When I don't pay them attention they start being rude. I am sick of it!! Whats the best to stop this? When I tell this other guys they start to geht jealous! Girls I don't like hating non stop. I even don't know why this happens. I don't see anything special about me. Its not that I hate myself, I am just ok with who I am. But people always feel the need to put me down, make me uncofortable to the point they get obssesed with me and somehow managed to hack my computer. Its extremly sick whats happening here ! I plan on bringing it up with my therapist, but that won't be until Tuesday so I'm stuck until then. Now what I mean is I really don't feel it anymore. If a girl turns me down, for a date or telling me she likes me as a friend, I don't really feel hurt. If I fall on my longboard and a lot of people saw it happen, I get up like it never happened, check if I'm really hurt, and hop back on it. If I get in trouble, high school especially, I take it. I know what I did was wrong and I accept that I am in trouble and don't really care. Like I'd ditch class, get sent to the deans, and just say something like "Yeah, I ditched. *give reason*. What's my punishment?". He even let me choose because he knew I'd be fair to myself and say, "3 days of lunch detention?" or "ISS cause this happened last week." Either way I don't feel as guilty or embarrassed as most people my age do about these things (19 btw) and I feel it might tie back to my childhood and past. Until I can see my therapist about this, any possible ideas as to why things that should leave me embarrassed or guilty only leave me thinking it was a mild inconvenience to my life. |

I live in a town we'll call town #1 and she lives in town #2. The school board wants to kick her kids out of the school and make them go to another school. She wants me to lie and say she's staying with me and my family. The thing is the school she would be forced to change to is a bad school full of drugs and bad kids. But, if I lie, I have to sign a notary (legal document verifying she lives here) in front of a room full of people so they can watch. I don't want to get in trouble but I want to help her out, should I help my friend and say she lives with me? The reason they want to kick her out of the school is because she lives in a different town. |

We have the same level of experience and were on the team for the same amount of time. Even though there can be two associate captains (kind of like captain in training), the band director picked her and her only. Don t get me wrong, I m very happy for her, but when I heard the news I could not stop crying. I worked my bum off just to be perfect at every move, gave all I could give (which was a helluvalot) and I did not get it. Today at practice the captains told her "You re one of us now!" My anxiety makes me a super sensitive person and I don t know if my feelings are valid or not. This is my weekend story. I went on a weekend vacation with my best friend and her other two friends. The first day we were there it was my birthday and I wanted us all to go for a walk on the beach and I ended up going alone. I was slightly annoyed so I went for a long walk. When I came back my best friend was upset because she thought something bad had happened to me. The next day I wanted us all to go out to eat. My best friend ditched me with her other friend and I ended up eating with the other friend who was left with me. I told my best friend ahead of time I wanted us to all eat together and she ignored me. I got upset and wanted time alone. My best friend followed me and then yelled at me because of the drama. We got in a screaming match and then we were fine. The last day we were there we went to an amusement park. She yelled at me for slipping a swear word and told me to keep my mouth shut. She then wouldn t talk to me and she was constantly holding her other friends hand and hugging him. I pulled her aside to ask her if she was mad at me and she said no and continued to treat me crappy. After a few rides she hugged me. I am upset at her. I don t think she meant to treat me poorly but she did. She wants to hang out tomorow and I almost want to tell her to f off. Is this anxiety or are my feelings valid? |

A few weeks ago, the best friend started to hang out more with the close friend. It was ok, I didn't care. Well after a little while they would totally disclude me from conversations, and wouldn't really talk to me. What do I do? This boy and I have many of the same classes because we both take AP courses. He keeps bulling me and intimidating me every chance he gets and he when I tell him to leave me alone or stop doing things he wont listen to me. He is 6'2" and a lot stronger than me so I cant fight back. I try telling teachers and they just say he does it because he likes me when obviously that is not the case because his goal is to make my life hell. I have come to the conclusion that the reason behind it is that I am his main competition in class because I am the only person who has a higher grade than him and when I answer a question right or get the highest grade he always gets really angry. In class last week we had a discussion about 80s music after a test and apparently it is popular again and so he was bragging about his 300 vinyl records and so I mention that I have been collecting them since I was 6 with my dad and I have over 2000 now and I was hoping it would make him want to be my friend and not hate me, but it didn't work because now he hates me more than ever and follows me around when I go to the bathroom he waits out side and makes it obvious he is following me and when I was coping lab data from my friend's notebook in the hall way he stood above me and made sure I knew because he put his foot right next to my face like he would kick me. Then he put his foot on my pant leg so I couldn't get up and he refused to let go. The record collection talk was what made me realize why he hated me before I had just assumed it was because I was kind of an outcast in school and I only have 1 friend and the entire class loves him and sometimes people bully others just because they want to prove their superiority and that is what I assumed was happening at first. |

It started great at first. She's still here, but she's continuously mad at me and putting peer pressure on me. Whenever she asks to show me what I'm doing on my laptop, because I'm introverted, I don't want to show her anything, even though I have no history of being inappropriate on the web. Today, she gets mad for not seeing what I' m doing on there and she traps both of my hands together like handcuffs. Yesterday, we were helping my mother make tacos. After I decide to participate in the easy parts, she complains how I did everything when all I did was the easy parts and she did the harder parts. She then complains about how my mother is always on my side for being the daughter, and she gets yelled at, when my mother has scolded and yelled at me for making rude jokes which I apologized about since I thought she was laid back. She started to not respond to my apologies. Last night when I went to sleep, she asked if I was mad at her said I hated her. I told her why I didn't, then she interrupted me continuously and made me mad at her, then said I shouldn't get mad at her when I interrupt people a lot. Telling her it was a bad habit and apologizing sincerely, she still didn't give a single ****. I cannot predict the future, so I am not sure what happens next. Can you give me tips on how to fix this? Note: I just remembered, we were talking crushes last night, and after I told her 'mine,' which really wasn't a crush, just a group of friends, she goes downstairs and starts teasing me about how she's gonna tell my mom and my brother that I like a boy. For the past few months he's carried 2 rocks around, he named them Ajax and Zoey. So he's very extroverted, and has no friends and I know it's very hard for him. I don't think he's had any friends since elementary school since he's been complaining about it for years But what I'm most worried about is the fact that he talks to his rocks as if they were people, and he also says they talk back, but only when no one is around. I don't consider myself super sociable, but I am definitely more sociable than them. How do I get my parents to talk to more people? I wish my parents could make friends because it affects me when they don't have friends. I used to be good friends with him but he started acting stalkerish. He's not gay because he has a girlfriend but it came to the point where him and sometimes his girlfriend also would show up at at my house at the crack of dawn everyday and not leave until around midnight. Last week I lied and told them I wasn't home, when he found out I was lying he showed up at my house and tried to get me to fight him. He has a gf and has said it but previously he's mentioned going to eat, caught him staring, random texts/excuses to talk to me like can you check if my grandma is home. So are these the signs? We got into a fight then after a while he saw me again and smiled, stares into my eyes….So we got into an argument when I called him out on the things he'd been doing and he wouldn't admit to his interest in me. In the past he's asked subtly like "don't you have a bf to give you gym advice". He still comes around everyday and smiled at me when I needed to back out my car. I must not have noticed cause after my 2nd period class it was down and I walked all the way across campus with it down. My shirt was kind of short so I'm sure people noticed. I remembered them looking at me and looking down there a lot but I didn't think anything of it. And I didn't notice it until I got in class and my friend told me. Now I feel really embarrassed! The friend feels like she has no one to go to and even if she went to someone, they would side with the mother simple because she is the mother. Her parents are divorced, so luckily she only has to deal with her mom half the time, but it s getting really bad for her. I really want to help her somehow, but the problem is that she lives in England and I live in America. If I lived closer, maybe I could do something. I used to hang with the dude all the time but as soon as they started dating he started acting different. All of a sudden they started acting like i'm an idiot that needs their guidance somehow. Even some of my other friends have noticed this. My one friend said when my name comes up in conversation it's like they refer to me as like i'm their nephew with special needs. Another thing is they constantly bash me for being single. What doesn't make sense is that they will try to invite me out with them with other couples and I usually will deny because I hate being the 3rd wheel but they will ***** about that but when I do go they will act annoyed and stuff for me being the only single person. The weirdest thing happened 2 nights ago when they invited me camping. All night they kept trying to bother me by telling me how they are going to have sex in their tent like it's supposed to make me jealous or something. Then the weird part happened. He just got out of prison, In total he's been in prison for 10 years of his life, he's killed people before, he sells a lot of hard drugs like heroin crack and cocaine. She was telling me how he has her bagging and weighing the drugs for him and she's even made deals herself. I honestly think he's setting her up because she's so nice and quiet, but I don't want to say anything and ruin our friendship. I know this is going to end bad. What could I do? |

Not until recently, maybe the past month, I've started to feel strongly for her. Up until then we were just close friends. I view her as my younger sister (she's a couple years younger) and she's said she sees me as an older brother. At first I was in denial about how I felt because I didn't want to ruin the friendship we did have. There's no denying how I feel anymore. I kind of told her how I felt four days ago but did it in a way where I knew I would get rejected. I kind of just caught her off guard with it as I drove her home from work and didn't really say exactly how I felt. I did it like that for a number of reasons I won't get into and yes, one of them is fear she feels the same (one of our really close mutual friends has thought she felt that way for me for a while now) and it doesn't work out and the friendship is ruined. Now I regret that. I have no doubt that if I did it properly and eased into revealing how I felt we would be on our way to a relationship. I want to try and mend that broken bridge but am not sure how. I'm upset because I actually feel so strongly that I started writing. I hate writing but when I just write about how I feel about her it helps. I've thought about giving her one of these letters but seeing as it's only been 4 days since I messed it up I think it's too soon. Any advice on what to do would be appreciated. Thank you. |

He and I live in different states (but we are not in a long distance relationship). I wanted to see him again while I was in his state three weeks ago. I sent him a text letting him know I was in town and he asked me for the address. I told him I would contact him once I got to the hotel. My kid brother and I went to the park and I saw the guy there. I didn't go there looking for him we just so happened to be there at the same time. We walked passed each other but didn't speak but we did look at each other. When I got to the hotel I texted him asking him to come see me. He then told me he had left time temporarily but that he would be back the next day. I told him that I knew he had saw me at the park and that he was lying. He said he did see me at the park but that he had left town and would be back the next day. (He does work a lot travelling from time to time.) He told me before I came to see him that he might not be able to meet me. That he's having some financial issues. When he told me he had left town I went off on him and said some bad things to him. That's when he started calling and texting me telling me to answer the phone. I didn't answer and just ignored his calls completely. The next night I got drunk and continued to go off on him and again he told me to call him but I didn't. He was wrong for lying and I was wrong for going off on him. I just wish I would have got to see him while I was there. |

He's a nice guy but I still feel lonely, like I did when I was single. I know I should be grateful to have a nice guy in my life but I spend so much time alone. When he's with me, he's so attentive and so focused on me but that doesn't happen very often. Take last week we hung out Thursday night. Friday night we had a date planned but he didn't show up til 9. All weekend went by i spent by myself, didn't see him. Memorial day I spent the entire day by myself, he showed up unexpected for only two hours because he had family plans and other things he wanted to do. Tonight he called and said "hey wanna share a pizza? I can hang out for an hour" at 8:30 pm. Everything is last minute and he doesn't have much time for me. He texts me every day and is sweet in his text messages. He tells me that he likes me but he doesn't make me a priority in his life. I am kind of a needy girl. I hate spending four days in a row by myself. I want to be with someone who has time for me. Any thoughts? Am I just expecting too much? |

I can't stand when people start conversations with me and I do everything to avoid it. I am so weird and awkward in conversations I think it's best I do avoid them. I hate parties too and wouldn't go to one for a million dollars. Anyway I can't take it when extroverts get comfortable around me. I get annoyed very easily and wish they would leave. All the random, annoying noises they make and the non stop talking and gossiping annoys me more than anything. Why do they talk to me?? Why? Can't they see I'm awkward and not a conversation person? Is this normal, or am I too socially awkward? I don't even understand how people can be extroverted and so carefree and annoying. |

We used to have a great, carefree friendship and it all just feels a little out of whack now. He's the guy my family would like to see me date and at times I feel as though I could see myself with him but there's a lack of attraction I have towards him. I think he has great morals/similar interests and that's why we're great as friends. A few months ago I kissed him when I was drunk (not planning to) and shortly after he started to mention how we should try to be more than friends and see where it goes but I just haven't entertained the idea. He recently was seeing someone and for a short time I thought I was attracted to him but shortly after that feeling went away. A few things that bother me is him always trying to "one up" me and act like hes way more knowledgeable (on things I don't really know/care about), he always has to make it a point to mention when he thinks a girl is cute/when a girl is checking him out (he says it gives him an "ego boost"). I told him it was annoying/unnecessary and he stopped. I just feel, in a way that there is a "motive" behind his kindness and that he's wanted to sleep with his best friend for awhile now. I just lost a best friend of 12 years because he just wanted to get in my pants and then turned into an asshole. I guess I'm afraid to loose another friend from crossing that line...I just don't know how genuine he is. |
