Every time I try to skype call with my buddy, our other friends just randomly join the chat and its annoying. How do I make it so nobody can just join the chat without an invite?

First, I would like to say that telling me to appreciate how my life is because others are worse off is a bad idea. I am aware of that. But people don't look at things comparatively to make themselves feel better. If you win $100, your friend wins $10, and your other friend wins $1000, chances are you're going to be jealous of the $1000. Back to me. People around me are always more confident than me. They have more friends than me, actual, close friends, and people like them. I have few friends, and those who are my friends aren't close ones. They'd rather be with others than be with me. My family doesn't have a lot of money. Living in New York City, everyone around me, and I mean everyone, has an upper-middle class family, making at least $150,000 a year in household income, usually much more. Whereas my family can barely afford all the taxes, the house mortgage, and debt as it is. My family is always fighting and arguing. My parents want a divorce, I know it, but we can't sustain ourselves with a divorce. They always fight, and they take their anger out me and my sister, who take our anger out on each other, making my parents more angry, etc. I always see people with their friends buying food and stuff, or their vacation photos with their family and how loving and happy everyone is. And here I am, with few friends, unable to buy a decent lunch everyday, never having went on a vacation, and having a family full of discontent and discord.

All my friends have a phone. Whenever I go out with my friends or have rehearsal, there is no way for me to communicate with them, and they get angry. Once, I went to my friend's basketball game, and they yelled at me because they had no idea where I am even though I told them that I was going. I have no way to communicate with anyone around me. If you think I'm a spoiled brat with everything but a phone, you're wrong. I have no tablet, and no computer of my own. My parents cancelled Netflix.I have no device of my own. The only thing I can use is a computer, which is my parents. They have their own devices. It's "vintage" computer, to put it nicely. It is a 2001 MODEL COMPUTER! It is OLDER THAN ME. I have no idea if this question is even going to send because this computer is so slow and doesn't properly establish a connection, even if the router is a 3 ft away from the computer. Sometimes the computer just stops loading in the middle of a page. It's hard for me at school, because my school's so technology based. Everyone at my school has Google Classroom, and it's extremely hard for me to know whether or not my teacher posted something or not. And trust me, I know what someone will say,"Just pay for it" right? My parents never give me money. They owe me $175.00 but aren't paying it back. It's extremely upsetting because whenever I make a new friend, they're like "Give me ur number!" And I'm here like, "I got an email..."My fam and I get in fights about this alot. Any ideas?

There's a girl I'm sorta friends with, I talk to her once in a while in class. She's sorta just mean to everyone. Im a server with another girl, M at a restaurant. Another coworker (C) was talking about how M gets harassed a lot by guys at the restaurant and in a passing (not snarky, not sarcastic, completely normal) comment I said maybe it s because she always wears leggings to work. M is the only one that does this, and me and some of the other people have talked about how unprofessional it is. I guess C and M like each other so C told M what I said. Hi. I am 13 years old in middle school where I get made fun of every day for having really skinny legs and arms. People compare me to a twig. often somebody will grab my wrist just to laugh at how small it is. In the winter, I started wearing a sweatshirt and pants to cover my limbs so people couldn't make fun of me. Uhm idk how to put it, so I guess I am very anti-social at school, and it's because the students and I don't really fit together that much. Well, today she said she doesn't know how she will hang out because she doesn't have a car. I didn't realize she relies on her parents to get dropped off at work. Should I pick her up? I mean she lives 20 mins away and I will have to take her to my house and then drop her off again later. So this means I have to clean my place, pick her up, make us lattes, drop her off later, and come back home. That ends up being like 80 mins of driving to hang out with her. Which I feel is kind of unfair to me. What would you guys advise in this situation :D

My friend is awesome. But she also doesn't shower much. She doesn't take care of herself very well. She came to visit with her son, and she wouldn't put anything down on the floor when she changed his dirty **** filled diaper. It was always the three of us, me and my two best friends. I've knew one of them for years and we met our other friend at the start of year 7, we are now in year 10 and we have always been best friends. We have other friends, but non are as close to us as we are to each other, but lately, the one we met in year 7 has been hanging out with this other girl and completely ignoring us. If she gets out of a class before us, she will wait, but now she just walks off with this girl, but if we did it to her she would get mad. Also, when I invited her and my other friend round for a sleepover, she said she can't come round and when I asked her why she said she has to stay and babysit her little sister and when I offered to help she said no (she usually says yes to this). Then I over heard her talking to the other girl about going to her house on the day I planned the sleepover. Why didn't she just tell me she was going to her house, I wouldn't have been angry or anything. I'm more mad that she lied to me. Okay, so my and my two best friends had a sleepover last night. In the morning, we somehow got on the subject of spirits and stuff. Then one of my friends (the one who's house we were at) decided that we should make a Ouija board. My other friend was all in... But I wasn't too sure of it. I know that it's bad because it's what I've been taught all my life. So I watched them as they played (they made one out of cardboard and a marker). They had me write down everything the spirits said, since I wouldn't play with them. The 5th spirit they talked to said it was my one friend's uncle Charlie. She was so excited. It was the right death year and last name and everything. They had to be talking to it for a solid two hours. She asked it so many questions about other people and the future. Even though I wasn't playing, she asked a lot about my future. Like what year I'll get married, the first name of the person I'm marrying, if I'm moving, etc. And it answered all of them. I don't know if I should believe it, should I believe it? It said it's a good spirit.. But.. It could have lied. They stopped after a while. But they decided to play one more time before my friend and I had to leave. This time, I played. I knew I shouldn't.. And told them they could do it once before I joined... But they said there was only time to do it once more. So I did it. I was thinking that nothing bad was going to happed because all of the other spirits were good. This one also said it was good, and it wasn't a long conversation. I didn't even ask any questions.. I just had my hand on the thing. But still... I still feel like I've done wrong and I'm scared. Am I going to Hell? And when they were the only ones playing, I would say something... Like tell them to ask her uncle something... And it would just answer. My hand wasn't even on it and it was answering me.. It's scary. Also, I've felt really drained ever since. Like, weak. You know? Were the spirits absorbing my energy? So, should I believe what my friend's "uncle" said about my future? Or was it lying? And am I going to Hell for using it juts once? Like I said I didn't talk to it.. But still. Will God forgive me? Hello, first of all, I am 13, I don't know if it is because I'm becoming an adolescent or puberty or whatever, I know it is normal to have constant mood swings.. but this is starting to effect my life, so here's the story; I might be anti-social but, it's because I don't have people who understand me, not even my parents or friends.. they don't.. I mainly don't have friends because I am really intelligent(i don't care if you think I'm lying)and well, forget about my parents.. I will never talk to them because all they do is critisaize and never positive support.. NEVER. I only had 1 best friend in my life, and We aren't friends anymore because we are way too different personalities, boys are just too big of a drama, Its like have the best of both worlds, at school, fun with the boys, gossip with the girls.. I can fit into any group of people, but today, kids have blamed me because I stole and broke someone's stuff(which i swear i didnt) and ever since, everyone is against me.. except true friends who actually supported me.. I don't know im a boy but i always hang out with girls.. sometimes boys but the problem is that now everyone has a bad opinion on me and I litterally cried and everyone was so worried i couldn't be bothered to tell the reason. and I have made two choices; Stay away from those who are haters and become even more hardworking. I live in a recreational weed state. My roommates and I have a jar of an ounce of weed. We smoke it collectively. Anyways... this 'friend' stopped by gave me a beer and watched a soccer game. I leave the room with my roommate to go to the grill then I notice the living room weed jar is half full. I just filled it at the store the night before. I called him out on stealing the weed then he said he didn't and I told him to leave, since I was letting him watch the soccer game being friendly, letting the guy hangout smoke bong bowls and then just takes $120 of weed and tries to act cool about it. Its just weed, I don't care but why do people do that? I told the guy not to come back and stealing things from people especially when he can afford it shows his character and I told him off. I am the only guy in my high school AP physics class. My classmates are all good friends of mine. Most days a few of them ask me for help with their homework so I help them in the library after school. They really appreciate the help and on Fridays they bring treats that we share. They call this is a mini thank you party for my help. We all have a lot of fun doing this. Some times they give me a hug and say thank you and sometimes they give me a kiss on the cheek and say thank you. The problem is these girl's boyfriends are mad a me for being so close to their girlfriends. They tell me to stay away from their girlfriends. I don't think they have any reason to be mad at me. The girls ask for my help. If they don't want me helping their girlfriends, they should take this up with their girlfriends shouldn't they? Am I doing something wrong here by helping these girls?

Yesterday I called a friend of mine and she didn't answer, and today she sent me this message : "hi sorry yesterday i was busy, i rushed to home in the afternoon after i called my aunt that lives with us and she told me that my mom was extremely sick. i was felling terrible yesterday my mom even thought she was dying because of pain. i spent tonight with her thanks god her condition now is better." But I don't know what to tell her, in situations like that it's really hard to guess what to say. If someone has some really good message to answer her back, I'll be thankful.

There's this guy whose grandma lives in the same apartments as me and he's ALWAYS around. He has a gf and has said it but previously he's mentioned going to eat, caught him staring, random texts/excuses to talk to me like can you check if my grandma is home. So are these the signs? We got into a fight then after a while he saw me again and smiled, stares into my eyes….So we got into an argument when I called him out on it and he wouldn't admit to his interest in me. I'm usually described as quiet, timid and clumsy. I have a few friends, but prefer to keep to myself most of the time. Did I mention that I'm very short, or rather very small? I'm usually not very up to date, owing to the fact that I miss a lot of school for medical reasons. Recently I have thought that maybe I might come across as fragile or maybe something else like that. Like this morning when I accidentally choked on water during class and all of a sudden everyone was being really nice to me and kept asking if I was alright. Usually people also ask me whether I'm alright even when I'm just being normal. I was just wondering if that would affect people's opinions of me and the base of our friendship.

I dont get what my best friend wants, like she always talks about herself and sometimes other people, but when i talk about other people she oftenly say "so?" Or "okay and?". And if i talk about myself she sometimes say "nobody cares", "you dont know english" like english wasnt even my first language. everyone likes her in school even if they dont know her personally because she's the only one who have 'blonde hair' in school. I have a bestfrind called Anna.She was generally nice and kind,but she has her downs and thats fine with me, I accepted it. Cases of her ignoring me and will only talk if she does not have any friends had happened a few times. It pains a bit but i dont mind. She would also shows disinteres. I did lash out one time , like i just hated her so much. She did not care but at the end she feels weird and begin asking me why and i told her the truth (jokingly). Just a few days ago she starts to change to hardcore ignorance. Like I would try to engage a conversation and she does not seem to care a bit. Like i was not even there. She began changing a bit too. I m not sure if its because shes grown tired of me or anything. My point is that, i know that I can t blame her for being that as that is her and she choses to be that and maybe we weren t really meant to be friends. And that i cant force her to concern about me and stuff. It would be very selfish on my part. Any help in moving on and being in good terms at the samme time? (Apologies for the broken english! Its very hard to translate the matter into words, especially when its not my mother tongue (: )

Okay, so I m 15 and i have this one friend who always tells me who I can t and can be friends with we will call her Sophie so I m friends with someone who s 2 years younger than me, we were quite close and stuff but the thing is we had an argument back in 2015 and we ve just recently started talking again now sophie doesn t know we are talking again and I don t want to tell her because she literally causes drama and I don t want to lose this friend again and I m scared she s gonna starts rumours and that up about me but the thing is with Sophie is that every time she messages me I always get really bad stomach pains to the point where I m about to throw up? yeah basically I want to know how to be more selfish. Im so much better to people than they are to me and I actually don't care if I sound self centered because its true. My 'friends' are the worst friends ever where as I try not to say hurtful things because I know they probably have enough problems as it is but then they thinks jst because I don't hurt them with my words that I have no feelings andt ty to embarrass and say hurtful comments to me any chance they get. don't get me wrong sometimes they cn be great and theyre supposed to be my best friends bt im jst sick of everyone thinking that I dnt feel. Even for Christmas I got them really good gift and they were really thoughtful one girl didn't even get me a gift and another got me something I didn't need (those pinart things) not only did she get me this bt she didn't even bother wrapping it had been opened as her and her sister wanted to play with it and put theyre feet in it before they gave it to me in a ripped box. Its my birthday coming up and I thought itd be really nice if I invited them to go to a theme park with me they said fine and I was on the phone to my mum and they decided to pretend to talk about how stupid I was behind my back I didn't really care because I knew they were messing so I said fine ur not coming then jokinly and then they said we dnt care (theres three of us) and the both of them said theyd go without me and leave me on my own and started laughing. I know they were only kidding like but it hurt and im sick of confronting them and them telling me to stop being sensitive im sick of being left out while they hugto keep eachother warm while I just stand there looking like a loser. We've been friends for about 2 years and I can't take it any more. It's just the same endless loop about the 3 things in her life-- her hair, her clothes, and her so-called boyfriend she's always complaining about. That's literally ALL she talks about. This morning she started telling how "upset" she was... and it turns out she was re-living an argument they'd had 2 months ago. She was going to rehash it for the 10th time. When I say-- break up with him, she says oh no, he's very sweet. LMAO In the last 2 years I've gone back to school for my degree, started a new business, started a new hobby, remodeled part of my house, developed a very solid relationship with the man I'd been seeing, lost 40 pounds, etc. etc. And yet she's STILL talking about her hair (seriously- she will write me a long long email about trimming 1/4 inch off her hair and what that means for the future). Since we live in different states (time zones) I'll wake up to find 10 emails from her, all complaining about the same exact stuff she's complained about for 2 years. I seriously believe she has some mental issues. She cries about how poor she is, yet spends $800 a month (a month!) on clothes and crap. She's on the verge of losing her health insurance, yet refuses to call the company and find out what's what. How do I get away from this? I feel so sucked in.

So yesterday was y birthday abd only two of my friends wished me a happy birthday. The two that said happy birthday are definitly friends, but I wouldn't really consider them close friends. My best friend of 4 years now didn't say anything, or even care! For her birthday each year I always give her something, and go to her house, and usually for my birthday she does the same thing. They said happy birthday to me right in front of her, and she still didn't say anything! I feel sort of sad in some because it literally takes 2 seconds to say, and she acts like she doesn't care. I don't know but I want to talk to her about it, because it's sort of bothering to me. Should I bring it up, or let it slide?

Hi, i'm a sophomore in high school. My friend is 15 and she was friends with a 17 year old. He brought her into a bathroom to 'talk' and raped her over a week ago and she's only now starting to tell adults and authorities. Problem is, there's video footage of them going into the bathroom but she can't prove what happened inside of it and there's no way in hell he'd say anything but 'i thought she was into it'. He's already done this to another girl and I couldn't stand it if he got away with it again. She's ready to go to police but she's scared it'll end in nothing because of the lack of evidence. What do we do?

My friend always tells me I m too descriptive in my writing when personally her descriptions are not thorough enough. Is she being mean? How should I tell her to stop?

Okay so the conversation I had with this person is quite long and freaky since I haven't given out my number to ANYONE because I got a new phone which means that I only had my mum and my best friends number. To start of with, it's my birthday, and I was in class and realised that a random person had texted me, they texted me happy birthday and blah blah .... I asked them who it was and they refused to tell me so I just played along, but I thought it was weird because I didn't tell anyone my number. They then started to text me really inappropriate sexual messages and through me off completely and I started to get worried. I am still a little creeped out by the whole thing. The person apparently might go to my school and they apparently like me... (?) But they won't tell me who they are or how they got my number... but they know my name :( I think this whole thing is weird . It is not my best friend because she was there was the person was texting me...and like I said, no one else has my number... They haven't texted me since like 4pm though. What is going on? This all happened yesterday and I can't stop thinking how they got my number? was it through an IP track or something?
