Every weekend is the same. My birthdays only consist of family. Never friends. Haven't been to parties or hang outs because I cannot make friends I'm recently finished my first year of community college. Didn't make friends. And I do talk, but people don't really seem interested in being friends with me. I'm have no girlfriend, never had. Still a virgin. And now it's summer. It's summer and I certainly don't want to stay home everyday. It'll only make my sadness even worse. Might become suicidal if I do. I was thinking about getting a job. Should I? Where should I start? I have no prior experience and I have no good social skills obviously. Advice? I'm really just sad and lost right now. Feel like my loniness is permanent. |

A few weeks ago, my mom has been going out until late at night with a girl she works with (Brittany). She and Brittany never used to hang out that much (maybe once every 3 months, at most) and when they did hang out, my mom would invite me. Well, my mom hasn't been inviting me lately. I don't really care that much, my mom is allowed to have friends, that's no big deal to me. Yesterday, I was watching over my mom texting a number that wasn't saved in her phone. The person was telling her "We're through," "It's over," We can't do this," etc. and my mom was responding "No, please don't do this," "I want to fix it," "I'm so sorry," "I'm by your house, I can stop by in a little bit," etc. Then, she caught me reading over her shoulder and acted all silly like nothing happened and didn't explain the situation, which is what she would've normally done all the other times she's caught me reading over her shoulder (again, we're close so she tells me about all of her and her friends' drama). And THEN, after she went back to texting, she turned so that I couldn't see any more. People have been telling me to confront her about it and others have been saying that I should just turn a blind eye. Why I can't confront her: she would lie about it and turn it around to make me feel like a horrible person. Why I can't leave it alone: my dad doesn't deserve that. I was skyping with my friend and then I left for like 5 minutes to use the bathroom and get some snacks, leaving the skype call on Then when I came back, my friend asked if I was in the room just a moment ago and when I told her I wasn't she said that she heard some low growling coming from my mic Our webcams weren't turned on so she obviously didn't see anything, but she told me it sounded like a dog growling and it lasted for about a minute After that, nothing happened for like a week, until tonight I was skyping with another friend, one that didn't know about the last incident We were going to play some games and before that I went to quickly eat something, again leaving the skype on (this time we had our webcams on) During some time when I was eating, the call ended (that's normal with our shitty internet connection) but what isn't normal, is that a call came from my direction, which my friend answered to She told me it was quiet for a moment and she didn't see anything (the webcam was on) then my webcam went black (which, fyi, can't happen just like that) and she said she heard someone breathing in the mic (I don't have any siblings living at my house that could pull these kinds of pranks and **** and my parents never do that) After that I came back and my friend told me everything and I told her about the incident that happened week before Me and my friends are kind of creeped out, and can't explain this, I hope someone can |

But now summer is coming and I am dreading it. I don't go on vacations because we can't afford it. My mom works all the time and my dad lives across the country and hasn't talked to me in years. I am going to be home alone a lot this summer. My best friend always cheers me up and is the one person on this earth that makes me smile and want to keep living. But they are going to be away for a lot of the summer because they have a rich family and they go on vacation a lot. I have other friends but they are going away too. The more I think about summer the more sad I am because I know how much time I will have to spend alone and how long I will be away from the best friend that I once got to see six days a week. I didn't walk or talk until I was 5 years old, I was taken away 8-9 years old and 11-12 years old and 15-17 years old. I really tried my hardest to make friends, 8-16 I did softball and soccer and swim team and the YMCA and the boys and girls club, softball. I did summer camp and after school but still no one wanted to be my friend and I could never get why. I felt like a loser seeing everyone else with friends and I was alone.. It sucked being in high school for 4 years and being alone. I've only had my ex the last 6 years, I've volunteered been to groups and day programs but it's been the same thing over and over again. I feel like i am the only one who doesn't have friends to hang out with, guys want more than friends and I just want friends but I feel like I am destined to be alone. |

But there's this one weird guy in my class that makes me really uncomfortable. He is childish andtalks about weird **** and sex. On launch break he just disappears somwhere. Idk if I am overreacting because as a kid I watched a lot of horror movies and serial killer documentaries. I always thought he was super weird, but I never really bothered myself with it. The event that occured few days ago really triggered me. This guy, my friend and I were hanging out a bit. We were joking, and I think I teased him about ( not a big deal ), and he smiled and 'jokingly' said: " You should get chopped in tiny pieces". Because of my 'crazy people phobia' i grabbed him and started choking him ( not really though ). But at the end we had a few laughs and thats it. Am I going nuts or this guy actually is crazy ? |

Posted: 07 Jun 2016 01:45 PM PDT I recently started college and I commute to college, so I never party or really have any opportunities to smoke/drink. I've been drunk a couple times before and I've tried pot, but I don't really care for pot. My problem is that I'm bored a lot of the time and don't have a big choice in friends to hang out with, and a couple of my friends that are fun to hang with (they smoke/drink/party) are stoners. But since I'm not a stoner, they usually don't invite me to hangout because they get high pretty much every time they hang out and they know I don't smoke. And when I do see them, they're usually too high and end up canceling or going home. Or they'll text me last minute to make plans, and I'll already have plans, so I've had to deny them a lot, meaning they RARELY ask me to hang out. I feel bad about denying them, but I mean come on, text me at least the day before. I'm trying to convince myself that they're my friends so I should see them every now and then, but I honestly think the fact that they're stoners is making it impossible to be friends with them. Idk, the situation just makes me kind of pissed off. Has anyone else experienced something like this? |

I hang out with random people in the cafeteria in middle school and high school and there just acquaintances. Right now i'm 20 about to be 21 in couple months. I'm a bit racist towards people so it is even harder to make friends. Also i don't go out much at all ever since the gaming addiction started when i was a teenager. Now i'm actually starting to take a break since its summer. I'm also very introverted which i find sad. I suppose to look like an extroverted towards people but a lot of people have to be mean to me all the time so therefore i hate most people but not all. My life is truly a mess but i feel like now its the time to turn it around. It's hard to get a life when you also hate your jobs too. I work part time an less than 20 hrs a week.I don't know what to do now on where to make friends around my age. The only place i can think of is community college but its hard... |

Now, my friend is right. I didn't think the Penguins were going to do it but that's not what I'm unsure if to be offended by or not. It's the way the comment was put. During one of these blow ups she decided we shouldn t talk anymore, so I agreed that we should mutually move on from one another. Not even a week later she sent an apology and request for friendship, but frankly I am tired of her shenanigans and so I ignored it, hoping we could actually move our separate ways. However since then, she's sent even more emails and texts for about a year now at this point. I've forgiven her. And I've told her that numerous times. (I replied to her first few emails to try and give her closure). Beyond that I haven't spoken to her for about a year now, and she still sends apology email/texts. I told her also that I no longer wish to be friends and to leave me alone, but her emails still come, as do the text. I'm doing my best to ignore them , but they are quite irritating to keep having in my inbox. I'm not sure what else I can do. |

I went to a different school my eighth grade year and during that year she changed a lot. I came back so we could go to the same highschool together. She went from being my sweet best friend that I could talk to about anything to this girl who wants to get drunk and high at any and every opportunity. Problem is I m not like that. I m still a good girl like my younger self just kinda more mature I guess. We rarely hang out or even talk at all. The only time she really talks to me is if she just went through a breakup and needs somebody to tell her she ll b fine and there s always other people, or when she wants to brag about how drunk/high she got at some random persons house or party. Most of the time she insults me at any chance but swears it s in a joking way. I ve tried to make plans with her but she ll either say she s busy or make the plans and cancel last minute.....every time. I m just really over trying to be her friend and continue to try to save our friendship if she s just going to act like I mean nothing to her. I don t want to be her friend anymore but I don t want her to be mad or talk crap about me to her other friends and stuff. Advice? |

A fellow worker and friend ask me to go to her house and get a computer she bought on ebay working. When I got there, she was not home but her teenage daughter was. My guess is the daughter is about 16 years old. While I was working on the computer, the daughter's boyfriend came by. After a while, I heard noises from a bedroom and it was oblivious the daughter and boyfriend were having sex. After I completed getting the computer running I had to walk by the bedroom to leave. They were still having sex and did not see me as I left. I know I am NEVER going back to that house. One side of me says I should I just keep my mouth shut. What happened is none of my business. If I tell the mother, probably the daughter will deny she was having sex or say I wanted to have sex with her and then I am in big trouble. The other side of me says that if something is not done I predict my coworker is going to be a grandmother a lot sooner than she wants to be. Should I tell her what happened? She literally has been kicked out of all the homes she has ever lived in. Her dad kicked her out because he got married and the step mom did not want her there because she never listened to them. Well Ever since she has been living with me I have been driving her to work and to anywhere else she needs to go. But when she is at the house she never helps out I have to ask her to help, And when she does, she does a terrible job at it. She doesn't know how to cook nor clean, nor drive. She acts so childish that she always rubs her disgusting feet on me because she thinks it's funny, and she always makes fart noises and is like ewww pam the dog farted tell her something common play along with me. And every time I get paid she always sees is like it's her own pay check and always ask me to invite out to eat and to go here and there I just find it ridiculous how she has no shame in asking me for these things. And one time she had burly started work and I knew she hadn't eaten all day and I was low on cash but I went to my friends job get something like some cheap tacos and I ask her what she wants from here where my friend works but that I am low on cash to please order something cheap. Her respond was no I don't want anything from there I want a burger with fries and a large shake. That just got me so mad. I don't want to ask her to go because I know she has no where else. what should I do? what should I tell her. I just want her to understand that she needs to be more responsible because she is now 23. And the point here is that she does not understand how bad it is for her to be bouncing from house and she does not seem like she wants to save for her future.
