior year. They also took off a lock from my door so that I could never lock it. However, now I'm going to college and I'm still going to be living at home because I'm going to community college. I just want to get passed everything that happenend in high school and I don't want to be reminded of it and I really want a lock on my door for some reasons like when I change. So what should I say to get a lock back on? |
Posted: 09 Jun 2016 08:53 AM PDT So my step sister p.s she's 17 and I'm 16has recently moved in with us and I'm honestly still adjusting to her living with me and my mom you know it's kind of weird having an extra person on the dinner table and someone else to take longer in the bathroom every morning little things like that.Im coming home from practice and hoping in the shower and she completely just barged into the bathroom and started peeing. That was thebeginning but the other day I was playing ball and came home and she was masturbating on my bed itsweird because I've just only recently met her and she didn't notice me see her then this morning I wake up and were home alone bc my mom works and I go into the bathroom with my toothbrush to get ready for the day and she was walking around the house with only a pair of socks on and I in all honesty got reallyhard from this. but I have a girl and in my head thinking about any other girl in that type of way is disrespectful to my girlfriend so I stayed away from it and closed the door so when I finished in the bathroom she was in her room and she screams made you food so I eat and head to my room to get ready for practice and she walks into my room still naked and locks the door and tried to make out with me and I refused and pushed her to the side. please don't bring up any porn references my friends made a huge joke of this scenario and I'm very loyal to my girlfriend since we've been together for 2 years and I don't want anyone else. What do I do? 😐 |
Question: Mom freaking out over college.? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 08:42 AM PDT I picked out my College, and am even staying home since I'm not too far. However, my Mom is freaking out, telling me how my schedule is going, forcing me to go see counselors when I have no reason to, then she lectures me on the same exact topic everyday, gets upset at me, and says "do you even understand how serious this is". I say yes, it'll be alright, I'm fine, and then she starts yelling at me saying I don't take hers seriously and that I'm a little brat. How do I go about this? |
Question: Who Wants To Listen To A Twelve Year Old Talk? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 08:42 AM PDT Hi, my family has sort of been struggling financially over the years, and as I ve been growing up I ve been wanting things that aren t necessarily essential or "on trend." I don t want to pester my parents about it, so I want to find my own income. I ve been wanting to start a YouTube channel for a while now, but it just occured to me; who would want to listen to a twelve year old rant? (But you re doing it now, right?) It would get no views, I d probably get hate comments, and if anyone from school stumbled across my channel, I d be embarrassed to death. So I guess in a way, my real question is, if you were forced to listen to a fairly mature twelve year old talk, would you? And what would you say she talk about? |
Question: I don't know how to go on in life? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 08:28 AM PDT I'm 15 and I have no social life because I'm always babysitting, I have an older brother who helps but I'm always getting in trouble because he feels stressed and everyone gets upset that i want to hang with friends, not to mention that he's moving out next year so soon my only help so i can enjoy life a bit will be gone, he's not even staying in the state. I feel like this was the absolute worst time to have more kids because they're so young and all the older helping hands are leaving, and in 3 years when I'm old enough to move out (which i will be because this house is packed) I'm trying to move to a beautiful affordable town 4 and a half hours away from where we are now. I feel extremely tied down because my little half siblings will only be 5 and 8 in 3 years from now, still so young and missing me, still needing a baby sitter. |
Question: How to I tell my dad this without making him FLIP? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 08:26 AM PDT I just cracked my iPhone 5S while doing parkour/exercise outside. He has some trouble controlling his anger and I don t blame him now. How do I tell him, because he s eventually going to find out. |
Question: Am I wrong for not going out of town to my dads family? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 08:14 AM PDT Here's the thing I graduated from high school May 19 and my dads family didn't send me jack ****! They didn't come to my graduation. They didn't even call to say anything! My dad is also always giving them money and everything. And every time we go down there he pays for everything. My mom told me not to go. And I agree, why the hell should I go down there when they couldn't even call me for my graduation? They went to the beach a week after I graduated. The rest of my family at least sent me stuff in the mail and came to my graduation. Only one member on that side only said congrats on FACEBOOK when I posted a picture in my cap and gown. My dad is now asking me what happened and I just told him I don't feel like going. And he keeps asking me if I'm going!! So am I wrong? And please don't say maybe they're going to give me something or say something when I get down there. Because I know that's false! This is weeks after I graduated. They have been knowing about my graduation for years! |
Question: It is my 16th bday today and my mum and sister don't care at all.? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 07:07 AM PDT I am not trying to be conceited but I don't why this is making me feel really sad. When my dad lived with us I would have a birthday dinner and stuff. I now live with mum and 18yr old sis, I walked in sis room today smiling and all she said was "I know it's your bday but they're too expensive so get füücked". And then I saw my mumma later and she just said "go away I'm busy you lil cû**nt. Like the night is almost over and they honeslty didn't care. Even a 'happy birthday' or a card would be appreciated. This ever happen to you? I just hoped they would be a little nicer, exepceially just for today. |
Question: How do i make my older sister put her clothes in the laundry basket? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 07:00 AM PDT My older sister is the hugest brat when it comes to this. She literally NEVER puts her clothes in the laundry basket and she is already 16! The basket is right outside the bathroom too, but instead she always dumps her clothes on the floor. We have maids that do our laundry for us, so all she needs to do is put her clothes in the basket, which she refuses to do. When I tell her to, she says, "Well, the maids will put the clothes in the basket for me later anyway, so what's the point? We have maids for a reason." Sure they will do it for her if she doesn't, but if possible she should help lighten the workload, right? I don't know what to do, my mom never cares enough to scold her and she barely ever listens to me because I'n younger. This situation is annoying the heck out of me. |
Question: How would you spell it? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 06:47 AM PDT Amiyah (a-my-a) or Amya (a-my-a) |

Question: My uncle is using FAKE pictures of children and saying it is his kids? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 06:22 AM PDT I have met my cousins. Oldest one is 13, middle is 7, and youngest was less than 5. I have seen what they look like, but on face book, the pictures of his "children" did not look like his children AT ALL! His children are considered ugly. The middle was 7 years old (we were invited to her birthday), but on Facebook he said that she was 9. She had curly long hair (I SAW with my own eyes), but on is face book the girl had short straight hair and did not resemble his real daughter AT ALL! Same for his youngest child! The face is not the same! |

Question: Why would a 7 year old girl be jealous of a 13 year old? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 05:44 AM PDT My 7 year old is aggressive with me for some reason and she stalks me too. I mean cousin. My 7 year old cousin. |
Posted: 09 Jun 2016 05:14 AM PDT Its gonna happen. Again. And it makes me feel really sad. I can see my friends maybe 2 times, because they are away constantly. I cant be in bed all day because my dad gets angry, since he works from home. I have to be fairly quiet because hes working, mom goes away for work. I cant put a lot of pressure on my right rib, since I got hit by a car a month ago so Its still sore. So I cant jump on a trammpoline or do gymnastics or swim. Im losing weight so I cant cook or bale anything. I just have nothing to do. And I cant even cry because my dad is home all the time. What do I do? |
Question: How can I get my other siblings to start taking some responsibility and driving? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 05:05 AM PDT I am the oldest of 6 kids and I am the only one that drives out of my siblings. I am always there to take action whenever a emergency happens in our family or if someone is in a jam. But for my sister who is 23 yrs old and the 2nd oldest, to not want to drive because she says she is too nervous, that excuse to me is getting really old although; I understand these things take time but, I am getting to the point where i have had some minor nervous breakdowns and i dont think they understand how much stress is put on me from being the only doing everything. Like for instance, our mom has been in the hopsital the last two weeks. First week she had a minor stroke and i was there. Then i even picked her up from the hospital the next day when they released her. Yesterday she had a catheter ablation surgery and I was there. And, today I will be the one following up with her and the doctors on her recovery and everything. All I'm trying to say from all of this is it would just be nice if I got some assistance and hear them say for once " like Megan you do a lot or since you we're there last time , this time let us be there instead", or something. If I was an only child things would be alot easier but they aren't. And I just feel like I'm alone inside. |
Posted: 09 Jun 2016 04:56 AM PDT She and her sister are at odds so I am being instructed not to see her sister or her sister's kids. I like her sister (my aunt) and her kids (my cousins). I try not to tell my mother when I see them as I live on my own but she always finds out through my grandmother who is neutral in the sisters dispute. My grandmother says it very innocently in terms of just "oh we saw your son today". |
Posted: 09 Jun 2016 04:50 AM PDT I was hyperactive through ADHD and this was 20 years ago but my uncle would always say, just pop him on the buttom or he won't learn. The uncle smacked his 3 kids sometimes though one is now drug addicted (not sure if there is a connection). So is it good to smack a kid or is this child abuse? My mother did not but I was eleven before I grew out of randomly running around making nonsense noises. |

Question: Why do children always cry and whine when they don't get what they want? How to stop it? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 04:39 AM PDT My daughter is almost 3 and she always cries and whines when she doesn't get what she wants. When she immediately gets it, she stops crying and sometimes laugh it off like nothing happened. I want to teach her that she can't always get what she want especially at that moment. My aunt, mom, and dad always watches her when I am busy. I feel like they are always treating her like a princess by buying her her favorite food especially my aunt. They give it to her all the time and even when it reaches her limit for the day, they still give it to her just because she cries and whines. They also always let her us the iPad or phone to watch YouTube which is really bad for her eyes. I don't want her to use glasses at a young age. When I'm at home and she see's me using the iPad, she will come up to me and say she wants to watch her favorite cartoon and whines when she doesn't get to. I told my aunt, mom and dad not to treat her like a princess all the time because she needs to learn and it's for her own good, but I don't think they seem to listen. When I'm around it is so much better because they know I don't like it. Because this happened, it made me think why they cry and whine. How can I teach her not to cry and whine so much? |

Question: Should I have a filter? I just felt like I needed to type this in? Posted: 09 Jun 2016 04:10 AM PDT While it's true that I haven't had too much company over the last couple of years, I've been getting lots of signs that I probably shouldn't anyway. After a certain age it felt as though I was probably never going to get along with people. My parents have given me signs time and time again that maybe I'm not cut out for that. I have a difficult enough time with my parents anyway. This year in particular has just been a basket for bad memories. My mother has had a dispute with me every other day. My father doesn't do it as much, but when he does, he really brings you down. The constant fights with my mother have been mainly because of the depressing days that I've had. This year has been quite a battle. It's pretty obvious that the world today isn't really that much fun, and I'm still doing all kinds of exercises to try and treat negative thinking. I still kind of avoid my parents whenever I can because my mother has been really nasty this year. My father has always been like that. Particularly over the last couple of years I've been brought down by things around me. Should I have a filter when it comes to people? |
Posted: 09 Jun 2016 04:04 AM PDT After my parents my mom and I went to live with her mother and brother (he hates animals), so Chip remained with my father. I went to spend time with him whenever I could on weekends and hollidays because I missed him baddly and my father worked for most of the day and Chip was all alone. About two years ago my father developed an alergy so I took Chip to my fathers' parents place and stayed with him. My grandmother never said a word, but she also never showed consent. Since then I would take Chip for a walk every day making little changes necessary only due to the weaknes of his heart. Despite that Chip had a well appetite and was always eager to go outside. I even managed to convince my mom to take Chip to the garden we have outside the city and Chip was most happy there. He was no more alone for long since I work at home. On december I fell seriously ill and had dangerously high temperature. My mom took me and Chip and we stayed there because my fathers mother did not want Chip back. Just before New Year Chip developed Osteoporosis and it became more and more difficult for him to walk. After proper treatment Chip recovered a bit but not fully. We went for a walk each day he ate well. Before going away I asked my father to look after him for those two days (he changed his work and spends more time at home). On our way home we received a message that Chip passed in his sleep in bed next to my father with no signs of dying. I will never forgive myself for going away. :'( :'( * After my parents divorced... Is it my fault? |
