Question: As a man, how involved should I be with the planning of my wedding? Posted: 05 May 2016 10:12 AM PDT I understand that generally the answer is "not very", but I would like to know specifics. 1. Is there anything at all where it would be better for me to take charge? 2. Does the answer change if my fiancée actually hasn't had this planned out in her mind since she was 6? Rebecca~That isn't to say that she isn't as excited as excited could be about being engaged. But her personality isn't really the type to think about details. I imagine if she was just a tadly bit more toward the detail-oriented side f the spectrum, she'd be about the same as most women where wedding-planning is concerned.
Question: I lost my engagement ring is it bad to buy my own? Posted: 05 May 2016 09:50 AM PDT I lost my engagement last Christmas andthen I bought my own the same exact one with the my own money. I first told my fiancé I found it. Then I couldn t stick with the lie I then told him I bought it myself. He said he would of bought me another one. But I don t believe that he would of. I don t blame him if he wouldn t have. But is it bad that I bought my own ring?
Question: Is it weird to buy myself a "Wedding ring"? Posted: 05 May 2016 09:35 AM PDT Im not getting married. I just have this thing for rings that look like wedding rings I want to buy one but i dont know. Does it matter? Im 16, **** guys right now lol
Question: How can I include my fiance s younger brother and sister in the wedding? 13+14 yrs old.? Posted: 05 May 2016 08:26 AM PDT So, after my fiance and I announced who would be our bridesmaids and groomsmen, my fiance s mother told us her two youngest children feel hurt and left out because they aren t "included in the wedding." She asked if we could make her 13 year old daughter a bridesmaid and her 14 year old son a groomsman. My fiance and I decided this is out of the question. They re too young in our opinion to hold that much responsibility, and we had already announced who would be the bridesmaids and groomsmen. We didn t want to cheaper this title by adding someone at the last minute. We also didn t want to add them as a jr groomsman and jr bridesmaid because we see ourselves running into trouble down the road with my fiance s mother in regards to any decisions we make in regards to her children, such as what they are going to wear. So.... How can I appease her in some way, while finding something appropriate for them? And we think they are too old to be a flower girl and ring bearer.
Question: How long do designers keep wedding dresses stocked? Posted: 05 May 2016 08:06 AM PDT Hey! So I don't plan on getting married for possibly another couple of years, and I know this may seem a little odd, but I have found this wedding dress I LOVE. I saw it in a store and online because my cousin works at a bridal salon. It's a Lazaro 3553. It just came out in his most recent fall line. Does anyone know how long wedding dresses continue to be manufactured? I'm not entirely sure it is THE ONE but I'm just curious. Will this dress be available in the next 2 or 3 years? Thanks!
Posted: 05 May 2016 12:50 AM PDT So my uncles wedding was about a month ago. He lives in NY. I live in Hawaii so i decided for his wedding gift to send them stuff like Hawaiian coffee, Hawaiian mug, hawaiian goodies, candles, soap etc. Mostly stuff from Hawaii. Spent around 150 with shipping included. Is that a good wedding gift? He told me not to get him anything because they were overwhelmed with gifts and told me coming from Hawaii and showing up to his wedding was the best gift. Would you be happy if you received goodies from Hawaii as your wedding gift? I might be over thinking it.
Question: Should I invite my coworker to my wedding? Posted: 04 May 2016 11:15 PM PDT Okay I will admit that this is more of a rant than a question. I know the right answer is that I should compromise and not invite her because we should both agree to invite a guest or not. here it goes: I have invited all of my front desk coworkers except one (Amy). Amy and I get along great and we are for the most part friends. Amy is sweet and funny person, but also is strongly opinionated. I had my fiance come with me to the office holiday party this December, and at the party Amy made a speech to everyone about a bill she felt strongly about and asked everyone to sign a petition. My fiance disagreed with her political views and they got in a mild debate. This was all very embarrassing for me because I had to sit through my fiance getting in an argument in front of all my coworkers. I don't necessarily think it was appropriate for Amy to be pushing her political views on everyone at an office holiday party, but it was worse that my fiance made such a scene. Now my fiance said he does want her coming to our wedding because he decided he does not like her after the one time he met her. I still consider her a friend, and I hate having to be secretive about giving my other coworkers invites but not her. My fiance has an equal say in our wedding planning but its frustrating that he had a bad experience with Amy the only time he met her, and I spend every day at work with her and it is extremely uncomfortable… especially when she asks for updates about my wedding planning!
